CREATIVE INSPIRATION

Some people may look at the title of this post “Creative Inspiration” and think to themselves, “I don’t have a creative bone in my body” or “I have nothing creatively significant to offer”. 

What is your definition of “Creative”? 

Many of us think of creativity as something artistic…. that it is a talent.  These talents can be learned and developed or they may be natural.   Some of us are born writers, some are born or learned musicians and some can just create beauty seemingly out of someone else’s garbage.

Creative inspiration suggests that something creative comes to the surface from hidden forces or outside influences.  Maybe someone sees something in you that you do not.  It does not have to be an “artistic” talent.  It might be the way you express yourself or the way you help others or the way you relate to people on a mental level.  Parents use their creative talents on a daily basis with their children.  They explore their child’s behaviour and develop ways to best assist their children or challenge their children to bigger and better things.

If you feel compelled to reach out to someone with advice or communication, this could be a creative inspiring moment.  What you express could plant a much needed seed of release for that individual.  Would you not consider that inspirational? 

Do not sell yourself short.  Pay attention to how you live your daily life.  See how you handle yourself in different circumstances.  Pay attention!  Get into the moment of your personal life.

We all have creative inspirations.  They just surfaces in different forms.  You have many creative moments throughout your life, simply because of who you are as an individual.  People come into your circle to hear what you have to say or to see the example you set.  It does not have to be a great artistic masterpiece but it might be profound for someone around you.  You do not know the full impact you have on other people’s lives. 

We are all beautifully unique.  Each of us has much to offer and experience moments of inspiration frequently but may not recognize them.

FULL MOON ARIES

The New Moon Cycle is the perfect time to plant seeds for your goals and the Full Moon Cycle offer the perfect energies to harvest your goals that were set during the New Moon Cycle (particularly the New Moon under the same sign six months prior).  The Full Moon is a perfect time to review all external events that have unfolded since the beginning of the New Moon.  This is a great cycle to keep you consistently setting new goals, reviewing life, reviewing the energies available and accomplishing your goals.  The Full Moon cycle is rarely a time for planning or orchestrating what you want to do.  It is much more conducive to reviewing your progress, tweaking your ideas so that you can enjoy an even larger harvest.  There will be times that you will realize that the seeds have been sown on baron lands and you may have to accept your losses.  You can always reseed under the next new moon. 

Our next Full Moon is in the sign of Aries at 12 degrees.  This Harvest Full Moon occurs on October 5, 2017.  With the Full Moon in the sign of Aries, the harvest often deals with something of a very personal nature and applies directly to us as an individual.  It is often something we decided to do for ourselves that we wished would bring self-satisfaction and a sense of accomplishment.  This could include starting our own business, changing jobs, moving locations, beginning a new relationship or ending one.

Locate which house the Full Moon is located in within your Astrology chart.  Also review any aspects from natal planets or angles to the Full Moon.  This will provide you with information as to what area of life is involved and how challenging or rewarding the experience will be.  The house represents the area of life which is being stimulated and the aspects to planets or important angles in your chart will define if these energies are working to exalt you or challenge you.

Aries’ energies focus on assertion and aggressive pursuits and will push you towards your objectives.  If the project at hand seems to have weak links then you will now be able to correct these weaknesses, make changes to your goals or let go of your goals completed and start anew.  Aries is very resilient and is able to pick up the pieces and begin again if necessary, but Aries tends to jump too early and does not always carry out the necessary work to lay a solid foundation.  You will have to weigh out the circumstances and give it your all before you make alternate plans or begin something new.

The Full Moon is not always the best time to begin anew and you would be far better waiting for the New Moon before planting new seeds.  As mentioned, the Full Moon is time to harvest.  You will reap whatever you have sown.   

