SUN IN TAURUS 2026

The sun moves into the sign of Taurus on April 20, 2026.

 

Some of the general traits of a typical Taurus Sun individual include patience, perseverance and reliability.  They seem to have a no-nonsense approach to life, realizing that it takes hard work and a diligent effort to achieve the goals they set.  They know that it takes time, and this is where patience and perseverance come into play.

ARIES NEW MOON 2026

On April 17, 2026, we will be experiencing a New Moon in the sign of Aries.  Aries is the initiator, the starter, and the one that pushes for immediate results.  This New Moon falls at 27° Aries and is Conjunct Chiron which is at 26° of Aries and is Semi sextile to Uranus which is at 29° of Taurus.  We also have a Stellium in Aries with Neptune, Mercury, Mars, and Saturn all within orb separated in the beginning from Neptune at 2° degrees and ending with Saturn which is at 7°.  This is considered a tight Stellium so its influence will be felt.

 

The energies of Aries, as you can see, is quite prevalent and is pushing those influenced, especially by Conjunction or Opposition to either the Stellium or the New Moon’s position.  Aries is the pioneer, the forerunner and has quite a strong push to achieve what it sets out to do.  It is very personal, although it can affect others because of what it initiates.  So, if this is contacting your Natal Chart, what do you need to move forward with that is quite personal and may have strong consequences as a result of your actions? 

 

This is a powerhouse of energy, and if used in the correct manner, it can propel you in a forward motion which is quite opposite to any form of stagnation you may have had in place prior to this timeframe.

 

This action is likely immediate and may be rather aggressive.  Those that have planets or angles connected to either the position of the New Moon or the Stellium should certainly pursue their goals.  Remember, the New Moon is the early stages of development and whatever is being pursued may take some time to unfold. Your actions now, however, and the continued effort you apply, will likely be acknowledged when we reach the Full Moon in Aries in approximately 6 months.

 

The Conjunct with the New Moon to Chiron suggests some healing may be required.  Much will depend on the houses involved, as the houses in the Astrology chart are the areas of life that are being affected.  In many cases, Chiron is associated with the wounded healer, who has the abilities to help others heal, but may have some challenges with working towards healing themselves (check houses of transiting Chiron and Natal Chiron as well).

 

The Semi-sextile from Uranus at 29° Taurus can be difficult but also suggests that you are in the right place at the right time.  Watch for doing something without much thought, which is quite possible under these powerful connections to Aries, as well as the desire for change which will be created by Uranus.  The desire is to jump and perhaps you need to do this, but at the same time, do not be rash with your judgments or actions. This is even more important as transiting Neptune and Mercury are Conjunct at this time which may cause the thought process to be a little blurry. At the same time, you may be rushed because of transiting Mars having an impact on this Stellium, as Mars is all about action.  Saturn will be the one that pulls you to stop, if even just for a second, to think about the results of you decisions.

 

The Aries New Moon 2026 is pushing for personal achievement, and you may feel an aggressive push to achieve your goals. Heal old wounds and start fresh. Due your due diligence and think before you leap.

ITS NOT ON YOU

It is important to take ownership of our actions. In some circumstances, however, the actions of others directly influence those with little or no choice but be affected.

 

In many cases, it takes two to tango, so the saying goes. If it is two parties taking action or acting out, then both parties need to take responsibility for what has taken hold. 

 

It is also important to realize that you act for yourself.  It is just as important to recognize that it is not up to you to push someone else to make changes.  They must make their own decisions to take appropriate actions. We cannot force others to make changes to themselves or corrections to their actions. It can be frustrating to watch someone close being hurtful towards others (including you) or themselves.

 

Sometimes, people shoulder the blame for things they did not do or had no control over. How often do we overthink events and struggle to come up with alternative actions we could have taken to change an outcome that is already in the past (an outcome we had no decision in creating)? 

 

“If only I had made a phone call that day then Charlie (or some other loved one) may not have been in the car at that precise moment of impact” is a perfect example.  The events of life are not yours to own.

 

Remember, it is not always on you but take ownership when it is. Everyone is responsible for their own actions and choices. Stop blaming yourself when it is not your fault and carrying the weight of others. It is not on you! Have self-compassion and set clearer boundaries.

LIBRA FULL MOON 2026

A Full Moon, as many of you are aware, is the culmination of goals or energy put in place some six months ago when we had our New Moon in the same sign.  This Full Moon is in the sign of Libra, the sign of the scales, is linked to relationships of significance in this life.  April 2, the Libra Full Moon will at 12° degrees.

 

During this full moon, using an orb of no more than 3° degrees, it will form a Square to the planet Jupiter which is at 15° degrees in the sign of Cancer.

 

Since Cancer and Libra are both signs that have to do with family and the relationships with them, this is likely tied to members of our family if the Full Moon is making contact in our Astrology chart.  For example, this can include your parents, your spouse and/or your children, if the fifth house is part of the picture. It will affect your relationship with co-workers if the sixth house is involved, and with friends if the eleventh house is part of the picture. 

