TRANSITING PLUTO CONJUNCT NATAL MARS

Before we go into deciphering this transit of Pluto to Mars, please check if you have a natal aspect between these two planets, check if you have other transits aspecting your natal Mars and check which house is involved.  The planets that are natally joined with Mars will all play a part in the unfolding potential behind these two energies.

The dynamics of these two planetary energies can be quite forceful and also very volatile.  As a result, it is important to check the overall picture in your chart.  If there are aspects in the chart indicating some other forces playing a role in this conjunction and they are favourable then the energies released may not be as tense.

Pluto and Mars together, when well aspected by other indicators, can be a time of gathering or reaching your goals and recognizing your abilities and using them for a push forward in life.  There are powerful forces at work and the energy levels are activated.  There will be a strong drive towards dominance in whatever areas of life that is involved, (the area of life is found in their house placement).  If for example these planets are found occupying the first house, you may be driven to succeed in personal matters although you may find that others become involved and they may also exert their influence in the situation.  If the seventh house is the area of influence, this aspect may not work overly well when it comes to your marriage or business partnership.  You may even have to watch out for enemies attempting to work against you in some way.  Struggles and disruptions are common and ego disputes are often the result.

Because the energies are so powerful, you will have to make sure that you find ways to shift this drive into areas that will benefit the situation.  Undercover work and solving or resolving issues can work well during this time.  Pluto’s energies are about transformation and often after careful study and digging up material that helps promote the transformation, change will surface.  The only problem with Mars being attached to these energies is that these problems can become dangerous situations and aggressive action can be a result if the energies are misdirected.  In extreme cases the potential for violence and potent arguments can erupt and cause dangerous situations, but once again only in extreme situations.

Do not be too hasty, as compulsive actions are often sparked by this conjunction.  It is advisable to stay clear of any conditions or situations that could eventually lead to disruption and violence.  Watch yourself and do not take any unnecessary chances.  The careless operation of motor vehicles is especially not advisable during this time.  Watch for anger and then the desire to leave the scene and drive away upset.  If at all possible, remain or calm down before operating motor vehicles or operating heavy machinery or when using sharp tools.

Use the energies of this transit to perform hard and tedious tasks and push yourself ahead especially when Pluto and Mars are in Capricorn.  You could excel in your occupation and receive reward for you perseverance and dominating drive, as long as you work with others and allow them to have their say.  Domination coming from both sides is quite possible during this transit.  Stand your ground but do not be pushy.

OUR BELIEFS & THEIR INHERENT TRUTH

It is within our capacity to create our perfect world.  First we must start within and then when we are familiar with our abilities to create, then we can use this tool in our daily living.  We can allow the perfect world to spread outward.  We are constantly building our futures through our expectations which we are putting into motion today and each and every day.  Tomorrow is an accumulation of all that we expect and what we believe is possible.  It is a result of where we put our energies.

It stems from deep within when we focus, believe, contemplate on varying possibilities and we stay with these thoughts.  We constantly filter out thoughts that we deem irrational or unworthy of our concentration.  Over time the beliefs we hold near and dear begin to manifest and it does not matter what these beliefs are as long as we believe and focus.  We can eventually and gradually make them a reality. 

Quite often many of our thoughts and expectations will not manifest exactly as we thought they would, even when we are consciously focusing on what we wish to manifest.  Something, however, along the same line of thought will eventually be created.  It begins from within and then materializes into our external world and usually, these things that materialize are exactly what we needed (possibly not exactly as we had envisioned).

If we find that we are not pleased with what our world appears to be, then it is time to examine where exactly our focus is?  We build on thoughts and the universe manifests and it does not analyse what we ask for; it just provides us with more.  This is why being thankful for all that life brings is so very important.  We cannot rid ourselves of things that we do not like by ignoring them.  To ignore actually gives strength because it takes focus to ignore.  If we give thanks for even the hard lessons in life and truly appreciate the valuable lessons that we have learned, we fill our life with gratitude.  If you have interaction with someone who treats you poorly, do not focus on their shortcomings.  These shortcomings are not yours to own.  Respect their lessons in life, appreciate that these lessons are not yours to learn and send them on their way with love and respect.  Everyone is doing the best that they can.

If you do find yourself slipping back into old habits and the thoughts that you catch are less than ideal, review your life to remind yourself of the blessings that are present.  Focus on all that you have right down to your freedom, your health, running water, a warm place to lay your head, a job, a meal and the list goes on.  Each of us may not have all of these but all of us have at least one of these.  A nudging voice within may argue that this sounds like fiction.  Prove that voice wrong.  Put these suggestions into practice, for a month, six months or a year.  After that time tell me that this is fiction.  You have nothing to lose and perhaps everything to gain. 

When it is said your life is in your hands, this is what is meant.  You do have control of your thoughts, of your focus and of your attitude.  We build our life through these, gradually over time.  Place your thoughts and your expectations where they can do the best work.  It is in your hand.  What focus and attitude do you choose?

