A SPIRIT IN HUMAN FORM

 As you continue in what can feel like a mundane existence, you may question what this life is all about.  Why are we here doing the same old routine jobs, and continuing along the same route?  What is the purpose?

 

These are common questions. 

 

Throughout life we do have extraordinary and exceptional experiences from time to time.  Sometimes these events challenge us to move in a very different direction; sometimes they awaken us to new avenues of experience and expression. 

 

Life can be very rewarding and at times, it can also be very repetitive.  These latter periods of relative calm can last for extended periods of time.

 

It is important for us to realize that over time we become so accustomed to and focused on everyday routine that we forget our connection to spirit.  We have said it many times over the years, we are spiritual beings living a human existence and have chosen this life’s experience and all its intricacies to further our evolutional growth. 

 

Many of us, although we believe that there is a higher purpose and feel connected to a greater whole, do not understand or are barely aware of the spiritual energy (self) that resides within.  We contemplate such as possibility but have difficulty fathoming the reality of it.  Opening the door to your inner reality and allowing that potential to become forefront without judgment can unlock a channel to your getting in touch with this connection.  Through self-study and acceptance, as well as meditation practice, we can facilitate that association although it constantly exists, even when we are unaware of it.   

 

We are Spiritual beings living in an earthly existence because there are valuable lessons that can promote growth that are only attainable through the physical realms. We move from physical existence into a spiritual form from one life to the next until we have educated ourselves to the point that physical existence is no longer important.  Upon retaining this level of understanding and evolutionary progress we move into our spiritual connection and once again learn what we can and offer guidance to those still going through their earthly experiences. 

 

Currently, particularly, it can be difficult to understand, nor are we capable of fully understanding, this new unfolding adventure in our physical form. 

 

We do understand that meditation can help our understanding and assists us in becoming clear and more open and quiet so that we can receive inner communication. 

 

Our life’s experience is exactly what we came here to embrace and we choose to experience major events with the knowledge that it will facilitate growth, enabling us to move in our intended direction.

Yule – WINTER SOLSTICE

 The Winter Solstice (Hibernal Solstice) falls on December 21 at 8:30 a.m. EST in the northern hemisphere in 2020. 

 

December 21 will be the least amount of daylight we will experience in the northern hemisphere as the sun is currently on a very low arc in the sky for our area. 

 

The good news, the day light will start to get longer and our precious sunlight will soon return.  The arc will heighten and the days will slowly lengthen.  As nature sleeps and the light is low, we can use the longer nights to reflect on our journey.  Go inward to work.  We can plan our intentions for when the energy and the light returns.  Mother nature always knows best.  Follow her example.  Look at the rest of nature.  Many species are hibernating or slowing down and resting and waiting for the return of light, for the return of warmth, the return of the energy that nurtures us mentally, physically and spiritually.

 

Our current lesson is patience.  Utilize the wait to look deep into the shadows of self.  Bring light to the darkest corners of self.  Fill each corner with love and allow spirit to grow.

 

Is it coincidence that during Yule season (the rebirth of light), many celebrate the birth of Christ for example (the rebirth of salvation)?  This is a time of celebration for many, whether it is Yule, Christmas, Hanukah, Kwanza, etc.

 

We have much to celebrate.  Be filled with promise, with faith in all that is, with gratitude, with love and with inner healing light!

SUN IN CAPRICORN DECEMBER 21, 2020

The Sun moves into the signed of Capricorn this year late on December 21, 2020. 

 

Those born in the sign of Capricorn are known to be serious-minded individuals, who are somewhat reserved, conscientious, and reliable.  They are usually well equipped to manage others and do well in the world of business and enterprise.  They are often leaders in their particular field of expertise and many Capricorn individuals work towards greater achievement.  Their commitment to success is high on the agenda. 

 

They respect authority and that which is tried and tested although their superiors will have to be respected in their field and have worked their way up the corporate ladder through hard work as this reflects the Capricorn individual’s own intentions.  These individuals are leaders, not followers but will listen to advice and then make their own decisions as to which route to take.  They are not risk-takers and understand the meaning of hard work and disciplined effort.  They know that it takes time to move ahead and as a result, they are builders.

 

Some have issues with negativity.  This is due to the ruling planet, Saturn, which often makes things difficult and the energies of Saturn will not allow short cuts.  Worry and anxiety can be a part of life when life is not moving along as it should.  This negativity can be kept well under wraps to the outside work and no one will know that this is what is taking place in their life.  Capricorn individuals normally appear quite in control of life’s situations even when they are not.

