TRANSITING NEPTUNE TRINE NATAL MARS (March 2018)

During the month of March, 2018 Neptune is 13 and 14 degrees Pisces.  If you natal Mar is in a water sign (Scorpio or Cancer) you will be experiencing a trine between these two planets. 

Neptune while in transit has been known to make life somewhat challenging because of its tendency to make things unclear. 

Neptune has a veil of the mysterious attached to it and as a result, it can be quite alluring.  Neptune is also connected to the mystical and spiritual side of life. 

It is important not to get too carried away with the teachings of Neptune although it can also be quite inspirational.  Make absolute sure that you have one foot planted firmly on the ground during Neptune’s influence.  As fascinating and tempting as its energies might be (especially when connected to Mars which really wants to pursue whatever is in its focus), be sure that you wait until the fog clears before jumping into any situation. 

Neptune can erode away anything that once was once stable and reliable.  Neptune’s influence can take you down many roads of exploration although usually in a very subtle manner.  Quite often, the matters related to the astrological houses involved are subject to illusion and what once was is dissolved and no longer as it used to be. 

Mars has a tendency to push forward with its objectives.  Because this is usually a very selfless maneuver when connected to Neptune, you may find that you are drawn to the underdog and various types of charitable organizations.  This is a great time to dedicate some of your time to the sake of those less fortunate than yourself, even though Mars can be quite “I” oriented.

Since Neptune is connected to the metaphysical and occult teachings, this would be a great time to study these subjects.  You may have a strong drive to find out more and can learn valuable information through meditation, self-study and spirituality.  The avenues of expression are more open than under normal circumstances.  Applying yourself might bring forth great rewards and inspirational experiences into your life.  If this is an area of interest (even if this is something new or foreign to you), this is a fantastic time to open up to the energies that are being presented. 

Remember that this transit could stimulate the energies of Mars for up to 2-3 years and over this extended period, it can produce viable results and interesting experiences.

When calculating the influence of this aspect between transiting Neptune and natal Mars, please allow an orb of influence of up to 5 degrees approaching and 2 degrees separating.  Some individuals who are sensitive to Neptune’s energy may be aware of its influence prior to this orb of degree but most of us will feel Neptune moving out of influence 2 to 3degrees when separating.  It should be noted that we can experience this transit again if transiting Neptune should move into retrograde during its transit (movement through the zodiac).  Also check to see which house(s) Neptune is transiting while in aspect to determine the area of life being affected and also which house your natal Mars is located in.  One final check…..where is natal Neptune in your chart?  This will further define what is taking place in your life during this transit.

TRANSITING NEPTUNE CONJUNCT NATAL MERCURY

Neptune is in its own natural sign of Pisces. 

It energies currently work well to build a mystical practice for yourself.  Neptune is the planet of mystical insight, spiritual enlightenment and psychic perception. 

Currently, many individuals are experiencing a mystical unfolding that they have not experienced previously.   Much of what is taking place could be attributed to this alignment of Neptune in Pisces.  It will remain in its own sign until 2025, so we have ample time to unravel its subconscious undertones. 

Neptune is known as a planet of illusion so it is important to keep at least one foot on the ground, although imagination sparks many wondrous inspirational insights.  It is important to find a balance between the two as you can be led astray during Neptune’s visit in Pisces.  Much will depend on what aspects Neptune will be making in your natal chart as well as what house it is transiting. 

When connected to Mercury by conjunction and in the sign of Pisces, the mental processing may be highly linked to spiritual unfolding.  Mercury, the planet of the mind, needs stimulation to become reflective and it takes on the energies of anything that touches it.  Those with Mercury in Pisces in the birth chart are more than likely interconnected to the higher consciousness vibrating in our world currently and they will know that there is more to life than working, sleeping and eating.  Many of these individuals are of a higher conscious mind but some are also led astray by their imagination and desire for something deeper.  It is certainly acceptable to remain open to stimuli however, and this may be particularly so with these individuals currently under this influence.

This would be the time to become acquainted with your higher self and to find ways to connect to your loved-ones that have passed over, if this is what you wish to do with these energies. 

For those that have a creative streak, this is also a time for creative writing, working with music and dance.  The mind is open to receiving and can be used in spiritual work such as automatic writing under this influence.  Again, much depends on the placement of Neptune.  If Neptune is in the third house for example, this could be the time to write that creative novel or in the ninth house, it might be time to publish your work.