AWAKEN; YOU ARE THE GIANT WITHIN

Recognizing who we are is certainly paramount to awakening.  We have to understand our true identity, which is not of an earthly nature.  Our connection with our true self begins with this understanding and being caught up in the mundane concerns of earthly living can certainly stagnate any progress, although much can be utilized from our life’s experience.

We are not our bodies.  We are not our achievements.  We are not our failures.  We are spirit unlocking in varying degrees to true awareness.  We are spirit wrapped in human form; temporarily experiencing a human existence.  We are the one that dwells within and we can unlock this door of awareness.  We do not have to wait until we move into the next level of consciousness or pass over to gain entry.  It is accessible now.

We should, however, recognize ego’s manipulation and refrain from identifying with it.  Many are caught up in this transitional stage and have a hard time seeing beyond ego’s grip.  Many actually believe that they are their ego and identify with it.  They recognize its negative influence in their lives and believe that for some reason that they do not deserve anything better.  Guilt is a by-product of ego and as long as it maintains its stranglehold, guilt accompanies our journey.

For many of us, how we live our lives is often based on guilt.  When we look down on ourselves and our qualities, we may be basing this on guilt and the feeling of lack of love.  Too many people believe ego is their only identity and more often than not ego has a negative influence not a positive one.

We can love ourselves enough to rediscover the wonderful person that resides within.  We can awaken to our true potential and allow ourselves to love self.  From there we can radiate that love outward into the global consciousness. 

We are all one consciousness aligned with source.  There are no exceptions.  We are one and we move as a whole.  Working on ourselves moves our global consciousness in one positive direction.  Accepting ourselves for who we are allows us to see the beauty within but also allows us to see the beauty that surrounds us.  Shut off the chatter of ego and experience life as we were always meant to.  We can awaken to our own perfection and in turn experience the perfection of creation.

NEW MOON IN ARIES, MARCH 28, 2017

The New Moon’s energies help to initiate plans.  The energies of the new moon allow you to plant the seeds of growth.   With the New Moon in the sign of Aries, it is a fantastic time to move ahead with these plans.  Hopefully you have prepared the garden of life for the seeds and are not tossing them on barren land.  There is a chance for these seeds that land on barren lands will grow but why not prepare for a great change through a wonderful harvest? 

Aries is the sign of action and pushing forward in a chosen direction.  It is not about assisting others, although Aries energies certainly can be used in this way.  Aries wants to pursue something that holds a special place in their own heart and is self-generated.

This New Moon in Aries is at 7 degrees so anyone with either an angle (MC, ASC, IC or DC) or a planetary link within 2 to 12 degrees can use these energies linked with these angles or planetary influences in their life now.  If you can, use these energies on something that is self-gratifying or self-initiated, as Aries wants to be the one making the decisions or needs to lead in some way.  Remember to take into consideration the house where the conjunction or the houses where these planetary link or angles are found.  The houses involved will be the areas of life that are now being activated.  You can use these energies with anything that might be linked to these houses with a great possibility of success.

Take your time even though Aries will want you to rush in.  The more you plan, the better the potential for success.  Aries tends to be aggressive in its pursuit and has very little patience.  Those that do move in haste may find that a redo is in order later on and although they may have no problem starting again down the road, the energies are in place right now and in the near future to build on anything you decide is worth following up on.

If this idea happens to be something original then the potential for success is even higher.  Of course you will have to take into consideration the overall conditions in the natal chart (aspects from other planets) and review what the potential is and the best way to go about building on the potential of this endeavour.  It may be a good time to start a business as long as you are prepared and you are not going in blind.  Anything that promotes you in personal ways can be attainable if all the energies are working in your favour.  Some other aspects may create challenges but the potential is still present.  You may just have to push a little harder.

This is the time to actually be aggressive in your quest and your following through is imperative.  Do not just sit and think about it.  You need to address this opportunity.  If by chance you find that you fall short down the road, when the opposition between the Sun and Moon arrives in 6months time, you can make adjustments or even start over again.  The actions taken now can be reviewed and altered at that time.

TRANSITING SATURN TRINE SUN IN ARIES

Transiting Saturn moves from 27 degrees in Sagittarius retrograding (back) to 21 degrees this August (2017).  Then turns direct once again and will enter Capricorn on December 22, 2017.  During this time period, Saturn will trine anyone with their Sun in Aries from about 15 degrees to the final degree of that sign.  Saturn will then be in a square to anyone with the early degrees of their Sun in Aries towards the end of this year (2017).  We will discuss the trine between the Sun and Saturn in this post.

The trine between Saturn and the Sun offers opportunities for advancement in life.  Life seems to flow a little more smooth than usual, and there will be a great ability to get things done, especially those things that are in need of completion.  This could be a time of accomplishment and the harder those with this aspect work during this time the greater the chance for recognition from authority figures.  Some may even be promoted because the extra work is noticed and appreciated.  Hard work is the hallmark of Saturn and working towards an end is what is required.

Saturn does demand attention and often brings on more responsibilities and duties but the rewards can be quite substantial.  Setting goals is a good idea and planning for the future might work out well for those with this aspect.  What they are doing with their life on a professional level is laying a foundation that hopefully will stand the test of time.  They must make sure that they are building this foundation on solid ground.

