Our Work Environment

Are you climbing the corporate ladder of success? Are you on your way to achievement in this world? Have you made your mark? Have you ever questioned what significance can be found in the corporate world and whether or not this achievement has any real meaning beyond financial gain?

It is hard to say why we are so wrapped up in making a name for ourselves, or achieving that goal in life. There is nothing wrong with working towards an accomplishment. You just have to make sure that moving up that corporate or financial ladder does not take the place of being with family or experiencing tranquility and enjoyment. Unfortunately some people just cannot find the balance with these and they are caught in the middle unsure of what can be done to correct the imbalance.

Earning a living is important on a survival level in this life, as it is crucial to provide the essentials in life but there is also a sense of contentment for some people in securing a future for ourselves and our families.

Think of the time spent each day carried out our vocational responsibilities. Some are passionate about their jobs but unfortunately, others despise their jobs but carry on through necessity. Fortunately for some, the final outcome, our retirement, provides a time of comfort and the freedom to do that which they are more compassionate about doing.

Aside from the security and essentials a job provides, there has to be some type of significance to this process of working for such a large portion of our lives. Perhaps it is not so much the importance of attaining success or financial stability that matters. Perhaps the great importance is the interaction between people that matters. Everyone, without except, that we meet through our jobs (throughout any part of our lives for that matter) teaches us something of value just as we provide something of value to them. The nature of our work and the achievements along that path can help prepare us for our future, but what kind of influence do we have on those we encountered during our busy day? How are we affecting their lives and what is it that we talk about that has significance? Perhaps that little pat on the shoulder, a reminder that someone cares, or a few gentle supportive words are just as or maybe even much more important than our success.

Take a look at how you handle the people you are in contact with during your eventful day and watch their reaction to your interaction. Are you steering them in the right direction? Are you helping them overcome? Are you providing valuable information that can assist them in their journey? How deep do your communications run? Are there hidden meanings behind conversation that only the subconscious picks up? Are our acquaintances with us by chance? Is everything a coincidence?

Dig deep and uncover your potential. Infiltrate each and every life you come in contact with, with compassion and integrity. Work towards a better work environment where peace is generated and friendships are formed. “Feel” your way around and watch how you influence others. Your work place is important but not just to support you financially. Your attitude surrounding your work plays a significant role on how your day goes and your impact on those around you. Make your job work in favour of your growth, and find the real behind-the-scenes purpose of the common workplace.

Fixed T Square

A T-square is made up of at least three planets, usually at least two in opposition with one another and a third planet squares both these planets. The orbs or distance between the planets should be fairly tight, usually no more than five degree’s between the oppositions and about 2 degrees to the square. The tighter the angle between the planets in question, the stronger the influence in the Astrology chart. The planet that is square to both of the other two planets is the principal or focal planet. There are three types of T-squares, being the Cardinal, the Fixed and the Mutable T-squares. We will discuss the Fixed T-square today.

All T-squares induce a high degree of enthusiasm, motivation and a capacity to achieve. Some individuals that have this configuration in their Birth charts, place too much energy on the focal planet. This extreme focus in one area creates a tendency to produce a see-saw affect in which balance is needed to stop the individual from leaning too much in one direction. The focal planet involved as well as its house placement is indicative of where all the energy is focused. If this energy is used in a constructive fashion, the individual with this combination will become very successful. The T-square produces the greatest rate of achievement among major chart configurations.

The fixed T-square displays a high degree of strength, endurance and a strong will. These individuals have the ability to concentrate their energy in one direction with great determination and authority. They often use this energy in the formation of self-gratification and the fulfillment of their wants. There is a tendency for these individuals to take some time building up the energy required to move forward in the intended direction and then usually they release all this energy or drive outward in a forceful and dominant manner. It is like they gather information with great patience and then once they are assured internally of success, they will push forward aggressively in pursuit of their objective.

It is important that when pursuing their dreams and wishes that they use their energy constructively and create a foundation that can benefit all of those concerned. The overall project must reach beyond the needs of the self, as self-fulfillment eventually becomes shallow and does not hold its relevance for too long. Developing a sense of principles and ethics can prove to be one of the most beneficial outlets for all this energy and displacing it into useful avenues that service a greater cause will be most rewarding.

