The human race has flourished due to its ability to adapt.  We all adapt to our life conditions to survive.  To feel that it is necessary to adapt our persona to different situations in life, however, is unrelated to our physical survival.  This only serves to please others.  Through experience and self preservations many of us have learned that the only way we can feel perfect in our own skin is to wear it with confidence and pride.  After all, the best person we can be is the exact person we truly are. 

If you disapprove of a characteristic, you don’t have to own it.  See it for what it is and let it go.  It does not define you.  The energy of love within is the true energy of self.  All the rest are only learned characteristics. 

Let your true colours shine through (just as Cyndi Lauper once sang).  Be yourself.  You surely will be happy and comfortable with the outcome. 

Your life becomes a reflection of your thoughts and focus.  Encourage growth; focus on the positive and be grateful but most importantly be genuine to yourself!

SOLAR ECLIPSE AUGUST 21, 2017, PART II

On Wednesday, August 16 we reviewed the energies of the Solar Eclipse more focused on the USA as it is the country which will experience the solar eclipse directly.  Today we will look at it on a more personal level.

You will have to have a close look at where this eclipse falls in your birth (natal) chart (house position) to see what area of life will be affected.  You should also check to see if you have any planets close by angle to 28 degrees of Leo.  The energies of these bodies or angles (Ascendant/Midheaven) will be very relevant to how this Eclipse plays out in your life.  Remember eclipses are meant to create action and bring with them change, required change that over a period of time manifests and translates into something positive.  The number of hours that a Solar eclipses lasts translating into the same number of years that the energies will affect us.  (For your information, Lunar eclipses last in months the number of hours that they are in effect.)  As a result, anyone that is affected by the degree of this Leo Solar Eclipse will experience the energies for a total of approximately 2.5 years.

The closer a planet or angle falls to the degree of the Solar eclipse (28 Leo), the more powerful the influence in your life.  It is not wise to sit back waiting for an anticipated potential unfolding in your life, but be prepared and see how things naturally unfold over time.  Often you feel the energies begin to take effect before the eclipse event, and you already will feel what area of life might be highlighted.  Sometimes things happen out of the blue, but often we have inclinations as to what to expect.  The area of change is often a well-known fact and only needs stimulation to become activated.

Conjunctions (0 degrees) to this degree will be the most powerful and suggest an emphasis.  Square (90 degrees) aspects will indicate challenges and oppositions (180 degrees) usually suggest action as a result of other people.  Quincunx’s (150 degrees) suggest alterations are required, and you will have to make adjustments.  Trines (120 degrees) usually imply easy flow and opportunities, while sextiles (60 degrees) suggest being in the right place at the right time so that you can to take advantage of a situations and make something out of this.

If Saturn is involved in the equation, it usually suggests some challenging conditions and roadblocks or interferences with plans or life objectives.  These challenges can be testing grounds for further growth and you are actually building a foundation that will stand the test of time in the long haul.  If Uranus is involved it suggests change of conditions, sometimes erratic but always necessary change.  Uranus often indicate a breaking free of restrictions that may have held you back previous.  Mars implies aggressive action and forced movement, sometimes pointing towards anger or even violence.  Venus may suggest opportunities to gain financially or a new love.  Jupiter implies growth through higher learning and depending on other factors in the chart could suggest luck in obtaining benefits and opportunities.

It is possible to have a lot happening during the phase and duration of the Solar Eclipse.  It will certainly be interesting to see how it affects the United States and their leader. 

Much has been leading up to this time.  Don’t expect a magnitude of events to unfold and don’t waste any time focusing on possible disasters.  Always remain calm and have a positive outlook.  Center your thoughts on the positive outcomes that will follow.  

Do not ignore any challenging condition; work towards resolving them.  Avoid placing attention on what you feel is missing in life; rather focus on what you works in your life and always be appreciative of what life has provided you with.  Even the harsh events bring valuable lessons that foster growth and understanding over time.