It is important not to get lost in this energy and remain focused.  It would be beneficial, if for example, you have a strong Saturn to offer some stability and rational.  Letting go is suggested.  As long as you are still connected to the earth plane, however, we do have to carry on in this material world.

YOUR LIFE’S CONDITIONS

When you look around in your immediate environment, ensure that during that scan you do not comparing yourself to others around you.

TRANSITING URANUS SEXTILE NATAL SUN (MINI FORECAST SUN IN PISCES)

As transiting Uranus moves into Taurus (May to October 2018 and returning in early 2019), Uranus will be making a sextile for those with their Sun in the early degrees of Pisces or late degrees of Aquarius.  We are focused on Uranus moving from zero to two degrees of Taurus, so those that have these Sun signs within an orb of up to 6 to 7 degrees will be affected by this sextile.  The closer your Sun is to this degree, the stronger the influence in your chart and life.

Sextiles are aspects of opportunity and its energy flowers almost as well as it would with the trine in Astrology.  The main difference between these two aspects is that with a sextile we usually have to work towards our objectives although sometimes they do fall into your lap.  With the trine’s influence, however, the energies com through easier and with little effort on your part.

Uranus in Taurus should offer some stability to the unpredictable natural energies of Uranus.  Uranus will be looking for some structure and reliability especially with transiting Saturn trine to this placement of Uranus for a good part of 2018.  Things should settle somewhat and with some diligent work ethics and constructive attitude, anyone with this influence may find that Uranus brings with it opportunities for advancement in whatever area of life is involved.  The areas of life will be determined by the house positions of transiting Uranus, transiting Saturn and your Natal Sun.  Check also the placement of your natal Uranus as this will provide some further details into how things might unfold.

Pisces is a very spiritual sign for many individuals with this Solar location in their birth chart, although the rest of the chart should also be studied for further definition.  This positioning of Uranus might bring forward some unpredictable insight into the working of your life and the mystery behind the magic of life’s experiences.  If you remain open to the energies trying to push their way through, much insight can be obtained in surprising ways.  It may be subtle or out in the open, but much depends on your own ability to immerse into the mystical side of your journey.

TRANSITING JUPITER SQUARE NATAL VENUS

From now (March, 2018) until November 2018, transiting Jupiter will be in the sign of Scorpio.  It will move from 14 degrees to the end of this sign.  It will spend some time in retrograde motion during this period.  If you allow a five degree orb approaching and a two degree orb of separation and your natal Venus is Leo or Aquarius from the 9 degree mark up to and including 2 degrees of either Virgo or Pisces), you will have this square affecting you over the suggested period of time.

Jupiter and Venus together known as the greater and lesser fortunate have much in common.  The energies of both of these planets harvest good fortune, bring happiness and love and also an appreciation for life’s magical moments. 

Jupiter expands everything it touches and Venus brings love and affection to the forefront.  Both planets speak of financial opportunities and both bring good luck and good times to the forefront.  We wait for these two planets to combine in the sky and make aspects to our natal positioning of planets and significant points.

The only potential problems with this combination (because this aspect we are discussing is a square which usually suggests some challenging conditions along with hurdles to overcome) is that if this is a time of love and romance (which is often suggested with Venus in the picture) you may blow things a little out of proportion.  As mentioned, Jupiter expands on things and also makes life fortunate and appealing when joined with Venus.  Make sure that what you are experiencing is as huge as it feels, particularly so if Neptune plays a part in this equation.

In general, affection and love are part of the process, but there are circumstances that the person you are attracted to can bring hardships.  This, however, should not stop you from pursuing the person of your dreams if they are who you believe them to be.  Be sure to see them for who they truly are and do not build on something that is created only in your mind.  You may find that you are a bit impulsive at this time, and jumping without proper forethought is not advised.

This can be a great time for socializing and just plain having fun.  Enjoy life; have fun with the energies at hand.  Some individuals will travel during this time and find love and affection during these travels.  Once again, see everything for what it truly is and understand that the relationships with many of those we meet under this aspect can be short lived especially if Uranus is involved in the equation.  You will probably enjoy the wide open spaces and the beauty that surrounds you, but you really do not need to travel to find this.  Often this is right in your own back yard. 

Watch for overspending and the feeling that nothing can go wrong.  It probably will not but never put yourself in situations where you leave yourself vulnerable (This is especially true if both Mars and Pluto are involved).
