MIXED FEELINGS

Are you questioning certain commitments that you have made to yourself?  Are you unsure of the direction life is taking you?  Do you feel lost yet determined to set things right?  What do you do next? It can be very challenging to stand firm under the pressures of life at times, and our commitment to staying on course can sway during these trying times.  Do not dismay if you find yourself feeling “off course” every now and again.  You are allowed to teeter here and there and veer off your “anticipated” path.  Actually every step you take is always on path. Some commitments are made under duress and some are even made under circumstance long since changed.  Some commitments just cannot be continued.  This does not make us a failure.  Some portions of the journey can be tough.  We are human and we will revert back to old ways or look back to old conditions.  As long as we catch ourselves and refocus, we can continue forward.  Many times in life, until we learn a specific lesson, the issue keeps resurfacing until the lesson has been learned.  Shoving an issue or hurdle under the proverbial carpet in the long run is not a solution.  Face life’s issues head on.  Deal with them immediate.  Only then can we put them behind us and continue our journey forward. If we are unsure of our life’s direction, spend time in silence.  Get away from the hustle and bustle.  We may not always have a great “ahha” moment in our silence, but we will receive clarity as to which way to turn.  Take baby steps forward.  We do not need to have the full path mapped out in front of us.  The course may already be set but it is each step that is the actual life experience not the final destination.  We have lessons to learn and will experience life through different channels but these lessons will be presented regardless of what course we take.  The lessons are necessary for growth and they can be taught on many different levels of understanding. As mentioned, we are never truly off track and although there will be times of utter confusion and deep feelings of being lost.  Life will shift and we will understand the reasons for these feelings.  Down the road a little further, one day, we may even understand the “why” behind certain events that at the time left us befuddled.  We are on an adventure with many twists and turns, yet every experience regardless of the challenges involved or the ease of flow we experience, takes us precisely where we are meant to be.  Have faith in the process and understand that we are always being guided. Eventually, we will see where we need to step next even though today we feel lost.  We will regain our momentum even though today we feel stuck.  We are never alone in our journey although we take each step ourselves.  Stay true to your convictions and accept what life offers regardless of what that may be.  We are on our way and nothing will stop us from achieving our required goals even if we do not understand what they are today.  Peace can accompany us every step of the way.  Are we allowing ourselves to experience that peace?

NATAL OR TRANSITING PLUTO CONJUNCT THE MIDHEAVEN

Is Natal or Transiting Pluto conjunct your Midheaven (MC)?

Pluto on the Midheaven at birth suggests an individual with a powerful presence especially in the working environment.  They will have the ability to transform the working environment not only for themselves but also for those that they either work for or work with.  This position speaks of leadership and the changes that can take place in this person’s life when they transform working conditions and regenerate this area of their life. 

There may be some struggles with personal wills when it comes to moving forward with their objectives but any challenges will facilitate changes required to further the evolution of the individual in question.  The actual process would be very deep and would describe changes and transformations on a fairly constant basis.  Any changes that do take place will be of a permanent in nature.  There would be no half measures with this ongoing process as the transformation is usually on a very deep and personal level.  It is also often life altering. 

This is a position of regeneration of the life goals.  This individual would gain recognition for their efforts with uncovering integral internal changes but these changes would usually require some participation from others in the working environment.  These individuals may find that there is some opposition to their efforts by their superiors and the best route to follow is one where the ego stays in the background.  The individuals with this aspect may have an approach which might be quite aggressive and this might also stand in the way of progress, but standing in the shadows is not what these individuals are meant to do either.

Much of their approach depends on the astrological sign involved.  For example, if Pluto is in Virgo, regardless of this aspect, this generation of individuals would proceed in a meticulous fashion, digging up material that needs alterations and strategic changes.  With a Virgo influence this would take place in a very organized manner.  Everything will have its place and their presentation would be accurate and detailed.  The Pluto Virgo individuals operate in a very orderly manner with expertise at their disposal.

Those with say Pluto in Scorpio may work below the radar and do things in a much more subtle manner.  They would go deep into what needs transformation and challenge tradition.  If they have this aspect, they would make suggestion on how the company would best work under most any condition.  They would be more subtle in their approach but have an impact that would not go unnoticed.  Their approach would be intense and also very complete.  Pluto Scorpio individuals would bring things to the surface that others may not even have noticed or dared to bring to the surface.  They may be more of the quiet type but would present an image of know-how and people would notice their presence.

