GUIDING FORCES

There are times when our journey through life seems hindered.  We feel weighted down and overwhelmed by life events which we seem to have no control over. 

Do not view these as stressors or punishment; these are valuable lessons from which we can experience our greatest growth. 

Depending upon our attitude and focus, we may feel at the mercy of life and react in ways that do little but feel as though they send us backwards in our growth. 

What do we do to relieve these tensions and how can we find hope when everything seems too harsh to deal with especially from a rational point of view?

We are never alone.  There are many that walk this journey with us.  Some that accompany us are angels disguised in earthly bodies and there are also those that are not visible to most human eyes.  These are guiding forces beyond this earthly dimension that can always be relied on.  They are always available to us even when you feel completely alone.  If we quiet the mind, we can listen to that little bit of inspiration, that little piece of information spilling through.  Pay heed to those quiet messages for this information is powerful.

Our guides are with us always and although we walk our own road in this life, they often provide a guiding hand, especially in our darkest hours.  We can be so caught up in events and emotions that we do not notice the gentle persuasive nudges that points us towards the solution.  The guidance or assistance is never overwhelming or forceful.  As we learn to hear our guides, the voice can become much more direct, and we feel as though we certainly need to listen.  Even with these more clear messages, the delivery is still subtle in its expression.  It always comes through in a gentle fashion and love is in its expression.

Recognize that we are never alone.  Our guides will always be with us. 

We are one of the many sparks from the fire of life we call source.  If we are all sparks of this one fire, who truly then are our guides?

TECHNIQUES IN FORECASTING IN ASTROLOGY

Once we have built a good foundation of the fundamentals of Astrology with the signs, houses, and aspects, we can then begin to grasp the meanings behind the horoscope.  The birth chart is a precise tool which delineates the character traits of an individual.  There are unlimited combinations and variations found in a natal chart and this is what defines each of us as unique personalities.

Once you have a clear picture of what energies are suggestive of an individual for example from someone with Aries Sun and Capricorn Moon and how this person would differ from someone with Aquarius Sun and Cancer Moon (which is only a part of the process), we can move on to delineate a chart for upcoming transits and progressions.  Transits and progressions decipher what potential future events or areas of life will be affected by the passing of the planetary giants in our solar system (and through our chart).

We have to take into consideration all the planets but pay particular attention to the outer planets, especially Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto together with any inner planet that is in retrograde motion (appears to be moving backwards) for a prolonged period of time.  The inner planets move very quickly through the zodiac and under most conditions, usually only impact us for a very short period of time and have little to no lasting influence.

The outer planets and retrograde planets passing over sensitive points in our birth chart, particularly the Ascendant and the Midheaven, can have profound effects on our lives and these often point towards turning points or significant life events that can alter our perception or instigate action that changes our perceptions or can point towards changes in our lives.

The most powerful transit is a transiting planet conjuncting (0 to 10 degrees apart) a natal sensitive point or planetary body.  The energies of the planets merge and become one and under many conditions, they intensify their energies when they are linked together. 

The houses are areas of life and the transiting planet will intensify these points and may produce profound life altering effects especially when several transiting planets are saying something in the chart that is repeated.

The outer planets can be in an orb of influence for up to two to three years depending on when they go into retrograde motion and when they become direct again.  The first impact when a transiting planet makes an important aspect to another planet and makes a direct aspect to a natal point or planet will be the strongest.  An example of this might be Saturn conjunction Mars at 15 degree of Aries.  Both planets become direct when the transiting planet is exactly 15 degrees Aries (0 degrees difference).  This applies to squares, a 90 degree aspect, the opposition, a 180 degree aspect and all other major aspects, (the trine, sextile) as well as the minor aspects (semi-sextile, the semi-square and so forth).  The major aspects are more significant than the minor aspects and the challenging aspects usually promote transitional times in our lives.

There are several progressed aspects that are also important in determining factors in a chart and the potential for change in a person’s life.  We will look at the progressions at a later date.  The energies of a progression bring about more internal changes.  You will use the progressed Moon, transiting Mars as well as the transiting Sun and transiting Uranus as timers, as they often produce a push that activates the energies of the outer planets and often signify an event or a peak producing internal insight.

Today we have only touched on how to delineate potential life events as well as the timing as to when these events may unfold.  The area of life affected will be described by the houses involved in the transit or progression, as well as the natal placement of the transiting planets by aspect and house placement.

CREATIVE INSPIRATION

Some people may look at the title of this post “Creative Inspiration” and think to themselves, “I don’t have a creative bone in my body” or “I have nothing creatively significant to offer”. 

What is your definition of “Creative”? 

