TRANSITING PLUTO CONJUNCT NATAL JUPITER

The potential for success and growth during a conjunction between Pluto and Jupiter depends much on the effort and the approach you are using during this period.  You will have the ability to pursue your goals and aspirations when this aspect is in your chart, but will you move ahead with the energies offered?

TRANSITING PLUTO SQUARE NATAL SUN (Libra and Aries)

Transiting Pluto is currently in the sign of Capricorn and will remain in this sign for approximately another seven years. Those that are born with their Sun in Libra or with their Sun in Aries from approximately 8 to 29 degrees will be experiencing this square in their birth charts, at one point or another.  Remember, check the house position of transiting Pluto, the house position of your natal Sun and the house cusp that is ruled by Scorpio to get a clearer picture of what areas of life are affected by this aspect.

Pluto is known to purge and to assist in uncovering different facets of life.  It helps you to uncover information that needs an honest review and then expects that you make appropriate changes as necessary.  Pluto often brings an end to conditions in order for something new to emerge.  

Pluto in the square aspect often produces challenging conditions and also stimulates action particularly when it comes to your goals in life and who you are as an individual.

Pluto will test your resolve and your self-control.  Its energies will push you ahead in life when it comes to ambition.  Pluto can be somewhat relentless as it moves through the areas of life represented by the house positions involved.  There is often power struggles as your “will” is being tested.  If you force your opinions on others during this time, you will more than likely experience much opposition.  If, however, you are working for the general good for those involved, you may find that you do not have much disagreement coming from outside sources.

Under extreme conditions (this would only apply if there are other factors in the chart suggesting the same overall picture) you may find that you feel over-burdened and that you cannot continue along the same path.  This can lead to nervous disorders and an undoing of sorts which can be hard to put back together.  If by chance you fit into this category, seriously consider seeking professional assistance as a little assistance would make this aspect easier to handle.  Although squares are always considered challenging, it is up to us to handle these energies and take whatever action is appropriate for the situation.  Fighting these energies creates difficulty; recognizing the need for change and moving on this recognition, creates much easier flow.

SUN IN VIRGO, AUGUST 23, 2017 Part II (Forecast)

Part I of our Virgo focus was posted on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 and it touched on characteristics and other Sun influences in the Natal (birth) Chart.  Today we continue by taking a look at the aspect between transiting Neptune and the Sun in Virgo and its influence.

Those individuals with their Sun in Virgo from about 4 degrees to about 20 degrees have transiting Neptune in opposition to their Sun.  The weight of the world may be playing havoc in your life if your sun falls between these degrees in your birth chart.  This havoc often results in nervous ailments.  You may not have much energy due to not taking care of your health.  Some Virgos may experience improver diagnosis of issues or the wrong drugs being prescribed for an ailment.  Make sure that you have blood work done so that you get correct diagnosis of any issue.  The issues may not be serious as it could be as simple as low iron. 

Sometimes life’s pressures are magnified by relationship issues often brought on by third party interference or lack of honesty.  Lies and deceit can be part of the process of this aspect, but do not over analyse.  Make sure you have all the facts and your mind is not running wild with misinformation.  Sometimes confusion is a big part of what takes place with this aspect.  Make sure that you ask questions especially as for information from those that you trust.  Do not take anything at face value and be sure those you trust are deserving of your trust.

 

Some lose faith in life under the influence of this aspect and must guard against becoming overly critical of themselves and of others.  It is essential to push yourself and stay positive for if you do, this can also be a period of spiritual learning as a result of these experiences.  If you choose to join some religious or spiritual group, research the group and the programs they offer before you commit yourself.  Again, you could easily be led astray under this influence. 

Often times after some type of dysfunction, this transit will act as a stimulator or trigger to spiritual teachings.  Some Virgos will initiate a new course of action under this transit and develop a new sense of self through self-realization techniques. 

Remember to not be overly hard on yourself when you are self examining. 