This is a time for self-promotion and putting their best foot forward.  They may be pushed by others to stand on their own without help from anyone, but they should be fine with this.  After all, they are Arian.  Watch for too much aggression in pursuits and ask superiors what they think of the ideas.  These superiors just might approve of the ideas and even help you reach some of these goals.  It can work out favourably if those with this aspect do not skip any steps, as careful planning is what is required.  Don’t be hasty; don’t rush.  It takes time to build anything worthwhile.

If these individuals are thinking about starting their own business or securing a business that they have been working on, this is also a good time for such adventures, but all of the rules mentioned above apply.  Sure and slow, prepare well and do not leave anything undone.  These individuals may find that they will receive support, perhaps even financial backing, from those in positions of authority.  Possibly their fathers or father figures may offer some help. 

All in all it is a good time to move forward in life, although these Arians have to take into consideration the overall picture suggested by their natal chart and all of the transits with influence in their chart to get a clear understanding of what the Astrology chart is saying.

Death

As we age more and more loved ones pass on before us.  This can be an emotional reality as we get older and some of us may feel as though many of great value have been stolen from us.  These souls were a part of our lives and now the time we shared during this earthly experience is no longer.  We have to find ways to move forward without their physical bodies being a part of it.  In most cases for those of us, particularly in the western world, do not find this an easy task.  The more we fight the experience, the more pain we experience.

Ask anyone who has lost a loved one and they will agree that it takes time to recover from their loss and time does not heal wounds; our adjustment to the new way of living is what helps us to move beyond the separation.  It is a great challenge to find new ways to continue without their physical energies being with us.  We have to find ways to place our focus on other things and other people to bring a new type of joy into our lives.  We need to appreciate those that have moved on before us yet fill the gap in this material life.  No one can or will ever replace those that have passed on before us.

From a spiritual perspective, we can remind ourselves that their earthly purpose has been fulfilled.  Is this not something to celebrate?  We know that they are still with us in spirit and we even feel their presence from time to time.  Some of us dream of our loved ones and some of us are even lucky enough to communication on varying levels with them.  We even recognize their presences often.

It is said that those that have passed are never far away.  It is even said that when we think of them we draw them to us.  Death is not an ending but a rebirth where understanding and an awakening not known on earth is regained.  Their mission on earth has been completed and now they are called back to where we have come, much wiser and experienced than they were when we they first arrived, at least we suspect that this is the experience.

Remind yourself that you are a spiritual being living an earthly existence.  It is only temporary.  You have come to experience earthly lessons and to find understanding that is not as easily learned through the spiritual existence.  Our mission is to complete our earthly tasks, whatever they may be.  Our final day will come just as it is meant to. 

For those that do not have spiritual beliefs or religious beliefs, personal death or the passing of a loved one can be a frightening experience.  Some believe that nothing happens beyond our earthly experience and when we pass, we simply no longer exist….nothing more, nothing less.  They say that everything comes to an end; yet science says that energy is perpetual.  Many of us can know that there is existence on some level beyond passing from this earth as our life’s experiences have taught us this without question.  With this knowledge, we recognize that passing on cannot be an end but a new beginning.

We cannot fight the process for it is inevitable.  Experience and allow the sadness and grief when you have lost a loved one but do not take up residence in these emotions.  Our loved ones would never want us to lose our focus on what we are here to fulfill.  If we allow, we can get caught up in what has taken place and spend many years living in sadness and grief.  We can focus on what we do not have or we can focus on what we do have and be grateful for what we have shared.  It is a choice.  Attitude is everything.

SUN IN ARIES 2017, PART II, Forecast Uranus Conjunct the Sun

In the coming year (2017) Uranus is conjunct those with an Aries Sun between 17 degrees and the final degree of Aries.  The Uranus will also conjunct those with the Sun in early degrees of Taurus as well this year, but this will be discussed in our post for the Sun in Taurus coming up on or before April 20, 2017. 

With the conjunction to the Sun in the sign of Aries, Uranus has the push it needs to instigate change - hopefully constructive change.  The important focus for those with the Sun in these degrees is to take the necessary time to think and prepare for the plans that might be born during this conjunction.  Jumping without due reflection and research can lead to big mistakes and these decisions can lead to undesirable conclusions.  Take your time and plan things out, if given the opportunity.

There are great potentials with this combination--a new start, actions leading to great achievements on a personal level.  You can discover things about yourself that you never even knew existed before this time.  You can discover avenues of expression that not only put a new perspective on what you might want for yourself over the coming year, but also what might play an important role in your overall life conditions.  What you set in motion now can produce lasting results or quick impressionable changes that will bring freedom of expression.  You can now move away from anything that is restricting and find new instinctual actions that will pave the way for further growth in years to come. 

Sometimes the changes that are set in motion happen now because they are intended and you would not take these chances prior to this time.  There may very well be some unexpected twists and turns that take you down roads of life that you never knew existed.  Sometimes these new roads will surface out of the blue and you may be ill prepared.  The best approach is to be open to anything happening and to expect the unexpected.  Maintain a vision for the future and the outcome of your visions will be uncovered over time.

