FRIENDSHIP

There are many different types of friendships.  There are those that we may call friends that are simply acquaintances, those that are related by blood or marriage and those that hold a special place in your heart (those we have choose to have a relationship with that is just as close as family and in some instances, even closer).  Some individuals show up when we need them on some level in our lives (the living guides).  Often they serve a specific purpose in our lives and we are forever grateful to them but theirs is not a permanent relationship.  Once their job (and ours for the matter) has been completed, they move on.  Their purpose can be ever so subtle, but relevant none-the-less

Some of us believe that our close relatives such as brothers, sisters, cousins, of course our parents, whether biological or not have been brought into our lives for specific purposes and will play significant roles throughout life.  It is suggested that we have called upon one another and have been brought back together in this life to serve a purpose.  These relationships do not necessarily have to be easy flowing but beneficial in some way.

These people are from our past and have other lifetimes with us.  We could call them our spiritual family circle that runs together over time working with one another through karmic ties.  These individuals are very important to us.  They can add love and they can also challenge us to grow.  However every part of the relationship is important.

We will encounter many important souls in this life and those that remain close, even though separated by distance, hold a special place in our hearts and us in theirs.  Our significant other and our immediate family are of special importance as they will play the most profound part in our evolving story, again whether it be easy flow or a challenge.  These individuals usually form our soul group.

Recognize each person’s significance.  Each one of them has a specific purpose that holds great meaning in our life today.

Each and every one of us is precisely where we need to be at this moment in time.  Remember nothing is by chance.  We are here now, doing what we are doing, not by change but for a reason.  We may not understand the reason behind our current place in life.  We see such a limited portion of the full picture of the purpose of our lives, is it really important to know all of the details? 

Rather than fight the circumstances in our lives, accept them for what they are.  We can change our attitude about these conditions and then take each opportunity for change that materializes or opens up to us.  We know that change is inevitable in life so opportunity will present itself.

As long as we fight the flow of life and do not accept our lot in life, the more struggles we create.  Inevitably we will learn what this life is meant to teach us.  We can follow the lessons eagerly or we can kick and scream, fighting the lesson but eventually learn it anyway. 

As we fight the lessons that are meant to be learned, life will present us with the challenges we are focused on and offer us more.   We simple give these challenges strength by focusing our attention on these areas of life.  By accepting them, we will actually see them as they are and open the door for change and a new direction, if this is what you truly want.

The proverbial door that has held us in is always ready to open, but first we must accept our lessons in life without judgement.  Our soul in its wisdom has picked this life and so by taking responsibility for these choices, we make way for the potential that lies ahead.  We are not slaves to life; we orchestrated it.  Believe that there is more and let the door open.  There are no obstructions but the ones we have placed in front of ourselves.

Our current life’s conditions are learning tools.  We can change any part of our lives, if we allow ourselves the ability to focus on potential rather than our fear.  Take control.  Push aside the ego’s interference.  Make choices based on clear positive decisions.  Do not live in fear for all of our thoughts eventually manifest into reality.

Ages 67 - 70 in Astrology

Around the ages of 67 to 70, we will experience first square of Saturn to itself after the Saturn return which would have been experienced around the ages of 58 to 60.  Squares are always challenging and this square marks a turning point in life when we can understand the relative state of the body and its functions.  Physical aging is now apparent but not necessarily great.  We generally accepted the aging process by this stage.  Dreams that we may have had that could be categorized as “reaching” are now recognized as such and we no longer hold on to anything that does not hold relevance in life.  This can be painful for some of us, but by now we have been through many things in life.  Letting go of a dream that is no longer attainable when utilizing the wisdom we have attained over the years make it far less challenging.  We are also provided with help from the quincunx of transiting Neptune to its birth position.

Much of the ease of life depends on whether we have taken a hard stance in life or if we have learned to go with the flow.  By now we should have learned to acknowledge our boundaries and our body no longer works seamlessly.  Yes, we are aging, but we can do so graciously. 

Inner beauty is far more important than our outward appearance.  We should always rely on what makes us unique as an individual.  We should by now have found our true identity which rocks compassion not only for others, but also for self.