Remind yourself that the difficulties this transit may bring have a beginning and an end.  Hard lessons frequently have a very beneficial end result.  Take advantage of the energies present at this time as this will be the only time you have this opposition in your chart.  Do not become self-delusional and do not get caught up in what feels like life’s fragmented state.  This will pass and the benefits will be a new understanding especially of self.  Your goals will be much more clear when Neptune’s transit is complete.

THE RIVER OF LIFE

No matter what our expectations may be, life is always on track.  There are always many twists and turns on the journey.  It certainly is not always a smooth ride; and after relentlessly paddling up stream and getting nowhere, we generally allow the boat of life to turn around and flow with the current.  Certainly, we have to have a little faith in that process.  The current (events in life) is set in motion to guide and assist us throughout our journey.  Our expectations and attitude can make the ride rather rough or they can make this journey enjoyable.

We can certainly make adjustments along the way but remember we will never conquer the current by trying to paddle up stream.  Our focus and our attitude towards the journey are what guide our boat.  If we are unhappy with our journey, we have to examine why we feel that way.  What expectations have we put in place?  What lesson do we need to learn to continue downstream?  Nothing within the river is there to hinder our journey.  The rocks are not there for our convenience or detriment.  They just are.  If we run into one, maybe it was time to stop and utilize the rock as an anchor to take time to appreciate the view. 

When we come to a “Y” in the river, we can take either route.  Both will lead us to the ocean.  One may have more rapids than the other but once we have committed there is no turning back.  You can’t place the blame on anyone or anything.  The route with the rapids may be more of a struggle but the lesson learned to navigate safely are invaluable. 

Life has many choices and paths to follow.  There are many avenues of expression along the river of life.  We cannot wish the obstacle to be gone but we can certainly learn to maneuver around them or use them to our advantage.    Remain positive throughout all of life’s experiences.  Stay true to yourself and do what must be done.  Never give in to negativity and remember, allowing is not a form of letting go.  You have what it takes to overcome all of the obstacles that come between you and contentment. 

If you get stranded as most of us do from time to time, do not be afraid to reach for the life lines thrown to you.  Remember, we are not alone in this journey.

SUN IN VIRGO, AUGUST 23, 2017 - Part One

Those born with their Sun in the sign of Virgo could well be defined as conscientious, as everything that they put their hearts into is well done.  They seek perfection in most all that they do.  They give attention to detail, although they can get carried away and become overly fussy. 

There is a tendency to worry too much because of this attention to detail.  They see every little flaw in life and in others but see this to an extreme within themselves.  They are quite thoughtful and caring individuals and have good intensions.  Virgo individuals can be of great assistance to anyone in need.  Because they truly care, some Virgos or Virgoans can become a little too interfering although their intent is simply to help.  Service on some level is a major part of their personality.

Virgo is an earth sign (along with Taurus and Capricorn) and is known to be practical, earthy, dependable, conservative and often sensual.  There is often a love for material comforts with aims to achieve financial security through dedicated hard work.  If they carry their need for security in life to an extreme, they can become overly materialistic and worry about being able to preserve their wealth.  As a result, some may begin preparing and saving retirement very early in life. 

Everything must have its place with the traditional Virgo.  If things are not in place, this is a clear indication that life is not in order and they are going through some sort of strife.

With the Sun in Virgo, there are a few other significators in the natal chart which might prove useful in determining specific characteristics.  Check the house placement of the Sun in the birth chart.  With any chart (not just Virgo), not only do we have the characteristics linked with our sun sign but the house placement carries the flavour of the natural sign ruler of that house.  If, for example, you have your Virgo Sun in the first house, you also have Aries characteristics linked with the Virgo characteristics.  A second house Sun will carry Taurus tendencies and a third house Sun will carry Gemini characteristics and so on. 

Also take into consideration the decan that your Sun sign is in; each 10 degrees are defined by decans.  If your Sun is within the first 10 degrees up to 9 degrees 59 minutes Virgo, you are a double Virgo.  If your Sun sign is in the second 10 degrees so 10 to 19 degrees 59 minutes, you are Virgo/Capricorn and if your Sun sign is in the third 10 degrees so 20 to 29 degrees 59 minutes, you are Virgo/Taurus.  This will bring to light more influences within the Sun sign delineation.
