LOVED ONES

Throughout life, there will be situations that we struggle with.  Most of us experience lost romance at some point, especially when we are young, and the loss is so intense that we hold on hoping that things will change and these individuals will miraculously come back to us.  Sometimes this does happen, and it is usually when we finally let go and accept.  Letting go often opens the door to what lies next.

 

As we mature and with some earlier than others, we undergo a heavy period when our parents become old and fragile and are no longer able to take care of themselves without help from outside sources.  We know that it is only a matter of time and their journey will be over.  We do our best to show them we love them and do what we can to help them in whatever ways are possible.  Eventually they pass over and we go through the process of this personal loss.  In the long run, we adjust and learn to let go, even if we know that they are energetically still with us.  We must let go of them in physical terms.

 

Some of us lose close friends and family as time passes and once again, we are faced with even more challenging conditions.  Losing our parents is emotionally hard but so is losing other family members and close friends. 

 

In some cases, we were able to prepare for the final day.  Other times, a loved one’s passing happens unexpectedly, and we might not even have had a chance to say our goodbyes.  Our loved ones certain want us to move along and let go of what was.  As hard as it may be, it is imperative that we live in the present and let go of what was but that doesn’t mean we cannot carry the love.

 

These events can be emotionally difficult, and no one can tell anyone how to deal with these situations.  We must reach deep within and find our own answers and go through our own process.  The one thing in common to all these experiences is that we have to accept, let go and move on.  Some hold on to the pass so tightly.  They feel they cannot let go of what was and then they forget to live themselves.

 

We will never forget but time and acceptance does soften the rough edges. 

 

If we look at death realistically, it is inevitable.   Yes, it is important to mourn our losses (as the mourning is for what we will miss not the loved one that has passed on) but then remember to celebrate the individual that we loved so dearly and be grateful for all that was shared with them.  Would they not want us to celebrate them as opposed to suffering because of their graduation to the next level of their existence? 

 

Our loved ones are never far away and when we think of them, they are even closer.  Do not be afraid or uncomfortable talking to them.  They hear you and communicate with you in their own way.

 

If you are at a crossroad and someone near and dear has passed on, acceptance will open doors that would otherwise be closed.  Acceptance allows us to keep living.  Our recovery period awaits us.  Acknowledge deep in our hearts that we are strong enough to see this through. 

 

We are never alone, and we can always reach out for help if we are having difficulty finding our own light. 

 

Our loved ones are at our side always. 

 

Live within each moment in time.  Appreciate life’s wonders as they are ever present if we choose to see them.  Life is to be lived. Life is to be celebrated, not mourned.

TRANSITING SATURN (RETROGRADE) THROUGH THE HOUSES

  

We are continuing our look at Saturn from August 7, 2020, when we touched on Saturn Retrograde.  Today we will focus on the houses and their influence with transiting Saturn Retrograde.

 

Saturn in the tenth speaks strongly of opportunities with the career and personal status.  Saturn in the second speaks of potential for extra income and opportunities to establish yourself which in turn provides a greater feeling of satisfaction and security.  Saturn in the sixth speaks of opportunities to make personal changes in the working environment and with co-workers.  In some cases, you can seek out help from those who you work with, if this is a requirement.

 

If you find Saturn while in retrograde passing over your Ascendant or moving through the first house, this can be a time of personal improvement and establishing yourself by how you represent yourself to the public.  Saturn in retrograde passing over the Ascendant might be a time you push yourself to join an exercise program and decide to look after your body as sometimes when Saturn moves over the Ascendant (the health centre) in direct motion it can indicate some struggles in health related matters.  Other factors, however, must be in place for this to have any real profound effects on the body.

 

If Saturn is moving through the seventh house this is a time for self-improvement and this can have effects on your marriage and with close personal relationships and even business partnership.  You can have a serious approach to what needs to be done and how to go about doing what needs revamping.  Saturn is always serious and there are no halfway measures about what it asks you to do.  See this as an opportunity time, a time to improve conditions in your life and a time when you can rid yourself of unwanted material that now makes up part of who you are.  As Saturn passes over the IC this will be the strongest effect unless you have other planets in the seventh house.

 

If Saturn is moving through the third house this might be a time for study and making changes to your everyday activities.  Perhaps higher education is on the profile especially if the ninth house is part of the message being sent.  Listen carefully to what your mind is telling you and abide.  This time can have profound effects down the road and what you do now will make a difference later on. 

 

If Saturn is moving through the fifth house or affecting the fifth house by aspect, then this might be a time to tighten up your relationship with your lover.  It may be a time to move to the next level or if the relationship is poor and cannot be repaired perhaps this is the time to let go and move on.  Your children being part of the fifth house influence may be an area of focus and perhaps you might want to lighten up on them, give them more breathing room and know that they are on their own road as you are.  Sometimes they need to learn from their own mistakes.  Saturn is the greatest teacher although the lessons brought forth may not be that enjoyable.

