The act of caring for others can be on many
different levels and can be appreciated by anyone regardless of age, gender, or
even physical distance. Nurturing is generally
a natural response, but before we can truly heal others we have to spend time and
focus on ourselves. Are we hanging on to
past events, words, lack of action? We
cannot overcome dis-ease until we acknowledge what is causing the lack of ease
in our lives, which more often than not can simply be our focus.
Most problems may appear to stem from a
specific traumatic incident in our life and it may have scarred us on a very
personal and deep level. No matter how traumatic
the incident may have been and who it may have been carried out by we
unknowingly injure ourselves by harboured the energies and our expression of
these experiences. We unknowingly can
own these events and make them our
own. When we face the issues and acknowledge
that we have made the chose to hold onto the energies, we can then move beyond
the barriers and move forward to shake these energies and ultimately travel
forward freely in our lives.
We have the power to heal all wounds but it
comes from focus and self love. We will
not find the solutions to our challenges from external force. Release is an action that comes from
within. Only we can release ourselves from
the grips of our experiences. We can
hold on to resentment and anger and allow is to flourish today or we can
release the anger so that it can remain in our past where it belongs. Forgiving is a large part of the solution,
but not just towards those that have mistreated us. Most importantly, we need to love ourselves enough
not to make someone else’s actions our own personal baggage. If the actions that caused our dis-ease are a
direct result of our own actions, we then can accept that those specific
actions were taken but again they are in the past and have nothing to do with
who we are today. Forgive and leave the
past in the past.
The only responsibility we have in this
moment is to allow forgiveness and this means to let go and not hold on waiting
for revenge or self punishment. These
reactions serve no purpose but to further feed the dis-ease.
As a witness to this with loved ones, there
is a part in most of us that wants to assist in their times of trouble. The recipients of our compassion however must
first want to help themselves and then to accept guidance and support. Unfortunately, there are people that embrace
issues in their lives as they feel these issues give them identity and even
though difficult, that way of life is familiar and comfortably uncomfortable. The unknown frightens some of us and it is
easier to stay within these conditions than to move beyond into the
unknown. Besides, issues and tough life
conditions, provide attention. As a
result, some people refuse to move beyond their focus and past conditions.
Healing can be done on many levels and
through positive focus and healing thoughts and energy, we can assist ourselves
or others who need help healing. Do not
be dismayed if you do not see immediate results. We are all connected on some level. We all subconsciously share feelings,
thoughts and energy......positive energy and thoughts that can assist those who
appreciate the help.
Make sure that self-healing is a
priority. We can more readily help
others when we are in a positive and healthy state. Allow and focus on loving
vibrations. If we all moved forward with
this, imagine the positive effects we could have on our world.
