THE ELEVENTH HOUSE IN ASTROLOGY

The eleventh house deals primarily with group endeavours, clubs and organizations that you would like to be or is affiliated with.  Within these groups, you seek to find fulfillment and often as a group you define your ideals and ambitions.  This is the house where we define our goals.  These are often inner goals and through the discovery of these aspirations, you can uncover your contribution to the world.

How we uncover these involvement is to look at the sign ruling this house cusp and the planets found within the house.  The relative ease or difficulty in reaching these aspirations is influenced by the planets within the eleventh house and the aspects formed through contacts with other planets.

The eleventh house is also the house of friendships.  The ruler of your eleventh house together with any planets found within this house will define the type of individuals that we associate with.  Friends and acquaintances are often found within a group consciousness and the gatherings of like-minded individuals.  Planetary links and aspects to these planets will define the degree of difficulty to maintain these friendships and/or the relative ease in forming them.

The fifth house is the opposite house to the eleventh house and often defines the love that we give out into the world.  The eleventh house has to do with the love received, usually through friendship and group acquaintances.  If the eleventh house ruler is under developmental tension, defined by the sign’s ruler and aspects to this ruling planet, there are often difficulties when it comes to a balance between love given and love received.  Often the individual feels as though they are doing all the giving and not enough is returned.

In summation, if for example you have Scorpio ruling the eleventh house, then the ruling planets would be Pluto and Mars.  This would suggest that the organizations that you would want to be involved in would probably have metaphysical undertones and this could be a driving force within the structure of these groups.  Much of your maturation developed through interchanges within these groups would lead to transformations that at some point in life would cause you to re-evaluate who you are, and what you could do to change the world around you.

CONCEPTUALIZING GOD

If we were to define our concept of God, we would have to define who and/or what God is to us.

Are we not all one with God?  As pure energy, are we not all the same?  As energy there is no difference between a tree or a mountain goat.

God encapsulates everything, including the food you eat, the pets we love and the mountain side that amazes our senses.  God is all around us and is the pure essence of life.  This universe and far beyond are part of God, the oceans are part of the vast whole, the sky, each drop of rain, each grain of sand are all a part of this vast whole.  Those things that you cannot put our hands on such as our thoughts encompass this oneness that is.  Our pure essence or God lives in all energy....in everything that exists.

Breathe in a breath of fresh air and you take in this pure essence.  God gives you life.  God dwells internally and radiating externally in all that is.  More majestic than the awe inspiring experience of standing at night and staring into the night sky seeing for distances beyond our comprehension or standing at the edge of a vast seemingly endless ocean view, this pure essence is simply love.  God is love and all things affiliated with love --compassion, gentleness, tranquility, harmony, peace, kindness.

Encompass God.  Radiate love, as love is the key to unlocking all things that bring true happiness.  The only way for us to find Love which is God in its/his/her purest form is to be love itself.  You cannot “find” love outside of self.  No one can show you the way.  You have to experience it from within.  Once you have learned to love yourself, only then can love radiates externally into your world.  Share your love with all of life.  This will bring peace to your world.  It begins with you!

"I feel this chart is a gift to me. I appreciate every word and believe so very much. I was drawn to your words and I love how this chart is worded.  I loved the fact that I had to read it twice and the second time I had to use a dictionary.

Thanks again for your words and this new guidance.  I know who I am and now I just have a new knowledge on where to direct my focus!"  D.R., NL

GENERATING LOVE

One of our greatest attributes is to “be” peace and find ourselves through reflecting inwardly.  We are all in search for love and happiness and it is our right to experience these emotional expressions.  Each and every one of us is deserving of these attributes.  Life is always offering us these rights but all too often we feel unworthy or simply do not recognize that which is in front of us.  Accepting love and maintaining this acceptance seems to be a continual pursuit.  Some feel love comes only in small segments and then leaves them with mere memories remaining.

At times it is the act of searching that holds us back, because we are so busy trying to find the love that fits our personal definition that we have our eyes closed to the ever-present love that envelopes us.  We create our own definition of what love should be.  We look to others for this expression and compare ourselves to those around us which only serves to emphasize that which we feel we are missing within our identity and in our lives.

We must come to an understanding that in order to experience love we have to be love.  Love is not something that is found externally.  We must learn to love ourselves for all of our goodness and even our shortcomings.  Love can radiate if we allow it.  We are the ones that generate the love we are in search of.

Accept yourself for who you are.  Love yourself first and foremost but not is a selfish way that is destructive towards other.  This is simply ego and the struggle for power.  Love is giving and caring.  Love is accepting.  Allow this love to flow.  True love cannot be contained.  Once you learn to love yourself, this love with spill over into your outer world.  It with overflow to touch each individual you come in contact with.  Your inner love will grow to fill your world.  What you put out in life is always returned.  Open that door!  You hold the key and the initiator to fulfilling this loving is you.

GEMINI - ASTROLOGY

The Sun has now moved into the sign of Gemini..  Those born with their Sun in Gemini, the Ascendant Gemini or a strong emphasis of planetary ties to the third house (ruled by Gemini) will identify with many of these character traits you are about to read.