Communication

Many of us lead busy lives and spend much of our day tethered to our work, driving home to create the evening meal, completing tasks in our daily routine and then off to bed for another restful sleep. Many of us spend our evening after a meal, watching television or communicating with our acquaintances through Facebook or other social media. There are also those that spend countless hours playing interactive games via cell phones and the internet.

Take a moment and think about what is lacking in our day.

Communication on a one-to-one, face-to-face level is slowly being replaced by communication and interaction on our cell phones through the written word and other devices. We are so wrapped up in these communication devices, either playing games or texting that we have forgotten to be together as a family or to enjoy our friendships on a tangible level.

We are never alone as many of us can occupy one room but actual human interaction through emotion and physical contact on a platonic level is becoming a thing of the past. We are slowly loosing physical contact with one another in favour of electronic amusement or conversation. Our children are either watching television or gaming to occupy their time. If limits are not placed on these activities, these children are losing or never developing their social skills which are so necessary for both their physical and spiritual development. I recently read that there are direct links with the feelings of isolation, depression, distorted sense of reality, extreme or no sense of self worth, lack of social skills, etc. with the over use of technology with our children.

Are we losing our human nature from all of this technological contact? Are we losing out on interaction between friends and loved one and replacing this precious time with faceless interaction? I have personally experienced, as I am sure you have too, a group of people sitting together in a room and the majority of these people completely focused on their various communication devises to the point that they cannot carry on a conversation with those in the room. How can we, as a group, enjoy friendly conversation, interact and share our experiences?

Technology certainly has its place and if used correctly can enhance our quality of life. These tools are important for communicate with friends and family who cannot be with us. These tools are important learning tools with all its vast information as long as we take the information from reliable sources. These tools are great to fill time and unwind through social interaction or by playing games.

Use your technology but be sure that it is not at an exorbitant cost to you, your family and your friends. Share your life with those that are with you in body as well as with those that are on the other end of your communication devices. Ensure that your children develop all of the skills that they will need to enrich their lives. Nothing will ever replace a hug or kiss!

Moon in Sagittarius

As we have now entered into the sign of Sagittarius, we thought we would touch on some similarity with the Moon in Sagittarius. Keep in mind that the Moon is primarily representative of the emotional makeup that best describes us and our emotional well-being.

With the Moon agreeably placed in the sign of Sagittarius, many individuals with this placement are considered to be outspoken and enjoy a good debate. When expressing themselves, these individuals do so with vigor and lean strongly on philosophic points of view. They are always on the lookout for ways to express themselves in order to promote optimistic and adventurous ideologies. Their view of life, regardless of obstacles that may be placed in their way, harbours a feeling of great hope and they are rarely affected by life’s restrictions.

They have a wide, open approach to life and are receptive to almost anything as long as the intentions are in line with their belief structure. They are also known for their love of wide open spaces as they are truly in need of personal space but would gladly share their life with anyone that wants to be a part of it with them. They are a generous spirit and are inspiring with their positive attitude that can pull others out of their place of restriction and dismay. Their view of life, regardless of its challenges, reflects that there is always something just around the corner that will lift them out of the present situation. Because of this attitude, they are rarely down for long and bounce back from life’s difficulties with enthusiasm and buoyancy.

Friendships mean a great deal to the Moon in Sagittarius individual and they truly need someone to call their best friend. They welcome lifelong companions. Even when it comes to love, they will have to be their best friend first and foremost and then the rest will just naturally follow.

As with most of our posts, we tend to take an optimistic approach to life and to our Astrological interpretations. Describing primarily the negative qualities in our posts would serve little purpose. We would be amiss, however, if we did not touch on some of the important less attractive qualities that may surface. If these Moon in Sagittarius individuals accept their shortcomings, they are able to rid themselves of them.

Some individuals with this lunar placement can become rather dogmatic in their views and are not easily swayed in their opinions and belief structures. These opinions are abundant in many ways both for the positive and negative. These individuals can become overly optimistic and view life from a viewpoint that may not be all that realistic. They also have the foot-in-mouth disease at times and can unintentionally injure others with their direct, no-nonsense approach to questions that may be asked of them. Ask a question and be prepared to hear the truth regardless of how painful or direct it may be.