Aries is a very “me first” placement.  It is important that you take into consideration what the effects of your action might have on others.  Aries can cause us to aggressively pursuit our goals and we are so focused that we forget how we or our actions might affect others.  Sometimes the ego can take control, and you may not listen to reason.  Be open to discussion with others.  Do not be closed minded or one-sided with your pursuits.  Listen to advice when others offer it.  You can learn a lot from others as they too have insights and information you may have overlooked.

There is one transiting aspect which is a semi-sextile to Neptune.  Semi-sextiles are often opportunistic aspects which point towards being in the right place at the right time.  Sometimes this works in magnificent ways.  Neptune’s energies can have wonderful mystical quality to them, especially when in Pisces.  This can be a time when mystical experiences occur, and you become involved or become further involved in mystical and psychic pursuits.  Take advantage of the energies that Neptune is supplying at this time.

TRAGIC EVENTS

We would like to send out our thoughts and prayers to everyone affected by the horrific event that took place in Las Vegas, Nevada.  The lack of understanding “why” only amplifies our inability to understand. 

We cannot allow ourselves to be engulfed in anger, hate and all other “reactive” emotions that go hand in hand with such an event.  We can be the light that is missing, the hope that is needed, the love that must grow.

ACTIONS DELIVERED THROUGH ANGER

Anger is an extreme discharge of emotion, without harnessed filters.  Anger usually rears its head at the most crucial point of a discussion or event and if we were to take a moment to review what is transpiring, we would be able to think more rationally, restrain ourselves and find a more productive solution.

Is anger an ego emotion? 

Does our anger define us? 

I believe the secret to controlling our anger is to recognize our personal triggers and telltale responses that lead up to our allowing anger.  Is anger inevitable when we reach a point in our emotional response? 

We eventually have to take responsibility for our own actions no matter what has lead up to the event.  We cannot blame anyone for our own reactions to events or statements, even if it seems as though they provoked us and caused us to act in these ways.

We, as humans, must take responsibility for all of our physical form reactions, but our inner core, our spiritual self would not react in anger.  Are our angered reactions then are a result of our damaged ego?  Our reaction is always a choice and if this is true, there cannot be a point of no return.  It is a choice to continue.  It takes a strong, focused individual, under some circumstances, to allow certain actions or statements to pass them by without an angered response.  The more we practice self-control, the easier it becomes.  When we are in alignment with our spiritual selves, anger, violent behaviours and acts of hostility just do not fit. 

We are spiritual by nature.  Our inner core is a match with the energy of source.  If we find ways of releasing tension through acts of kindness and compassion, we perfectly line up with source.  Beyond a doubt, it can be difficult and very few individuals reach this state on a constant basis. 

In reality, no one can hurt us emotionally without our permission.  Reach beyond the confines of knee jerk reaction, which would includes anger, and you will find your true sense of self.  It CAN be done.  With practice, you may questions why you ever responded in anger.

TRANSITING JUPITER CONJUNCT NATAL SUN

Transiting Jupiter is moving rapidly through the sign of Libra and into its final degrees of this sign.  It will then move into the sign of Scorpio on October 11, 2017.  Jupiter remains in the sign of Scorpio until November, 2018.  This post will define how Jupiter conjunct the Sun might share its energies.  We will not be defining the difference between the Sun in Libra qualities and the Sun in Scorpio qualities as you can find these on our web page, but we will be discussing this conjunction between Jupiter and the Sun in detail.

Jupiter is a magnificent planet not only from an Astrological point of view but even its sheer size in our solar system.  Jupiter in Astrology represents expansion and growth and is considered very fortunate in most circumstances.  It does, at times, but rarely make challenging conditions larger than life, but the rest of the chart would have to be deciphered and align with that energy before you can make that conclusion.

Jupiter is known as the great benefactor and brings with it good luck, opportunities for growth, expansion and a positive approach to life with its many attributes.  Those with strong Jupiter tendencies always seem optimistic even under the harshest of conditions.  They always believe something good is just around the next bend. 

