THE ASCENDANT PERSONALITY

TRANSITING URANUS, NEPTUNE AND PLUTO

Transiting Uranus is Trine Transiting Pluto, and Sextile Transiting Neptune. 

 

All three planets are in the early degrees of the respective signs they are in.  Those individuals with planets in direct contact (Conjunction to one of these planets) will be influenced by the energies.  These planets remain in close proximity to each other by degree for some time yet to come. Uranus, Neptune and Pluto move further forward in their degrees in each of their current signs , thereby affecting those individuals with their planets or angles in further into the degrees of these signs.  Any planet or angle within 3° of these transiting planets will be influenced by their powerful energies.

Neptune opens the door of insight and offers us the opportunity to go deeper into our subconscious.  It brings visions to the surface, allows a connection to the unknown or unseen and fosters growth in the spiritual realm for those that are walking that particular road.  Neptune can also bring with it confusion, making things unclear. This can push us to worry and be anxious.  It truly helps to have a guiding principle like a strong Saturn in place to help clear things up and provide clarity and the potential for adding stability to the equation.

 

Pluto, the power agent of transformation and regeneration, brings with it potential power struggles (ego interruption) often suggesting an end of things to offer something new and to take us to where we need to be.  Pluto transforms life situation and there are no half measures when we speak of its energies of change.  Fighting against change only makes things worse.  We are better off swimming with the current rather than fighting the waves of change that will eventually take us deeper into ourselves and open doors that might otherwise have been closed.

 

These three power planets affecting our charts at the same time from different areas of our charts (the houses) will most certainly bring about revelations which take place and push us into our future required path. 

 

In most cases the energies will be felt 3° prior to being exact and will begin dissipating 2° after they contact any planets or angles within our chart.  The whole process should take approximately two years. When transiting Uranus, Neptune and Pluto all contact your chart, we should work with the energies & enjoy the transition with anticipation of a new needed path.

ASPECTS TO SUN IN VIRGO 2026, Part II

It should be noted that those with their Sun in the middle to later degrees of Virgo will not be influenced by the three outer planets the way that those in the beginning degrees will be influenced as stated in yesterday’s article. 

 

Those with their Sun in the final degrees of Virgo will, however, be under the influence of these three outer planets (Uranus, Neptune and Pluto) but will have the following aspects in place:  Uranus, which is in Gemini, will make a Trine, Neptune, which is in Aries, will make an Opposition and Pluto, which is in Aquarius, will make a Trine. The two Trines together with the Sun’s position will make a Grand Trine which is strong but will be out of element.

 

The energies will be flowing well but you will also have to take into consideration the houses involved as these will affect the areas of life concerned. 

 

The Opposition often indicates that someone else might trigger the action/event but it is not always in a pleasant manner.  What they are trying to accomplish may be a little vague or it may make you uncertain of which direction you should take.

 

Those with their natal Sun in the mid-degrees should check to see if they have any minor aspects from these transiting planets to their Natal Sun.  If there are no minor aspects, those in the mid degrees of Virgo would have to check what influence and aspects these three transiting outer planets will have on the rest of the natal chart. 

 

There is always something happening within the framework of our natal chart.  It is of extreme importance to always look at the bigger picture of what the transits are doing in the natal chart.

 

The transit of the inner planets move very quickly but may still have a minor influence on your chart. These, however, likely will be quite fleeting.

 

As suggested in Aspects for Sun in Virgo 2026, Part II, those with Virgo in the later degrees can expect an easy flow to the energy and other’s may initiate change. Again, happy solar return Virgo.

SUN IN VIRGO 2026

The Sun moves into the sign of Virgo on August 22, 2026. 

 

If your Sun is between 1” and 9° 59” in the sign of Virgo, you are considered a double Virgo.  If your Sun is between 10° and 19° 59” Virgo, you are a Virgo and will have some Capricorn tendencies, and if your Sun is between 20° and 29° 59” Virgo, you are in the 3^rd decan (or decanate) and will also have some Taurus tendencies.  These are the three decans of Virgo (as with all signs) and the house placement of your Sun will also be influenced by the natural ruler of the house in which it resides.

BRIGHT SUNNY SKIES

If life has seemed dim, remember it’s always the darkest just before dawn.