Of course there is the potential for a stumble during this conjunction but other factors would have to play a part in the process.  This would not happen on its own.  There must be a trigger.  Life can become quite unpredictable and extremely erratic behaviour has the potential to express itself.  You may be thrown into situations and life can carry you away on its wave of uncertainty.  If life does seem to dictate, recognize that over time these situations usually carry with them the potential for much needed change.  With this change comes growth from these experiences.  Once again expect the unexpected but go along for the ride.  Sometimes any attempt at trying to control the situation only results in delayed reactions and much harsher circumstances at a later date.  If your life has become dull and monotonous, you will likely experience some upheaval and excitement.

 

It is important to consider what actions you take and how these actions will affect others.  Because we are focusing on Aries, it is important to realize that personal needs must be taken care of first.  Life undoubtedly needs a shakeup and these apparent changes are all part of the process.  Hang on for the ride and realize that more often than not these changes are for the best.  Be sure to take care of yourself if you are experiencing a more than ideal ride during this aspect as your health can be a cause for concern if you allow yourself to become stressed.  Make sure you use the energies that these planets insist on bringing to the surface and also be careful while operating motor vehicles and power tools.  A little extra care can go a long way to avoid avoidable accidents.

Expect new things and people to enter your life at this time.  Be open to change and accept what you cannot change.  You are never at the mercy of life as you always have the potential to think things through and rationalize your life and control your attitude and your focus.  Remember, these changes or events are necessary.  They are brought on because life from a higher perspective has stagnated and the soul demands evolution.  Dear Aries as you know, you hold the reins.  Without worry, step forward into what might be the unknown and know that this is meant for you.

MAKE PEACE

You cannot find peace in your surroundings or from any interaction you may have with others.  The only way to find peace is to create peace and the only way to feel peace is to focus on your attitude towards peace.  You create peace by being peace, by living within the guidelines of what you define peace to be and then allowing those energies to seep into your outer world.

What are your expectations?  Do you expect to experience peace?

How do you find peace when your expectations are not in touch with what peace represents for you?  You know that you mold your reality over time by your belief structure.  If this is true, how can you possibly find peace when your expectations and focus are elsewhere?

You argue that your expectations are based on what you have experienced in life. 

How can you expect change if you base your expectations on what life has brought before this time?  How can you possibly expect anything different when this is where you choose to place your focus?

Make a conscious choice to start filtering out negative possibilities and focus.  You can switch this focus at any time, but you have to recognize that your thought patterns are your own, that they come from you and that you are the one with the control of where they are.  Call it ego interference, but as long as you identify with these thoughts, you make them your own. 

Pay attention and refocus your intentions.  It will take a little practice but realistically you can do it this moment and, if you believe, the change can happen right now, in this moment.  You do not have to wait until tomorrow to make that conscious change.  You can do it now.  When you notice that your focus is sneaking back into old habits, gently change its direction again to a positive one.

What are you waiting for?  The time is now.  Make a conscious choice to rule your own life and focus on what makes you happy.  Life is supposed to be filled with joy and optimism and this goes for everyone.  It is time.  Just do it!

SUN IN ARIES 2017, PART I, Sun in Aries Characteristics

The Sun will move into the sign of Aries on March 21 in 2017.  Aries is the first sign of the Zodiac and also rules the first house.  Aries is ruled by the planet Mars and  Mars is considered a war like planet in that it is not afraid to move forward with its objectives and is fearless once in action.  Mars is often the driving force behind personal achievement and ambition, along with Saturn although Saturn is more affiliated with ambitions linked to the profession.

Aries is a fire sign, associated with action and boldness.  Many Aries people have the ability to push through any blocks and will push ahead with their intentions regardless of intrusion or even the potential for defeat.  If they do fail, they are quite willing to cut their losses and rise up to another pursuit with as much vigor as their previous efforts.  Failure too many Arieans is just another opportunity to learn and begin again with new found potentials and goals.

These individuals can be rather impulsive and are usually the first to move forward in their objectives and also the first ones to finish what they set out to do.  There is little wasted time and there is no time like present to advance in whatever areas they deem appropriate.  They are very direct in their approach and will seldom pretend that they are doing something or making plans without actually following up on their plans.  Their goal is to achieve and get things moving.  They would really like it if they got the same response from others. 

Aries individuals feel comfortable in pursuing their objectives because they believe in themselves.  If by chance they fail in their goals, it will be because they did not plan well enough or moved forward without the proper resources.  They like a challenge and are willing to set things in motion even when others tell them that they are not ready.  Very little actually stands in their way except themselves.

Arieans often have a “me first” attitude and even when they are working towards the good of someone else, they seek control of the situation.  They are generally kind and compassionate people with the good of others at heart, but sometimes can be a little too blunt and aggressive in their pursuit.

