ALL THE RIGHT REASONS

If you stop for a minute and take in all that surrounds you daily, what is it that stimulates you in the direction you are going with life? 

 

Do you have a specific desire to make things happen the way you want them too? 

 

Do you live your life for others or is this life self-directed? 

 

Have you found something you want to share? 

 

Are you in a place that you can share these things?

 

So again, I ask, what makes you push forward in your life? 

 

Do you really want life to direct you or are you the director of your own personal journey? 

 

Are you being directed from a higher source and are you following this advice? 

 

It is great to feel on purpose and in line with your objectives.  It is also good to recognize that you are also being assisted from a higher source and that the direction being offered is always for your higher good.

 

If you live your life for others and always put yourself last, perhaps this feels righteous, but is this for your general good? 

 

Should you always place others ahead of you? 

 

Your goal when it comes to helping others is to help them achieve a state of happiness, but if you are not happy yourself how can you lead by example? 

 

You have to help yourself first and when you are finding that little place of heaven in your own mental outlook, then perhaps you will be ready to assist others in reaching the same.

 

If you find peace within yourself then indeed you have something of great value to share.  You cannot create peace for others but you can give them a helping hand so that they too can find peace within themselves.  The helping hand you extend will then not only benefit others, but will enhance your life’s experience as well. 

 

Your first objective has to be tied to you.  You must bring yourself to the state that you want for others before you can show them the way.  You cannot feed someone from an empty cupboard.

 

Remember who you are on a deep personal level.  Remove the shackles of ego.  Be sure to differentiate between ego and self.  They are not the same.  Recognize and release that part of ego which only obscures our visions and leads us to places that does not bring peace. 

 

Decide to be happy and at peace as it can only come from within.  After that, you can be the message.  You are the message.

TRANSITING JUPITER TRINE NATAL SUN

Transiting Jupiter will go direct on September 13, 2020.  Jupiter in its direct motions works at its best and promotes growth, good luck, opportunities and fortunate conditions particularly when in trine.  It does lose some of its opportunistic energies when in challenging aspect especially to Saturn.  However, when it makes a trine or sextile and even the conjunction to other planets, especially when we are speaking of our natal Sun, Jupiter’s energies shine.

 

Jupiter and the Sun share some similar characteristics.  They both speak of goals and growth potential as well as opportunities.  However, the Sun is much more personal in its nature than Jupiter.  The Sun speaks primarily of goals set by you for your or goals from others towards the self.

 

Currently Jupiter is in retrograde but will go direct as mentioned on September 13, 2020.  Jupiter will turn direct when it is at 17 degrees in the sign of Capricorn.  It stays in Capricorn until mid-December, 2020, when it then moves into the sign of Aquarius.  A trine from Jupiter to the Sun will have an orb of influence from 5 degrees approaching and 2 degrees separating. 

 

Those individuals with their Sun in Virgo using these degrees will be influenced by this alignment.  Also keep in mind that there are other mitigating factors in the chart such as the opposition from Neptune which tends to make things a little unclear, and the trine from Pluto which can bring transformation and power potential into the format of the whole natal profile picture.  Always use all significant factors while determining the potential in a chart analysis.

 

Much will depend on the houses involved in the equation but there will likely be opportunities for growth and expansion in the area of goals in life.  Your life’s direction may look overly pleasing and you feel opportunistic with a broad view of the potentials that might lie ahead.  Make sure you are viewing these with your eyes wide open and do not build too much into this although the opportunities are there, again depending on other aspects in the natal chart at this time.  If you are not totally sure of what a chart is describing it is wise to consult a professional Astrologer.

 

Looking from the vantage point of this aspect only (transiting Jupiter trine the Sun) you can use these energies to enhance your career, expand your horizons, be optimistic about your outcome potentials and go for it.  Jupiter does have a 12 year cycle so the next time you experience this trine (Sun in Virgo people) will be in about 4 years.  It might be wise to do some planning and then advance your cause.  The energies are favourable for easy flow, good fortune, opportunities and general good luck, as well as the likelihood of favourable health conditions unless again if there are other factors in the chart indicating something different.

MAKING YOUR WAY THROUGH

During some trials in life, it is hard to believe that we will ever see the other side.  We push ourselves through adversity and challenge what life presents us with.  If we pay heed and put forth the effort that is required to learn the life lesson, however, we always see ourselves clear and keep moving forward.  Sometimes it feels as though the fight is continuous.  There are even times that we feel like throwing up our hands in defeat and give in.

 

These are stressful times.  There is no doubt about it!  Many individuals are struggling just to survive due to finances and others due to emotional fatigue and some with fear. 