 

Those with their Sun in Capricorn have or will be experiencing the conjunction with Pluto which at this time is at 23 degrees.  Pluto has been in Capricorn for about 12 years and will not move into Aquarius on a permanent basis until late 2024.  Conjunctions signify a conjoining of the energies associated with the planetary.  In most cases, there is a certain degree of emphasis on the area of life represented by the house position influenced by this powerful combination.  Transiting Pluto can be felt up to 5 degrees in its approach before the actual conjunction occurs and will be felt approximately 2 degrees after it separates.  It lingering effects are often not fully comprehended for about one to two years after it has completed its connection.

 

Pluto transforms, regenerates, and signifies an end of conditions and then the beginning of something new, quite separate from what was in place prior to that time.  There are no halfway measures about Pluto and its impact is powerful and life-changing.  There can be ego disputes and disruptions almost without measure and when tied to the Sun, life’s path is subject to total and complete change.  The transformation, if adhered to, is not as challenging as it is when one tries to dispute where life is taking you.  We are often swept along usually feeling little control of the situation and we must learn to adapt to these changes as they are often a prerequisite to the change needed to what no longer serves a purpose.  The new is brought into play because this is actually where we need to go.

 

The Sun can be very personal and these changes may be on an individual level.  The Capricorn individual may be forced or asked to have a close and personal look at who they are and what they want from life.  This is particularly true if the Sun is somehow connected to the Ascendant and this aspect will identify how these energies might play out. 

 

The Sun also has to do with our path in life which may be tied to our career or health, and Pluto can have a profound impact on our well-being and our course of action.  What we do in this regard and how we handle any energies placed in these areas can be defining moments.

 

Pluto and the Sun are the forerunners to change, and adapting to these adjustments is important on how life moves forward at this time for the Capricorn individual.  A deep reflective period is likely and a close analytical approach is advised.

AGENT OF PEACE

 In a world filled with judgement and adversity and ravaged by those that control through fear and twisted truths, how do you continue to allow our true, loving self to shine through?

THE MIDLIFE CHANGES BETWEEN 38-42 REFLECTED IN ASTROLOGY

In this post we will be focusing on the mid-life turning point at ages 38-44 and how it is indicated in the Astrology chart. This period in life is a normal evolutionary step from early adulthood into a form of maturity.  This is a period when we can make peace with ourselves, and we should be fairly comfortable with the person we are by this time in life. 

 

This can be a time when we restructure our association with self on a much more profound level.  A sense of individuality should occur due to the major influences taking place in our lives.  During this age period, we are experiencing transiting Saturn in trine to its natal position and Neptune in square to its natal position.  These signify inner transformations and a realistic approach to who we are. 

 

There may even be a feeling of urgency with our quests in life.  Our ego and the ongoing search for “who am I?” are undergoing alterations in the consciousness of those individuals that feel they need answers.

 

There is no formal training when it comes to what many people term “the midlife crisis”.  No one can say they are prepared, particularly because no one knows exactly what to expect.  Each individual goes through their own personal “crisis” (if that is how you want to look at it) and then an awakening takes place.  This is a time of great soul searching and a desire for inner change which often coincides with outer change, as one affects the other.

 

The body is also undergoing physical changes during this time in our lives, and those who have placed too much attention on their physical appearance may become depressed with the changes they are seeing in the mirror.  Many individuals will go deep within to rediscover what they actually have to offer, especially if the physical appearance has been held in an elevated position most of life.  The ego is actually in a somewhat delicate state, as the inner self gains supremacy and control, at least for those who are searching for something more.

 

This is often considered a turning point as we truly begin to question who we are and we relentlessly want answers. 

 

Many individuals traditionally turn to deeper subjects such as spirituality, Astrology and the mystical side of life, furthering their pursuit, and hoping to find some answers to some truly profound questions.  This is an awakening stage as many who have been wrapped up in the material world and have came up empty, now wanting greater meaning in their lives.

 

Doors that have been closed are now beginning to open and a deep restlessness is awakening within.  The search continues and those longing for answers begin to question their existence and open the channel from within to make a more intimate contact with the inner self.  The process has begun, as we raise our consciousness and continue on with our mission.

 

At age 42, we are also experiencing the Uranus opposition with itself.  This intensifies the search and often we reach for something new to bring to the forefront of life.  Some reach out for radical solutions and this is when people become bored with life and want something that is exciting and exhilarating.  There is a bit of an eccentric influence arising from the personality.  Many find this new individual reaching to find some satisfaction beyond the normal material influences in life.  Shifts that may be a bit erratic and different and a need to break free of any restrictions is often an important part of the process.