TRANSITING NEPTUNE TRINE VENUS

If you have transiting trine from Neptune to natal your Venus, celebrate as this is considered a magnificent aspect.  Venus is the planet of love and affection and Neptune’s energies deal with intrigue, spirituality and qualities almost magical in their expression.  It is quite possible that you can fall madly in love if and when you have this aspect in your chart.  You may believe that you have found the perfect mate, someone who seems caring, loving, sensitive and perhaps even mysterious.  You will be intrigued and may even be swept off your feet.  The individual that comes into your life may seem almost too good to be true and you can hardly see any flaws. 

The potential for finding and connecting with the perfect lover is certainly highlighted and although the individual seems perfect, make sure you are seeing them under a realistic light.  With this trine, however, you just might be.  This could be quite different from the conjunction, opposition or square.  What you are seeing and what you are feeling just might be real but a reality check is still in order.

THE KIND & GENTLE APPROACH

The kind and gentle approach is normally the best approach. 

Life’s experiences do take us down many different roads and during stressful situations we can be prone to instant reaction, which is not always what we had planned on.  A quick review prior to reacting or a quick rethink after reacting can help us to address any situation from a different point of view.

Before we respond, do we consider the affect of our response on the person we are addressing?  Do we ask ourselves if something positive can come out of your expression and verbal interaction?  Will our reaction bring things into focus?  Will our reaction cause strife or will it stimulate a verbal confrontation? 

We can certainly experience much more control if our reaction or interaction in slow and deliberate.  Learning to control reaction is a positive step forward.  Giving ourselves time to assimilate what has happened before we speak can bring about positive results to all involved.

In most cases if we approach a situation in a temperate manner, people usually react in similar fashion.  Sometimes it does not matter how gentle we are, there will be those that come at us in an aggressive manner.  If we stand back and still approach the situation in a kind and considerate way, many will recognize your control and lower their aggressions.  For those that still carry on in rage, we can certainly walk away.  This is not an indication of weakness, as becoming aggressive in the interaction would be much easier.  It takes strength not to be drawn is and maintain your ability to maintain your control in these types of situations.

We certainly have the right to speak our minds.  But there are many ways of addressing any given situation and there is always a calm approach available if we search deep enough.  It takes a powerful person to walk away from an argument.  Calm and control usually gets us to where we want to be.

Ego and being right is normally the cause of most arguments.  If we argue our point, we have allowed ego to take control and snatch away our calm.  This practice of controlling this gets easier over time.  Our own stress levels and peace of mind are far more important than feeding a situation that can grow into something that cannot be harnessed.

WHAT TOOLS ARE USED TO FORECAST IN ASTROLOGY

When we forecast events through astrological, we look at the outer planets.  The movement or transit of the outer planets has a longer influence or effect on us. 

Using transiting Pluto as an example, its energy speaks in terms of transformation and often through some type of struggle.  This could refer to changes that are necessary because we are no longer advancing in life.  This may include a change in direction in our working environment when the MC is involved and this would also affect our home and family life as the IC will also be involved (they are opposites).  We may also be going through a transformation in our personal life.  It could feel as though it is a new start after some change which could have been a struggle.  Sometimes this is reflects into our relationships when the Ascendant and DC are activated.

These transformations and often life changing events become more active the closer Pluto moves to one of these angles in our Astrology chart.  We usually begin to feel the effects when transiting Pluto is about 5 degrees approaching and it intensifies as it moves into contact (0 degrees) and becomes direct.  The strongest effect will be when the aspect between the angle and Pluto becomes direct or less than one degree apart.  The closer to zero degrees apart, when we are speaking about the conjunction, the more powerful the energies.

Often when a Planet is within one degree of being direct it takes an inner planet to create an activity related to these events.  Transiting Mars and the transiting Sun often create the needed push to activate the energies already in play.  These links can be quite precise in timing the events, although it is still wise to give the energies a few weeks to unfold.  Transiting Uranus on its own is often enough energy to create an activity or event, sometimes forecastable to within a few weeks as well.  The progressed Moon is often good to use for forecasting the timing of events to unfold and timing can be adjusted to within one month.  There are times when you can predict an event within a few days if the energies are strong enough.

One planetary link is not enough to actually confirm an event.  You need at least three different aspects each telling the same story to have the potential for an activity to take place.  To see if there are aspects you can use to forecast in your own Astrology (Transit) chart, check to see if you have other transits affecting the same area of life, dictated by the house positions.  Also have a look at your birth chart and locate the planets that all fall into the same degree or very close to the same degree.  These will be sensitive areas of life and when a transiting planet moves into these degrees, you can expect an active time in your life.

In many cases these timers indicate stress or nice easy flow.  Sometimes events happen or sometimes attitudes will change.  If a mental adjustment is not enough to make the necessary changes suggested by the planets involved, then at some point later during the transition, an event may unfold to push you in the right direction.  An example may be that an individual has Pluto square the MC and Uranus conjuncting at the same time and also Saturn is in opposition to the Sun, especially if the Sun is somehow connected to the MC.  With these circumstances, something with regards to the occupation, life status, goals and aspiration will unfold over the time of the influence.

Remember regardless of how the energies are released, change and disruption are often prerequisites for growth.  Nothing in life happens without some purpose attached to it.

