Astrology's Moon in Aquarius

As we are current influenced by the sign of Aquarius, we thought we would look at how the Moon would affect those with the lunar placement of Aquarius.  The Moon, as defined by Master Astrologer Noel Tyle, is our reigning need.  The sign placement of the Moon at birth will define this need and characterize the individual.  This description will also apply to those individuals with Sun in Aquarius, Moon or Sun in the eleventh house, and/or the Ascendant in Aquarius.

These individuals are considered very observant and will spend countless hours trying to define what drives other people, and why they react to outside stimuli the way they do.  Most influenced by Aquarius will feel that they are different somehow, and in many cases, they are.  They walk their own walk and talk their own talk, unashamed of their uniqueness and their apparent individualistic mindset.

They are idealistic and progressive thinkers and many Aquarians are emotionally detached.  Many would believe that anxieties are linked to fear and emotional sensitivities that lead to fear do not exist for most Aquarians.  This belief structure is particularly noticeable when they offer advice to those that are extremely emotional.  Aquarians would offer intellectual solutions and a direct approach that sometimes renders them distant and emotionally unavailable.

There is a marked need for freedom and independence throughout life which would be more apparent in the early years when they somehow knew they were different.  In their early years, they may have preferred to remain by themselves although most are social and capable to communication on a wide variety of subjects.  In youth, they may have been prone to temper tantrums and never did well in emotionally messy situations.  This would also be true as they age and are maturing.  They are proficient at handling other people’s anxieties and can offer advice that may lift others out of their conundrum, but may lose touch with their own emotional barriers.

Most are kindhearted and compassionate individuals who genuinely care and wish to assist.  They make loyal and trustworthy companions and do well in groups and organizations where people of like-minds can absorb their innate knowledge.  They are eccentric in their nature but can always assist in furthering everyone else’s potential growth.  Many Aquarius individuals are considered very unreliable when it comes to the so called little details in life.  They are focused on the big picture and are always plunging forward in search of new horizons and adventures to enhance life and enrich the lives of those around them.

Our Path

Am I on track?  Is my path predestined?  Will I know when I am off track? 

Next time you meditate, ask definition of whom you are.  Go to the higher sources and make this request known.  At first, the answer may come in a brief response; clear with just a few words.  Perhaps the answer will consist of only one word, but keep up this pursuit and continually present the question to open self to dialogue without interfering with the response.  It will come perhaps in small segments, perhaps in a much bigger picture, but it will come.  Be patient as the inner source will provide the answer to those who are serious.  It may not be the answer you are looking for.  It will, however, surely be something that needs to come to your attention.

Many of us ponder the question, “Am I on track?”  After digging into “who am I”, and obtaining some guidance with this question, you also begin to uncover your mission.  Your mission is linked to who you are.  If you question your mission, you also question who you are.  You are always on track with your quest even when you still have questions.  Your purpose and how you link up with your destiny is uncovered gradually as life unfolds.  Many of us do not understand our mission, but we willing proceed as life opens doors.  It will happen, but often times not when you think you are ready, or when you feel the time is right.  You cannot lose faith.  If you do, you are running with your ego’s sense of impatience and are putting too much focus on what “you” believe you were born to do.  This only interferes with your true mission.

If you question, you still do not understand.  Once you truly know, there is no question.  It is only then that you move forward at a rate of speed that is suited for you as you are a unique individual.  There is no rushing.  The path will be unlocked when you are ready to move forward.  This may be upsetting to the ego, but you must understand that the forces that mediate the process know our level of understanding and know precisely when to open the next door. 

Life is a quest to live though true love and to learn this without question.  You have always known this instinctively.  There are many forms of love and many lessons to help us learn and recognize this.  As we do learn our life lessons, we will not be surprised as we slowly uncover our truths.

Will you know when you are off track?  Most certainly!  There is no doubt about it.  You will get little nudges throughout life that push you and makes you think about your life’s direction and what you need to do to get back on track again.  Do you intentionally have to move back onto your path?  It is highly suggested that you do as this is your purpose.  Some choose not to follow the path of least resistance and choose a path with obstacles and challenges.  The end result is still the same.  Spirit insists that you learn what you have come to learn and subconsciously you agree whether or not you are aware of it.  It is best to follow the clear and least obstructive path, but many choose to alter the direction and in so doing, learn difficult lessons along the way.  Without doubt, we all gain great insight through the struggles.

If life tables the occasional difficulty, we may stumble but continue on hardly noticing the interruption.  However, when life tables several issues or conditions, your response can create stress and you can allow yourself to be overwhelmed.  Take a good look around you and review what is going on.  There are undoubtedly many conditions that you are responding to in a stressful way, and as a result of your response, you are deeply affected on one level or another.  Step back and have an honest look.  The simple act of reflecting can ease this stress.