The Sun is the most powerful influence of our Birth charts and is symbolic of the collective life force that is ever present in each one of us.  It represents our consciousness and is closely identifiable with who we are.  The characteristics reflective of the Sun describe the inner identity.

With the Sun in the sign of Gemini, a mutable air sign, those under this solar placement come from a place where thinking is the most important life force of their character.  They are extremely curious individuals who intellectualize everything, often flitting from one thing to another.  They are on a constant search, collecting data, internalizing feedback, and storing some of this information to enlarge their ever expanding knowledge reservoir.

They like to be on the move, to keep busy and share their day with those around them.  Communication is the key and if they are not sharing life with others verbally, they will do so using modern technology, never missing a beat.  Some of these individuals simply skim along the surface, but much depends on the sign in which Mercury is located in their Natal charts.  Other individuals under this sign will go deep into all subjects, again depending on the placement of their Mercury.  Those that skim along the surface, often have a tendency of leaving things unfinished which creates a need to go back and complete the tasks of the day, although they have to deem it important enough to do so.

These individuals have a love of variety and need constant stimulation to be happy.  They easily become bored with routine and enjoy most things that life offers.  Reading, writing and learning are prime objectives and furthering their knowledge on a wide variety of topics keeps them satisfied.  They are in pursuit of intellectual stimulation.

These individuals are considered friendly, cleaver and witty people.  They truly like most individuals and most people like them.  They make great teachers, are quite able when it comes to writing and communication of their ideas, love to share and display their intellect and make interesting and exciting companions.

THE DAWN OF AWAKENING

Is this life a manifestation of a dream?  Are we awake and conscious?

I have heard it questions if life could be a dream.  Is it possible to be caught up in a dream and not realize it?  Where do we go when we are in the dream state?  Is that place reality or is this place reality?  It is undoubtedly safe to say that both worlds are reality for the individual experiencing them.  At the very least, our dream state is as real as our awaken state as a learning tool.

Anything is possible.  All we know with certainty is that our conscious state is what we refer to as reality.  If we can alter our life’s course through mental processing and expectations and even forecast futures, what is really going on?  What is the big picture and how much of it do we actually see or comprehend?

Many of us are aware that there is much going on beneath the surface and that there are other energies about us existing in a different state than we are.  It is impossible for us to define as we are only aware of our limited human concepts.  Many speak of spirits or ghosts that live among us........far too many for us to ignore the concept.  There must be some truth in what all these people are experiencing.

Most of us will experience instances that cannot be explained and some experience visions and dreams that warn them of potential dangers.  In dreams some of us have visits from our deceased relatives and sometimes they provide us with insight into coming events or assist us in our quest for understanding.

Many who practice regular meditation have mystical experiences that are not easily defined by “rational” thinking.  Sometimes, things just cannot be explained.  If you were to practice meditate over a long period, you would experience events that might be difficult to understand, but if you look deep for the answers, you can decipher the meanings.

There is more to life than meets the eye.  Our earthly concepts are limiting.  Allow this awakening to unfold in your life simply by believing and accepting that the potential is there.

Allow your higher consciousness to emerge and awaken your latent talents.  Our conscious awakening is forever moving forward.  Our world is awakening to the higher energies that truly exist.  Believe!

MERCURY THE PLANET OF THE MIND - ASTROLOGY

As we are about to enter the sign of Gemini, we thought it only appropriate to discuss its ruling Planet, Mercury.  Mercury is the closest planet in orbit to the Sun and is never more than 28 degrees away from the Sun.  As these planets are in close proximity to one another, many individuals are born with these two planets in conjunction.  A conjunction is defined as two planets being within 8-10 degrees of one another.  There is also an aspect called the Cazimi (17 minutes separation or less) and when this occurs between Mercury and the Sun, the energies of both planets are greatly intensified.

Mercury is the planet of the mind.  It rules our intellectual abilities and the enhancement of the thought process.  Since Mercury brings delineation to whatever it touches in the Horoscope and greatly affects the thinking process, the sign that Mercury is in at the time of birth, the aspects being made to other planets with Mercury and the positions in the Natal chart defines how the mind operates.

Mercury in the Birth chart determines how we make sense of our lives and the world around us.  It controls our speech patterns and the way we communicate on a day-to-day basis.  It is our mental statement to the world and the sense of humor we display.  It also rules quickness of thought.  There is a huge difference between someone with Mercury in Aries (which could be defined as quick responsive thinking) and someone with Mercury in Capricorn (which would be described as slow methodical thinking).

Some are born with Mercury in retrograde motion (Mercury appearing to move backwards in the sky) and when Mercury goes retrograde through transit and touches off the retrograde Mercury in the Natal chart, the mind may slow down and may even become confused depending on the relationship to other planetary forces within the individual’s horoscope.  This is usually a time when these individuals should be careful and perhaps even put off the signing of important documents.

Mercury retrograde at birth is often characterized as an introverted mind when the individual thinks things through relentlessly before making up their mind.  Communication is the key phrase when relating to the planet Mercury and when we discuss the Sun moving into Gemini, which will be our next Astrology post, you will see how the mind has a great influence over this Sun sign.  Mercury is the ruling Planet of Gemini.
