NEW MOON FEBRUARY 1, 2022

The upcoming New Moon in the sign of Aquarius at 12 degrees begins at 12:46 a.m. EST on February 1. This New Moon is linked to the start of activities, or the beginning of events set in motion with connections to the energies or qualities associated with the sign of Aquarius. Quite often what is initiated at this time has its harvest when the Full Moon is in the same sign some six months from now. What is put in place and the amount of energy and action taken over the next six month will define how the fruits of your labor materialize.

 

Aquarius is a fixed, air sign which has a need to advance a cause often associated with humanitarian concerns. TRANSITING SATURN TRINE THE MOON

Transiting Saturn is in the sign of Aquarius. We are focusing on the transit of Saturn trine to the natal Moon. If your Moon is in Gemini or Libra, T. Saturn, at some point between December 2020 and March 2023 will make a trine to your natal Moon.

 

Saturn in trine to the N. Moon is often harmonious in its expression, although Saturn does imply that you may have to put diligent efforts into your plans which in some cases related to the home and family.

 

This is a great time to lay the foundation that may apply to the family, especially where young children are concerned. The family holds special relevance under this aspect, and you must be thorough and consistent with them. This may include making things safer for them or providing them with an example to learn from you ultimately to build a solid foundation. If you have teenagers or young adults, teach them responsibility. TRUE INSPIRATION

TRANSITING SATURN CONJUNCT NEPTUNE

For those born between 1998 and 2012, there is a conjunction between transiting Saturn and natal Neptune. These individuals were born with Neptune in the sign of Aquarius, and many have already experienced this conjunction in their lives (Saturn is currently around the 11 degrees).

 

Saturn will remain in Aquarius until 2023, so we will look at this conjunction from an Aquarius point of view. It should be noted that some of this information applies to any conjunction between Saturn and Neptune regardless of the sign Neptune was in at the time of your birth. It is also important to recognize that this conjunction will most certainly affect people in different manners depending on their age. We are focusing in this post to those born in the early degrees of Neptune in Aquarius.

 

Aquarius’ energies focus on seeing the bigger picture and teaching us about collective principles, such as being righteous, honest, generous and open to universal truths (all concerns of humanity). Aquarius is about continuous learning and teachings based on these principles. Saturn will enforce study and collective learning because of Neptune’s influence. The two combined will also teach us about reality and the art of selflessness. When this transit has completed, you will likely recognize that spirituality has been taught and likely also challenged. The aim of this transit is to help you to see what is concrete in your life from a spiritual perspective.

 

Saturn does not work overly well with many planets and much of what unfolds during its influence will depend on the condition of Saturn in your natal chart (challenging aspect or positive aspects). How it manifests will depend on its general condition in the birth chart as well as other mitigating factors that may be affecting your chart at this time.

 

In some cases, this combination can produce somewhat undesirable moods as your outlook can be gloomy or tainted during this transit. Confusion and self-doubt are often by-products, as your confidence can be low. You can become uncertain about what is taking place in your life. Reality can be contaminated by what you are thinking, by what you are taking in and you may find some things upsetting. This could be termed a “reality check transit”, where you will have to define what in your life is worth hanging on to and what now needs change. This may not come easy as there are times when you discover that what you deemed important in the past seems pointless and irrelevant now. You search for something deeper, and self-discovery may be a big part of the process. This may be challenging at times because you might not like what you see initially but understand that before you can rid yourselves of these qualities or issues, you must first realize that they are there. In the face of adversity what is your best defense?

TRANSITING URANUS CONJUNCT NATAL MARS

Those individuals with Natal Mars within a five-degree aspect of Transiting Uranus would have a conjunction affecting their lives. The blending of the energies of Mars and Uranus is not always a pleasant combination. It can affect your actions as both planets are quite assertive and want to push ahead vigorously. Mars does tend to rush too much and when tied to Uranus the impulse is to propel forward without thinking. Often when these two meets you will act on a whim which can at times lead to unfavourable results. Taking time to think things through is advisable, as abrupt, impulsive actions often create mistakes.

 

If you have been thinking about acting on something importance and you have also taken the appropriate time to review what action you should take and have prepared accordingly, you may want to move forward with some disciplined action. This could be opening a business for example but be sure to take all steps necessary.

 

Check which houses are being activated by this transit and where Uranus is located in the birth chart. These will be areas of life being affected by this conjunction.

 

As mentioned, you may be a little too impulsive, and there is always the potential for accidents, when we rush. Mars and Uranus are similar in their actions and being careful is highly advised. Impulsive, rash behaviour can also suggests argumentative behaviours leading to fallouts in relationships. Uranus is somewhat tempered in the sign of Taurus as the energies of Uranus wants change and often through disruptive manners while Taurus is a sign connected to slow and deliberate action, steadiness and comfortable conditions is what it seeks. As you can imagine Uranus in Taurus is not all that comfortable.

 

Your temper can easily become aroused. Watch for this. Watch for putting your own concerns before those of others and make sure you always consider what affect you might have on others if you were to take specific actions. Taurus is a fixed sign, and you may feel as though you are correct in what you are doing and will not be swayed easily.

 

This is a powerful connection and can lead to unique discoveries, potentially in fields connected to science, computers, and astrology. Uranus wants to break free of any restrictive behaviour and the desire to move in new directions may be quite strong.

 

If, for example, the conjunction is in the seventh house, it is quite possible that a relationship is involved. This could be wildly romantic and sexually impulsive, but often when Uranus is involved it is usually temporary. There are strong sexual overtones attached to this combination especially if linked to the fifth or eighth houses in your chart.

 

The best advice is to move ahead with caution. It would be perfect if Saturn were involved in the equation.

 

If the Sun is also involved this could be the time to reach your objectives and once again if you have done your homework, things could work out favourably.

 

If the MC is involved this would make the link complete when it comes to moving forward in your career or schooling and reaching your goals in life or at the very least making the correct preparations for your future.

 

If the Moon is involved you can undoubtedly expect some change of direction, perhaps even a move and women may play an important part in these events, especially the mother.

 

You can do great things with this conjunction. If you are not ready to move forward, you will have to take your time to carefully plan and then move ahead slowly and constructively. Patience is required.

SUN IN AQUARIUS MINI FORECAST

 The Sun moved into the sign of Aquarius on January 19, 2022.

At the time of writing this post, transiting Saturn is conjunct Sun in Aquarius in the mid to later degrees. Saturn will also move into retrograde in June 2022 at 25 degrees and then go direct once again in the end of October at 18 degrees.

 

Saturn works more favourably while in retrograde. Those with their Sun in these degrees will find that there will be some work to be attended to involving personal issues and the path in life. There may be some difficulties and some stoppages along the way. It may feel like a testing period during this time, although much can be accomplished. The houses involved will define the areas of life affected.

 

At the same time transiting Uranus will be making a square to those with their Sun in Aquarius which went direct on January 18 at almost 11 degrees Taurus. T. Saturn and T. Uranus are closely linked together at around 18 degrees from late August to November, 2022. This can bring further challenge to the situation and a need for some drastic action or at the very least a change of attitude. Uranus is known as the awakener and rules Aquarius so these energies pushed forward will not be alien to the typical Aquarian.

 

Squares although challenging, push for action and the stress associated with this energy will need to be confronted and a formulated plan of action will be required. Sometimes the action necessary will seem to come out of nowhere and be quite unexpected, but the change and path forward will be favourable and necessary.

 

This may sound rather formidable, and it it is important to look at all aspects in place during this period along with what condition the Sun is in the natal chart to get a clearer understanding of how this might materialize. Change on some level is likely inevitable but also what is needed.
