MAKE A DIFFERENCE

 

There are times in life when sitting back and doing nothing just simply will not do.  We have to stand up and be part of the change that is needed.  What better way than to be the one who initiates this action. 

 

“Should I wait for someone else to start the process?” could be the way our mind operates.  The mind can thinks up intensions but come up with reasons why we should not act.  Every once in a while, we are so committed to an idea, we can overcome the ego interference and move forward with our motivating ideas.

 

Sometimes it can be hard work and it would be so much easier if someone else starts things or we may feel we are not up to the task.  However, we can’t always wait for others especially when an idea surfaces and there is potential for positive results if we only took that first step to begin. 

 

We can make a difference in our world.  We do not have to be followers and we are good enough to make a difference.  We are leaders even if we underestimate ourselves.  Give yourself a chance. 

 

The right idea can snowball once it gets rolling.  We are not here to sit back and be a spectator.  We are here to live and living is taking action.  Make things happen.  Kindness, love, and affection can have profound effects if this is the route we take.  If someone is struggling why not take a shot at helping them move in a different direction, if they are looking for help?  If someone is lonely or afraid why not be the one that eases their mind or brings them friendship?

 

Do not sit back when opportunity knocks.  We do not know what lies ahead until we take that step.  Be the forerunner.  Be that motivating factor.  Be the light that radiates out into our world and lights the path. 

 

Maybe it is only you that can make that difference!

THE PLUTO IN VIRGO GENERATION

 

If you were born between mid-1957 to mid-1972, you are the Pluto in Virgo generation, give or take a few months either side of this time frame, as Pluto went retrograde during this period (appearing to move backwards in the heavens). 

 

This generation may be somewhat obsessive about their health and cleanliness.  They are intensely interested in keeping their body in top shape if they are able (compared to previous generations), through rigorous exercise routines and proper diet.  This may vary, however, depending on what house Pluto is found in within their natal chart and the aspects applied to Pluto.

 

Virgo can become obsessively involved in many things, as they have great analytical abilities and the ability to uncover life’s minute details.   

 

In general, most Pluto in Virgo individuals find their working life rather important to them and they push themselves trying to find perfection and uncovering all the minute flaws within the working environment.  Some prefer to remain in the background rather than being up front and getting all of the attention.  Behind the scenes analytical and research work will suit most individuals born with this combination.  They would make excellent detectives and specialists in fields such as psychology, parapsychology and virtually any field that requires deep concentration and deep focus.  They are usually absorbed in their work and comfortable in knowing that they are doing their best.  Doing their best is a compulsive need and this is why they are highly sought after in the working environment.

 

These individuals are inwardly intense, analysing themselves, identifying flaws and could become overly critical of themselves and others to the point of obsession, yet have difficulty accepting criticism.  When angered they usually become quite heated yet they can keep most of what they feel inside.  They need to find a way to release this pent up anger and stop worrying over issues.  This worry can lead to health related issues as life progresses, especially nervous conditions.  Rigorous exercise such as running, the martial arts, and anything that pushes the body and releases the mind from the day’s activities will assist in letting go of these feelings.  Gentle exercise routines such as Yoga, Tie-Chee can also do wonders for these individuals.  Without such physical release, restrictions and dis-ease in the body can occur.

These people are inwardly intense and need deep study as there is a yearning for understanding any subject in great detail, especially themselves.  A profession in research, institutional occupations or working in government positions would also be of interest to these individuals.  They make good counsellors, pharmaceutical engineers, and mechanics, anything related to detailed work.

 

There may also be an interest in all hidden matters, such as the occult and the fields of metaphysics.  Any mystery holds their interest and they are great at solving deep internalized issues in others.  Most at some point in their lives will redirect their energy outward after transforming their lives, through self-actualization techniques, but not until they have completed a thorough self-study and understand entirely what makes them tick.  Once they make this transformation to a higher sense of being, there is great healing power in many of these individuals.  They can use this gift to assist others and help them overcome many of their life’s deficiencies.

FULL MOON LUNAR ECLIPSE JULY 5, 2020

 

We will be experiencing a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse on July 5, 2020 at 12:44 am EST.  This eclipse is found in the sign of Capricorn at 13 degrees and 38 minutes.  Anyone with a planets or angle in square, conjunction, or opposition to this degree (using an orb of 3-5 degrees) will be influenced by the energies of this Eclipse.

 

Eclipses speak of changes in direction and an understanding of which way to turn.  Action is required, and in many cases if we choose to ignore the details, events will take place to force us into action.  This is a time of breaking with tradition or patterns that no longer suit our evolutionary quest or growth.  It is a time of harvesting the seeds that we planted under the energies of the New Moon.  Change is needed, so these energies should not be viewed as negative.

