TRANSITING PLUTO TRINE NATAL VENUS

This transit of Pluto to Venus can manifest in several ways.  First and usually foremost it speaks in terms of love and romance.  Second, it can speak of finances, material possessions and in some cases, artistic pursuits.

When it comes to love and romance, it often brings to the surface challenges within an existing relationship that can be dealt with and rectified.  It can deepen and bring more security to this relationship as issues are dealt with appropriately.  If there are problems, they usually stem from ego and power struggles.  They should be recognize as such and then can be faced and dealt with.  Sometimes the relationship seems to be running along perfectly and now under this influence it can become even deeper and more satisfying.  The relationship reaches a new level of understanding and commitment under this influence.

If this period brings a new relationship to fruition, it may be quite deep and personal with strong sexual energies.  The connection may seem familiar instinctively or the dialogue may be very deep and personal.  The potential for change and evolution for both individuals is heighten, and this applies to a new found relationship or a long standing one.  Pluto transforms, regenerates and speaks of personal change.  Its energies can make love relationships profound and with great substance.  In general, trine aspects speak of easy flow and a good rapport.  This combination brings positive outcomes to life.  This aspect is the one we are always waiting for.

If this transit of Pluto to Venus brings financial conditions into focus, then it often speaks of potential increases in this area. Money may be inherited or may come from a marriage or partnership, even through business associations.

Sometimes Venus speaks about creative potential and much recognition is possible at this time.  Things need to be brought to the surface and ways to express the creativity must be sought out, perhaps through exhibitions or shows, or through the meeting of influential people.  It is a time to push forward with creative insights and let others see what creativity is possible.

Feelings can be stimulated under this influence and with a little push, results can materialize.   It is important that anyone under this influence not sit back in reflection even though Pluto will make this easy to do.  It is important that they push forward and strive to reach their objectives in life, whether this is creative and/or romantic.  The energies are in a good place and they should be use to assist in uncovering what is being searched for.

CATERPILLAR TO BUTTERFLY

During the course of a lifetime we go through many different stages of development.  Some of these can be felt with extraordinary intensity.  One that jumps to mind is when we maneuver our way through puberty.  Each step, no matter how intense, is important to our overall growth and maturation. 

There are times when we seem to reach a crossroads and it can be quite apparent how pertinent this particular stage is to our development, as it is not a gradual change taking place over a longer period of time.

During these apparent stages, which may be few and far between, we seem to completely change and we no longer are the person we were just a short time prior.  The term “from a caterpillar to a butterfly” accurately defines the significance of these periodic events.  We go through a metamorphosis which dwarfs any other previous growth period. 

Many people suggest that they can feel these types of changes approaching, although they may not understand what specific change is actually coming. 

We are speaking of a massive evolutionary transformation which takes us one step closer to recognizing our unity with all.  For some, this can feel foreign and completely new.  Because of the newness some individuals are uncomfortable with the changes; others, however, are excited and exhilarated from the experience.  In reality, the changes and what we learn from them are not foreign place at all.  Subconsciously we understand and recognize the road that takes us there. 

Many of us after the changes have taken place recognize that we know this place well and we can feel ourselves aligning to information we have forgotten during this earthly experience.  The more we accept this new state, the more we understand.  We stop questioning and a wealth of information floods to us.  This is a time of awakening to our higher self.  This is a time when we begin to understand, at least in part, our path and purpose.

We shed our old skin and transform internally in many ways.  Who we thought we once were can now be left behind; however in reality we, on a higher level, have not changed.

TRANSITING MARS CONJUNCT PLUTO

Before we go into detail about the conjunction between transiting Mars and natal Pluto, it is important to understand that the transiting planet is the one pushing its energies onto the natal planet.  The two energies merge with one another but in this case, Mars will be the primary energy activating natal Pluto which in turn activates any link to Natal Pluto in the birth chart.  So, Mars activates the energies already in place, but in this case the primary focus will be found in the location of transiting Mars and natal Pluto by house position.

Mars’ energies have to do with aggressive force and activity.  Mars will push us forward and wants us to take action. 

Pluto deals with transformation and regeneration and Pluto will ask us to go deep within to reach an understanding, from the details uncovered, of what needs to change or be transformed. 

