PLUTO IN TRANSIT

Pluto’s abilities to transform and regenerate are highlighted as it travels through the birth chart.  There is nothing subtle about Pluto’s influence and you are quite aware that something needs to be changed or altering.  Pluto’s energies are abrupt and disruptive and the changes that Pluto is putting on the table need to be addressed and then transformed so that life fits you more appropriately.  When Pluto is finished transiting through a house or linking up with a planetary placement, its energies will have significantly changed things and usually in a very permanent manner.

Pluto is sometimes associated with physical death and is usually activated in the chart in some way when someone in our lives passes over.  When activated, most times, it does not always mean literal death, but it does mean that a condition or life element is no longer suitable for you and needs to end to being a birth of something new.  Therefore, Pluto does signify the death or end of a situation and then the beginning of something new.  Pluto, as mentioned, is not subtle in its release and sometimes you have opportunities to make these changes and other times, they just happen with little or no control from you.

If Pluto links up with Mars or Uranus, you actually need to be careful and make sure that you do not put yourself in dangers situations.  If you have a square between these planets there will be challenging conditions and they come at you for a reason.  You will have to watch for arguments and aggressive behaviour especially if Mars is concerned and particularly if the aspect is an opposition.  The trine and sextile are not as aggressive and usually suggest transformation at a high level.  Although somewhat challenging to accept, the energies resulting from the trine and sextile will benefit you in the long haul. 

Uranus is more unpredictable and this is the one you need to watch out for when aspecting Pluto .  You will have to be attentive when, for example, driving a motorized vehicle.  Operate with more care than normal and never rush.  Do not go out and drive in fits of anger either.  Take the time to settle yourself down before driving. 

If you are confronted by an aggressive individual, do not put up a fight unless you have no choice.  Whenever possible, walk away from confrontation during such aspects.

These examples are extreme cases and will also involve other planets making aspects that suggest the same before such energies will be released in such a powerful way.  There needs to be at least 3 aspects in a chart, each saying the same thing, before events can take place and much depends on the other planets involved and the angles they are making. 

The aspects to Pluto, however, can be rather tumultuous experiences, and you will learn a lot from them. 

In general, we learn much more from adverse life conditions than the mild, easy flow experiences.  The standout experiences seem to be our natural way of learning.  We will have to spend a little time meditating on how the energies can be released in a more gentle yet positive manner.

SURRENDER

Letting go of the outcome is not giving up or releasing your control.  We never lose control of our attitude and reaction to life’s events.  We are always devising ways to reach the summit of our life’s quest.  We are not at the mercy of life.  We are never in a situation where we are forced to give up unless of course, we choose to do so.

Surrender or allowance is an antidote to despair.  Quite the opposite of what many of us may think.  By allowing life lessons to teach us instead of going down kicking and screaming and fighting a lesson that we must learn, we release the struggle.  At the very least we eliminate some stress; at best, we can actually enjoy the lesson.  Our choices are to take the route easily traversed or to take the road that takes extreme effort to reach the end.   Which road do you prefer to take? 

Surrender means to accept what life sends your way and use what is at hand.  It is certainly not to releasing all responsibility.  The direction we take in life is largely in our hands.  We are constantly manifesting with our every thought, our every action.  

With letting go and accepting with the acknowledgement that the course has been set in motion and life will unfold the way it should, it is easier to understand that by letting go we accept the inevitable and make the journey much easier.  We can consciously move ahead with our quest making plans and alterations along the way.  Once life begins to unfold accordingly, we can let go of the outcome.  The final outcome unfolds as it should but certainly not always as we plan.  Our investment in our own personal creation is irreplaceable but openness to faith and guidance by spirit and source is immeasurable.

Since we are spirit currently in the form of a human expression and source is our link to totality, we are in control of the final outcome even when we fail to recognize this.  Letting go of the outcome brings the perfect outcome our way.

A POST FOR HALLOWE’EN

We were asked what type of influence the planets would have on us for today, Hallowe’en.  Our review of the energies is with adults in mind as opposed to being from a perspective of their influences for children. 

The outer planets are the planets that have greater and lasting effects on us but since we are looking at one day in particular, we are looking more closely at the inner planets as well as the Moon. 

The Sun, Moon and Mercury are all in the sign of Scorpio.  This in itself is quite significant as we might have a greater flexibility in getting in touch with the occult and psychic realms of experience. 

Mercury would enhance our thinking and creative approach in the psychic realms and push us to think on a deeper level, perhaps reaching within.  It is believed that the door or veil is more open or more thin during this period and that we are more receptive to information from the other side.  Scorpio’s energy is insistent on reaching below the surface.  If we were to attempt to connect with source and the general feelings brought on by the vibrations carried over from our youth when we were open and less “programmed”, we could connect to ingrained information that may be trying to surface.  This knowing may become more accessible for us now under these influences.