When linked with the Sun, the opportunities for growth in personal terms are highlighted.  It brings prospects to life and acts as a catalyst with life objectives, offering goals that now have a greater chance for success.  This, as mentioned, can be found in personal areas of life when changing our personal prospective, spiritual awakening on some level, continued education and evolution brought on through energies that offer opportunities and general good luck. 

Since the Sun’s energies also focus on personal goals and aspirations, when Jupiter is connected with it, you may find that there seems to be a greater chance for success.  This might focus on business, occupation, strategies in life and just simple good luck in areas that are affected by this conjunction.  The house position of transiting Jupiter, as well as the house position of natal Jupiter, define the areas of life that will be involved for you personally.  Check to see how Jupiter is aspected in the natal chart.  This provides further information as to how these energies might be released. 

Quite often the health is robust with this influence and this is often a reflection of how life seems to be unfolding.  This is a good time for continued education, either by actually returning to schooling, or through travel and learning from experience. 

This is a time of conscious expansion, but at the same time watch for over-optimism or not using the energies being provided.  Life can feel so good that you do not feel as though you have to work at anything, which in some cases is the result of this conjunction.  Imagine what you can do with the energies if you put them to work in your life.

TRANSITING PLUTO SQUARE NATAL SUN

Pluto remains between 16-18 degrees of Capricorn for the remainder of 2017.  Those with their Sun in Libra and Aries will have this square affecting their natal charts.  We will not be defining the difference between having an Aries Sun or having a Libra Sun, but will discuss the square from Pluto.  The closer to exact (16-18 degrees), the stronger the intensity of Pluto’s energy.  As it moves past your natal Sun, its energies begin to wane off and by 2-3 degrees past exact, the energies are mostly finished, but this will be the time that you start to understand the meaning behind what took place.  It can take as much as 2 years to get the full picture of what this transit means if it affects you.

Pluto has a powerful influence as it passes across this area of your Sun.  The Sun deals with who you are, your ambitions.  It also deals with your sense of direction as you mature into yourself.  Pluto’s intent is to make you dig into the depths to find out just who you are and what makes you tick.  It pushes you to uncover your inner weaknesses as well as your strengths.  Its influence forces you to make transformations to yourself that eventually will make you stronger and more self-assured.  This may not be overly pleasant during the transition, as Pluto is subtle in its energies at first and then it intensifies as it asks you for honesty and then creates change.

Pluto is ego consciousness.  It is power driven and control driven.  Its influence will make its effects felt often through ego interactions with others or with yourself.  You may have to stand up and fight for your beliefs and even for your rights.  However, use discretion and diplomacy if at all possible or you might find that you have forceful opposition against you.  Powerful ego disputes often come to the surface especially when aggressive forces are at work.  If you try to push your will on others, you might find that you have a war on your hands.  Likewise, if others push their beliefs on you, you may have to stand up for your rights.  Power struggles are commonplace.

The Sun also governs your physical body and these powerful energies can take their toll on you physically, emotionally and mentally.  Some may need to seek professional help if the energies are too strong.  If this is the case, do not procrastinate and try to fight it on your own.  If you are struggling to no avail, reach out.  Sometimes others can provide you with the assistance you need and help you overcome these energies. 

Keep your body and mind strong at this time.  Physical exercise routines may be something you might want to put into motion.  It takes some of the stress of the body and you can be quite resilient under this influence.  You are stronger than you think.

Sometimes Pluto’s energies cannot be harnessed and life seems to deteriorate around you.  Pluto is affiliated with natural disasters, such as earthquakes, hurricanes and the natural decay of the building blocks of humanity.  This does not mean that these energies will be present in your life, but if Uranus and Mars are making challenging aspects in your chart as well, you may witness some form of breakdown of the norm in order to initiate a rebuild of something new and more sound. 

Although the energies of Pluto can be quite disruptive and challenging, they are also the building foundations for life after the fact.  Sometimes things have to deteriorate before something new can be built.  Pluto stands for transformation and regeneration and nearly always speaks of change.
