Age 39 in Astrology

At age 39, we mark the second return of the nodes to their Natal (birth) position.  This is an important life cycle spiritually, as metaphorically the nodes are representative of our soul’s journey.  There are two nodes, each exactly opposite the other.  They are referred to as the north and south nodes.  The south node speaks of our last incarnation and indicates what we have brought with us into this life.  These characteristics can assist us but they can also hinder us, depending on how we use the inherent knowledge that we have brought over from our past.

The north node is indicative of what we have come into this life to develop and bring into fruition.  The north node characteristics are completely new to us - very unfamiliar territory.  Sometimes the course we take in this life in order to fill our soul’s requirements can be difficult.  We often have some degree of resistance toward anything new, but life will bring to surface incidents that can enhance the need to grow and push us in the intended direction.

At the time of the second nodal return, it is as if a gateway has been reopened and we are re-acquainted with our commitment, but this time on a much more mature level.  The previous return happened about the age of 19 and this period introduced us to adulthood.  From the time of our Saturn return (age 29) until now, we have been re-visiting our purpose but mostly on a sub-conscious level.  Now in entering this new cycle, we are reviewing our internal vows and making adjustments consciously.  We are about to embark on the maturing phase of these proposed ventures.  This cycle awakens our spiritual quest and the soul’s ongoing climb to mold with our conscious mind and our intended path or enlightenment.

Spiritually, we are entering into a phase when one feels compelled to pursue a course of action that appeals to our transcendent mission.  Many feel a strong push in this direction.  Even if they are not aware of which direction to take; there is a sense of urgency.  This period releases us to our purpose which has been held primarily internally in the subconscious self.  The process for most of us is unhurried and for some even tedious, as there is a feeling that something is happening and an awakening is taking place, but it moves very slowly.

The next return at around 57 produces much more significant results as throughout this process we are becoming awakened to the real purpose of our mission.  During the time around the age 58 we also enter our second Saturn Return which follows along the same path as our first return experience at about the age 29.

As you can see there are great internal factors at work and as internal changes take hold, external change is usually a by-product.  There is a greater sense of destiny with this nodal return, and along with the solidification that Saturn offers, you will get a clearer picture of the purpose of this incarnation.  We will discuss this 50’s time frame at a later date.

Suffice to say the door has been opened and through meditation and an acknowledgement of a greater purpose than that of our earthly existence, we move steadily toward our intended path.

LIFE’S PREDESTINED PATH

Our origin predates birth.  Our conception into this life was preordained.  We have come into this life with an innate knowledge of the path we are meant to walk.  We are spirits in a mortal life form, destined to facilitate our awakening as our life unfolds.  Each and every one of us is on this path of enlightenment although enlightenment unfolds from our individual circumstances and life’s conditions.

We are all on a path each engendered as male or female.  Although this holds some relevance, it does not facilitate awakening.  We learn primarily through life’s experience and are continually guided from within.  This internal knowledge is constant and super“natural” – to the extent that we generally are blind to this gift.  We are so focused on our earthly senses that we have drifted away from using this wonderful resource available to each and every one of us.

Our part in this journey is to remain open to inner dialogue and to maintain the channel to our higher self so we can continually utilize our soul’s endless knowledge.  This earthly body is a vehicle or channel for the soul’s expression.  We are to maintain an open dialog between our higher self and the US we know.

We have come into this life to allow the unfolding evolutionary path within and to do our part in facilitating this ongoing process on a global scale.  We are in the early stages of awakening on a global level and each and every one of us is a contractor of this evolution of mankind.  Do not dismiss your relevance.  You are part of the whole.  You are an important link in your own unique fashion; unique unto you although connected to the whole.

Allow the flow of information to continue.  Restore your understanding of your original purpose.  Spread the information that is available to you through the abundant nature of your life’s force.  Be one and in unity with the endless information within.  Acknowledge it and allow it to flow throughout your world.

YOURS TO DISCOVER

In life, we do not know what the road ahead will uncover.  We walk blindly down our road of life, some with great intensions and others carrying the weight of the world.  This road is ours to walk freely in whatever direction we choose.  The road ahead has many twists and turns, many unexpected ups and downs and as our course slowly unravels, we can learn the lessons that life offers.
There are some lessons that are very difficult to accept and others that can only be described as pure bliss.  Our reaction to these events creates our course and pushes us ever forward.

Often, life appears to direct us and push us blindly.  We do experience life’s sometimes challenging conditions, yet we always have control over our reactions.  We always have a choice on how we view our life, and these choices mold our reality.  Belief structure is our “part” in this journey and our reactions to life’s experiences are in our hands.

Our life is always unfolding as it should.  We need the lessons along the way to keep continually growing.  Our life experiences are not by chance but the choice is ours do we grow from these events or do we choose to be a victim.   We are the masters of our own reactions and we mold the future by our expectations.  Follow your chosen path with arms open wide and experience it all, each and every moment.