All in all, people with the Moon in Sagittarius, or a strong influence of planets in the ninth house, are pleasing individuals. You will enjoy being in their company as they will be comfortable in yours. Enjoy their enthusiastic approach and listen to their philosophic approach to life. Each one of us may learn a thing or two that could help our approach to life. These individuals will gladly be your friend and you can count on their honesty and unfiltered attitude towards all of life.

Leap of Faith

So are you ready to take that leap of faith? Can you move forward without any expectations? Are you willing to let go? We know that Spirit sustains us in our transcendent path. Something has an influence. There are far too many “coincidences”. Life is not by chance. It is too intricate, and there are far too miracles occurring if we care to look close enough to recognize them.

For many, the concept of believing is enough and they understand that letting go is the ultimate decision one can make to release themselves from the grips of the ego. The ego wants to have full control of our lives. This is what makes us hang on, as there is great fear in losing control. First, you must understand that the feeling of fear is not part of the true self; fear is ego generated. You are whole and can never be broken down or made less in any way. The ego, however, can be relinquished and the fear that you feel comes from this ability. We must learn not to identify with the ego and transcend beyond the ego’s interference.

Letting go can be difficult, because part of us believes that “things” may not work out (the way ego wants it too), or may not happen (the way ego wants it to). These are only concerns of wishing for things to be the way we WANT them to turn out. Is this always the best case scenario? Do we have a full understanding of what we need to learn? This once again is ego intervention. We are already perfect but in order to see this, we must be released from the clutches of the ego.

You control your reactions to life’s events. You control your destiny by the mind’s focus but who you are just is. The true you is not contained within this human shell. The true you is already whole and is totally connected with your source or basis of who we all are already. Letting go of fear and handing yourself over to the powers that be without ego is paramount in self realization and the awakening of the true spirit within us all.

The true you will never be lost as you are one with the whole. What else could you be?

We are all one and indivisible with our source, basis or God. To find God, you have to let go of ego and take that leap of faith. Move forward into your intended path. The journey awaits you. Let go of control and know that destiny has a place and purpose for you. We are meant to be enlightenment as one.

FAR SIGHTED

Looking down the road, where would you like to see yourself? What are your plans for the future and what will it take to make them a reality? These are valid questions you actually need to ask yourself. Write your goals down on paper; post them on a visual board but most importantly, believe that it is possible to reach them.

You have to affirm and pursue these objectives wholeheartedly. You have to visualize yourself after these goals have been brought into fruition. You must believe that you will attain these goals. It is important to make these goals or objectives in life reachable. If you pursue a goal that you know is unattainable and out of reach, then you fall short. As a result, you will relate to your pursuit as a failure. If you begin with an attainable pursuit that you know, with some work, that it is reachable, when you reach it, you will gain positive energy and reinforce your attitude towards the next step.

You gain inner strength and although you had to persevere and perhaps undergo some struggles, you achieved your goal. Knowing this will enhance your ability to move forward in your future intentions with confidence and that much more willpower.

It is important to make certain that these aims are not attached to material achievement although you can also attain material things. The universe is open and will supply you with whatever you affirm within yourself regardless of its nature, but material wealth only stimulates you temporarily and leaves you wanting more in the end.

If you can establish that your focus is beyond this worldly existence, you must be willing to give up part of yourself in order to maintain a more spiritual enlightening life. You need to give up or leave behind the ego’s intent to hold dominance over others in your life. By doing so, you open the door to spiritual growth and will begin your journey.

The negative, self fulfilling ego when allowed to flourish and bloom transcends spirit to lower level self-gratification, self-adornment and egocentric behaviours. It provides satisfaction, but of a very temporary nature and shortly after, you feel empty and unfulfilled. As a result, you are filled with want and are never satisfied, always on the hunt and pushing aside anything or anyone that gets in the way.

If you push through egocentric demands and make the spiritual conquest your objective, you will discover contentment and rewards that far outweigh anything offered from ego driven quests. You open the door to perception and can fine tune with clarity the passageway beyond earthly concerns. You let go of the will to control others and are more accepting of your life’s journey. Letting go provides a channel to the innermost dimensions of your true purpose. As they say, “Let go and let God”. Allow this opportunity to enter your life. All you have to do is open the door.