 

If Saturn is in the eighth house or the twelfth perhaps this is a time for deep inner reflection and relying more on your intuitive insights and learning how to find yourself in a more deep and profound level of understanding.  Saturn in the eighth can speak of dealings with shared matters including joint finances and this can be a time when you make changes or decide to join forces in order to make your money work better for you.  On the contrary you may want to separate your funds from your partner and become more self-sufficient.

 

Saturn in the eleventh or affecting planets in the eleventh may speak of joining a group of people who are like minded and share the same or similar interests as you.  This may be business related and affect you in personal terms as time passes.  Shared interest groups can help in many areas and it is never too late to join in with those that share your personal space and time.

 

These indicators of course are just preliminary and surface.  Life runs much deeper, but this provides you with insight on how to use Saturn in a positive sense especially while in its retrograde cycle.

SATURN RETROGRADE (Part one)

Saturn has been in its retrograde cycle since May 11, 2020 and will remain in this cycle until it goes direct on September 29, 2020.  It will be moving from almost 2 degrees Aquarius down to 25 degrees Capricorn and enter Aquarius once again in direct motion on December 19, 2020. 

 

Saturn has an orb from 5 degrees approaching and 2 degrees separating when it is affecting your natal positions.  Some Astrologers suggest that when Saturn is two degrees past direct, it is at its strongest influence.  As a result, let’s say that you have a planet at 26 degrees.  It then would be at its strongest at 28 degrees when dealing with Saturn.  This is due to its delaying effects.  You be the judge of when Saturn is at its peak influence.

 

Saturn unlike other planets operates at its premium while in retrograde motion.  Saturn while in retrograde still presents some restrictions and delays but with an extra effort the results can be more rewarding, and the time spent more productive.  Saturn presents obstacles and roadblocks wherever it is in the natal chart, and depending on the aspect configuration, will be the area of life that is under some pressure and requires the most work to overcome.

 

Since Saturn will primarily be in the sign of Capricorn and this time frame is also when it leaves Capricorn not to return to this sign for approximately 29 years, we will discuss some of the effects a Capricorn Saturn might have.  Capricorn is associated with career and work duties and may also speak of the working environment itself especially if the sixth house is involved.  Capricorn has to do with duty, obligation and responsibility one might have in the working environment.

 

During its retrograde cycle, this might be a good time to think about career shifts or more duties and an increased workload.  Although some of this may not be too pleasant this can be a time when you receive recognition for your hard, diligent effort.  You always have to do the work when you speak of Saturn issues or related subjects. 

 

Opportunities may be coming your way if you use these energies appropriately.  Do not forget this is when Saturn’s positive energies can be released and if you put forth the effort you may enhance your chances of moving in a direction that is more fulfilling and offers up growth down the road.  Saturn while in retrograde will help build a more solid foundation that often stands the test of time.

 

Because of added responsibility or more of a work load, you may find that you are more resilient and have greater inner strength than you might have thought possible.  Saturn often offers rewards of significance where due and during this period this may come to the surface.  However, it will as always be in your hands and you can not expect someone else to do the work for you.  You are responsible for your own life.

 

You may find that the potential for an increase in income is possible although once again you have to prepare, set goals and think about the route you might want to take.  Do not sit back and wait.  Now is the time to move forward with your plans if you have been formulating a plan of action prior to now.  Things may flow more smoothly now than when Saturn goes direct once again in September, but do not rush.  Rushing is never a good idea when Saturn is involved.

TRANSITING MARS SQUARE PLUTO USED POSITIVELY

 

So much has been written about the challenging conditions linked to Mars and Pluto in square to one another that we thought we would shed some more light on this aspect which intensifies mid-August 2020.  There is no denying the potential for some fireworks during this time, and Saturn is also in aspect by square to Mars as well.  However, we can always look at life from whatever vantage point we choose to focus our attention on and even something that at first appears to be negative, over time will unravel in such a way that it was what was required at that time in order for something new to begin.

 

We thought we would touch on what we could do during this influence if we have promising or positive aspects linked to this positioning at 23 degrees in our birth chart.  Trines and sextiles to this position especially from Jupiter or our Sun can promote learning opportunities that might not otherwise have been present.

 

All three planets in transit now (Mars, Saturn, and Pluto) are all about power, brute force and lessons, but if power is used in an suitable manner,(not to be used as power over another individual to gain momentum or control of situations) this aspect can promote opportunities to fight injustice for example, among other things. 