 

Cancer (Jupiter’s current sign) is an emotionally driven sign, and Libra (the Moon’s current sign) wants to create peace, balance and fairness including justice when necessary.  If there are wrongdoings, the feelings will run deep. If there has been injustice, there is a need to rectify the situation.  All comes out in the wash as they say. You have to put things into the washing machine before they can come out clean. The residue of the dirt that might have surfaced needs to be cleared away.

 

This will most likely, as mentioned, be about relationships.  With Jupiter being part of the process and having been in place for some time, things or these energies will likely have reached a peak. Although the situations are heightened, because of the influence of the great benefactor, Jupiter, you should be able to work things out for the best, if you do what must be done to make things right.

 

Libra suggests you use diplomacy and bring about the balance that is required.  Be the judge but try not to make too many judgements.  Libra always looks at both sides of the situation and will work hard on either side of the coin to bring about favorable outcomes. 

 

There is potential here, but it will take work. Square aspects force you into action, because you want resolution.  Do your best. If it is personal, practice forgiveness. If it is not personal, do not take on the energies of others. It serves no purpose other than to create anxiety to be emotionally involved in something that is not yours to own. 

 

This Libra Full Moon 2026 will certainly involve relationships and emotions will be amplified.  Find peace, balance, fairness and even justice where necessary.

JUPITER CONJUNCT NATAL PLUTO

Transiting Jupiter making a Conjunction to your Natal Pluto is a very powerful combination.  Pluto on its own is power at its peak, and Jupiter expands everything it touches. The house position of this Conjunction will be emphasized during this meeting of these great powers of influence.

 

It is important to find a sense of order and balance as you maneuver your way forward with this aspect. Your approach might be seen by some as overly aggressive and power hungry.  There is an extreme strong urge to succeed in anything that you put your mind to.  This is similar to a very powerful wave that comes over you, slowly but surely. Your push from within can be quite progressive if you take into consideration that there are those that will not respond well to your authority push.  Those in positions of authority may want to listen to what you have to say but may feel threatened by your enthusiasm.

 

You have great enthusiasm, as mentioned, and have great faith that you can achieve under this aspect.  You can transform your life and bring some goals to fruition during this momentous period. 

 

Jupiter moves about 1° every five days and unless it goes into retrograde during its connection with Pluto, its energies, which are quite positive, will last about one month or a little longer.  Therefore, it is advised that you move forward with your ambitions without delay.

 

Watch for becoming obsessive as you can become quite fanatical in your approach.  Diplomacy is highly suggested, and you and your superiors may have clashes unless you adhere to a diplomatic approach.  This is the time to pay attention to what is motivating you.  Is it greed, power, or possibly ego? 

 

Greed, power and ego are part of the process, but you must be sure that you are not only working for your own rewards. If so, others may try to block your success.  Jealousy and fear can become a motivating force behind other people’s actions if they feel threatened by your aggressive action.

 

Examine your motives but have faith in your objectives and know that this might just be the time when you can advance your cause. It should be pursued but dealt with in a diplomatic way. Transiting Jupiter conjunct natal Pluto can be a time for professional advancement, and achievement is likely if you play your cards right.

ASPECTS FOR SUN IN ARIES 2026

We posted a short article on Sun in Aries on March 18: https://www.holmastrology.com/post/sun-in-aries-2026  Today, we will look at some of the aspects that will be affecting our Aria

n readers in 2026.

 

Transiting Saturn and Neptune have been in close proximity to one another for some time now.  They begin to separate into April, although still tight when the Sun moves into Aries, separated only by 3° degrees.  Towards the end of July, transiting Saturn, then at 14° into Aries, begins its retrograde cycle.  It goes from 14° back to 7° finally going into direct motion in December, 2026. 

 

Transiting Neptune will also go into its retrograde cycle beginning early July moving from 4° Aries down to 1° Aries and then moving back into its direct cycle very close to when Saturn moves into its direct motion at the end of the year.  Saturn and Neptune are in Conjunction once again but out by 6° which is far less powerful.  Energies merge but not with the intensity they were previously when the aspect was within 3°.

 

Those with their Sun within range of these degrees in the sign of Aries will be affected by the Conjunction of their Sun to Saturn and to Neptune at different periods throughout 2026 and well into 2027, with Neptune staying in Aries for about 14 years.

 

If your Sun is well aspected in the Natal chart, then both energies will assist in your ventures forward over this timeframe.  Of course, the degree of your Sun will have to be within range of these transiting planets. 

 

Those with Aries Sun in early degrees should also be pleased to find that Uranus and Pluto will also both be making Sextiles to this position of the Sun, so a potentially positive time can be expected.

 

The Sun Conjunct Saturn offers stability with reaching your goals and life objectives but not without some work.  It will not come easily but stable potential is certainly there.  This can work on an inner level as well.  You may find that you are reviewing yourself from a deeper understanding, especially when Neptune and Saturn are in conjunction with one another. 

 

If you are looking for recognition with business enterprises, Saturn can help you with this.  Your superiors may realize that you have been working hard towards goals and making progress. They may also realize that your accomplishments were not easily obtainable.  Potential promotions are in place, but other indicators in the chart would have to agree. This will be quite likely if there are other indicators especially with the MC. Remember an ongoing consistent effort is required. This will not fall into your lap.