By this age, we hopefully are no longer searching for self and are comfortable with whom we truly are.  We realize that the most important opinion we should seek is our own.  Many at this age feel exuberant and alive although the limits of the body are apparent, but acceptable.  Some of us develop illnesses and our bodies remind us of the repetitive or hard work we have carried out over our lives but the extent of these experiences can certain depends greatly on our attitude.  We are more aware of these subtle workings and pay attention to our thought processes and our attitude far more than we did previously.

We are beginning to master life’s intricacies and few would call us foolish for we have, to a great extent if we have cared to engross ourselves in self study, learned most of the angles to help us though life.  This is a time for inner reflection rather than outer appeal.  Philosophy becomes more of an interest.  We have the opportunity to read more and spend time learning topics that truly interest us, for the mind is forever young. 

At this age, we are living from a more relaxed state of being and we have learned not to take life quite so seriously.  We have reached a stage of maturity that many long for.  We have a greater understanding, more appreciation for life’s gifts, large and small, and we have a joy for the simple things in life. 

We are not old at this age but we are mature and it is a wonderful experience.

THOS WAITING ON THE OTHER SIDE

Many have shared their experiences of visits from those on the other side.  It is actually more common than you would think.  Many individuals rarely speak of their experiences due to what others might think.  However, when in the company of those that openly discuss their experiences, those that are more hesitant will share experiences of various types, of contact from family members, close friends and guides from the other side of the veil. 

Many wonder why these events seemingly are more commonplace and why the veil between existences appears to be becoming more thin.  It is has been suggested that the human race as a collective whole is evolving on a subconscious and a conscious level.  In the past many might have kept quiet about their experiences, whereas now we are more comfortable and not intimidated to speak our truth.

Our loved ones are never far away and many of us feel their presence regularly.  Some believe that this is another reality or another dimension in time and space which vibrates slightly higher than our own existence.  When we raise our vibration and shake off the shackles of day to day living, we can parallel the subtle vibrations of those on the other side.  It is during these moments that we experience their presence.

Some individuals have witnessed the passing of an individual.  When the time comes when this individual is ready to pass over, there is a feeling that something is about to happen.  Some have even witnessed a grayish-blue smoky material being released from the body at the moment of passing.  Others speak of seeing a light leave the body.  When the energy leaves the body, there remains but a shell and their presence has gone completely.

Some believe that at our passing from this earthly plain, there will be those souls that have passed before us patiently waiting for us.  Energy never dies.  How can we, as energy, as pure essence, cease when we die?  Do we begin anew?  Do we awaken from our earthly life? 

We will never truly know what life after this earthly existence actually is until we experience this guaranteed life event.  I personally have no doubt that there is existence after this life.  I have seen things that have eliminated any doubt. 

Stay open to all possibilities.  We are evolving on a global level, each at our own rate of speed.  Many of us feel this shift. 

Allow the truth to find you simply by being open and letting go of control.  The door opens only when we are ready.  No amount of “wanting” can force this to occur faster.  Seeking love and making connection with our source helps to open the door to perception.  Listen to the subtle voice that speaks so quietly for it may be missed.

  

Although life as we know it will end one day, our energy will continue on.  Being in the moment helps us to live a true life experience.  Our loved ones are always with us.  We are never alone.

HOLD ON TO YOUR DREAMS

Do you have dreams?  What are they?

It is important to follow your dreams.  Do not allow obstacles to stop you from seeing your dreams through.  Pushing forward and manifest your dreams.  By setting your intentions and allowing the process to unfold at the appropriate time, you allow the opportunities to present themselves.

Are you willing to follow through on your dreams?  Will you stand the test of time or will you bend under pressure? 

We all have the ability to make things happen. We are the only ones that will inhibitor the unfolding of our dreams through fear, through disbelief, through attitude.  Follow through especially with the belief that your dreams are possible is the key to success and every person that has ever made something happen has held on to the belief that it can and will happen.

Set your course.  Entertain your thoughts.  Believe that you are in a position to accomplish these dreams.  You hold the key.  You have the answer.  Nothing will stop you if you remain steadfast, openly believe and focused.  You have nothing to lose and everything to gain by following your dreams.