When transiting Pluto is residing on the Midheaven, this period speaks of transformation in the working environment.  Depending on the overall conditions in the individuals chart, there would be powerful influences taking place that may involve disruptions and major changes to take place.  There may be disruptions with people in power or authority and difficulties simply based on varying opinions.  The changes that would take place could open doors for new positions of authority and may offer an opportunity to move up the corporate ladder into a management position. 

Pluto will uncover anything that needs to be transformed into a higher state.  This is done in order to move forward regardless of obstruction.  Pluto will facilitate change on one level or another.

BE CONSCIOUS OF YOUR FOCUS

If we allow ourselves a few moments to reflect on who we are, without condemnation, only paying attention to our most positive traits, what do you see? 

How does this positive look at yourself fit into your perceived notion of who we are? 

What frame of mind is this attitude originating from?

We have to take an honest look at who we think we are.  Once we are being open to this, we can eliminate or disengage ourselves from any preconceived opinion that leads to forming a negative attitude about what we believe is our true identity.

We are products of all of what we identify with (our actual focus in life).  Unfortunately, we believe that our “perceived impressions” are who we truly are.  We are misled by notions that any perceived negative manifestation must be a part of who we are.

We are in a constant state of “developing” and what we believe to be true, we create as our identity of our self due to our perpetual focus and through this perpetual focus, we create. 

If there is something in our makeup that clearly misrepresents who we want to be, then it is in our hands to make a conscious choice as to whether we will allow this trait to continue to manifest (in both physical and mental terms).  We are not at the mercy of our beliefs, unless we believe that we have no control of what transpires in our lives.

Who we think we are, is evidence of this.  Who we think we are now is a formulation from our current beliefs and it creates the perception of us for today.  We have manufactured this identity and it is our identification with this that allows us to perceive it as real.  We use the term “identify” over and over again.  If we understand the fact that our identification is what manipulates and molds us, we will understand why this term is used so frequently.  It makes us aware of the control we have over situations in our lives and the manufacturing of our perception of who we are becoming.

If there is something within us that does not sit well or does not feel right, we can let it go and stop believing that it is part of us.  We are the only person that makes anything in life truth for us personally.  We manifest our beliefs over time and where we are and who we are now flows in conjunction with what we have allowed into our consciousness.

The saying goes that we become who we associate with.  We are told this early in life.  We are told to pick our friends carefully as it is easy to form ourselves into what is in front of us.  However, we have actually chosen to take this characteristic from our friend and to make it our own.  It is all too easy to mirror what we see regularly.  Just as with our thoughts, we mirror or manifest into our personality that which we think. 

We control the building of all characteristics and traits into our lives.  Do not place responsibility on others for what you experience in your life.  What has happened in the past is in the past.  What we do, say, think, feel today is a product of a choice we are making today.  Let the events of yesterday stay where they belong..... in the past.  When we learn to channel our focus and our identification of self, our focus materializes on our new reality.  The choice is ours.

Look within and find what feels comfortable and content and then hold on to those qualities.  Let go of anything that does not resonate in your core.  We can release ourselves from the grips of these qualities.  We have been practicing this exercise our whole lives but not fully understanding our ability to choose and create.  Now it is time to understand that we are manifesting our own reality on a conscious level through our intentions.

THE IMUM COELI OR IC IN ASTROLOGY

The Imum Coeli more commonly known as the IC is usually found on the fourth house cusp (depending on the house system used by the Astrologer).  In the equal house system, it can also be found in the second, third and fifth houses, which will alter the influence of its meaning.  In most house systems, the IC is found on the cusp of the fourth house indicating a parent, arguably either parent, but in this Astrologer’s opinion, it involves the more submissive, mothering, caring parent.)  The fourth house cusp or IC also deals with the home, the family and your roots.

It is known as the basis or foundation of our life and although this area of the chart is considered quite private, it still has a dominant affect in our lives, especially when transiting planets make aspects to this area.  It should also be understood that this highly influential area while in aspect will not only affect our home and family (fourth house matters), but will also affect the opposite end of the spectrum, the MC (10^th house matters).  Transits to either of these areas of the Chart will affect the opposite ends of the Chart.  So when the home and family are being affected in our lives and security wavers, it may be due to demands from the MC, which deals with one’s status, occupation and ambitions.

When either the IC or the MC is receiving a conjunction from a transiting or progressed planet or a luminary (the sun or moon), the opposite will be receiving an opposition.  When one of the IC or the MC is receiving a square from a planet or luminary, the other will also be receiving a square.  When one is receiving a trine, the other will be receiving a sextile.  Hence the impact of a transiting planet or progressed planet will affect both areas of the Astrology chart.

