As we become more aware of our connection with our source,
we become more accustom to staying open for truth to flow through. We undoubtedly will encounter snags along the
way, but we still can recognize where these snags are coming from and why. In general, the ego tries to prohibit our
recognition and our processing of truth.
The ego tends to view this process as threatening and will intervene in
whatever way it deems appropriate for its control.
During our development, it appears that we are become more
aligned with source when in fact we are always aligned with source; however,
when we are so wrapped up in this material world we fail to recognize
this. As we develop awareness and
acknowledge that the process is simply recognition of forgotten information as
opposed to the learning of new information, our awakening will be much more
smooth and we will not have as many issues realizing the origin of truth or hearing
its call. It is available to everyone as
it exists within each of us.
As we open ourselves to our awakening story, we begin to hear
the quiet voice that whispers for our attention. The voice is somewhat subdued because it has
been stifled by ego. The ego will use
any method to remain in control and creating fear is usually its strongest
defense. It will relentlessly suggest
that the true source is imagination or even suggest that source does not exist with
the hope that it can defer your progress.
As we become more open to truth, we begin to recognize this interference
if we chose to pay attention. With
recognition develops the strength to push aside this interference more readily
as we realize that it is not part of our true self.
With acceptance our journey can be quite simple. With focus, an open mind and quiet moments we
can to listen to that gentle voice within that is always assisting us on one
level or another. This inner voice is
all that is positive in your thoughts and it reconfirms truth for each of us.
If you do not like what you hear, you are hearing the
whispers of ego. Gently release the
ignorance of ego. It is as simple as
that. It has to be an easy process as
this process is available to everyone regardless of intellectual ability, mental
approach, or even age, although generally, the very young are not yet challenged
by ego. The young minds are open to truth. As people they respect and look up to, we should
and can influence an attitude that fosters alignment with truth and source at a
very early age. Take a moment to
experience a meditation session with a young child. You will be amazed at their openness and the
experience. Feed their curiosity.
Stay true to that loving whisper. Allow the door to perception and love to
remain open.