FULL MOON IN VIRGO ON FEBRUARY 22, 2016

As we have stated before, a Full Moon brings to fruition our intentions placed when the New Moon was in the same sign.  The New Moon was in Virgo in September, 2015. 

The February full moon is called the Snow Moon.  According to the Farmer’s Almanac some North American native cultures refer to the February full moon as the Hungry Moon due to the harsh conditions for hunting.

Virgo energies assist us to put things in order, to create detailed accounting and then offer the ability to put these focuses into practice.  The house where the new Moon fell in September, 2015, will be the area of life that needed order and disciplined action.  If, for example, you had your seventh house involved, relationships (most likely the specific individual you were involved with) would be the areas of life that would have needed focus or more structure or organization.  If the area of life involved were the second house, the focus would be on financial security. 

The Full Moon in Virgo will be at 3 degrees and 34 minutes.  The efforts you used over this whole period since the new moon will now be evident.  If you have other planets in close proximity to 3 degrees, these planetary energies will also be affected and the houses will represent the area of life that will be part of the process.

As suggested, the New Moon phase is a time to set your intentions and start moving forward in a chosen direction.  By setting your intentions, you actually set things in motion.  Again, the Full Moon can be the harvest time for those intentions or if the intention is quite involved, it can be a time when you can move one step further in the development of what was set in motion at the New Moon.

You may feel more ready to act and this lunar influence will provides you with the push you need to take that next step.  You will feel energetically more capable and energized to handle what is taking place in your life and you may be compelled to push forward in anticipation of what lies ahead.  Watch out for fears of potential failures as this will limit the outcome.  Fear holds you back and as long as your intentions are honourable and will not harm others, release fear and you may now feel more able to complete these tasks.

This is a harvest time but also a time to act.  Sometimes you may feels that you are finished and now is the time to take a new direction or focus and often this is the case.  This most certainly is a time to take that next step forward.  Some important connections can be made during this lunar influence.  Many of these individual that have been brought to the forefront of your life are here to help and assist you in what lies around the next corner. 

Remind yourself of what it is you intend to manifest.  Re-evaluate what you are utilizing to make these intentions materialize. 

Virgo is always looking for perfection.  Virgo wants life to be orderly.  This is essential and what must be done under the influence of Virgo.  With order, you can put the final touches on you intentions.  As a result, you move forward with a clear slate and focused mind.  However, watch for becoming too nitpicky and finding all the small faults in the process at hand.  Virgo can go to the extreme and tear things apart and view life and its events with far too much focus on what is seen as faults.   Look for the middle ground.  We can expect some challenging conditions in our journey but these are only lessons not walls.  Accept, release and move forward in your chosen direction.

OUTER WORLD CONDITIONS

It is hard to shake some of the events that take place in our world especially if they happen right at our own front door.  It is difficult to stay neutral and not be affected by these events as some are so incomprehensible.  We, at times, find ourselves directly on the stage of these events or captivated by their energies.

When we allow our life to focus on stress and fear, our connection with source deteriorates.  We can be swept away by these events and emotions.  It is much more beneficial to step back emotionally and allow these events to bring out the best in us.  We have to look inward for strength and purpose for ourselves and for those around us.

Do not own these events.  We cannot allow fear to dictate our response.  Maintain an inner focus on all that allows peace and serenity.  It is normal to slip from time to time as we are all human.  A gentle reminder is important to refocus on all that is good in life as we know our focus creates our reality.  This is not to say that we have created these acts around us but we have created our reaction and emotional response towards them.

Stand tall in the face of adversity regardless of what that might entail.  Know and understand that we have the strength to rise above any event in life. 

Recognize your strengths.  Fortify your protective barrier through focus. 

We can make it through anything and gain inner confidence along the way.

SUN IN PISCES

The sun is now in the sign of Pisces. 

Those with a strong Pisces energy have been noted for being considered the dreamers of the zodiac.  In childhood, they are normally sensitive to their environment.  They feel energies, are susceptible to the vibrations of those around them and this includes a psychic awareness of those that are unseen.  Their dreams and visions are particularly clear and they are sensitive to the psychic vibrations around them.  This can be frightening for them, as they may be too young to fully comprehend their abilities.  It will be up to the parents to encourage and allow these sensitivities to develop.  Many Piscean individuals have the potential of being talented mystical teachers.