BE BOLD & ABOVE ALL ELSE BE TRUE TO YOURSELF

In the face of adversity what is your best defense?  Do you run and hide behind the vail of uncertainty?  Do you seek shelter from the colds winds of aggression and attack? 

It is said that fighting aggression with aggression only creates more of the same and we cannot help but agree.  If we are attacked (emotionally, mentally or physically) what then is the best approach? 

We certainly have to stand up for ourselves when need be and use our inner strength to pull ourselves away from the afflictions at hand.  Sometimes life comes at us from all directions and we are forced to find that inner strength and find new ways to look at old demands.  Through our own determination and focus, we can reach within and find the strength to not only carry on through these events, but to rise above them.

 

We can find strength that we never knew existed.  We gain personal empowerment when we allow ourselves to rise above.  There is sufficient strength within, however, do not feel any less competent if you reach out to others and higher sources for a helping hand.  With or without assistance, we emerge stronger, more resilient and ready to forge ahead with our heads held high.

We are the masters of our destiny regardless of what stands in the way.  We are much more powerful than we realize.  The only things that stand between defeat and success are our attitudes and our focus.  Through love of self, control of attitude and positive focus we rise above life conditions that once seemed impenetrable. 

Know your strength and abilities but accept a hand when it is extended to you.  Fulfill your ambitions with an open mind.  Follow your heart……it knows the path.

TRANSITING NEPTUNE CONJUNCT THE DESCENDANT, 2017 FORECAST

This post will be for those with their Descendant (DC) between 4 degrees to 22 degrees Pisces and their Ascendant (ASC) in Virgo at these same degrees.  We will be speaking about the conjunction to the DC and the opposition to the ASC by Neptune.  This is a forecast for 2017 for those with these positions in their natal chart.

Neptune’s energies can have a mysterious quality to them.  They have a tendency to be subtle and vague yet inspirational and mystical.  Neptune can have a tendency to dilute life’s experiences and when connected to the seventh house or the DC, relationships can either be foggy or idealistic.  There is usually not too much in between. 

You may be wondering where you are going with a new found romantic involvement.  The individual involved will be intriguing and certainly have you guessing as to where this relationship will lead.  Can it lead to marriage?  Will it be profound and magical?  It certainly can have these qualities.  Watch, however, for putting the relationship on a pedestal and make sure you see it for what it truly is. 

In an existing relationship, the potential for some confusion within this union is heighten.  The same unclear issues can be part of this scenario.  You may have been married for some time and all of a sudden you are not sure where you stand.  It might be best to wait until the fog clears or ask other people’s opinion before you do anything irrational.  If the relationship needs some attending too, this would normally be a time when you could seek counselling.  This will be a period for a strong potential for misunderstandings even with counsellors.  It is best to wait until the aspect is no longer in effect.

With the opposition, you may not be sure of life’s direction.  This could include your work, your relationship and your family.  You may even be questioning who you are or who you are becoming.  You may feel somewhat lost.  Confusion is commonplace.  On the other hand, your life may seem to be almost magical in that the spiritual side of life is being revealed to you.  No matter how you see your life during this aspect, you will spend a great amount of time trying to decipher what is going on.  There is a part of you that says that you should stop questioning what is taking place and accept these mystic experiences brought on by Neptune. 

This can be a mysterious time when insight and clear vision is possible and at the same time, some confusion about the whole process.  Neptune wants you to have faith in the process and to allow the energies to move through you.  With the influence of the energies from a Virgo Ascendant, you might want to tear apart everything that happens to you and look for deeper meaning.  This is not a bad idea, because you do need to keep at least one foot on the ground.

Watch other people taking advantage of your caring nature at this time as you will be drawn to help the underdog.  You may really feel the need to help and people that do not use boundaries may take what they can from you and abuse your kindness. 

After you spend time analysing the situation, ask your close friends what their opinions might be and then make a decision.  Sometimes an opinion from someone not emotionally involved will provide a wealth of knowledge. 

Do not be overly critical of what you see but be on your guard.  Things may not look as they truly are.  This is a time to careful scrutinize life events and the people involved in them.

FULL MOON IN VIRGO - MARCH 12, 2017

The Full Moon on March 12, 2017 is at 22 degrees in the sign of Virgo.  Full Moons are always in opposition to the Sun which means that the Sun will be at 22 degrees in the sign of Pisces. 

Virgo has a great deal to do with service, whether it is looking after someone else’s needs or your own needs.  During this Full Moon make sure that your own needs are being met.  Take care of yourself, especially when it comes to your health.  Hopefully you already have a healthy routine in motion where exercise and healthy eating are a priority.  If this is not the case, you would do well to implement some of these into your daily routine.

This is a time to set routines or return to your routine that will enhance your life over time. 

There can be a lot of nervous energy during this Full Moon and your nerves are subject to trying conditions.  Utilize meditation to connect with your inner self and find solace and peace during these nervous conditions.  Pisces’ focus is on spirituality, and this is the perfect time to have a look at what you have been doing and where you are going in this area of your life.