DO NOT LOSE HOPE

Few, if any, of us will complete this journey without at one point or another experiencing some form of feelings of hopeless, and we may not know which way to turn.  There are many reasons why we reach this emotional point and the list of possibilities is endless.  If we sit to examine the exact cause of these feelings, we normally realize that where we heading or what we are experiencing simply does not fit (our expectations) where we would like to be going or what we prefer to be experiencing. 

What can be done under these circumstances?  Where do we turn? Who can we rely on?

In many cases, life seems to dictate.  The only thing we can do to alleviate the problem is to let go of the reigns, to release our need for full control.  Is doing this such a terrible thing?  Have you been in care and control of all of the things that have happened in your life this far? 

I believe that the destination is predetermined, how we arrive there is our choice.  We can make adjustments along the way to make the road smoother, but is sitting back and letting go a good choice?

In some way, even under the harshest conditions, life’s events help us to grow.  All lessons contain valuable information and growth for us.  These lessons may be taking place to push us in a new direction.  We may eventually understand that events can teach us how to be humble; to make us more aware of others, to make us aware of all of the gifts we are given in life or perhaps to help us to focus on the moment.  In reality we are never off track; however, sometimes it may appear (feel) that way.

Our journey never stops, even after death.  We know even through science that energy is perpetual. 

We can find peace in this moment.  Accept what is.  Walk willingly with the lessons instead of fighting the inevitable and have faith in the process. 

We are here to learn; be open but stay strong to your commitments.  There is always something new in store for us.  We are always on path.  We have the strength to overcome.  We will gain insight through our experiences.  Life can be a wonderful experience and every little detail is special and is worth experiencing (do not let your reactions and expectations to these experiences take away from the lessons).  Enjoy the ride, while living in the moment.

SOLAR ECLIPSE AUGUST 21, 2017, PART I

The solar eclipse which will occur on August 21, 2017 begins at approximately 1:10 pm and finishes at 3:49 pm EST.  It will have a lapse time of 2 hours and 39 minutes.  This solar eclipse is more fully visible in the United States and in particular from Oregon to South Carolina.  It is said that the area experiencing the greatest degree of totality will have the most profound effects.  Canada, in general, will see approximately 73 percent of this event. 

This eclipse has been names the “Great American Eclipse”.  I have read that the United States has not experienced a total solar eclipse since 1918.  Needless to say, this energy should be significant. 

In Toronto, the Solar Eclipse will peak at approximately 2:32 pm.  Please be sure to take the necessary precautions if viewing this phenomenon.  As most of us are aware, viewing the Sun directly can cause permanent eye damage.

This event is aligned with the star Regulus, which has been associated with world leaders and in mundane Astrology, this would indicate the leader of the United States, Donald Trump.  According to the birth data circulating, this eclipse falls on Donald Trump’s rising sign.  If the information on his birth time is accurate, this is quite interesting, to say the least.  According to the Astrologer and mystic Donna Woodwell, an eclipse is a reflection of what we already know and she suggests that it will be a crossroad for American history in the making.  This is yet to be verified.

Eclipses, throughout history have been associated with times of strife and they are said to bring with them change....needed change.  A therapeutic healing takes place through a new understanding often brought on through actual events or an inherent understanding which is processed on a psychic or intuitive level.  It should be understood that we are all connected and should consider each and every human beings as our brothers and sisters.  Each action taken by one individual affects every other individual on some level.  As a result, careful consideration should be taken before we act or react, particularly as a result of outside stimuli.  Our attitude and belief structure should always be aimed at the betterment of humanity as a whole not the opposite.

This eclipse occurs in the sign of Leo at 28 degree.  Leo’s (Lion or king of the jungle) energies are associates with being forthright, and are heartfelt.  The energies of Leo at times can be ego driven.  Leo aims for control of any given situations and can lead the way through acts of determination, a strong push for success and a never-ending pursuit to assist others through their control.  Leo can be demanding although selfless in its nature.  It can also be relentless and driven as it is a fire sign which is enveloped with enthusiasm.  Leo wants recognition for all its hard work and enjoys appreciation.  Many have somewhat define President Donald Trump accordingly.  His primary drive appears to be to achieve power and control at the very least.