 

Neptune is tied to higher realms and in most cases not linked to earthly type opportunities.  They are reflected in spiritual advancement, heightened enlightenment and growth and understanding in the path that leads to these.  You may receive inner guidance, or guidance from those you trust.  Following through can lead to great achievements or colossal steps forwards getting closer to your goals if your goals include enlightenment.

 

Neptune can also have to do with talents in acting, musical abilities, theater and the performing arts, including painting, and the ability to capture life in these works. 

 

Aspects to Sun in Aries 2026 can enhance inspiration, enlightenment, and earth matters that require integrity and perseverance.  Happy solar return to our Arian readers.

SUN IN ARIES 2026

On March 20, 2026, the Sun moves into the sign of Aries, which is a cardinal, fire sign. 

 

We are leaving the Sun sign of Pisces, the energy of which is to try to maintain a gentle, passive approach to life, by giving, serving and removing themselves from anything in life that could be termed aggressive. 

 

Now entering this new sun sign, Aries is a much more formidable sign, linked to courage, stamina, aggressive personal pursuits and a fiery temperament. 

 

This is not to say that all Ariens carry these traits as the rest of the chart must be studied to get a full picture of any individual. Anyone with Sun in Aries, however, will carry some of these powerful influences in their personality. 

 

Some Aries can even be rather self-centered, while others that are more advanced in their personal understanding know that before they can achieve what they set out to do even if to help others, they need to look after their own needs first.

 

As mentioned, Aries is a fire sign, meaning they are progressive, propelling themselves forward often in bold unobstructed manners, self-sufficient, energetic, forceful, often generous and giving to those they deem deserve this and they can be single-minded. 

 

Aries approach life’s circumstances with vigor, action and they are not overly concerned about making mistakes in their push for achievement as mistakes are simply lessons for moving forward. 

 

Aries individuals will stand by you when needed, but don’t cross them as they can let you go in a moment’s notice and will not look back.  They are the fighters of the Zodiac – they fight for their rights and will also fight for a cause. Many Ariens stand up for the underdog. 

 

Aries people are the first to rush in and often work towards building a business that offers little stability in the beginning, but with the right management and time and focus, they can pursue their objectives and often succeed.  They know they make mistakes but can easily rise again after a stumble or fall. 

 

Ariens will not forget a helping hand and will also not forget to repay this with plenty of assistance and advice.  They believe that they know what is best and pursue this relentlessly. 

 

Some Ariens will listen to advice, especially from those with experience, but many others can push forward because of their own personal belief in themselves.

 

Aries individuals can be counted on in most cases, but they also tend to shift direction on a moment’s notice.  They are willing to put forth the extra effort but would like to see results immediately, if possible. 

 

Patience is not their strong point and moving slowly is almost impossible. When they control their pace and learn from their mistakes, they often succeed in their endeavors.

JUPITER CONJUNCT NATAL SATURN

Jupiter and Saturn represent completely different energies. 

 

Jupiter has to do with optimism, general good fortune, luck, expansion and growth.  In many cases Jupiter brings good fortune without much dedicated work.

 

Saturn, on the other hand, has to do with conservatism, restraints, structure and limitations and suggests hard work with a disciplined effort.  Saturn can bring on worry and anxiety due to its energies. 

 

When you mix the two energies together (Conjunctions merge energies), there is quite the push and pull when it comes to moving forward.  Optimism and pessimism join forces. One suggests that things are on the up turn while the other suggests that careful planning and likely delays or shortfalls can occur.  There would be worries that any form of push may not prove to be beneficial or that more work may be needed to reach a viable and resourceful outcome.

 

The house position will indicate what area of life is affected.  If, for example, you are planning to invest in a home or property and perhaps you are having to put out a lot of savings to see this plan through, the fourth house is likely involved.  In this case, perhaps Jupiter’s plan is to buy something that Saturn would push is much more than what is needed.  The financial outlay may be risky and perhaps you will need to look at something a little more practicable.   

 

In this particular case, check to see if there are natal or transiting aspects coming from either the second house of finances or the eighth house of shared resources that can either assist in this situation or hinder the potential for success.  With natal Jupiter being well aspected in the birth chart, this will help the situation, as would a well aspected natal Saturn, for that matter.  The overall condition and potential in the birth chart should always be applied before making any rash judgements or decisions.

 

You might still want to move ahead with your plans but make sure that everything is in order before you jump into action.  Take your time, be realistic, do your due diligence and remember this is a long-term investment in this example.  Also, do not let anything stand in the way of your purchase (in our example) if things are in proper, and you are at the right place and time to do so.  Use your judgement and if Mercury is impaired by poor aspect, especially by Neptune, then make sure you are seeing things as they are and not as you might wish them to be.

 

Transiting Jupiter conjunct natal Saturn offers expansion and growth but Saturn insists that  you are realistic with your goals and that you do your due diligence to build a solid foundation.
