POTENTIALLY EXPLOSIVE SITUATIONS

Are you currently living with someone that you feel is ready to explode?  Have they lost themselves in life’s conditions or events and are overwhelmed and drowning in stress?  Do you feel as though you are the recipient of their anger and they are constantly venting on you?  Are you living in fear as a result of someone else’s actions or potential actions? 

Have you offered love and support and yet living conditions have not improving because this individual is not interested in changing?  If this is the situation that you find yourself in perhaps you should consider making a move to remove yourself from this situation.  Unfortunately, we cannot force change or improvement on others but we have full control over our own actions and choices.

Even if you do not feel threatened or in danger but the situation is out of control, positive action should be a consideration.  There is no positive purpose to continue living in this environment and eventually it could take its emotion toll on you.  Living under continually stressful conditions is a choice.

Making a move can be challenging, to say the least.  Some of us stay in relationships because of insecurities, some because of fear and some because they feel obligated to be there to offer assistance.  Whatever the reason, we have to ask ourselves if it is worth the outcome?  If we have truly tried to assist in alleviating the conditions and alter the course but still find that a positive change is not being made, our choices to enable us to live stress free are limited and obvious.

There are times in life when we have no other choice for our own health and sanity but to remove ourselves from the situation and find a new direction.  This choice may be frightening but it may be the best move we have ever made. 

Fear is self-generated.  With a positive attitude and patience, we will make our way forward to a life of peace and love.

MUTUAL RECEPTION IN ASTROLOGY

Mutual Reception is an astrological term given when two planets link together. If for example Mercury was in Leo (the Sun’s natural ruler) and the Sun was in Gemini (Mercury’s natural ruler), the two planets are said to be in Mutual Reception to one another.  Another example would be Venus in Cancer (the Moon’s natural ruler) and the Moon in Libra or Taurus (Venus’s natural rulers).  One last example for good measure would be if Mars was in Leo (the Sun’s natural ruler) and the Sun was Scorpio or Aries (the planet Mar’s natural rulers).

The planets linked by Mutual Reception are said to have an attraction to one another and work well together.  They gain in strength and take on each other’s qualities and energies.  They almost work as one unit, each gathering energies from the other; it is as though they are creating one new energy. 

When these planets are in aspect to one another in the birth chart, the significance of the two planets is emphasized and strengthened.  If there is no aspect between the two planets, their energies are still linked (unlike other planets that are not linked through aspect).  If the aspect between the planets is a positive one, like the trine, the sextile or sometimes the conjunction, the positive energies are linked and operate at an even higher frequency.  If the planets are linked by challenging aspects, such as the square or opposition and sometimes the conjunction, the difficulty is moderated or softened.

It is fortunate to have a Mutual Reception found in the horoscope and although there are dozens of possibilities, it is not at all a common occurrence.  The houses which the planets are located in should also be considered as though they are working harmoniously together and linking up with the area of life involved.

To go deeper and to consider the strength of these Mutual Receptions, you also have to take into consideration whether the Planets’ signs are in detriment, exaltation or fall.  This plays into the ability of the union to operate on a higher function.  We have written a previous post about detriment, exaltation and fall.  http://holmastrology.blogspot.ca/2014/04/exaltation-detriment-and-fall.html.

 

Mutual reception should always be considered when deciphering a natal chart, although there will be other mitigating aspects within a chart which will be stronger and more influential than the Mutual Reception.  However, this does describe other hidden strengths within the personality as the energy of the planets involved link up.

ENHANCED OPPORTUNITIES

We are fortunate to experience the continual expansion of our insight and of the understanding of our own true nature.  We are uncovering the secrets behind everyday living and adhering to these new found ideologies.  Some of us enhanced through the recognition and utilization of the potential within.  Some are clearly on this path and inspire others along their way.

It IS a beautiful life even though we experience strife from time to time.  As we develop our understanding, we recognize that there is important meaning behind these times of strife and many have learned to welcome adversity in their life.  We understand that in challenging ourselves and opening up to awareness, we are uncovering dimensions of ourselves that we did not know existed.  How fortunate to comprehend this.

Experience met with resistance leaves us with an unpleasant aftertaste.  What a wonderful experience to be free to accept life’s events with open arms.  With this mental adjustment, we are coming to understand the ego and its plight.  We can acknowledge that we are not part of ego nor is it a part us.  We have the potential of finding a life free of its influence.  Only through awareness can this happen.

We look around only to see some people caught up in life’s events.  Why?  They are simply not ready and their evolutionary state knows when the time is right.  When we are faced with someone that does not comprehend this even after you have offered assistance, remember that they are walking their own path; they have chosen their journey and will experience what they need to experience for their own personal growth. We must accept this even when it hurts to stand back and watch.

We are always to do our best, to help others, but we must first heal our own wounds before we can help others.  We cannot hurry our own personal evolution nor can we hurry the personal evolution of someone else as we moves at our own pace.  Patience they say is a virtue and we will certainly learn this.  Be patient with yourself and appreciate the distance already travelled.