The IC describe our most personal needs, as it is connected to the natural sign ruling the fourth house, which is Cancer, ruled by the Moon.  As a result, it defines emotional needs, nurturing characteristics, and our attitude towards family.  It will be colored by the sign ruling the fourth house cusp, as well as any planetary links found within the fourth house, particularly when a planet is conjunct within 2 degrees of the cusp on either side.  A planet or luminary within four degrees in the third house will also affect the IC.

If, for example, Uranus were conjuncting the IC, it would be in opposition to the MC.  We could, as a result, expect changes sometimes drastic in nature to the home and family, such as a move and influences in our occupation and status in life.  These changes could be of a rather sudden nature and a need for freedom and breaking free in order to create change would be on the agenda.  Much would depend on the overall conditions of Uranus in the birth chart and its location by house and sign.

The IC and MC, particularly in early life, depict incidents linked to the parents which in turn will affect the child.  This parental influence on a child shifts as we mature.  The influence widens in such a way that we are no longer just influenced by the parents that dictate our lives, but we are also now affected by an extended version of the family and our place in the overall structures of life.

Much emphasis is given to the MC and the Ascendant in an Astrology chart.  We also, however, have to consider the IC and the DC when deciphering what impact planetary movement will have in our lives.

FULL MOON - SEPTEMBER 14, 2019

Astrologers have noted that a Full Moon can be described as a culmination of events (time to harvest) which should have began some six months ago (when the New Moon was in the same Astrological sign as the current Full Moon).  What was begun six months ago should now be at its completion.  Our efforts, depending on how we prepared and the work that was put into nurturing the project, will now be reaped. 

If we did little to activate growth and did little to promote a healthy growing period, we may now have to rethink our project or place more commitment into it in order to reach the next stage of development.  Have we nurtured our life’s garden, will we make major changes or scrap what was begun?

If we put much love and effort into the growth of our goals, we will have a good harvest to enjoy now.

Much will also depend on the Zodiac sign involved as well as which other planets are involved when experiencing the Full Moon.  This is not only reflective in the planets and signs involved through transit (the movement of planets through the natal chart) but also by planetary placement or angle displacement (ASC, MC, IC or DC) in the birth (natal) chart.  Connections within the birth chart should be no more than 3-5 degrees to the Full Moon’s placement on September 14, 2019 at 12:35 a.m.   This harvest moon will be in the sign of Pisces.  The aspects to consider should also only be a conjunction or opposition although the trine and sextile have a somewhat lesser influence.  In general, this is particularly true when it comes to eclipses, although with eclipses the trine and sextile are not an influence at all.

The Piscean placement of this Full Moon often speaks of spiritual influence or psychic stimulus although it can also speak of particulars being vague or things being unclear.  Pisces is an inspirational sign which carries with it the elements of emotional intensity and a high degree of sensitivity to whatever is unfolding in life. 

This Full Moon will be conjunct Neptune and as a result, there may be a degree of uncertainty or illusion attached to whatever is taking place.  Be sure to have someone you know, and you trust will not take advantage of the situation, provide you with some guidance as there is often a sense of illusiveness or on the contrary insightful experiences at hand.

With Neptune, which is in currently conjunction this placement, as well as Pluto which is sextile to this placement, there certainly might be an element of change and quite possibly a magical element attached to the area of life involved (defined by the houses involved).  Check your chart to see the position of the Full Moon and also the houses of transiting Neptune and transiting Pluto as this will help define what areas of life are involved. 

Transformations are likely taking place and sometimes a new beginning is unfolding after a death of sorts has taken place.  The old has to die before something knew can be born.  This of course is not literal, but something has to be completed and finalized before a new path can unfold.

The Piscean Full Moon is at 21 degrees and again will be direct on September 14, 2019.  Have a close look at your chart and see how this might work favourably for you, or what you might do so as not to be deceived by what might seem to be elusive, or in contrast, highly spiritual.

ONE STEP FURTHER

During our steady climb to the summit, there are certainly times when we feel a sense of belonging and comfort within our environment.  When we refer to our environment, we are not referring to our place in society or our location on earth.  We are referring to our connection to our inner selves on an innate level of understanding.

It is these inner truths that we seek.  It does not matter where we have set our earthly feet for this inner exploration.  What we have gained on a material level has nothing to do with our concept of self.  