It is a time for reviewing your life from a spiritual perspective and take into account what you might do to enhance this area of your life.  As mentioned, meditation practices are advised now as well as exercise routines such as yoga and stretching routines.  In the long haul you will be happier emotionally and your body will thank you.  Watch for becoming overly critical about your own personal habits; scrutinize if you wish but let up a little on yourself unless of course you need some discipline in these areas.

The Moon is in quincunx to transiting Uranus during this Full Moon cycle and Uranus and the Moon are fluctuation energies with much activity.  There is the potential for some erratic actions to take place, so make sure you are grounded during this time.  The areas that might be associated with these energies include your work and the duties associated with the working environment, organizational abilities and your health as mentioned earlier.  Your imaginative abilities are also enhanced during this time, along with your spiritual connection.  As you can imagine, you need to have at least one foot on the ground to harness and balance all these energies.

Watch for any escapist attitudes during this time as well.  Neptune which rules Pisces does not particularly like intrusive events and circumstances and often runs from the more harsh side of life.  This is why some individuals resort to alcohol and drug abuse.  The best way to deal with adversity is to face it head on at the start rather than let it build into something that is hard to harness later on.

FAMILY FROM A MYSTICAL PERSPECTIVE

For those of us that honour the concept of reincarnation, when we think of family and accept that many members have shared other lives with us, we cannot help but feel honoured.  We chosen to be together again and share our lives within our intimate inner circle.  It has been said that our parents could be the ones we have shared the most life experiences with.  It has also been said that relationships of shorter duration still have an important role in our evolution. 

Our brothers and sisters are also part of our soul family, as well as some of our intimate friends.  Most of us have met people in our lives that we just feel very comfortable with, right from the beginning.  There is a strange feeling of familiarity that we cannot explain.  Our souls recognise each other.  Even those people that we do not see eye to eye with have an important part to play in our life and we should not dismiss this importance.

We can recognize our karmic connections both good and difficult.  We also are currently building karma as we live our lives together now.  We have our role to play with our close acquaintances.  We cannot think of those “chance meetings” in any way but significant.  We learn from these people and in turn they learn from us.  In many cases we play vital roles in each other’s lives.  There is no such thing as chance.  We have come together for a reason and every exchange has its significance.

Many friends come and go in our lives, but some are here for the duration.  We may have been brothers in previous lives or sisters or father and son and the list of potentials goes on and on.  We all play our parts and we learning from each other.  Do not let these relationships pass you by without recognize the importance of these people and honor their return no matter what the relationship between you might be.  We love each other on many different levels and each one of us plays an integral part in our ongoing evolutionary journey.  What an honour.

TRANSITING NEPTUNE SQUARE SATURN

Do you have transit Neptune square to Saturn in your chart?  This can be a difficult one.  Saturn’s energy deals with structure, discipline, organization and development in the “real world”.  Neptune will interfere with these structures as it does not have boundaries and can be illusive in its nature.  It tests your sense of reality and obstructs your view, making your life’s direction seem unclear and even unreliable.  You may feel quite lost at this time and question whether or not you are on the right path. 

These can be upsetting.  Often negative feedback and feelings of insecurity disrupt what could have been a familiar and solid base.  This can lead to depression and bouts of bewilderment.  You may wonder how you can get back on your path again.  You may feel as though even the solid information you once held dear to you is slipping away and you may even question if your belief structures were even accurate at all. 

Do not be led astray by the mind’s interference and know that this fog will clear over time.  Once this transit has completed its course you will find that you are even more surefooted because you took the time to question things.  Questioning anything in life certainly has benefits.

The greatest problem that will be faced is your lack of self-confidence and anyone who does not stand by your side during this time might best be released from your circle of friendship.  You need assistance from those around you and people will come to your assistance and help lead you out of this un-ordered structure.  Life can be trying unless you learn to let go a little and let your gut and higher forces be your guide.

Neptune can be quite insistent that you create a spiritual/mystical connection.  Because of this the door may open for you at this time although not without some initial struggle.  Watch for allowing your imagination to try to force things to happen.  Make sure you are seeing things clearly.  You can work your way through this cloudy period and with tools such as meditation practices, you will find the answers.  These answers may not be what you are hoping to hear. If your wish is to find material comforts and any earth related adventures, these will be anything but satisfying.  This is an ego check aspect and you are learning about faith and letting go of control during this time.  This is not to say that you are giving up on life.  Far from it!  What you are doing is allowing spirit to take a leading role in your life, as this is especially important now.

Find out what you need to let go or release during this time, specifically in a material way.  You will notice that material security does not stand up to the insistent calling of your spiritual nature and the awakening that is taking place in your life.  This can be quite the enlightening time if you take the necessary steps and simply allow.  Take in the lessons being taught and know that the unsettled, stressful feelings are temporary.  You will find what you are looking for as time passes. 

Be patient and believe in yourself.  You will come out the other side more knowledgeable about who you are and your inner strength will push you through.

IS YOU MOMENTUM SLOWING DOWN?

