MOON'S NODES - Part I

There are two Moon’s Nodes in Astrology, the North Node and the South Node.

 

The North Node is tied to your life’s direction and the purpose behind this existence.

 

The South Node speaks about a past life significant to this life and/or an area of life that is comfortable because it is natural or familiar to us. Although the South Node is not the path you are to follow in this life, it does not suggest that you should steer clear of the South Node’s impact in your life, as you can use the gained knowledge from the previous incarnation to help you with your current journey. I know some individuals do not believe in past lives so think of the South Node as the talents that come natural to you.

 

We have come into this life to follow the path set out by the North Node and its energies are defined by the sign, house placement, and aspects from other planets or angles to the Nodes.

 

The South Node supplies us with valuable information that we have brought with us which we can utilize in this life. These are the things or information, as mentioned, that just simply come very natural to us. Falling back into the South Node’s energies indicated by its sign and house position may feel comfortable, but we have come to fulfill the purpose of the North Node position. Throughout our life, we will find that events push us in the direction of our North Node energies.

 

The planetary links to the North Node along with any angles (our Ascendant, the MC, the IC, and the DC) that might be tied to the North Node are something that we need to bring forward in this life and learn to use these energies to our advantage. The North Node is said to have similarities to the Sun and Jupiter while the South Node has connections to Saturn.

 

The planets and the aspects that link up to these two Nodes should be treated in the same manner as any other planetary energy in the natal chart. The planetary energies tie in with the Nodes and emphasize what these energies are about, which includes the angles as mentioned earlier.

 

For example, Mars tied to the South Node may indicate that in a previous life we were a fighter or someone with a vile temper, or a leader who governed through dictatorship or force. The North Node tied to Mars may suggest similar conditions and that in this life we are to pursue our objectives with vigor and use our inherent strength to accomplish what we have set out to do. Mars would provide us with the push to address what the sign and house position of the North Node suggests. However, any forceful or aggressive attempts at power are not suggested.

BROTHERS AND SISTER OF OUR WORLD

 It might be a productive idea to raise our shared consciousness and focus our attention in one direction.  Our world would be my choice, and I specify “Our World”, because this is one thing we all have in common.  Our world and its inhabitants all seem to currently be under duress.  Our world and each and every one of its inhabitants need some assistance for recovery. 

 

Our hope is to have as many people from all walks of life in as many countries as possible to join as one in the name of love and healing. 

 

We would like to set this joint effort up regardless of where you live, so that the energies come together.

 

We can utilize this time to share love, love that surrounds us even when we cannot feel it.  It does not matter how we spread this message of love, as long as we share it.

 

What better focus or intent than to make our world a better place for every living creature and to recognize this as important. 

 

Focus your attention not towards healing as this implies or places your focus on a state of the opposite of wellbeing.   We want to focus on a world that is healed, not a faltering one.  We ask that you think in terms of everything that we think needs doing is already done.  This will bring more of the same.  This brings light and love to everyone and everything that is part of our earthly journey.

SUN TRANSITS INTO THE SIGN OF SCORPIO, OCTOBER 22, 2020

On October 22, 2020, the Sun moves into the sign of Scorpio.  Scorpio is a fixed, water sign and it is ruled by the planet Pluto, and co-ruled by Mars.  As mentioned, Scorpio is a fixed sign suggesting that once a Scorpio individual makes up their mind about something, they will not be swayed.  There is a certain amount of power and intensity in the average Scorpio although they are often quiet and subdued.  Scorpio is a water sign suggesting that although the emotions are generally kept under wraps, they are very deep and highly emotional, even explosive under the right conditions.

 

There is a great interest in life’s hidden matters, and this includes any mystery, anything that lies beneath the surface and many Scorpio individuals find the occult and spiritual realms fascinating.  They are truth seekers and will stop at nothing when digging below the surface to find what they are looking for. 

 

These individuals are quite secretive and there is always something within that they are unwilling to share.  Some are interested in what could be termed taboo.  Sex, death and the afterlife hold great appeal for them.

 

They are ruled by the planet Pluto and Pluto provides great recuperative abilities.  Pluto rules the underworld and is often found quite active in charts during times of death and aggression. 

 

Many Scorpio individual have great strength and endurance.  These individuals want answers and will stop at nothing and often can depend on their innate abilities linked to the psychic realm and subconscious.

