When Transiting Pluto makes a Sextile to our Natal Ascendant, it is an indicator that things are about to change. There will be undeniable transformations in the way we present ourselves. We may find that we take a close and honest look at ourselves and the way that we are viewed by others.

need for some revamping, a need for some sort of regeneration?
What do we
like about ourselves and what do we want to rid ourselves of?
We will go
deep, likely deeper than we have gone before except if Pluto made a Conjunction
to our Ascendant at some point in our chart. Pluto conjunct our Ascendant may
have been quite a while ago or may not even have happened yet or may never happen. This is due to how slow Pluto moves around
the Zodiac.
We may look
at our appearance and make significant changes.
We might want to lose weight, some may go through facial surgery or revamp
the style of clothing in their wardrobe, for example.
We want to
look different under this influence, and this reflects the changes taking hold
on the inside. What begins inside often surfaces on the outside.
We may
change our goals, make new plans, change jobs, especially if somehow the
Midheaven is also part of the energies.
We may make transformations to many parts of ourselves, along with our
journey forward. It takes time for this all to unfold, often a couple of years.
Others will notice the changes. These are not something we keep secret.
The Sextile
is an opportunity aspect and with Pluto, the agent of change and total
transformation, things will most definitely transform. Sometimes we just need to go with the flow
but in many cases, Pluto demands action, but it can precipitate action on its
own.
There are
usually no half measures when it comes to the dynamism of Pluto, and you may
find that some may not agree with what you are undertaking, but in most cases,
things move forward regardless of what others might think. The past is gone and it’s time to move
forward into the future.