The energies of Mars, if not released, can become destructive and quite dynamic.  It is not easy to hold down a charging bull.  Mars is not known as a gentle persuader by any stretch of the imagination and will on its own accord push us forward.  In some cases, what Mars is insisting we pay attention to may be something we might not want to deal with, but as with all energies of all the planets, there is a positive outcome, although in this case, it may not be recognized during the push of activities.

Pluto wants us to dig deep and uncover the truth of the matter.  Mars and Pluto together has been known to create violent or ego intrusion.  Arguments often come to the surface and some type of interchange on some level is often prominent when the energies become stronger as they approach direct emphasizes (the degree becomes exact). 

Much can be determined by the house position of this conjunction in your chart.  This will be the area of life that is receiving these energies and this area of life will need review, deep reflection after which action will be required. 

For example, if this conjunction is found in the first house, personal change of direction is required.  This may include a relationship of significance especially if transiting Pluto is making an aspect to Venus or is transiting through the seventh house.  If the second house is where the conjunction is found then this interchange may involve finances, security issues or material comforts.  This could also involve joint finances, sexual overtones and legacies or inheritance issues.

In many cases some type of confrontation is associated with these planets when linked.  A favorable natal aspect between the two can produce more viable and a more positive energies, while a challenging aspect in the birth chart might be considered a warning signal.  Do not put yourself in harm’s way, or if you get into an argument, stay clear of aggressive interaction or if driving a vehicle, drive with care and let any challenging energy find its way out without driving your vehicle as an outlet for these energies.

 

This can be disruptive as mentioned but often positive things come to the surface eventually, although not overly pleasant to deal with while going through them.  However, we can move through challenging situations and work towards a favorable resolution that will be felt as time goes by.  In many cases due to the swift movement of Mars, this transit will be somewhat short lived, unless of course transiting Mars goes into retrograde during its transit with Pluto.  Under a retrograde influence, you may find that it is a drawn out situation which will come to you several times during the period of entanglement. 

Positive outcomes often prevail after some initial struggle and you will find that what takes place often brings about something that is required for the betterment of the future.

NORTH NODE IN ARIES

The North Node and the South Node are always opposite one another to the exact degree and minute in an Astrology chart. 

The North Node represents our current life’s path and the South Node has to do with a previous life significant to this one and although the characteristics of our South Node come natural to us and are comfortable, we are not to fall back and rely on these in this current life. 

The North Node in transit often puts us on our path and in some cases important people come into our life that help us move in this intended direction.

In this post we are focusing on the North Node in Aries.  The North Node in the sign of Aries points towards a life where we are to take the lead.  A life with the influence of NN in Aries is meant (for anyone with this combination) to live as their own driving force.  It is a life where they are meant to forge their own path, live their own life, be self-directed and although they may make mistakes along the way, often due to their exuberance for achievement (as they want to achieve no later than this moment) they can pick up the pieces and start again if necessary.

Although the North Node is known as uncharted territory and the path may be somewhat uncomfortable because of this not knowing, they will find that throughout life they will be pushed ahead and at times forced into action.  They may be placed in situations where they are to make the decisions and take a leading role.  They will, often times, learn to navigate through their life and in most cases they will achieve what they set out to do.  It may not be exactly as they had planned, but the course is set and they will move in their intended direction.  They live their life primarily for themselves and this is not to say that other people will not play a part, but these individuals will have to depend on themselves to achieve what they set out to do.

With the South Node in Libra, in a past life, they were very much in tune to what others needed and relationships were very important to them.  They were in search of balance and harmony and did many things for others; They may even have lived their life for others.  They have brought with them certain character traits that can be used to their advantage in this life.  Characteristics such as diplomacy, tact and a build in knowledge of what others need are second nature to them, and they have the ability to use these in their quests in this life.  Doing things justly and fairly will be important to these individual’s advancement in this life’s journey.

As life slowly unfolds, they will encounter paths in life that will lead them towards their ultimate goal which is one of self-sufficiency, self-reliance and with a driving force to succeed in whatever endeavors they might want to follow.  These individuals should move ahead with the intension of learning from their experiences and knowing that from a higher level they are being directed for their own ultimate good.  They should always push ahead in their endeavors, strive for achievement and know that they are on the path that will promote their needed growth.

The house position of the North Node will be the area of life that this calling will take place.  Use the house position as a guide to fulfill this requirement.  The house of the South Node will be the area of life that can help propel these individuals forward in the intended direction as their natural “knowhow” will come from this area.

