When challenges arise, we need to know when to fight and when to let go. Some circumstances are worth the fight, but others will simply wear us down and over time create more adversity and less peace in our lives if we do not let go.
Ask
yourself, “is this worth fighting for?”
Can I change what is happening; if so “how”?
Some fight more for their ideals when we are young; others fight when they are more mature and less likely to ride the conformist train. There are some who will never fight for whatever reasons they believe a fight is not worth the outcome. Where do you fit in?
Life events
can stir us into action or force us to retreat.
To a degree, we are at the mercy of life events, but at the same time,
we control our own actions and reactions.
Sometimes
we need to rock and roll with life; roll with the punches and at times rock the
foundation we stand on.