Toxic Relationship

Toxic relationships that just seem to drain you of your virtues and essence do not have to be forever. If you find yourself in a relationship that is damaging you emotionally and perhaps even physically, why would you feel that you must stay? You must examine the “why” behind this thinking. You must be truthful to yourself. Is the relationship worth being infuriated, emotionally drained or int...imidated? Have you physically been pushed around? Even just one physical encounter is unacceptable.

Relationships can produce unhealthy conditions that must be discarded to preserve your inner self. In many instances, those being crushed by hurtful remarks or physical control are too afraid or not confident enough to walk away. The idea of being alone or financially burdened or even the fear of retaliation jails some people in stagnant or violent relationships. Some individuals remain because they feel they deserve to be punished.

You have to ask yourself, “Am I happy?”. Once again be honest with your response. If the answer is no, take your questioning a little further. Am I unhappy due to my expectations of my partner or am I unhappy due to abnormal conditions in my relationship?

Perhaps there are children subject to these abnormal occurrences. Do they watch violence or depression due to circumstance? Do they believe that abuse, either physical or mental, is normal in relationships due to their experiences? Do not allow these enormous atrocities to weigh heavily on these innocent lives.

These little ones when subject to this level of animosity and hatred will carefully decipher the words being used and the actions being taken on a totally different level than you or I do. You are providing these little minds with information and teaching them a distorted concept of right, wrong and “normal”. If you raise them under adverse conditions and they see you infuriated, stressed, depressed on a regular basis, you are embedding these conditions as “normal” for their futures.

If the relationship is beyond healing or if you remain in this relationship for your children, perhaps it is time to review your priorities. If you are being verbally abused or physically assaulted, love yourself enough to step away. You and your family deserve to be happy.

Never give up on life, regardless of what the mind infers. Know that if you are willing to take the first step to help yourself, regardless of how painful that first step is, the possibilities are endless. Any thoughts of retribution or denial or even thoughts of self-worthlessness will need to be examined, perhaps with a professional.

Stand tall and make your move. Do not give up or resort to permanent solutions for temporary conditions. There is a future that is awaiting you, but before you can move forward, you have to let go of the past.

You are equipped with great strength and have a full reservoir of love and happiness reserved in “your name”. Move out of illusion and into reality. Believe you can do it. Happiness comes from within and the door is wide open. Walk through. Do not surrender yourself. You were born to soar! Allow this to happen.

Holm Astrology

MERCURY RETROGRADE February 6, 2014 - ASTROLOGY

Mercury goes retrograde 3 to 4 times each year.  Mercury will be going retrograde from February 6  through February 28, 2014.  It will moves through the sign of Pisces and then into Aquarius.  It is suggested that Mercury retrograde will affect those individuals that were born with Mercury retrograde in their Birth Charts more than those who were born with it direct. 

Make note of the house placement of Mercury in your horoscope.  Also note if it conjuncts any planet or angle during its motion.  The sign it is in during this time will be reflective of mental adjustments aligned with the sign where it is located in your Natal chart.  It may also affect the area of life dictated by the house position.  You must also take into account the placement of Mercury’s in your Natal chart--its house position and the aspects to it.  Much of what your Natal chart suggests may be area’s that will be affected by Mercury’s transit.

Mercury retrograde is not a huge life-changing event; however, it deserves mention due to the fact that Mercury is associated with the workings of the mind.  As Mercury begins to slow down or at least appear to slow down, some individuals experience a slowing of daily affairs and one will have time to reflect and contemplate life’s events.  It is considered a chance to go over old material that you may have ignored or left buried.  You may review decisions or try to make decisions but remember that quite often the best laid plans go astray during the retrograde motion.  It is best to wait until Mercury has completed its retrograde cycle before you move forward in the direction you choose.  It seems that the odds of things working well are often greater after Mercury goes direct.

It is suggested that one remains flexible during times of Mercury retrograde and not to sign any agreements or written documents.  There is a better success rate after retrograde motion is finalized.  If Mercury is not making contacts with Natal planets or is not very poorly aspected in the Birth chart, you need not worry as things remain relatively tame and little interferes will occur with plans. 

This is a time of self-study.  This is a time to reflect on who you are and what steps you might take to improve your self image.  Often individuals have issues return from the past; some lesson not quite learned or a concept failed.  It is now revisiting to give you the opportunity to finish that which needs to be completed.  You may now have the opportunity to make alternate plans, changes in direction, correct judgement calls or to get back on course after an errant turn.  These opportunities will present themselves when Mercury is direct in motion again.