 

Transiting Pluto and Saturn are currently in the sign of Capricorn making a sextile to those with their Sun in Scorpio in the later degrees.  Pluto transforms and regenerates and adds intensity and when connected to the Sun in Scorpio individual, (such as currently) will change the course of life’s path offering opportunities to build towards something of significance but only after these Scorpio individuals leave behind what no longer serves them. 

 

Pluto always puts an end to things as something new needs to begin.  In most cases, there are no halfway measures.  It is all or nothing.  By December 2020, Saturn moves into the sign Aquarius and forms a square to those with their Sun in Scorpio in the early degrees.  This is a much more challenging position than when Saturn makes a sextile.

 

Transiting Neptune is in Pisces trine to those with their Sun in Scorpio in the mid to late degrees of Scorpio.  Neptune is located currently (October 2020) at 18 degrees Pisces and remains between 18-23 degrees into 2022.  This trine aspect suggests that the potential for spiritual insight and potential visitations from the other side would have a much easier flowing than normal.  Those with this aspect should open the door, if so inclined, and seek out the truth behind the mysteries of life.

 

Use these energies, Scorpio, to help gain insight into yourself and other worldly things during these connections.  Be ready for transformations and those experiencing the Saturn contact, be prepared for a testing period.

PERSEVERANCE AND STRENGTH

 Seldom, while experiencing stressful situations, do we recognize our ability to persevere or our internal strength.  We get caught up in life’s events and can be swept along often without realizing that we are even engulfed in our thoughts on these events.  We spiral and delve deeper into our thoughts on stressful lessons but for some reason something triggers us, and we realize where we have put ourselves and how deep we have fallen.

 

It is at this time when we ask for help in some manner or another.  Some ask for guidance and assistance from higher sources while others reach out to friends or relatives for support.  There are those that seek professional guidance and there are others that only needed that realization to move forward on their own.  The way that we change the issue does not matter, that fact that we recognize we need to make a change is vital.

 

One way or another it is important to acknowledge and understand that we as individuals have strength and have endured the hardships up to this point.  We are stronger than we give ourselves credit for.  We have been strong enough to make it this far.  Internal strength is not often recognized until after the fact, when we realize that regardless of the manner of assistance, we make the final choices and learn to make it through stressful lessons.

 

Yes, we are stronger than we think.  As we develop and grow through some of life’s events, we will need to acknowledge this to ourselves.  We are not weak.  We are an all empowered individual who has endured and has conquered. 

 

Stand tall in the face of life’s lessons.  Know that you will prosper and grow as a person.  Nothing stands in the way of your freedom of choice.  Your mindset is the most important part of the process and you can change that mindset whenever you want.  You are in command and you hold the answers.

VENUS TRINE PLUTO OCTOBER 21, 2020

 The transit of Pluto to Venus can manifest in several ways.  First and usually foremost it speaks in terms of love and romance.  Second, it may speak in terms of our finances, material possessions and in some cases, artistic pursuits.

 

When it comes to love and romance, this connection often brings to the surface challenges within an existing relationship that can, under this influence, be dealt with and rectified.  It can deepen and bring more security within this relationship if we deal with things appropriately.  If there are problems, they usually stem from ego and power struggles.  We must recognize them as such and be able to face and deal with them.  Sometimes the relationship seems to be running along perfectly and now becomes even deeper and more satisfying.  The relationship reaches a new level of understanding and commitment under this influence.

 

If this period brings a new relationship into existence, this relationship can be a deep and a personal one with strong sexual energies.  You just seem to know each other instinctively or the dialogue between you is very deep and personal.  The potential for change and evolution for both individuals is heightened, and this applies to a newly found relationship or a long standing one.  Pluto transforms, regenerates, and speaks of personal change.  Its energies can make love relationships profound and have great substance. 

 

In general, trines speak of easy flow and a good rapport.  This combination brings positive outcomes to life.  This aspect is the one we are always waiting for.

 

If this transit of Pluto to Venus brings financial conditions into focus, then it often speaks of potential increases in this area.  We may inherit money, come into money through marriage or partnership, even through business associations. 

 

Sometimes Venus speaks about creative potential and much recognition is possible under this aspect’s energies.  We will need to bring things to the surface and find ways to express our creativity, perhaps through shows, or through the meeting of influential people.  It is a time to push forward with our creative insights and let others see what we are capable of doing.

 

Our feelings are stimulated at this time, and we can make things happen.  DO NOT sit back in reflection even though Pluto will make this easy to do.  Push forward and strive to reach objectives in life, whether this is creative and/or romantic.  The energies are in a good place when this aspect is in place, and we should use these energies to assist us in uncovering what we are in search of.