It is believed that many Pisces individuals have lived previous lives when they were attuned to the subtle vibrations of the psychic pathways.  They have come, as all of us, to live out their Karma and use these innate qualities to assist others in their life’s spiritual objectives. 

Many Pisceans feel energies on an intense level and this can become a burden if they get caught up in the material side of life.  Their symbol is two fish swimming in opposite directions, suggesting the spiritual and physical side of life moving in opposite directions.  They have to find a balance between the two and until they do, they can experience confusion in their lives.

In general, and of course much depends on the overall condition of the rest of the birth chart, these individuals are caring, compassionate, kind and loving people.  They are extremely sensitive to their environment and never truly want to hurt anyone.  They will take on other people’s problems and make them their own with the hope of easing the burden for others. 

It is important for people with strong Pisces inclinations in their charts and/or an emphasis in the twelfth house to make sure that they are not too open and become overly engulfed and burdened by other people’s issues.

Some find their sensitivities so extreme that they have issues facing reality during challenging periods and are susceptible to become too fond of drugs and alcohol to “get away”.  This is not to say that all Pisces individuals have a tendency towards this form of escape, but there are some that certainly struggle with these habits.  Dealing with the harsher sides of human nature and challenging conditions are difficult for many Pisces due to their extremely sensitive natures.

Most Pisces are charming and quite likable and are helpful to those in distress, although as mentioned they must watch for taking on other people’s issues.  Some have a martyr complex and will carry the weight of the world on their shoulders, so that they can be of assistance.  More than any other sign of the zodiac, it is necessary to take a very close look at the rest of the Astrology chart to monitor many of these sensitivities defined by the sign itself.  A strong Mars and a grounded Mercury can do wonders for these highly complex individuals.

If you are Piscean or have strong Piscean influences in your birth chart, use your talents to assist others through their difficult times, but ensure that you take care of yourself first.  You have a lot to offer the world.  You only have to believe.

WHEN IS IT TIME TO TAKE THAT BIG STEP?

To begin....what is that “big step”? 

We are not talking about that promotion that you have been working towards or a commitment you are contemplating with your partner.  What we are referring to is our big step forward towards fulfilling our purpose....our divine purpose.   

We are living a material existence.  We cannot deny this.  Addressing our needs and concerns pertaining to this is important.  Should we be overly focused on moving forward in these earthly ventures?  Should we be spending countless hours pursuing a position that promises financial rewards? 

These are part of our day to day living and as a result, we do have to address these.  We were not put on this earth to ignore our survival AND flourish needs.  If part of the process is to attain wealth then so be it.  Find your fortune.  Address your concerns.  Learn and fulfill your earthly requirements.

In achieving life goals pertaining to physical manifestation, we recognize our capabilities to manifest and creation.  There is nothing negative or irresponsible with achieving and setting goals in life.  They can be quite rewarding.  The rush we experience from these rewards, however, is short lived and then we push on to the next goal.  Achieving these earthly objectives sets us up to recognizing our abilities to transform our lives and reach other important goals that are not focused on material gain.

The achievement we set out to accomplish may be a little more elevated but we trust ourselves as we have accomplished other goals that we previously set.  Perhaps now is the time to gather ourselves and reach out for something in life that not only brings us happiness and self-understanding, but advances us on our spiritual journey as well, a goal that connects us more securely to our core self.

In our earthy existence there is nothing wrong with working towards material expansion if that is on our list of important accomplishments.  It will serve the purpose for the time being.  Eventually we will tire of material success and work on other goals, spiritual, emotional, psychic, etc.  These goals have many different peaks.  The gratification experience from reaching each juncture will far outweigh any man-made material gain. 

We can claim our rewards for a life set in motion.  We can appreciate our connection with source for true happiness is not experienced through material abundance although it is our birthright.

If we have not already reach it, there will be a time when we have reached the summit of worldly achievement and the door will open so that we can delve within to find the answers for true living. This is the time to find a place of peace and true quiet, a place where we can make contact with our inner self.