 

The Sun and Moon are in opposition to one another during a Full Moon.  In this case the Sun is in Cancer while the Moon is in Capricorn (exactly opposite one another by degree).  This can be a time of resolving any long-standing issues that need to be brought to the surface.  Since the sign of Cancer deals with home life and the family as well as our roots and Capricorn deals with duty and obligations and often issues related to occupation, this will be a time when we need to find balance and harmony between our occupation/goals in life and our family and the need for nurturing that can now be re-implemented.

 

If there have been pre-existing challenging conditions within a close personal relationship such as marriage or business partnership, this can be a time to find resolutions that are needed in order for change to occur (albeit challenging). 

 

Since this is the final stage of the Cancer/Capricorn series of eclipses which began in January of 2018, this is the last period where resolutions at least through these energies can unfold.  This is a time of breaking away from old patterns and owning your own emotional baggage which is not easy to do.  This is a time of seeing your own shadow personality and then deciding to move in the appropriate direction so that the changes you will be setting in place offer some time of solution to the issues before you.

 

This is often a time of endings and breakthroughs.  We will now see the fruits of our labours (the results of our past efforts).  At the very worse, we may be picking up the pieces and begin again (but this is not a terrible thing).  We can use what we have learned from our previous actions and put things in their proper place which in turn opens doors that might otherwise have been closed prior to this period.

 

This is a time of letting go and understanding the forces in place.  Once this takes place, we can allow the energies to assist in any way possible.  Take responsibility where necessary and know that you are not the only one involved in the equation.  If this is a relationship of significance both parties must take ownership to resolve any issues that might be present.  Utilize the energies at hand.

 

Have a close look at any indicators in your chart that suggests how this eclipse may influence you.  The houses and planets involved will provide you with information to move ahead and to understand the present conditions.

ALWAYS STRIVE TOWARDS THE POSITIVE APPROACH

 

As the mind’s focus pushes us in a particular direction, we can learn to redirect that focus on positivity.  This is not to say that we should ignore challenging conditions or put our head in the sand. 

 

What it does suggest however is that since we know what we focus on is magnified, a conscious effort should be placed on the constructive and affirmative focal point of what we deem important or significant in our lives and for those around us. 

 

What we express or communicate through words also has influence on our environment and those around us.  We plant seeds in all fertile ground that we touch; let’s make sure those seeds are beneficial, no seeds of weeds. 

 

We are not ignoring the hurt, the sorrow, the barriers, the lessons.  What we are suggesting is quite the opposite.  We acknowledge these and take from them the information that assists with our growth but we do not take up residence in these.  We see the benefit of all events and utilize this benefit, but we do not allow ourselves to be defined by these events nor do we allow ourselves to be swept away by negativity, fear or anxiety.  There is no real purpose in defining our lives through these avenues of expression and we only hurt ourselves and often those around us by focusing on these negative vibrations. 

 

We are not turning our back on what we know to be real, but we are bringing to the surface what is important and to brings joy in some form.  Happiness is a choice not something found.

 

Our focus expands in our lives as we concentrate, regardless of what that concentration point may be.  It is important to become aware of this as it is easy to be swept away in the moment by challenging situations. 

 

We have choices to make and are not at the mercy of life, but we are at the mercy of our thoughts.  We can move in whatever direction we deem helps us or in contrast we can move in directions that we know can harm us and cause worry and stress. 

 

Pay attention to how your body reacts to events.  If you are feeling unwell, mentally or physically, this is a warning that you are living with stress and anxiety.   Avoid dis-ease! 

 

Practice mindfulness.  Practice moving your focus to all that bring hope and a feeling of wellbeing.  Life will happen but you have a choice on how you react to it.

 

Build on positivity by recognizing negative thoughts and reactions and stopping them in their infancy so they will not grow out of proportion and propel you in directions that are less than productive.  Spend your time wisely and build on something that will propel you forward in a positive and constructive direction.  You are worth the effort!

RACISM AND ITS MANY FACES

 

There is a high energy of change currently in our world.  Not only are we experiencing the pandemic and a downturn in the financial world, we are also dealing with a much-needed elimination of racism. 

 

There have been many peaceful and controlled marches and demonstrations honouring the rights of minority groups particularly connected to “Black Lives Matter”.  Many races have been treated unfairly as far back as any of us can remember and beyond.

 

There have been issues related to minority groups since the beginning of time.  Still today, we see reports of ethnic cleansing, religious restrictions, gender bias, racism, age discrimination, and the list goes on and on. 

 

It is time to face discrimination head on.  We are all equal and stand side by side, as one, demonstrating our need for justice, our need for fairness and our need to the equal rights for all.  Changes must take place and this change must begin in our own homes.  It is up to each individual to realize that we are all human beings, each bringing forth their own valuable gifts to society and our world as a whole.  We share this planet together and this pandemic, on its own, reiterates that we are all created equally…..we are all human.  This virus can spread to all human beings regardless of race, colour, religion, sexual preference, wealth, age, etc.  We are all in this together.

 

Each and every one of us play a part in creating change; change that will enhance all lives.  We must be the example of this change.