The Moon, which is also in Scorpio today, would open the channels to psychic and occult understanding through our instincts and emotional interactions with spirit.  Our intuition and feelings would be enhanced and this should collaborate with the internal information we are receiving as a result of Mercury’s influence.  Psychic understanding and intuition are tied very closely to our emotions as they are connected through this interaction with the Moon.

With the Sun in Scorpio, we may be able to get in contact with our higher selves and gain insight into our own personal connection with source.  The Astrological Sun is tied to our identity and who we are on a deep level of understanding.  Perhaps with the channels being open today more than normal, we can make a greater connection with our true selves.  Perhaps for the few who are more aware of their aligning with source, there might even be a shift of sorts that could take place.

At the same time, interestingly enough, Neptune is in opposition to the North Node.  This would be considered the most significant of all the connections mentioned.  With the North Node tied to our destiny and the South Node tied to our past, our past ties to mysticism could be highly activated during this time, as the South Node would be conjunct Neptune.  The South Node is relevant to where we have come from and what we have brought with us into this life; Interesting now that the nodes are being activated from Neptune, the planet of mystical insight, spiritual awakening and psychic inclinations.  Because Neptune is in opposition to the North Node, we would do well to sit and talk openly with anyone who shares our personal views and insight to see what they have to say.  Much could be learned from them right now.  The connection between the Nodes and Neptune will carry on late into November and even early into December.  As a result, this transit is much longer lasting than the ones discussed above and therefore this transit is much more significant and influencial.

Enjoy Hallowe’en, Samhain (or however you may celebrate this day) and the energies it brings.  This time is not just for our children.  It hold significance for all of us.

NEW MOON IN SCORPIO

On Sunday, October 30, 2016, we will have a New Moon in the sign of Scorpio at 7 degrees. 

As mentioned in previous posts, the New Moon offers energies conducive of new growth.  Plant the seeds of your plans so that you can harvest your efforts in the future, particularly under the influence of the Full moon in Scorpio in six months from now (May 10, 2017).  We not only plant the seeds under the New Moon but we also germinate them by acting on our ambitions and instincts to move ahead in our endeavours.

To utilize the full benefits of this Scorpio New Moon’s energies, we have to understand the energies of Scorpio.  Scorpio is a deep and reflective sign, so not only should we delve deep into our own subconscious, we actually need to bring to the surface anything deep within that needs purging or transforming.  This could include anything of a sexual nature as part of Scorpio’s energies can be sexual in nature.  Scorpio’s energies are driven to uncover anything within us that has held us back from maturing or moving into the next level of understanding in our lives as well as our connection to our own spirituality.

Scorpio is strongly connected to the occult and mystical practice.  Scorpio wants to uncover all the mysteries that these avenues hold.  We can unfold or release these energies into positive directions during this moon phase and open the channels or re-awaken these channels within if they have been blocked in any way.  In general, if any of these passages have been blocked, we ourselves have blocked them.  Dig deep to understand why. 

Is there a part of us that is afraid of what we might uncover within ourselves?  Is there a part of us that is negatively influenced by Hollywood with all of the movies associating spirit and mysticism with dark energy?  Spirit and mysticism are considered Scorpio connections and the general public unfortunately associate dark matters with Scorpio. 

If you were to examine the energies of Scorpio under a clear light, you would find that Scorpio searches for truth and nothing more.  Negative energies are not tied to truth as they are a fabrication of the ego which thrives on fear based ideas.

The energies of this Scorpio New Moon are actually a time when we can break new ground and begin anew with insight that is at a much higher level than normally.  We are capable of clear understanding of our inner reflections and we can analyse these in depth so that we can rise above any intrusions that have held us back. 

This is especially true due to the link to transiting Neptune which is in trine to this New Moon’s position.  Neptune is all about mystical unfolding and enlightenment.  Neptune brings about psychic potential and the New Moon can unlock these channels that are within each of us.  For those already open to these energies, this New Moon cycle can open even more doors that were previously closed or doors we were reluctant to walk through.

Mercury is in conjunction to the New Moon.   Mercury is like a chameleon as it adapts and takes on the energies of other planets that it is in touch with.  Mercury helps us assimilate what is being suggested and defines things for us.  Mercury is the planet of the mind and the mind will be highly stimulated during this period which allows us to make sense of everything on a very deep level.

It is time to purge all those things that are not truly you so that we can understand who we are at the core.  We can move forward in leaps through true understanding and by acknowledging our capabilities and transform our lives through self-reflection.  Get rid of unwanted energies that hold us back. 

Pluto, one of the ruling planets of Scorpio, is related to death but this is not necessarily literal.  It usually represents the death of a situation....the ending of things and a birth of something new.  This is what these energies are now implying.

LUCK & OUR ATTITUDE

Do you think of yourself as lucky? 

