Life will happen, no matter what, and we can only do what we can in the process.  We will experience challenging conditions from time to time, but we will also experience wonderful, breathtaking experiences as well. 

 

Our attitude towards all of our life events is what matters.  Life will still happen and we must except the lessons required. We can make the ride enjoyable (at the very least less stressful) with an exuberance to learn. We lessen the friction by doing so.

 

So onward we march with each segment, each lesson in our lives.  We work our way through adversity when it confronts us and maneuver our way forward.  We gain strength from these experiences and learn from our mistakes, if there is such a thing.  Perhaps, it’s all meant to be and there are no mistakes along the way!! 

 

Our road is unique to us. Have faith in the process and live your life to the fullest.  Even in the darkest moments there is an opportunity to grow and move forward. You are much stronger than you think.  Believe this, know this!  Learn the lessons well and enjoy the ride!

VIRGO NEW MOON 2026

We will experience a New Moon on September 10, 2026 in the sign of Virgo at 18°. 

 

For this New Moon to have an impact on your birth chart (Natal Chart), you will need to have a planet or angle within 3° either by Conjunction to this placement or in Opposition.  The other major aspects do carry some significance but they are not as influential as these two aspects.

THE ASCENDANT PERSONALITY

TRANSITING URANUS, NEPTUNE AND PLUTO

Transiting Uranus is Trine Transiting Pluto, and Sextile Transiting Neptune. 

 

All three planets are in the early degrees of the respective signs they are in.  Those individuals with planets in direct contact (Conjunction to one of these planets) will be influenced by the energies.  These planets remain in close proximity to each other by degree for some time yet to come. This can push us to worry and be anxious.  It truly helps to have a guiding principle like a strong Saturn in place to help clear things up and provide clarity and the potential for adding stability to the equation.

 

Pluto, the power agent of transformation and regeneration, brings with it potential power struggles (ego interruption) often suggesting an end of things to offer something new and to take us to where we need to be.  Pluto transforms life situation and there are no half measures when we speak of its energies of change.  Fighting against change only makes things worse.  We are better off swimming with the current rather than fighting the waves of change that will eventually take us deeper into ourselves and open doors that might otherwise have been closed.

 

These three power planets affecting our charts at the same time from different areas of our charts (the houses) will most certainly bring about revelations which take place and push us into our future required path. 

 

In most cases the energies will be felt 3° prior to being exact and will begin dissipating 2° after they contact any planets or angles within our chart.  The whole process should take approximately two years. When transiting Uranus, Neptune and Pluto all contact your chart, we should work with the energies & enjoy the transition with anticipation of a new needed path.

LUNAR ECLIPSE AUGUST 2026

The Lunar eclipse on August 28, 2026, (Full Moon) is in the sign of Pisces at 4°. 

 

The penumbral eclipse begins at 9:24 p.m. EDT on August 27, will reach its peak at 12:12 a.m. EDT on August 28 and the penumbral eclipse ends: 3:02 a.m. EDT.

 

Lunar eclipses are emotional in nature however when in Pisces, this will be an even more emotionally impacted period.  Those primarily affected by this positioning will either have a planet or point in their Natal Chart within orb of this Lunar Eclipse by Square, Opposition and/or Conjunction. 

 

Much will depend on which planets are involved and the houses being affected. 

 

This event often includes a time when something come to a head from an emotional perspective and either an ending is needed or a massive change must take place.

ASPECTS TO SUN IN VIRGO 2026, Part II

It should be noted that those with their Sun in the middle to later degrees of Virgo will not be influenced by the three outer planets the way that those in the beginning degrees will be influenced as stated in yesterday’s article. 

 

Those with their Sun in the final degrees of Virgo will, however, be under the influence of these three outer planets (Uranus, Neptune and Pluto) but will have the following aspects in place:  Uranus, which is in Gemini, will make a Trine, Neptune, which is in Aries, will make an Opposition and Pluto, which is in Aquarius, will make a Trine. The two Trines together with the Sun’s position will make a Grand Trine which is strong but will be out of element.