 

Focus on the energy of change, see it unfolding.  Without a vision of change, change will not happen. 

 

So much of society as it was pre this pandemic was not working.  We have been provided with an opportunity to stop, review and move forward in a different manner.  It is time to find ways to share life together, living in peace and simply allowing the love that lives within each and every one of us to flourish. 

 

Because of our connections to all living things, what you do for others, you do for yourself. 

 

This is our change to make a change, a permanent change.  Second chances are never guaranteed.  Make this opportunity count!

TRANSITING JUPITER TRINE NATAL VENUS

 

This is the aspect we all wait to take place in our chart.  Positive energies abound and fortunate conditions are at hand particularly if there are other factors in the chart that point in the same direction such as Neptune conjuncting your North Node or a favourable aspect to your Sun or Ascendant.  The more that speaks in positive terms, the greater the opportunities for success and favourable things taking hold in your life.  The houses where Jupiter and Venus are found will be the areas of life that are being affected by these positive energies.

 

If for example the fifth and first houses are involved, then this could be speaking of a fortunate relationship now being formed.  If the North Node is involved, then this could be a person who enters your life at the right time.  If the South Node is involved, then this individual may be someone from your past either in this life or in a previous life.  If the Sun is involved perhaps this speaks of goals you might have for yourself and if this also aligns with your North Node it means that you are right on track and exactly where you need to go.

 

This post is written in June 2020 and transiting Jupiter is in retrograde as of May and remains in its retrograde motion until September, 2020 so if you happen to have your Venus in a degree where Jupiter will make contact, it may make another pass and a final pass activating these areas for quite some time.

 

Jupiter tends to bring good fortune and good luck and expands on things that are set in motion.  Venus can speak of a love relationship or it can speak of finances or even simply the enjoyment of others.  Venus speaks of times of social interaction even though this is challenging at this time with our current pandemic, but perhaps some restrictions will be lifted or loosened.  This of course does not mean that you ignore what is already in place, but the opportunities are there for growth and good fortune on some level of experience.

 

If this aspect applies to you then it is time to take advantage of the energies at hand and make the best of a positive opportunity.  It might very well open the doors to opportunities in the near future.  This is a positive influence although of course any other factor taking hold at this time will have to be evaluated and written into the final equation.

MANY PLANETS IN RETROGRADE

 

Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, and Pluto were all be in retrograde as of June 23, 2020.  Venus was finished its retrograde cycle yesterday,  June 25 as it once again returned to its direct cycle.  All the planets while in their retrograde motion do not function at full potential, except for Saturn.  Saturn actually works more favourably when in retrograde motion.

 

While Mercury is in retrograde, it is best not to sign any agreements.  It is a time of reviewing any plans that you will set in motion when it becomes direct once again.  However, if you are in the middle of something do not let Mercury retrograde stand it the way.  You may find that things do not go exactly as planned.  If you can wait to move forward would be best bet.  Mercury is usually retrograde for about 3 weeks and will be direct once again on July 12, 2020.

 

Venus while in retrograde may hold back any social activity and if there are romantic relationships brewing, things may not work out as well as you would like them to.  Sometimes Venus speaks of your financial situation and this period may see a slowdown in your financial situation or you may feel as though there are shortages.  You may even feel somewhat lacking in love and affection, as well.  Venus will be in retrograde from May 13 until June 25.

 

Jupiter went into retrograde on May 14 and will remain there until September 13, 2020.  Jupiter in direct motion works very favourably and often produces growth and expansion and good luck in obtaining benefits.  When in retrograde motion, these energies are not as powerful although fortunate conditions are still likely, but you may have to work harder for the results you are looking for.   Jupiter is the most favourable planet in the zodiac, and it is what we wait for when it aspects planets in our chart.  It is important to remember that these energies are always more powerful when they are making aspects to the natal positions.

 

Saturn went retrograde on May 11 and remains there until September 29, 2020.  Saturn’s energies, as mentioned earlier, flow more easily when Saturn is in its retrograde cycle, although hard work and disciplined efforts will still be required because Saturn insists on a solid foundation.  While in direct motions Saturn brings hardships, delays, and restrictions with whatever it touches.  It is the great teacher of the Zodiac although you may not enjoy Saturn too much when its teachings are tough.  Saturn however builds structure and adds reliability and longevity if you build and follow each step that is required.  Taking short cuts is never recommended.

 

The outer planets stay in retrograde for about half of the year and the rest of the time are in direct motion.  There is a period called stationary direct or stationary retrograde when the energies are very powerful and during these times the energies associated with the planets are stimulated.  Once again it is important to remember that in order for the energies of these planets to have any real affect on you, they need to make aspects within your natal chart, and these aspects can be to planets or angles. 

 

As the transiting planets move through the houses and the houses are the areas of life that will be affected.  Check the transiting planets by house to the various natal planets by house position and the natal position of the transit in question will add more information to the deciphering process.  The more aspect to the natal position, the more powerful the energies in your life.