 

We do know, however, from a deeper perspective that this too will pass, and we will move through this difficulty just as we have other hurdles in the past.  We are strong and we will make our way through as best we can

 

Attitude plays a major role in life, regardless of what life appears to be on the surface.  We are never truly at the mercy of life although it can often appears this way.  We can choose to change our mind’s focus at any time.  Even when our minds slips back into old habits, we will recognize our thoughts and can refocus again and again.  We all have this ability.  The only thing that holds us in a stressful mind frame is our belief that we cannot escape it.  Once again it comes down to belief structures and focus; and once again, we have a choice to make.

 

Do not give in.  You are stronger than that.  Stand up to whatever is in front of you.  Make your way through as it is only a temporary hurdle.  It will not last. 

 

Stand tall in the face of adversity.  Know that you will not only endure but you will grow because of these challenging times.  You’ve got this!

APPLYING AND SEPARATING ASPECTS IN AN ASTROLOGY CHART

There are three different planetary movements found in the birth chart.  These movements are known as applying aspects, (planets moving together to form an aspect) separating aspects, (planets moving away from one another) and stationary aspects (stationary direct or stationary retrograde).  We are going to discuss the applying and separating aspects in our Natal Chart in this post.

All planets, whether retrograde or direct in the birth chart, will either be forming an aspect with another planet or separating from aspect to a planet.  The closer to exact the aspect, the stronger its influence is in our lives.  There are some planets that make no aspects, although this is rare.  If they are not making a major aspect (sextile, trine, conjunction, inconjunct, square or opposition) they are very powerful in the natal chart.

 

Many astrologers believe that a separating aspect deals with past events, or if you like, finished business.  These suggest something that has already been dealt with and will eventually fade over time.  Some believe that the acknowledgement and correction took place before birth and that we have already adjusted to or overcome whatever the two planets involve describe.  The degrees that separate the planets describe how powerful that aspect is in the chart.  The closer degrees to being direct with an aspect, the more likely that this energy was perhaps one of the last things that was set in motion in a previous lifetime, but this is speculative.

 

Astrologers understand this significance and will define its intensity and help delineate the meaning of any influence in the Birth Chart.  When planets are applying, it is understood that the faster moving planet is moving towards the slower moving planet and suggested unfinished business that will have to be rectified during the course of this lifetime.  Once again, the closer the aspect, the more apparent and pressing the energies of the planets involved.  We have come into this life to uncover the aspects meaning and address the apparent issue and come to terms with whatever the planets and aspects suggest.

 

The applying aspects becomes stronger as time passes.  They intensify and push us in directions that will assist us in defining the apparent circumstances involving these two planetary energies.  These conditions are dealt with after birth.  Applying aspects are suggestive of future endeavours that should be dealt with and transits that touch on these planetary links can intensify the birth condition and help us push towards resolution.  This is not to say that all aspects between planets are challenging; far from it. 

 

You must review the planets involved and decipher how well they work together and what aspects are involved before making a judgement call on how the energies will affect one another.  It should also be understood that a tight square or opposition in the birth chart has been set in motion in this life for us to overcome and could therefore be considered a challenging but advantageous aspect forcing us to make adjustments that in turn enhance development. 

 

Without challenging conditions in the birth chart, and there are charts that are extremely easy flowing with many trines and sextiles, there is little offered for achievement in life.  It is the challenging aspects that motivate us forward and challenge us to push for resolution.  

 

Remember the tighter the aspect, the more significant its influence in our lives.  When deciphering a chart, it is very important to take this into consideration. 

 

For example, a conjunction between Mars and Pluto is a very strong aspect, but if they are separating from one another and are out by 8 degrees, this is considered a weak conjunction, in comparison to a conjunction between these two planets approaching out only by one degree.  The latter scenario would be far stronger.

 

If for example the 8 degrees separating aspect of Pluto and Mars, although considered a powerful combination, were compared to an aspect of let’s say Venus conjunct the Sun, (which is a much softer aspect).  In this example the Venus conjunct the Sun aspect is applying and only out by 23 minutes.  The latter conjunction would have a far greater influence than the aspect between Mars and Pluto separating at 8 degrees.

SUN IN VIRGO AUGUST 22, 2020

 On August 22, 2020 at 11:44 a.m. EDT the Sun moves from the fixed fire sign of Leo into the mutable earth sign of Virgo.  Virgo is the sign of the virgin and has been known for its innocence of virtue, its ability to decipher things in great detail, and its underlying need for facts. 

 

The typical Virgo who has their life in order, looks neat and tidy and is conscientious and studious.  These individuals care about these qualities and they have to have (when working the way they want it to) all cylinders firing at the appropriate time and in the appropriate place.  Any Virgo that is unkept and does not have everything in its proper place are undoubtedly experiencing a state of turmoil or life is not working the way they want it to.  These are signs that they need to do some work and need to work to put life back on course again.

 

Virgo needs to have life organized and a well-kept home or filing system where everything is easy to find.  They love a well manicured lawns and gardens without weeds.  Many are endlessly orchestrating their lives to be as perfect as possible.  The only problem might lie in the fact that nothing in life is ever in its perfect state (in our opinions) except perhaps for nature.