AGES 34-38 IN ASTROLOGY

This Astrology post pertains to people who are between 34-38 years of age.  For those of you that are over this age, you can reflect on just how this period affected your life.  For those that are younger than this age, this post will help you to be prepared for the upcoming period.

At roughly thirty-six, we all experience the third Jupiter return (it takes approximately 12 years to complete a cycle) as well as the third Saturn square to itself natally (in the birth chart).  These returns inspire a growth spurt in our lives.  Whether this opportunity encourages growth on a spiritual level or a material level, or both will be indicated by the natal position of Jupiter in your personal Chart.  A few examples could be material growth (second house connotation) occupational growth (tenth house) or spiritual growth (twelfth house) to name a few.

You are provided with opportunities to review your life and the belief structures that you have developed.  This is a period when you are able to improve your life’s attitudes.  In general you will learn more about yourself and how you fit into the world around you.  Often times there are transformations that take place in your life’s path.  These transformations are in direct correlation with a maturing outlook that you have been developing through the years.

There is a pronounced sense of freedom and new beginnings taking place in your life that offer opportunities where you feel you have vested rights and can now comfortably move into your future.  You have a strong sense of self-confidence and are beginning to understand that your life is in your hands.  There is a revitalisation taking place where you are now able to review your fundamental beliefs and move forward with more confidence than before.  There is a new sense of direction and it comes from deep within your core.  You are beginning to understand that the best educator in your life’s journey dwells within.

During this same time frame, you also have the Saturn transit affecting you.  This is a very organizational transit and it is vital as Jupiter’s energies are ever-expanding and Saturn keeps things in prospective.  Saturn requires you to set parameters and boundaries on this new found freedom.  Saturn helps to unify and merge these new found optimistic attitudes and self-knowledge.  Saturn will offer some restraint so that you have the opportunity to find your true potential without going beyond your limits.  The conflicts that are often accompanied with these two opposing forces are arbitrated directly by you.  There is very little outside influence.  You are in control!

YOU ARE WHO YOU ARE

Amidst all the commotion of everyday life, stay true to whom you are.  Do not be swayed by opinions or events.  Stay strong to your true identity.  You are who you are and as such, the potential within allows you to be the best person you can possibly be.  Stay committed to your true self regardless of peer pressure and outside forces.  Be yourself!  There is no one better for you to be than your own true self.

Do not let peer pressure define your character.  No one can force you to change or take away any of your true characters without your consent.  You are your purpose; you are your destiny.  It can take some individuals many years to come to this realization and to accept it.  Why wait?  Let your true self shine through now!  Worrying about what others think holds little significance.  What other think of us is truly none of our business.  It is only their opinion and opinions are not necessarily truths.

The road to self-awareness can be a bumpy one, but it is not necessary.  Let go of any self-defeatist attitudes of self.  Let go of what “might” be and that which others want you to be.  By living through someone else’s expectations, you only serve to cage the true person you are.  Be true to yourself and be who you are meant to be.  Identify with those character traits that make you feel whole and do not fear ridicule from others.

You have come into this life for self-discovery --to unravel your true identity and in attaining this you gently move into who you are meant to be.  Find yourself through positive feedback which is generated from within your psyche.  Identify only with what makes you happy and content.  The true self is these characteristics.  Holding on to any negativity, whether it be someone else’s opinion or your own opinion, only serves to hold back your progress and your understanding of who you truly are.

THE ELEVENTH HOUSE IN ASTROLOGY

The eleventh house deals primarily with group endeavours, clubs and organizations that you would like to be or is affiliated with.  Within these groups, you seek to find fulfillment and often as a group you define your ideals and ambitions.  This is the house where we define our goals.  These are often inner goals and through the discovery of these aspirations, you can uncover your contribution to the world.

How we uncover these involvement is to look at the sign ruling this house cusp and the planets found within the house.  The relative ease or difficulty in reaching these aspirations is influenced by the planets within the eleventh house and the aspects formed through contacts with other planets.

The eleventh house is also the house of friendships.  The ruler of your eleventh house together with any planets found within this house will define the type of individuals that we associate with.  Friends and acquaintances are often found within a group consciousness and the gatherings of like-minded individuals.  Planetary links and aspects to these planets will define the degree of difficulty to maintain these friendships and/or the relative ease in forming them.

The fifth house is the opposite house to the eleventh house and often defines the love that we give out into the world.  The eleventh house has to do with the love received, usually through friendship and group acquaintances.  If the eleventh house ruler is under developmental tension, defined by the sign’s ruler and aspects to this ruling planet, there are often difficulties when it comes to a balance between love given and love received.  Often the individual feels as though they are doing all the giving and not enough is returned.

In summation, if for example you have Scorpio ruling the eleventh house, then the ruling planets would be Pluto and Mars.  This would suggest that the organizations that you would want to be involved in would probably have metaphysical undertones and this could be a driving force within the structure of these groups.  Much of your maturation developed through interchanges within these groups would lead to transformations that at some point in life would cause you to re-evaluate who you are, and what you could do to change the world around you.