 

This however should not be a signal to gain momentum towards any type of violence or aggressive interaction.  Powerful speakers can share the stage and promote solutions that outweigh any type of aggression without force.  However, we will need someone who has a voice that filters through even the harshest of criticisms and is not afraid to stand up to less than positive aggressive forces.

 

This would certainly have to be a special person (perhaps someone such as Oprah or Deepak or a strong spiritual figurehead) to move these powerful energies surfacing in our world even as we speak.  Mars promotes action although often more in line with force and Pluto deals with Power while Saturn speaks of leadership and steadiness through hard work.  None of these, however normally work favourably without a diligent effort.

 

There is also a big difference between these planets in transit to one another.  Mars in transit is short lived under most conditions unless it goes into retrograde.  Pluto or Saturn in transit making aspects to our natal Mars on the other hand are in force for extended periods of time.  The longer the influence the greater the potential for long lasting effects.  The longer transits may be the more challenging when they relate to our natal chart, but we also have time to refocus and find solutions that might not be as easy to realize in a short period of time.  The energies are at their peak from August 9 through to August 22, 2020.  The transiting Sun will be trine transiting Mars around August 16 and in quincunx to Pluto, so some kind of adjustment needs to surface for a more gentle expression of these energies to manifest. 

 

It will be interesting to see how this plays out in our world at large and of course in our own personal natal chart.

STAND BY YOUR CONVICTIONS

 

First and foremost be true to yourself.  There is no greater reward than knowing you are yourself regardless of what the ego might want you to believe.  You are you and nothing can take away any part of who you truly know yourself to be but you.  Be true to your principles and stay strong with your beliefs and all that you stand for.

 

Know yourself and be confident in that knowing.  If you don’t like what you see take note, make changes where needed and allow you to be you.  In the end, you will be who you want to be, so build on that.

 

Stay steadfast regardless of life’s intrusions.  Find a place within that feels comfortable, that feels right and connect to that.  You can be your true self once you acknowledge that this person is already a part of you.  Your idea of the perfect you would not exist if this was not who you are already deep within.  You as a human are what you believe you are capable of being, nothing less, nothing more.

 

You alone walk your personal road.  You alone allow your inner light to shine.  You alone can allow yourself to rise above any limitation you have placed on yourself.  It is in your hands and it always has been.  Move in the direction that fits who you are and don’t settle for anything less.  Release yourself from ego.

FULL MOON IN AQUARIUS AUGUST 3 2020

 

There is a full Moon today, August 3, 2020, and since this Full Moon is found in the sign of Aquarius and Aquarius is a fixed Air sign, our emotions will not be as sensitive as though they could have been if, for example, the full moon were in the water signs of Cancer, Scorpio or Pisces. 

 

On a personal level, and of course the whole chart must be considered, this is a rather cool emotional position and because Aquarius is concerned with large masses and humanitarian concerns, the full moon’s energies may be conducive to finding the undeniable truth when it comes to altruistic concerns involving minorities or those in need. 

 

There most certainly has been a lot of awareness regarding black lives matter and this influence could be the time when we reminder ourselves that we are all human and our colour or race or origin does not play into it.  We may recognize our individuality and also know our distinctiveness in our world, but when it comes right down to it, we are all in the same ocean in our own boats and everyone on some level is being affected by the current storm in our lives.

 

This Full Moon will arrive at 11:59 a.m. EDT. 

 

This Full Moon is also making a square to transiting Uranus at 10-degrees Taurus and the Vertex at 12-degrees, so this Full Moon is making a direct square to the midpoint of Uranus and the Vertex.  Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius and this planet is often associated with unexpected change and diverse actions which sometimes comes in a rather quick and sudden fashion.  The Vertex speaks of a turning point and is sometimes related to someone coming into our life that we may have known from the past, who tends to move things along.

 

Uranus always bring change where change is a requirement and although we may not always like what is taking place in our life when Uranus is involved especially by square, the energies in place may be powerful enough to bring a much needed change of direction which may be long overdue.  This could be a turning point in our life if our natal chart is being stimulated by this lunar experience. 

 

Full Moon’s energies also speak of a culmination point where we will see the fruits of our labour and how they fit into our life.  Check to see which houses are involved including transiting Uranus and the Vertex.  We would need a natal planet or angle within three degrees of this positioning by conjunction, square or opposition to have a profound effect from this Full Moon’s energies.  The more planets involved in this equation in our chart, the stronger the effects.  Without any involvement in the natal chart, not much would be noticed for us personally.

 

This is the time for action and whatever we have been working on or focused on will now have an impact and any change that takes place will be what was needed although it may take some time to recognize this. 

 

Use these energies wisely and move forward in new directions more suitable for where life is pushing us.