 

Virgo is dependable, organized, structured and sees little flaws in people and life that others may not see.  They like cleanliness and look after themselves health wise and hygienically almost to a fault.  They can be over the top about this and can become obsessive about things being perfect.  This can lead to having a hard time being satisfied with what is around them and sometimes with themselves. 

 

Virgo individuals can work in many fields and their expertise is second to none.  In many cases they are honourable people and you know that you are getting their best at least from those functioning positively.

 

Virgo’s opposite sign is Pisces and right now Neptune is transiting through Pisces around the 20 degree mark in its retrograde cycle.  Oppositions are known to be a challenging aspect and there are always other people involved in the equation.  Neptune is a mystically oriented planet and when in challenging aspect makes things unclear and direction can be vague and uncertain.  When connected to the Sun which is our inner self, tied to our life’s path and goals and aspirations, there will likely be some ambiguity and doubt about the path ahead under this influence.

 

If your natal Sun is in the first house, this could be tied to relationships of significance such as your partner or business partner.  If your Sun is in the second house this could be tied to finances and security and shared resources.  If it is in the third house this could be tied to relationships with your siblings or the day to day activities that you are going through.  Perhaps it is tied to court proceedings or travel or higher education.  If your Sun is in the fourth house this could be tied to the home and family and your occupation.  Perhaps you are planning on moving and you are having issues from the family about where to move or whether or not to actually make that move under the current conditions.  Do not forget that others are tied into the calculation. 

 

If your Sun is in the fifth house the issues may be tied to your children or a love interest or perhaps you are thinking about starting a group or joining one.  If your Sun is in the sixth house then the conditions may be tied to the working environment or your co-workers and this may be tied in with health and wellness.  Perhaps there is more taking place than meets the eye, something may be hidden.

These that we have touched on are only potentials and a study of the full chart must be applied before we can reach a definitive conclusion, but this might give you an idea of what areas in life will be vague and uncertain at this time.

PLUTO THE TRANSFORMING AGENT

Pluto is known to have great transforming energies and through its influence, its energies will create change of direction where it is needed.  In many cases what needs to be transformed will be quite evident and if we do not move ahead with the requirements then Pluto’s energy will ensure that the changes are made for us.  Its energies are intense and when it touches a planet or angle in our natal chart or even when it crosses into a new house, you are quite aware of what is being pushed your way.

 

If Pluto transits an angle in your chart (ASC, MC, IC and DC) there is usually an ending of sorts taking place before something new comes into play.  It usually takes about 2 years to totally understand what is taking place and why things went through the aggressive change and why it was a requirement.  There are no halfway measures about the action of Pluto, and nothing is by chance.  Often, we have little control in what takes place and it is best to go with the flow rather than fight the impending change.

 

If Pluto conjuncts an angle, for example, Pluto conjuncts the MC, you can expect changes and transformations to take place around goals and life’s path.  In many cases depending on what stage of life you are in (age) you can expect something major to take place in the area of occupation or career.  Because Pluto in this case is making a conjunction, we also need to look at its opposition to the IC.  In many cases because of the changes that take place in your career it will also have effects on the family and the home.  Sometimes we need to move because of what takes place with our occupation or goals in life.

 

If Pluto is making a conjunction to the Ascendant, it will also be making an opposition to the DC.  The conjunction to the Ascendant will usually indicate some personal change is on the horizon.  Perhaps you change the way you look or your personal situation in life.  Perhaps this is due to the changes taking place in close personal relationships such as marriage or perhaps a relationship moves to the next level. 

 

Pluto should be taken seriously and as mentioned in many cases it is out of your hands how things unfold.  However, our attitude always plays an important role in how an event affects us.  Life does sometimes seem like it dictates and where Pluto is involved this might just be the case, but your attitude can make it more difficult or more easy flowing.

ASSISTING THOSE IN NEED

 It is certainly important to be there as support when someone needs help.  Just to be with someone in their time of need is the best support we can offer.  Sometimes a few calming words can move mountains and sometimes a gentle shoulder or an attentive ear can bring peace and reassurance.

 

Remember, however, we as a support person cannot make the changes happen.  We are “support”.  It is up to the individual to bring about change.  We may be able to plant a motivational or positive seed, but they personally must nurture that seed and culture its growth. 

 

It is important that we show our support and assist along the way when asked.  By allowing others to solve their own issues, they build inner strength by addressing the situation.  Ultimately, it is their decisions to make change.

 

Allow others freedom of choice and movement.  It can be difficult, but we must support them with their decisions, although suggestions are valuable if they are open to hearing them. 

 

Walking with them reassures them that we care, and they are not alone.  This alone can be empowering, but strength is built through determination, inner resolution and tackling their own personal issues.

 

Love them enough to let them learn from their mistakes.