It suggests that people and personal ideas are often the key to moving forward in a sound direction.  Some experience insights on alternate levels that propel them forward in a new direction.  In most cases unless highly afflicted (in the Natal chart and afflicted in the transit through connection with planets or angles), it is usually not a time to be overly concerned as very little may actually happen. 

Use this time to activate your mental process as the mental process is stimulated.  This could be the time that you discover hidden channels especially when Mercury moves through Pisces from the February 6 to February 13, 2014.

Spirit Guides

On occasion, do you feel as though someone is watching over you especially when you are deeply immersed in times of tribulations?  Have you ever been through a traumatic period in life when there appears to be no hope, and then suddenly, you feel relieved as if someone has taken part of the weight off of your shoulders?  These turbulent times are necessary ingredients to your ongoing growth and have been put in place to provide you with tests for your perseverance, patience, compassion, strength, etc.  When you have invested long periods of time working through these events and you get to that point where you feel there is nothing more you can do, this is when you will uncover the assistance you require.

You are never alone, no matter how alone you may feel.  When life seems desperate and there is no way around a barrier, there is always someone right over your shoulder ready to assist you in ways that enhance spiritual development.  It is not all about making it through the trauma with ease.  It is about lessons well learned in the process.  Spirit guides are always at your side and will assist you in taking the correct decisive action, or making accurate judgement calls.  They will push you in the direction that will best promote not only healing but will aid you in gaining inner strength and inner confidence.

Sometimes upon initial receipt of this guidance, you may wonder why you feel that this is your best option.  It may not even make sense logically although it will feel right.  This is the starting point; the change in direction.  Remember, that any transition period (even for the better) encompasses the most difficult of times.  As you move forward in your judgement call or new direction, it may be a little frightening at first, as it is new and you are traveling uncharted territory.  Something tells you to forge ahead and you are provided with confidence although you may not feel it is warranted.   Understand that without the notion of confidence which comes to you from the other side, you would never make the necessary adjustments and you would stagnate to the point of total disillusionment and eventually falter with no clear path and no decisive action.  You would be lost in doubt.

Although the path at times is difficult and unclear, believe in the little voice that says you are on the right path and you are making the right decision.  Your guides can always be counted on.  They are with you every step of the way, always at your proverbial finger tips.  Know this and understand that you are never alone through life’s drama, and you will always make your way through the obstruction.  There is always an answer.  You are never to give up.  You must have faith and believe that you will find the answer; you will return to your life’s more enjoyable path.  You have a mission.  Only you can stand in your way.  Listen to the guidance that is there, you need only choose to listen.  It is then that you will move beyond that barrier and you will uncover the happiness and love that is everyone’s right.  There are no exceptions!  Believe, have confidence and be open to the quiet voice that speaks to you.

Neptune and Jupiter in Astrology

Today, we are focusing on the combination of the two planets Neptune and Jupiter.  To uncover any relationship between these two planets, input your birth information into any reputable astrological site to create your Chart diagram.  Check to see if there are any connections between these two giants in your horoscope.  We will not be defining any particular aspect between these two planets, but will be defining the positive attributes when they are conjoined in a Chart.

Jupiter’s nature is to expand and open up areas that can lead to spiritual growth, as well as the development of knowledge that can promote a greater understanding into spiritual philosophies.  Jupiter is all about higher learning and often promotes good luck and good fortune in the areas touched by it in the Chart and it areas that are ruled by it in the Chart.

Neptune when operating in its higher octave deals directly with mysticism and spiritual connections.  It promotes intuitive perception, psychic inclinations and operates from a very high source-- connecting with the spiritual plane.  Neptune will stimulate the imagination and inspires you in the area it is located in the Birth Chart as well as the area it rules.

On the positive side, which is the focus of this post, when together in positive aspect, Neptune and Jupiter often produce magical, mystical experiences on very high levels.  There is wonderment in the making and an innate understanding of the workings of the intangible.  There are strong leanings towards the God Principle and a deep connection with this approach to life, as there are those individuals that would suggest that this belief structure is unsound. 

To individuals with this connection in their Chart, these principles are quite sound and are one of the strongest foundation points in their life.  They can yield to these principles and can always lean on them in times of challenge.  The mind and actual living conditions are cemented in the higher realms of being and operate through mystical channels.  These connections are often dormant in those that choose a more material approach to life.

The individuals with this connection believe that by following their mystical inclinations, they will help alter the world, perhaps in small increments, but within a force that guides to new and unexplored dimensions of reality. They believe that as a force, they can transcend the world to greater consciousness and help mold a more altruistic environment for all mankind to live in.

As expressed earlier, this segment applies to those with these combinations strong in their Charts and in good connection with other planets, but the overall affect of any aspect configuration involving these two planetary links can bring most individuals to higher principled realms of existence.