TRIVIAL BATTLES

Some individuals, when we feel quite comfortable with their way of living, could tend to push their way of thinking on others.  Many of us, with this comfort, express ourselves more frequently with ease. 

No one want to be easily led astray by others but we certainly do not want to dictate to others how they should be living their lives.  If we find ourselves dictating, we should ask ourselves if this is a result of ego. 

Are the things we fight for, for the benefit of our ego?  Are we trying to achieve something in order to assist or to dominate?  There can sometimes be a fine line and we regularly have to examine our true motives.

If we frequently fight battles to prove that we are right, we must ask ourselves why we feel compelled to prove we are.  Is this ego (either through the feeling of superiority or as a result of lacking confidence)?  If ego is taken out of the equation, why is it necessary to prove you are right?  If this is truth for you, does it matter what others think?  Do we have to be right?  Are we open to learn?  Is it really that important to be right?  What purpose does it serve to stringently stick to a thought and as a result, be closed to other possibilities?  How does this help our growth?

Most battles of the minds are staged by ego.  Needing to be right is a need of ego but not of the higher self.  Ego is reluctant to let go. 

Does proving yourself to be right change who you know yourself to be? 

Will winning that final battle prove anything of importance in your growth? 

Most arguments are a difference of opinion and in the bigger picture, opinions are quite trivial. 

What are you able to learn when you let go? 

What are you learning when you persist and insist? 

We are not suggesting that you allow others to stifle who you are.  Some things are worth fighting for but many are not.

JUPITER SEXTILE SATURN (AUGUST/SEPTEMBER 2017)

Transiting Jupiter and Saturn are in sextile to one another for all of August and September, 2017.  They will be very tight, (within one degree) from August 22 to September 2, 2017.  Those with natal Planets in and around the 21^st degree, especially in the signs of Libra or Sagittarius will be powerfully experiencing these planetary links.  Transiting Jupiter is in the sign of Libra and transiting Saturn is in the sign of Sagittarius.

Sextiles are considered fortunate aspects, although somewhat diffused when related to Saturn.  Saturn tends to restrict the flow of good luck and prosperity that is often linked with Jupiter.  It may restrict these energies to a certain degree, but in return for the positive reinforcing energies of Jupiter, the energies ask that you pursue the path that you may be following without reluctance or fear of failure or shortcomings.  Saturn will insist on diligence and will push you towards hard work.  Saturn’s energy wants an eye for details and insists that you not miss any steps along the way in order to achieve the best possible results.

Saturn and Jupiter together can make you a little reluctant in your pursuits and suggests that there may be some stumbling blocks in achieving your objectives.  It probably won’t be easy and you may worry about possible failure or falling short but let this go.  You should take advantage of the opportunities at hand and the promise of growth and expansion (with some effort on your part) with the potential of becoming something worthwhile.

This transit often is related to business and personal pursuits, but it can vary from one individual to the next as much depends on the houses involved and the aspects between these two giants in the personal astrology birth chart.  The full birth chart always tells the story.

Jupiter is linked to spirituality and higher principles of learning as well as opportunities for growth in religious teachings, spirituality and intellectual understandings.  What you experience during this transit is much more reliable than if the energies were somehow linked to, let’s say, Neptune or Uranus if they were in poor aspect in the birth chart.  What you work on now has a very real potential to amount to something worthwhile in time.  You must be flexible enough however to make adjustments to your plans along the way.  Long range objectives are what this energy influences, and you can work towards these types of goals.  This is not a quick release project or an answer that comes over night.  You will have to work hard to achieve your goals and also learn the art of patience with an understanding that “Rome was not built in a day”.  The energies you put into a project will be returned to you over time, but be sure to lay the foundation now under the influence of this aspect.