There is no question why some people never seem to win in life.  These people truly believe that they are not winners.  How can we expect to win at anything in life if this is our attitude?  Some people do not recognize their attitudes as reinforcing negativity and others do not realize that they allow their thoughts to run in this direction.  Through their attitudes and focus, they close the door to opportunities and squash the potential of positive possibilities.  It is their belief structure or focus and their expectations that hold them back.  Our lives reflect what we put out, so if our thoughts are focused on “I never win anything”, “I’m a looser”, “It will never happen to me”, our lives will reflect these thoughts. 

If you manipulate your thoughts and force yourself to focus on what you have in life instead of what is missing, you open the door to abundance.  What you believe is possible for you is what will come your way.  Opportunity is presented to those who recognize that anticipation and gratitude presents more of the same.  It simply will not materialize unless you open that door and raise your expectations and vibration to one of gratitude and plenty. 

We mold our lives through our thoughts, our expectations and our belief structure.  We can refocus our concentration anytime as long as we are aware of our thoughts.  How often have you stated, “Money doesn’t grow on trees!”, “I can’t do that!”, “What is wrong with me?”, “I’ll never amount to anything!”, “Oh, I am stupid!” and the list goes on.  If we are going to program ourselves, why would we not program ourselves positively?  Our line of thinking and belief structure slowly manifests over time whether we are aware of it or not.

Life events will happen with or without our permission but if we focus on the positive outcomes of even the most difficult lessons or events, we can grow immensely from these experiences.  It has been said that we have already chosen our lessons before we arrived here.  It is suggested then, for example, if we were to fall ill, rather than feel sorry for ourselves, we should focus on healing and becoming well again.  Visualizations of perfect health, for example, is a perfect starting point to healing. 

We set things in motion by our belief structures along the way.  We gradually mold our lives by our thoughts and expectations.  We can make this a positive experience or a less than desirable one.  Life may dictate events, whether preplanned or not, but we have a choice as to how we will handle each of these situations through our attitude.

What do you focus on?  Do you believe in yourself?  Luck is only a belief.  Take control of your destiny and create a life filled with promise and abundance of whatever is important to you.

TRANSITING NODES THROUGH THE BIRTH CHART

The transiting Nodes take 18 months to move through all of the signs of the zodiac.  Depending on the astrological house system you are using, it will take approximately 1 ½ months to move through a house or sign. 

As houses depict areas of life, the nodes moving through a house will define areas of life where we are gaining knowledge.  We get a deeper understanding of the areas of life governed by the house position of the nodes. 

Remember that there are two nodes; a North and South node and they are always in opposition (opposite) to one another so both houses will be affected by our nodes.

The Nodes are attached to our soul’s mission and we have come to experience life more fully in each area of life that the nodes are influencing.  In general we are here to serve on one level or another and although the Nodes definitely teach us valuable lessons in life, once learned and understood, we can offer up information and assistance to those that are interested to assist them in whatever way we can. 

The nodes are tied to our destiny so when we are experiencing our nodes in action, stimulated through house contact and planetary links, we have obligations to uphold.  Remember we came into this life to fulfill our life’s goals which are closely linked to the nodal positions at birth.  We have to give a little of ourselves in order to complete our soul’s requirements, as we have much to offer.  Remember your higher connection to yourself from a spiritual standpoint and the earthly measures we take in order to get one step closer to our higher purpose.  We have come to serve a purpose and to learn lessons through experience and to add to the greater whole.

We are at the helm of our experiences but often when the nodes are under hard aspect, or activated through transit, we may feel as though we are at the mercy of life’s events and life seems to have control over us.  This is when we have to use our inner guidance, our spirit guides, our astrology charts or those wise individuals that walk this journey with us to work through life’s events.  Many times the overall plan behind our experiences may escape us consciously and we have to have faith in the process and recognize that there is something much bigger than what is obvious to us in human form.

 

The North Node always pointing us towards our objectives.  When the North Node is transiting a point in our chart, it asks us to go deep into our lesson.  It asks us to think about what we might want to do or where we might want to address change or gain through experience.  The North node operates in the same fashion as Jupiter, so it offers us opportunities and provides us with good luck and generally makes us happy and more content in our life’s search.

The South Node acts in similar ways to the planet Saturn. The South Node wants us to pay attention to what can be learned through the potential rough spots that we may encounter along the way.  It offers lessons and responsibilities and makes us aware of our liabilities and makes us work on these areas of life which are in focus and the energies of the planets that are being activated through this contact.  Although we may have to sacrifice or let go of something, it also offers up chances for spiritual growth through these experiences and lessons well learned.  This knowledge will be used as our lives progress.

Remember to stay open to advice being offered from both nodes and use the energies of the North Node to facilitate growth in your life’s quest and use the energies and lessons of the South Node with caution and care but recognize the importance of what it is that is being said for your greater good.  All aspects regardless of which aspect it is has something important to give.  Leaving the door open to this understanding will allow the positive energies of all aspects to generate opportunities in our lives.