 

The energies will be flowing well but you will also have to take into consideration the houses involved as these will affect the areas of life concerned. 

 

The Opposition often indicates that someone else might trigger the action/event but it is not always in a pleasant manner.  What they are trying to accomplish may be a little vague or it may make you uncertain of which direction you should take.

 

Those with their natal Sun in the mid-degrees should check to see if they have any minor aspects from these transiting planets to their Natal Sun.  If there are no minor aspects, those in the mid degrees of Virgo would have to check what influence and aspects these three transiting outer planets will have on the rest of the natal chart. 

 

There is always something happening within the framework of our natal chart.  It is of extreme importance to always look at the bigger picture of what the transits are doing in the natal chart.

 

The transit of the inner planets move very quickly but may still have a minor influence on your chart. These, however, likely will be quite fleeting.

ASPECTS FOR SUN IN VIRGO 2026

On August 19, 2026, we posted an article on Sun in Virgo.  https://www.holmastrology.com/post/sun-in-virgo-2026  Today, we will focus on the upcoming aspects that will be affecting those with their Sun in Virgo.

 

Pluto, Neptune and Uranus are in close proximity by degrees to one another. These planets will affect not only those born with their Sun in Virgo but also all other sun signs.  The aspects, however, will be different depending on which sign your Sun is in.  Since we are just focusing on Virgo in this article, Pluto in Aquarius will be making Quincunx also known as an inconjunct to those with their Sun in the early degrees of Virgo.

 

The inconjunct is about making adjustments and is considered a challenging aspect.  Although it is considered a major aspect, the orb of influence is only 5-7° while other major aspects are known to have up to a 10° orb of influence. 

 

Pluto suggests that it is time to adjust the way you use your power and the influence this might have on your goals in life. Perhaps on a more personal level, it may be affecting the way you use your power and aggressive characteristics of yourself. 

 

A typical Virgo would use their personal power to influence life in order to put things in their proper place.  Are you pushing too hard to present your knowledge and perhaps not listening enough? 

 

Should you step back and not be so aggressive in wanting others to know that you are right?

In many cases, the Yod is considered a very challenging aspect where you need to confront a crisis, find your center and work your way through this adversity.  Neptune, in this case, suggests that the adjustment necessary is difficult to clearly understand and may push you deep into your life’s path to figure out what is needed.  Is there a power struggle?

What do you need to do to center yourself to resolve the issue at hand?

 

Uranus is in Gemini and will be making a Square to those born with their Sun in the early degrees of Virgo.  Change is often part of what Uranus is about.  There are alternatives to what you might want to do to create the required change, but you have most likely been getting little hints of this and you are being pushed in a certain direction. 

 

Pluto suggests that something must come to an end for something new to begin.  Uranus suggests that what was in place is no longer suitable for your evolutionary quest.  Squares are very difficult, but they push us to work towards ending the conflict whatever that may be.  The resolution may be unconventional, somewhat erratic and others may not have known that this change was coming. Nonetheless a change is needed. 

 

Sun in Virgo should always search for a peaceful resolution, without ego taking hold and although the unknown might be part of the picture, a part of you knows what the best approach and route is to take.

SUN IN VIRGO 2026

The Sun moves into the sign of Virgo on August 22, 2026. 

 

If your Sun is between 1” and 9° 59” in the sign of Virgo, you are considered a double Virgo.  If your Sun is between 10° and 19° 59” Virgo, you are a Virgo and will have some Capricorn tendencies, and if your Sun is between 20° and 29° 59” Virgo, you are in the 3^rd decan (or decanate) and will also have some Taurus tendencies.  These are the three decans of Virgo (as with all signs) and the house placement of your Sun will also be influenced by the natural ruler of the house in which it resides.