Many of us think of creativity as something artistic…. that it is a talent.  These talents can be learned and developed or they may be natural.   Some of us are born writers, some are born or learned musicians and some can just create beauty seemingly out of someone else’s garbage.

Creative inspiration suggests that something creative comes to the surface from hidden forces or outside influences.  Maybe someone sees something in you that you do not.  It does not have to be an “artistic” talent.  It might be the way you express yourself or the way you help others or the way you relate to people on a mental level.  Parents use their creative talents on a daily basis with their children.  They explore their child’s behaviour and develop ways to best assist their children or challenge their children to bigger and better things.

If you feel compelled to reach out to someone with advice or communication, this could be a creative inspiring moment.  What you express could plant a much needed seed of release for that individual.  Would you not consider that inspirational? 

Do not sell yourself short.  Pay attention to how you live your daily life.  See how you handle yourself in different circumstances.  Pay attention!  Get into the moment of your personal life.

We all have creative inspirations.  They just surfaces in different forms.  You have many creative moments throughout your life, simply because of who you are as an individual.  People come into your circle to hear what you have to say or to see the example you set.  It does not have to be a great artistic masterpiece but it might be profound for someone around you.  You do not know the full impact you have on other people’s lives. 

We are all beautifully unique.  Each of us has much to offer and experience moments of inspiration frequently but may not recognize them.

FULL MOON ARIES

The New Moon Cycle is the perfect time to plant seeds for your goals and the Full Moon Cycle offer the perfect energies to harvest your goals that were set during the New Moon Cycle (particularly the New Moon under the same sign six months prior).  The Full Moon is a perfect time to review all external events that have unfolded since the beginning of the New Moon.  This is a great cycle to keep you consistently setting new goals, reviewing life, reviewing the energies available and accomplishing your goals.  The Full Moon cycle is rarely a time for planning or orchestrating what you want to do.  It is much more conducive to reviewing your progress, tweaking your ideas so that you can enjoy an even larger harvest.  There will be times that you will realize that the seeds have been sown on baron lands and you may have to accept your losses.  You can always reseed under the next new moon. 

Our next Full Moon is in the sign of Aries at 12 degrees.  This Harvest Full Moon occurs on October 5, 2017.  With the Full Moon in the sign of Aries, the harvest often deals with something of a very personal nature and applies directly to us as an individual.  It is often something we decided to do for ourselves that we wished would bring self-satisfaction and a sense of accomplishment.  This could include starting our own business, changing jobs, moving locations, beginning a new relationship or ending one.

Locate which house the Full Moon is located in within your Astrology chart.  Also review any aspects from natal planets or angles to the Full Moon.  This will provide you with information as to what area of life is involved and how challenging or rewarding the experience will be.  The house represents the area of life which is being stimulated and the aspects to planets or important angles in your chart will define if these energies are working to exalt you or challenge you.

Aries’ energies focus on assertion and aggressive pursuits and will push you towards your objectives.  If the project at hand seems to have weak links then you will now be able to correct these weaknesses, make changes to your goals or let go of your goals completed and start anew.  Aries is very resilient and is able to pick up the pieces and begin again if necessary, but Aries tends to jump too early and does not always carry out the necessary work to lay a solid foundation.  You will have to weigh out the circumstances and give it your all before you make alternate plans or begin something new.

The Full Moon is not always the best time to begin anew and you would be far better waiting for the New Moon before planting new seeds.  As mentioned, the Full Moon is time to harvest.  You will reap whatever you have sown.   

Aries is a very “me first” placement.  It is important that you take into consideration what the effects of your action might have on others.  Aries can cause us to aggressively pursuit our goals and we are so focused that we forget how we or our actions might affect others.  Sometimes the ego can take control, and you may not listen to reason.  Be open to discussion with others.  Do not be closed minded or one-sided with your pursuits.  Listen to advice when others offer it.  You can learn a lot from others as they too have insights and information you may have overlooked.

There is one transiting aspect which is a semi-sextile to Neptune.  Semi-sextiles are often opportunistic aspects which point towards being in the right place at the right time.  Sometimes this works in magnificent ways.  Neptune’s energies can have wonderful mystical quality to them, especially when in Pisces.  This can be a time when mystical experiences occur, and you become involved or become further involved in mystical and psychic pursuits.  Take advantage of the energies that Neptune is supplying at this time.

TRAGIC EVENTS

We would like to send out our thoughts and prayers to everyone affected by the horrific event that took place in Las Vegas, Nevada.  The lack of understanding “why” only amplifies our inability to understand. 

We cannot allow ourselves to be engulfed in anger, hate and all other “reactive” emotions that go hand in hand with such an event.  We can be the light that is missing, the hope that is needed, the love that must grow.