Does your spiritual or mystical growth seem to be stagnating?  Are you questioning if you are reverting back or that your progress might not continue? 

There can be times when the energies just do not seem to flow easily.  Sometimes there are extenuating circumstances from outside influences that we allow to penetrate into our focus.  Simply put we have allows a block to be erected which is now jamming the positive flow of energy.  Is this a test of our commitment to what we believe?  If we cannot stand behind our beliefs structures during stressful times, what value is there in these beliefs?

 

It is normal from time to time to experience lulls with the receipt of information or insights.  We can experience massive leaps forward and then a seemingly stop in progress.  Maybe these are period to apply the knowledge that we have gains so that it becomes second nature to us.  We are evolving.  Have patience.  Is patience the lesson at hand?

Sometimes ego can cause great interference in our evolution.  This can happen when we are actually moving forward quite well, as ego can slip in, in the most subtle ways.  For some reason, ego feels threatened yet in reality it takes its rightful place at ours side and can assist us when needed in a positive way.  You can call this transformation a regenerative period when ego is in its lesser state, a state of confusion and fear.  In this state it is aligned with negativity.  When we align our focus with source, ego to will align and help to aid us in our ongoing evolving story called “life”.

Don’t be dismayed during these lulls.  It will only last as long as it takes for us to become aware that ego is intruding or whatever other barrier we have erected.  When we stop identifying with its negative intent and taking it on as our own or tear down the barriers, we again will pick up momentum.  The mind can be stimulated in many directions and we, the ones that are listening, decide which course to take.  Sometimes we lose track of our identity and get lost in the process, but once we realign, we find our way back (even though we were never lost).

There are other times in our busy lives when life just seems to dictate and we find we have little time for our own personal journey.  Children, work, parents and life seem to dictate where we need to focus in this material work, and yes it is important to make time for these.  We should, however, take time each day especially in the most busy schedules to service our own personal needs.  Perhaps we can find a few minutes to meditate.  It is not necessary to set aside a lot of time to find our meditation zone once we have had a little practice.  Utilize those short moments....at a stop light, in the washroom, waiting in line.  Put these times to good use.  Something just a couple of moments of meditation can put us back into rhythm so that we feel we are progressing again.

It should be noted that even when life seems to dictate, we are still on path.  We are meant to “sway” (so we think)  from time to time and we can use this time to review where we are in life and realize that our connection to spirit is actually much stronger than it was even 6 months ago.  It is all a state of mind and your personal perception can be altered whenever you want.  Do not be discouraged.  Every moment is new.  Once we recognize this and we can stop fighting the process.  Enjoy each and every moment that life is providing you with.  Being in the moment is such a wonderful stress reliever.  There is nothing to worry about within the moment.  The past is behind you and the future is not here....just this moment.....right now.  What a blessing.

SUN IN PISCES FORECAST 2017, Part II

We are continuing our look at the 2017 forecast for those with their Sun in Pisces.  Part I was posted March 3, 2017.   

Transiting Saturn will be in square for any Piscean with their Sun from about 13 to 14 degrees to 29 degrees and 59 minutes.  Saturn can be a little rigid when it comes to seeing things as they are.  It challenges you to be very realistic in your view of what is taking place especially from a mystical point of view, which is a focus of Neptune the ruler of Pisces.

Saturn is in the sign of Sagittarius right up until the middle of December of 2017.  It then moves into its natural sign of Capricorn.  Sagittarius is all about higher learning especially connected to teachings that are of a higher order.  This could include philosophy and religious doctrines.  Saturn, especially when in square, presents us with obstacles to overcome, challenges to rise above and although the road may be somewhat tedious, its rewards us for diligent hard work.  Once we have moved beyond these challenges there will be a solid foot for the road ahead.  Saturn builds solid structure in your life often after weak structures have been torn down.

When dealing with the Sun, these challenges can be related to your goals and aspirations.  It is what dreams are made of and in order to achieve these inspirations, you need to rise above earthly matters and move into the mystical side of life.  The Sun in Pisces seeks inspiration and mystical understanding and as you can imagine with the energies of earthy Saturn, the outcome may be hard to digest.  Saturn looks for something concrete and viable, and Pisces seeks the ultimate truth from learning gained through higher channels.

Watch for allowing lower energies to slip in over this period and it is best to set up an exercise routine and proper eating habits.  You will need to look after yourself and also stay away from any negativity; the potential for becoming depressed or somewhat down and out during this aspect is heightened but if you allow, your emotional state will not be as affected.  If you are aiming to achieve something specific make sure you take one step at a time and do not do more than one thing at a time.  Finish off what you started completely before you begin something new.  Any detailed work might be right up your alley, especially where you are allowed to use your imagination.  Creativity is enhanced when set in motion.

It will feel like you are going through a testing period and you probably are.  You are being tested with your spiritual connections and learning the difference between fact and fantasy.  You will find that only solid structures in these areas will survive the scrutiny that you will be put through.  You will feel as though you need proof but do not be dissuade by this.  Anything real, regardless of how far out it may seem, will be proven over time.  If disproved, it will fall by the wayside.