NEW MOON IN LIBRA OCTOBER 16, 2020

We will be experiencing a New Moon at 23 degrees in the sign of Libra on October 16, 2020, at 3:31 p.m. 

 

Allow a three-degree orb of influence to any planet or angle in your natal chart to 23 degree Libra.  The Conjunction, Square and Opposition are the three main aspects to consider and then you can take into consideration the Trine and Sextile.  The more challenging the aspects the greater the influence of this New Moon in your chart.  Remember to consider the house of the New Moon as well as the planet(s) involved and their house position.

 

A New Moon indicate a fresh start, a time to begin anew and strategize a plan of action that will be matured and ready to be harvested when we reach the next Full Moon in the same sign, some 6 months from now.  It is important to take into account the houses involved as this will be the areas of life that can be influenced, and you can set your plans with this in mind.

 

The Moon and Sun are in conjunction with one another during a New Moon cycle and are in opposition with one another in the Full Moon stage.  A conjunction to another planet will bring an emphasis to the planet involved, merging the energies. 

 

Because this New Moon is in the sign of Libra often relationships are part of the picture.  A degree of balancing and fairness will be part of the process.  For example, if this conjunction is with Mars and in the eighth house, you may find that there are issues related to joint finances and shared resources or issues related to sexual expression.  Mars would cause some level of disagreement and potential aggression and in many cases, you will want to speak your mind but you should also be ready for some challenging response from those involved. 

 

Libra is about partnership in business as well, and if the tenth house is involved you may find that your occupation and career or life status and reputation may be involved depending on what aspects are involved and the planets which are part of the picture.  Libra however usually aims towards peaceful resolutions, and honesty is imperative. 

 

There may be some type of legalities especially if the ninth house in involved and potential health or perhaps a co-worker if the sixth house is part of the process.

 

If this is about an important relationship such as a marriage partner, then perhaps the seventh and/or first house will be involved.  If this New Moon is forming an opposition then the likelihood of someone else besides yourself causing issues is heightened. 

 

Fairness and justice will be primary, and you might have to make adjustments to get the full picture especially if the twelfth house is involved as there may be an element that is hidden in some way. 

 

Although considered a minor aspect the quincunx often speaks of the necessity of adjustment being part of the picture.  Minor aspects can also play a role in determining what is in place, but the orb of influence is much tighter and should not be considered unless the degree of separation is less than one degree.

 

You can use these energies in positive ways regardless of the aspect or planets involved, but the more challenging aspects and difficulty of the planets involved the harder a resolution.  It should be understood that the more work that is required, the greater the chance for something worthwhile to manifest.

THE VIEW FROM HERE

 Sometimes we get hung up on events in life.  We strive to live in the moment but at times forget that our focus has a direct impact on the way we view our world.  Worry and anxiety create more of the same and living in that space is anything but comfortable.  We tend to get lost in the issues but if we were to take notice, we would realize that whatever worries us is always in the future or in the past. 

 

It is difficult to remain optimistic when we focus on lack or hard lessons, but we CAN refocus at any time once we take note of where our mind is at.  We will first have to become aware of our focus and then re-direct.  Do not attempt to ignore or escape from what is causing stress or anxiety. This only gives strength to your focus.  We actually bring more of the issue to the table by trying not to think about the issues.

 

Instead of worrying about health for example or relationships for another example look to the opposite.  If you are concerned about health, see a doctor and think in terms of good health, perhaps the inner strength and resilience you have or what you can do to alleviate these conditions.  Exercise or healthy eating will bring health to higher levels, but a positive reinforcing statement regardless of how it seems at the time will bring a good focus on health. 

 

“I am healthy, strong and able to repair any conditions” or “I am healthy and resilient and will build in strength each day”. 

 

Find your own positive reaffirmation and say it in front of the mirror each and every day.  In the beginning it may feel somewhat uncomfortable, but it does get easier. 

 

You can use positive reinforcement in any situation. 

 

Our positive reinforcements do not have to be used for just solving an issue.  For example, if you have been looking to develop psychic and intuitive abilities and inspirational advancement, you can say “I am a spiritual being brought into this life to build psychic awareness”.  The more you reinforce this, the more it builds over time.

 

Think of what potential lies ahead by living in the now in terms of positive reinforcement.  It builds and becomes easier over time.  You will notice a difference almost immediately. 

 

It is time to strengthen you “focus” muscle and build on what is good for you.