Find peace even in the face of adversity.  Be strong in these conditions. Offer assistance to those that are ready to hear your message.  Know that you are moving in your intended direction.

MIDPOINTS IN ASTROLOGY

Midpoints are considered one of the most successful astrological applications available for predictive abilities.  A midpoint is the exact halfway point between two planets or two significant points (Ascendant, Midheaven) or astrological bodies such as Chiron.  The Part of Fortune, as well as the Vertex, or other bodies that you use to delineate an Astrology Chart can also be used when calculating midpoints. 

If, for example, you have Uranus at 11 degrees Cancer and the Moon at 28 degrees Scorpio, the midpoint would be 19 degrees Virgo.  If you were to have a planet or significant point in the natal chart that is within a one degree orb of 19 degrees Virgo, that planet /point would be influenced by the energies of  Uranus and the Moon and would provide an influence from this planetary position.  If let’s say you have Mars at 19 degrees, Mars would be heavily influenced by Uranus and the Moon.

With this example, when delineating transits and progressions, any planetary link to this position would also carry these overtones as well as the conjunction to Mars.  You can also use the semi-square, the square, the Sesquiquadrate and the opposition when delineating this configuration.  These aspects are all divisions of 45 degrees and will bring action, create events and make these events noticeable to the individual and also at times to others that are involved in the equations.

Transit Midpoints are very significant when deciphering potential events especially events tied to situations that are suggested by the natal midpoints and the houses involved in the equation.   As mentioned, use an orb of no more than one degree when deciphering what potential situations may occur.  Midpoints are significant because they will provide the Astrologer with a clearer indication of what potential lies within the bounds of these transfigurations.

This can also be applied to any midpoint of any combination found in the natal chart, as the midpoint becomes a focal point when transits or progression join up and make contact with these sensitive points.  In most cases when the conjunction is activated between the two planets or significant points and the aspect is direct within one minute, you can expect something to happen. 

The house location of the midpoint will provide you with the area of life affected.  Also, look at the houses the two bodies are located in the natal chart to provide an even clearer picture.  Also take into consideration what the planets represent and how this area of life will be affected. 

For example, the Moon and Uranus and Mars would suggest an emotional experience that would be sudden and unexpected with the potential for aggressive action or progressive movement in the areas of life indicated.

Midpoints can pinpoint events although the more angles involved, the harder it is to delineate.  Using the midpoint between the two planets is often sufficed in providing additional information.  When dealing with midpoints, pay particular attention to the midpoints between the Sun and the Moon, and the Ascendant and the Midheaven.

HIGHER VIBRATION

It is important to remain rational and clear-headed when experiencing some of life’s trying conditions, but also, we should not lose sight of the mystical experiences and developments that are taking place at the same time.  We remain in touch with our daily routine, family, and friends as well as our growth beyond this earthly plain.  There is a mystical/spiritual plan for this earthly plain that has been set into motion at birth.   

Our spiritual connection cannot be forgotten.  Always remember our connection with source.  This is a magical energy flow that affects each and every one of us whether we recognize it, nurture it or try to stifle it.  Place your focus there even if just for a moment.  Pay heed to the wisdom coming at us from many different angles.  Our spiritual quest is upon us.  We are in the midst of a transformation that may feel uncomfortable at times but at the same time it feels inspiring.

Our world and our lives are not meant to be focused complete on material living.  Our soul purposes is not to just gain in riches and move towards social consciousness.  We are part of the whole but understand that there is more to life than meets the eye.  We are cosmic beings linked together now and always.  Whatever we do to any living thing on this earth affects each and every other living thing sharing this experience with us. 

Humanity appears to be preparing for its next wave of evolution, whatever that may be.  Have you ever wondered why you were born into this life, at this precise time and under these precise conditions?  Have you ever asked yourself what your purpose is?  Do you know beyond a doubt that life has greater meaning and that we all have a part to play in the process? 

The answers prior to and the answers after we have allowed the channels to open up to the dialogue that is ever present within us will vary immensely.  We are so accustomed to the inner dialogue that many of us have become oblivious to the information and to the higher level of understanding.

As we know, we are mystical beings brought to earth to live a life’s experience in this physical form, yet we are not bound by the physical body as it appears.  We have techniques available to us that foster an awareness of other dimensions of reality that are attainable different practices.  Being/living in the moment is one of the most positive ways of recognition.  Living in the moment allows us the realization that these are more than just ideas; they are reality. 

There are other techniques that we can use to enhance our earthly experience including meditation and mindfulness to name just a couple.

Living at varying energy vibrational levels is not as difficult as it sounds for we have been living this way all our lives.  It is so commonplace that most of us fail to recognize it.  We are not awakening to something new.  It is an old forgotten friend. 

Beware of the ego however for as we open to review the energy relationship, ego will relentlessly persist on maintain its control as it is completely fear based.  Do not identify with anything that does not feel right energetically or that cannot aid us in our growth and progression.  Do not listen to the constant chatter of the ego and understand that it is not a part of us.

We have what it takes to renew our relationship with the higher energy vibrations by maintaining a higher vibration.  We have always had what it takes.  We are all capable.