We can manifest all that we need for a comfortable life.  We can move ahead in material abundance and helps those who struggle along the way.   While we walk this earthly journey, we cannot forget to manifest the needs of our higher selves as well.  Take the time to sit in quiet contemplation, to hear the messages of all of the other energies that share this existence with us.  Meditation, nature..... these too offer riches both to our earthly existence but also of a much higher value, one you cannot put a value on.

PSYCHIC POTENTIAL UNLEASHED THROUGH THE NATAL CHART

We have been asked if there is any links found in the birth chart indicating potential for psychic abilities.  We have also been asked if there are links found within the birth chart to indicate for intuition. 

It is believed by this Astrologer that all people have the potential to unlock psychic abilities but it is imperative to believe that these are talents dormant within.  The birth chart does, however, indicate those individuals that may be able to access these abilities easier than most.

The following traits are normally found in birth chart of those with developed psychic abilities or potential.  We have also found that those not blessed with the following traits in their natal chart may have indicators through the progression of the planets at some point in their lives.  Remember, however, the birth chart is a lifelong blue print of your journey, forever unfolding.  You can overcome any challenging aspect found within the natal chart by promote positive energies into your life through your focus and by utilizing the energies and trends offered during specific times in your life.

It is more common for women to have more psychic characteristics than for men.  This is due to the fact that in order to bring these character traits to the surface, we have to utilize our instincts and sensitivities.  Most women have through their nurturing nature developed these traits early in life.  This is not to say that men do not have these qualities, as today’s men are learning to develop their compassionate and sensitive side.  As a result, we are seeing more men enjoy psychic abilities.

Quite often people with Grand Water Trines have psychic or intuitive abilities as their sensitivities are often not hindered.  Many people with a strong element of water in their charts, particularly Pisces and Scorpio, have links to psychic potential.  Sometimes those with the signs Aquarius and Sagittarius and the planets Uranus and Jupiter strongly aspected especially by Neptune, the Sun or the Moon in their charts have these qualities.  Strong planetary links to the water houses (4, 8, 12) have the same potentials.

Ties to Neptune especially with Jupiter, Mercury, Mars, the Sun and the Moon often produce these qualities.  Pluto and Neptune in close sextile also often points in this direction.  Those with a North or South Node connected to Pisces, Scorpio and Cancer have these abilities.  The North Node suggests talents that have yet to develop but will be pushed to the surface in this life, while the South Node suggests that these psychic potentials were cultivated in a past life and are carried forward and usable in this life.

Saturn to Neptune may steady the psychic abilities and keep the individual grounded.  Alternatively, it may suggest a hindrance or blockages in developing this potential. 

Rising signs often carry potential for psychic abilities especially Pisces or close ties to Neptune of a positive sort (sextile, trine or perhaps the conjunction) to the ascendant.  Cancer rising can also suggest psychic abilities, often suggesting strong mothering instincts and a nurturing personality.  The same potential exists with Scorpio rising although the mothering is not as innate as those with Cancer and those individuals having a strong tie to the planet Pluto.  As a result, they must watch for wanting to dominate this God-given talent, which will create a blockage. 

As you can see, there are many links associated with the psychic potential and intuition.  The more these characteristics are found in your birth chart, the stronger the potential.  The greatest enemy to building psychic abilities is fear or those that seek power and dominance through their potential. 

This potential is a gift that should be used for the greater good.

FEAR AND ITS CONTROL

What is that old saying? .......“The only thing to fear is fear itself.” 

This saying was true when it was first said, it still holds truth and will for each and every day to come. 

Understanding our fear provides us with the ability to overcome it.  Fear is experienced when we perceive danger or feel threatened.  We react in predictable ways when we experience fear.  The most primal reactions are fight or flight.  Primal fear is an instinctual response for survival.  We are not focusing on this type of fear today.  Today we are looking at ego based fear.  This fear is not a part of the true self.  We cannot conquer fear until we accept that fear is a concept which stems from the ego and its need for control.

Fear has many faces.  It can come at us from all directions and in many forms.  Ego based fear clouds our judgement and prevents us from reaching the truth.  Because this fear we believe we are unworthy, not good enough, not pure enough, not smart enough, not capable, not intelligent enough, or simply not able to achieve what we have set out to do.