 

These life expressions often come to light on short notice and we make untimely changes that will affect us personally and those around us.  This is often quite disruptive for family members that are accustom to life being steady, solid and secure. 

 

Some individuals may leave their marriage partners and start a new life. In many cases the change is sudden and comes without much warning. We can never prepare ourselves for what might take place but we can know that change is inevitable.  A transformation will take place and this period can certainly be intense.

WORLD UNITED

 In a world scarred by injustice and hate, we can begin the healing by uniting together as one and fight.  Our fight is not one of anger or violence.  It is not one of greed and injustice.  It is not for the faint of heart, yet calls on all of us to act.  It beckons that we join together as brothers and sisters unified for one reason and one reason alone, to bring the world together in peace and harmony, exactly how it should be.

 

We came into this world, each and every one of us, all under the same light, together with love and compassion without judgment and free of any prejudice.  This is our birthright and still holds true today even under some pretty stressful conditions. 

 

We came equipped with love and compassion yet misplaced our innocence along the way.  This innocence is at our core and we can bring it to the surface once again.  It is not lost; it is only weaved in a cloak of misunderstanding which can lead to hatred.  Through knowledge, understanding, compassion, ….our ignorance can be replaced once again with love.

SOLAR ECLIPSE DECEMBER 14, 2020

 We will be experiencing a Solar Eclipse on December 14, 2020 beginning at 11:16 am EST. 

 

According to www.timeandate.com, this “total solar eclipse, the last eclipse of 2020, is visible from Chile and some parts of Argentina in the afternoon. Some regions in southern South America, south-west Africa, and Antarctica will see a partial solar eclipse, if the weather permits.”

 

We wanted to share some Astrological information on an eclipse.

 

An eclipse is considered to be much stronger than the effects of the New or Full Moons.  An Eclipse has a conjunction with either the North or South Nodes.  This on its own is one reason that an eclipse is considered stronger than the various other Moon phases. 

 

The Nodes are significant because of their effects on our lives.  An eclipse to the North Node is considered more favorable than an eclipse linked with the South Node.  The North Node has energies similar to Jupiter and the South Node has energies similar to Saturn. 

 

The December 14, 2020, eclipse is linked by less than 4 degrees to the South Node.

 

If a natal planet is within close proximity (3 degrees) to this eclipse and in major aspect (Conjunction, Opposition, Square, Trine and Sextile), this eclipse will have an effect on you personally.  Take into consideration the angles of your chart as well (Ascendant, MC, DC and IC) as these play important roles in how this eclipse will interact with your chart.  Conjunctions and Oppositions are the most powerful and can have a profound effect in your life.  The area of life will be revealed by the houses influenced and sign of the eclipse.

 

This eclipse falls in the sign of Sagittarius and will be at 23 degrees.  This position and its opposition position (23 degrees Gemini) will be influencing factors in this eclipse.  This is important to consider because the average eclipse has lasting effects often longer than 3 hours in duration and Mars and/or Saturn while in transit will make conjunctions and oppositions to this placement activating the eclipse.  These transits only activate the eclipse position when in conjunction or opposition.  Saturn will not be making a conjunction or opposition to this placement while it is in effect.

 

Eclipses are rated from one to seven depending on their strength which is measured with increments related to its positioning and aspects by other transits taking place at the same time.  In worldly matters this eclipse in December, 2020 is considered a six according to the natal birth position of the USA.  As a result, this should be a very influential eclipse for the USA in general.  The solar eclipse manifests in a more external manner than the lunar eclipse and it lasts longer.  As a side note, most lunar eclipses have a duration of one year while a solar eclipse can last as long as five years. 

 

On a personal basis, the planet making an aspect to the eclipse degree is highly significant and will interact with the basic influence of the sign Sagittarius.  This has to do with spirituality, religious doctrines, long distance travel and publications among other things. 

 

We also have to look into the energies associated with the ruling planet of Sagittarius, which is Jupiter, often referred to as the greater benefactor promising growth and expansion along with feelings associated with positivity and good fortune.  If this placement is poorly aspected within the personal natal chart however, Jupiter can expand on an already challenging situation.  Sometimes energies associated with the eclipse can be felt or experienced up to one to two months prior to the eclipse degree and as mentioned will be activated over several years by Mars.