ALIGNMENT WITH HEALING

Our ability to heal ourselves and our ability to help other heal is directly related to our connection to higher sources.  In reality we do not do the healing.  We are only the conduit that channels the energy and this energy works through us.  Remembering this can help us eliminate any ego attachments. 

During healing sessions, it is important, as the conduit, to see the individual receiving the healing energies as already healed (body, mind and spirit).  This also should be practices if the healing sessions are being practiced on you. 

If you are emotionally attached to the recipient, it is quite normal to feel concern for them but this can hinder the healing process.  We feel sympathy because of the situation at hand.  This would not be felt if the individual is already healed.  Love on the other hand can be shared at any time without any connotations that there is a lack of health.  Concern can actually add to the intensity of the situation.  We need to view ourselves (or others if we are the recipient of the energies) as though the body and/or mind is in perfect condition, without ailment and free of dis-ease.

As a healer, allow the healing energies to flow and focus whole heartedly on the “healed” energies.  Not only can we be an agent of healing energies and eventual positive health of another, but we can also be the gateway of healing for ourselves. 

As compassionate people, when someone is ill we feel for these individuals.  In many cases we feel sorry for others and worry about the outcome.  When we share these feelings and concerns with others about the individual in question, we draw less than desirable energies to them because of this focus.  We offer our “opinions” of what we see in front of us and transfer that information on to others.  Our intentions may be good, but we are accentuating the negative. 

It is important to remember that “being healed” is not always the best solution for the soul’s journey.  When we have completed our earthly journey, many of us use illness to help us let go and allow the transfer.  We “go home” so to speak, wiser and with the profound experience of a life well lived.  It is important to let go and allow the journey to be taken no matter where that journey may lead to.

And so the cycle continues.

NEW MOON IN SCORPIO, NOVEMBER 7, 2018

 The New Moon in Scorpio today (November 7, 2018) is exact at 11:02 am EST.  A New Moon is when the Sun and Moon line up with one another at the exact same degree.  This is known as a conjunction in Astrology and speaks of an emphasis and a merging of energies. 

The New Moon represents new beginnings.  It is considered a perfect time, not only to make plans but if you have been waiting for the right moment and the rest of the chart agrees, to also forge ahead with your plans.  This is a time of action.  Plant seeds of purpose in your garden of life, ones that you are willing to nurture right through to harvest.

Scorpio’s energies speak of an ability to go beneath the surface of matters and find the truth of what sometimes lies hidden or has been ignored for some time.  Scorpio also has to do with intensity and is sometimes related to sexual matters.  With the Scorpio Moon at 15 degrees (which is the second decant of Scorpio, ruled by Pisces), this period will also bring the energies of the sign Pisces into the interpretation. 

Pisces is a gentle, passive and compassionate sign.  Mix the two energies of Scorpio and Pisces together and the potential for mystical or occult occurrences is quite possible.  This could be considered a psychic connection and whatever house the New Moon is found in within your natal chart will speak of the area of life that is being activated and which will be open to mystical interpretation. 

The energies are gentle yet prodding and because of the psychic connection, you may be able to read between the lines quite easily.  If this conjunction is found in the fifth house, for example, this would suggest romantic overtones.  It could be speaking directly about you or if your children are of age, it might be referring to one of them. 

As writing this post, transiting Neptune currently residing in Pisces near the same degree and this would make this relationship a mystical one.  It would be important to be careful not to view any such relationship with rose-coloured glasses on however.  It is suggested to have a trusted close friend or family member assist in deciphering what this individual might actually be like.  The influence of this moon and connected planets could easily push energies that would put this individual on a pedestal and the one with this in their chart would view the love connection as spiritual and almost as if it were meant to be.  Quite possibly they may be right but if their head is in the clouds because of this astrological influence, it would be wise to get someone else’s perspective who is not emotionally involved.

If this conjunction were in the tenth house or conjunct the Midheaven then this could be related to the profession and perhaps things or information would come to the surface after some period of relative confusion or unawareness.  This could include any goals or wishes and as mentioned, now would be a good time to pursue some of these ideas or objectives. 

A comprehensive delineation of the whole chart is required however to make sure we are getting the whole picture.  Enjoy these powerful energies and get moving on making plans.  This is the time to do so.
