PERSONAL PASSAGE

For some of us this life is not on its maiden voyage. We have had several life experiences that have led us to where we are today. Life experiences teach us valuable lessons. It is believed that the soul approaches each life segment with the understanding that the experience will assist in aligning us with our ultimate goal, which some believe is our return to the whole.

 

We must be open to all possibilities but are entitled to our own beliefs and to accepting what is right for us specifically (and this may not feel right for others).

 

It is from this perspective that, in the end, we will all likely end up in the same place but through different passages.

 

Some of us will learn more through hurt or intimidation. Some of us may have resorted to violence or believe that money and what it brings is all that matters. Others may follow ego and not be interested in listening to other people’s perspective. Whatever our path, we will learn valuable lessons from it.

 

It is believed that the inhabitants of our earth are going through a transformation or transitional stage and that we are the forerunners of an evolutionary quest towards eliminating injustice or aggression. To eliminate something, we must first understand it. Is this why we are experiencing the chaos that we are?

 

Each of us have our part to play whether it’s teaching the world by example what it does not want to do or what it does want to do.

 

We can be the examples of freedom of thought and happiness through peace and tranquil solutions. We affect others by our personal actions and how we relate to the outside world. Each step we take towards peace is a step for humanity towards the same goal.

TRANSITS AFFECTING SUN IN LEO 2022

T Mercury moved into the sign of Leo on July 20, 2022 and will remain in Leo forming conjunctions as it moves through the sign with all those with Sun in Leo until it moves into Virgo on August 5.

 

Mercury has to do with the thought process, and it will stimulate the intensions of those with this sign. Ideas may be enhanced, and plans may be undertaken at this time. Follow-through will be important. Much will depend on the house where the Natal Sun is located as this is the area of life being stimulated.

 

During the month of July through October T Saturn is in retrograde making an opposition to those with their Sun in the mid to later degrees of Leo (15-26°). Oppositions can be challenging although when Saturn is in retrograde its influence is not as harsh and often suggests that growth through experience and teachings are available. Oppositions often involve other people and those with this aspect will find that other people often present themselves offering advice or pushing for action through a dedicated effort. This may not be pleasant to the average Leo as they like to rule the jungle but perhaps it might be a good idea to hear what they have to say. Take into consideration the position of T Saturn and the Natal Sun to get a clearer understanding of what potential is available.

 

As Saturn becomes direct on October 23 its energies might not work as well as more obstacles and difficulties are common under Saturn’s direct motion. Saturn operates much better and offers more rewards for diligent effort under its retrograde motion.

PROCURED ADVANCEMENT

To advance our cause (which differs from one person to the next), we must believe in ourselves.  We cannot move ahead with our objectives if we don’t believe in what we are doing or if we have an attitude that we cannot accomplish what we set out to do.

 

Our intentions must be positive. With the belief that we will succeed, we advance in our own time and in our own way.

SUN IN LEO JULY 22, 2022

The Sun moves from the Cardinal Water sign of Cancer into the Fixed Fire sign of Leo on July 22, 2022. Leo is an energetic, playful, dramatic, and bold sign. Leo’s intensions are always noble, and all stems from the heart. Leo has a strong ego and relies on self as they are often noted as being a leader not a follower. They can be bursting with confidence and are quite charming and full of fun.

 

Leo in love give all of themselves, but also wish to have a partner that they can look up to.

 

Leo needs stimulation and often enjoys taking trips, the outdoors and wants to take part in recreational activities. They are very spontaneous and may act with little forethought, being very much in the moment. Leo is often found to be the center of attention and likes applause and recognition for what they do. They need and love a pat on the back for their effort and this recognition goes a long way.

 

Leos’ attitude is optimistic, and their disposition is quite cheerful. Their intentions are noble.

CLIMBING ABOVE INTRUSIVE THOUGHTS

We must always remember that our thoughts stem from within and we can ultimately steer them in any direction we desire. We are not at the mercy of these thoughts, but it may seem that way at times. We struggle when we are captive of these ideas and their constant barrage that create conflict. This can go on for long periods of time, even years for some, as they live within the clutches of thoughts.