SATURN SEXTILE NATAL PLUTO

Saturn in challenging aspect to Pluto can be quite perplexing because Pluto deals with leaving something behind and then starting something new. Saturn, however, dislikes change. TIME TO GET AWAY FROM IT ALL

A quick reminder that there are always ways to move away from a situation that does not bring peace into your life.  This is not to say that you should try to escape any life lesson because sooner or later you must deal with the situation and learn the lesson. We can become so overwhelmed by our journey at times that we need to be reminded that it is okay to take a step aside for much needed down time. Take time to inhale and to exhale. Relax!  How long has it been?

 

Take a holiday from life’s stressor or responsibilities.  Walk in the woods, take in nature as its wonderment is far beyond anything we can experience from something manmade.  Its beauty is captivating if we stop to see it.  

 

Stop for a moment, open your eyes and focus on what is right in front of you.  Find a stream, river or lake and sit. Listen to the sounds.  Let them become a part of you!

 

If possible, go on a mini trip. It does not have to be far away, something nearby and inexpensive.  Let go of and stop focusing on shortages. Enjoy yourself. Enjoyment does not have to cost monetarily. You can still be responsible.

 

If getting away for a day or two is impossible, then seize what is available. Sometimes all you need is a short relaxation technique. Meditation is the perfect fix for anxiety. Relaxation should and has to be a part of your life. 

 

Mindfulness and meditation go hand in hand and allows you to adopt a much more passive approach to even stressful situations.

 

A second good practice is to write down what is causing you anxiety. Then write down ways to improve the situation. Likely you already have what you need to aid the situation and reviewing the circumstances on paper helps you to focus.

 

It might be time to get away from it all for the moment. Refocus, create a plan and then put the plan in motion. Situations would not be in place if there were not a lesson to be learned.  Learn and move on!

THE INFLUENCE OF THE SUN IN OUR NATAL CHART

It is said that you can tell quite a bit about an individual just by the Sun, Moon and Ascendant in the birth chart (natal astrology chart). 

 

The Sun reveals who we are on an internal level.  Much will depend on the aspect configurations connected to the sun and the house that it resides in.  However, we all carry much of our inner personality from the influence of the Sun.

 

The Sun also represents the father figure in our life while the Moon represents the mother or nurturing figure. Once again, you must take into consideration the aspects and the house placements of both to get more details on the energies. 

 

The Sun is representative of our goals in life.  There is a huge difference between someone who has their Sun in Aries and someone who has their Sun in Pisces.  Both have completely different paths in life, although they do share the fact that growth is important. With Pisces growth would be through service and spiritual advancement. With Aries, growth comes either through exploration or experience. Aries advancement in pursuits are on a more aggressive manner, or through lessons learned due to failure due to wanting things to take place quickly.

 

The Sun along with the North Node points towards our destiny and the way we will move forward to reach our summit.  Will we move forward in an unusual, eccentric and humanitarian manner (Aquarius) or through secret, internal transformations that might be considered taboo (Scorpio)?

 

The house placement is extremely important as we get a mixture of character traits depending on which house our Sun resides in.  Will we pursue life through communication techniques and teachings (Gemini/3^rd house), or will we pursue life through material advancement and goals that push us to the very top of our objectives especially in our career (Capricorn/10^th house)?

 

The Sun can determine what our health is like.  Is it robust because of influences from Jupiter and is it well aspected by the Ascendant and Mars?

 

Does the Sun have trines to Pluto which offers the potential for powerful regenerative capabilities? 

 

Is the Sun poorly aspected especially by the outer planets, and does it have negative implications from the Ascendant, the sixth and/or twelfth houses?

 

We can learn to adapt if the latter example is the case, although knowing this will help us and make us pay closer attention to our health.

 

Jupiter on the Ascendant can speak of gaining weight and Mars can speak of a fight for survival especially if challenged and close to the Ascendant. 

 

The whole chart must be carefully studied to obtain a clear and concise health analysis. 

 

Mercury must also be applied when reviewing the chart potential by the influence of the Sun as Mercury rules our pattern of thinking and will help define the potential Sun character traits, especially through the way we communicate.

 

Aspects from the Sun to other planets and angles will help define who we are and the way we express our uniqueness. 

 

We must also consider the decants as they will also color the kind of person we are.  Each sign is divided into 3 decants. Each decant is 10°, and are contained within the same element (Air, Water, Fire and Earth). The first 9° 59” would be a double Sun sign emphasis.

 

The influence of the Sun in our natal chart reflects our core self, our ego, our purpose in life, and so much more. The Sun is important, but we are so much more than just our Sun sign.

 

As we can see, the Sun sign is extremely important when it comes to who we are, and in this article we are just touching on the relevance of this extremely important energy in our Natal makeup.
