The transit from Uranus to natal Mars particularly by square can indicate a difficult period. Action is required although the outcome can be very hard to define. Uranus is extremely unpredictable, and its nature is to instigate change where change is needed. Its action can be sudden and unexpected and, in some cases, aggressive especially when linked by challenging aspect to Mars.
Uranus’
nature is to create change where change is needed but its purpose is to move
you out of complacency and into a direction that is more suitable. Uranus is
known as the awakener and if you are not doing what you know you should do,
quite often after a few nudges it promotes outside influence and forces change
that is necessary.
When
connected to Mars (associated with aggressive action) there is some form of
fight to move in a certain direction and in rare cases violence. This is not a
pleasant combination. Mars is what pushes us forward and T Uranus in Taurus (about
another 3 years) we know that Uranus is here to bring change into what is
ordinary or to the way things were. Uranus has been in Taurus since the spring
of 2019. Anything in need of a substantial change will be uprooted when Uranus
is in Taurus.
Currently (October
2022) T Uranus is in retrograde suggesting that its full energy is harnessed somewhat.
It remains in retrograde until January 22, 2023 (going as low as 14° Taurus).
Those with N Mars in square to this position, (you can use an orb of 3°
approaching & 2° separating although) will be affected by this transit to
their N Mars. N Mars will be in Aquarius or Leo in the birth chart to make the
transit from Uranus a square.
It is
suggested that you act although be careful of the energies as they can be quite
intense and, in some cases, aggressive. The beauty of the square aspect is that
it provides enough energy and challenge that it often forces us into action,
which is what is required now. It might take some time to understand what is
unfolding and how it will affect you but recognize that it is what is needed
and you will learn to adjust to what takes hold.