 

The conflict continues for as long as it takes us to recognize that they are merely thoughts and not concrete reality.

 

The longer we adopt a belief, the more it is manifested into our reality. It takes time for life to begin to appear this way, but it does slowly creeps in.

 

Eg. You learned a new word yesterday and today you have heard several people use it YET previously you had never heard of it.  You attention is now focused on that new word and it shows up repeatedly.

 

We can change the direction of our thoughts through our focus. If we focus our attention on the negative in our life, we highlight this and draw more of the same. If we begin to focus our attention on the positive in life even if there is very little at the time, the ongoing focus creates more of the same.

 

We may have been under a thought influence for a long time. We choose, however, how long we wish to hold on to adverse experiences and our attitude towards these events. The longer we have been held under the spell of disillusionment the longer it may take to reprogram our mind. As the old saying goes “Rome was not built in one day”.

 

When we decide that we will no longer be held by these conflicts and learn to catch them in the early stages of development we can stifle the process. Life will still happen as it does for us all, but we can choose how to relate to these conditions, and we choose how long to hold on to them. We are the masters of our life’s experience internally as we control our reaction to life’s events.

TRANSITING JUPITER IN ARIES

Transiting Jupiter is moving through the sign of Aries except for a short period when it moves back into Pisces from October 29 to December 21, 2022. Jupiter remains in the sign of Aries until May 17, 2023 then moves into Taurus.

 

Jupiter will affect natal charts that are in aspect to this placement, especially by the major aspects (Conjunction, Opposition, Square, Trine, and Sextile). Check which planets or angles in your natal chart that will be impacted by this position. The planets, signs they are in, houses where they are located and the position of T Jupiter will clearly define how Jupiter’s energies will unfold in your life. Of course, you also must take into consideration the other influences from transits and progressions during the aspect. An experienced Astrologer can assist you with this if you are unable to delineate what this means in the birth chart.

 

Jupiter is the planet of optimism and good fortune & is considered the most supportive and favourable of all planets in Astrology. Jupiter expands, presents growth opportunities and is known as the great benefic. It signifies the highest aspects of your life and is often associated with religious views, philosophy and spiritual understanding. It is the law maker and always wants to set things right and put them in their proper perspective. Jupiter promotes growth and expansion through experience and provides us with what we need on all levels and even when in challenging aspect to other planets, except for Saturn which offers growth through conscious effort.

 

When Jupiter is in Aries that is the time to move ahead with personal plans especially if in favourable aspect. Aries is about personal objectives and striving towards what is important in your life at that point in time. Aries does not always offer success even with the presence of Jupiter (the rest of the chart must be considered) but even when you fall short of your objectives you can get up and begin again, learning from life’s lessons.

 

This is a time to advance cautiously as Aries tends to jump without due consideration. Think before you move ahead might be the moto required but in many cases, opportunities are right in front of you. Take advantage!

BRINGING POSITIVITY INTO OUR LIFE

If we concentrate on life’s challenges, we amplify the “challenging conditions”. On some level we need to take responsibility. This is not to say that we created the event, but we decided how we wanted to relate and respond to it.

 

If we try to ignore thoughts or life lesson’s, we are placing more focus there by working on ignoring them. Trying to ignore something is impossible. We need to process the information, then accept and release as this changes the course of the thought process. You will notice that I said, “the course of the thought process”, not “our” thought process. This was intentional because we are not to identify with these difficult and intrusive thoughts. They are not ours to own, even though they stem from the mind.

 

Eg. If you think of yourself as being stupid, this is a detrimental thought and you should not identify with it. Anything that makes you feel bad or unworthy should not be identified with. Why would you make something yours that makes you feel bad or not deserving or not enough?

 

Life is not to reside in these thoughts and experiences. Find the place within that makes you feel loved. Why would you want to be experiencing anything else?

 

Challenging life conditions are a part of life.  They are lessons.  Experience the challenges. They are our greatest teachers. Many of us will through example become teachers for others. They will either learn not repeat our example or they will learn from our example.

 

All life lessons promote growth and expansion. They teach us but again, they are not for us to own.  Experience, learn and release!