How often do we not follow through on our dreams because a part of us, our ego, tells us that we will not succeed?  How often, because of ego generated fear, do we stop ourselves short, because we anticipate failure? 

The truth is found deep within.  We are our truth.  If we choose to believe that we cannot do something, we have just draw the line in the sand and the odds of success are highly diminished.  Even if we find push enough to move forward, the odds are we will not succeed because are ego tells us we will not.  Our focus creates our reality.  In order to accomplish anything in life we have to move past the ego’s negative chatter and recognize that this is not part of the true self.

If we follow ego’s chatter and make it part of our belief structure, we are setting ourselves up for failure.  It serves no positive purpose to identify with anything that does not make you happy.  It serves no positive purpose to identify with anything that will not serve your higher good.  By not identifying with the ego and its plight, we heighten our awareness and open the floodgates so that our true positive nature can shine through.

Our focus…our beliefs will play a very significant role in the outcome of our dreams in life.  This form of fear is generated by the ego.  In challenging any negative beliefs and not identify with ego generated concepts, we can and will transform our lives.  Ego is a very real barrier to achieving our goals and moving forward.

Fear is the ego’s strongest weapon to maintaining control.  When ego has a true hold, change and growth will not take place and we will stagnate.  

Primal fear will keep us physically safe on our earthly journey.  Ego based fear will cocoon us and rob us of our earthly growth and lessons.  If we learn to silence our ego and overcome its control, we can emerge from this cocoon to be the beautiful energy we are meant to be.  We can accomplish anything when we shake off the ego and move forward with confidence and a solid foundation.  Not reaching our goals on the first attempt is not failure.  It is a lesson to teach and allow us to adapt so that in our second or third attempts we will succeed because we have tried and we have learned along the way.  

Take the steps required to achieve and nurture something that will not only benefit you, but will also serve as a higher purpose for those around you. 

You CAN do it.  You WILL find it.  You have everything you need to move forward if you simply believe.

LOVE

Love is defined as the intense feeling of deep affection for another person or living thing.  

There are many different forms of love - love for a partner, a child, a friend, a stranger in need, a puppy, etc.  Each and every person, animal, living thing that shares this existence with us offers to us an opportunity to express our love.

There is yet another form of love.  There is a love that is so often forgotten and yet it is so important – self love.  Take the time to appreciate exactly who you are.  Set aside the whirlwind of everyday life and take a moment to true appreciate yourself.  It is also important to reflect on our lives, our friends and the loved ones we are so fortunate to share this existence with.  

The human race always seems to need a reason to celebrate and reflect.  Sunday, February 14, gives us a reason to celebrate “love” by sharing our presences with those that we love.  We can enhance our life’s experience by sharing and showing the love we have for others, without measure.   For the individuals that hold a special place in our hearts, we can confirm our affection for them.  We can then take it one step further to allow this sentiment to be expressed each and every day of the year through a special gesture or word.

Just as important, we can utilize the opportunity to spread our love to strangers who we meet along our path.  There are many among us that are alone and in need of a loving gesture no matter how small.  Create a ripple effect that is generated by one small gesture or one small act of love.

Today can be the beginning of an endless expression.  Regularly, we can do something meaningful for our loved ones without the requirement of a special day.  We can express our love in our own special way on a day that others would never expect anything special from us.  Become spontaneous and act on those little whims that surfaces from time to time.  These unprompted moments of unplanned action are the special moments.

We can celebrate love, romantic or otherwise, every day.  Life itself is a celebration of love and we share this planet in one degree or another with every living thing in existence--even plants thrive when shown love. 

The magnificence of this life carries with it love in many shapes and forms.  We simply need to open up to the beauty and love that is generated around us on a continuous basis, each and every day!

As we reach out today or on February 14, we can take time to reflect on the love that surrounds us and then on what we can do to express and be a part of this beautiful and natural process.  Love each other without exception.  Give thanks for the love that surrounds us.  Share the love that lives within for it will be returned tenfold.  

……and never, never forget to love yourself for you cannot truly share love with others if you cannot find it in your heart to love yourself.

Nurture this natural process of love and allow it to grow, first from within and then to overflow.