With the ongoing exploration of self, we strive for the summit of understanding and slowly develop a connection with our inner self.  Our soul’s energy is our true identity and when we open the door to self-perception, we allow this energy to emerge and connect with our earthly self.

This brings us one step further in our connection with the whole, the divine, God, our source, or simply put “love”.  Use the name that you are most comfortable with. 

To reconnect as one, as the whole, is our destiny as spiritual beings.  The more peace we allow ourselves to experience and the less we identify with ego, the closer we align with our true self.  The closer we align with our true self, the closer we are aligned with the whole.    

We understand that the inner battles we wage actually do not serve any viable purpose.  They never have, but we become so caught up in the battle of our own making, we cannot see beyond it.   These battles only create havoc.  To find our inner peace, we must grow through love.  Through love, our ego no longer defines life by fighting to keep control, fighting to be right, fighting to win the battle.  In truth, there should never be a battle.  The only battle that exists is the one we have put in place and have chosen to follow.

Ego takes its descending steps and lets go of its grip when we take our steps forward in faith.  Letting go and letting love (Source/God) is our hardest lesson, at least up until this point in time.  We will, however, recognize or understand that life will lead us to the place we are meant to come to understand, once we have learned to allow. 

We will eventually recognize, then allow and accept.  Once the conscious decision has been made, it is not a difficult task.  We have never actually been lost.  We have just been living under the veil of ego.  If we look with our hearts, we can easily recognize the devious ego.  Once we have this recognition, it is easier to define ourselves without ego. 

We have stated many times (and will undoubted repeat it many more), we are a spiritual being living an earthly existence, certainly not the other way around.  Do not cage your energetic self.  Open your heart and allow.

TRANSITING CHIRON CONJUNCT THE MIDHEAVEN

Chiron, a comet known in Astrology as the wounded healer, while in transit takes between 49 to 51 years to make a full cycle around the Zodiac.  As a result, at most, you can have the conjunction to the MC twice in your life unless of course Chiron is in its retrograde cycle while it crosses your MC. 

In the natal chart, Chiron is representative of your most challenging wound and the work you must put into healing this wound.  Some say that the wound can never be healed and we are better at healing others than healing ourselves depending on the house your Chiron is located in.

Many people believe that in order to help others with their issues, we must at some point have needed to help ourselves in a similar fashion.  Without experience in that particular area, how can we truly be of help to others? 

In order to help ourselves or heal ourselves, we first have to recognize what the wound is.  We can’t heal something until we first accept what needs healing. 

Depending on which house and aspects are involved with Chiron in our natal chart, we may have to work on ourselves from a mental perspective first and recognize that our mental conditioning has a powerful influence on what we believe we can do.  If Chiron is poorly aspected in the Astrology chart then there is more than normal work needed in order to heal our personal wound.  If Chiron is nicely aspected perhaps the healing is easier to come by, but do not let the aspects in your Astrology chart hold you back.  Anything can be healed, and this healing always begins with your perspective.

The MC (Midheaven) deals with our occupation, our goals in life and is the most public place in an Astrology chart.  It is also how the general public perceives us through what we have achieved in life.  When our MC is activated by transiting Chiron, it can show itself as pain or healing.  With most people, unfortunately, pain is the first most evident. 

Chiron aspecting our MC can be a time to release tension or anxiety.  It can also be associated with our goals in life and the path we choose to manifest or not to manifest.  Our destiny or preconceived notion of what we believe we are capable of achieving always has the potential to materialize.

Since the MC as well as the IC deal with the parents, one of the parents, (the most dominant one) may be the source of healing required under this connection.  The healing may be connected to a past perceived wrong; perhaps we were not treated well or not given enough love and affection, in our opinion.  This would have had an influence on our lives.  It may be time to shed these concepts to heal the wounds and rid ourselves of this feeling of lack. 

We do not have to hold on to hurt any longer than we choose to.  It is a choice.

 

Sometimes we need forgiveness or we are the ones that need to forgive.  Whatever needs healing under this connection, we can take advantage of the energies at hand with this conjunction.  If we do utilize the energies, we may come out the other side much stronger and also find compassion perhaps where there was little prior to our personal work.

If the occupation is what needs healing then perhaps we will need to make adjustments to our work or move out of the situation, by changing jobs.  If our attitude is what needs adjusting then we need to make that adjustment and heal our wounds before we leave the work place or it may reappear in our next job.  We cannot simply run from adversity.  We need to face the issues head on and take action accordingly.
