ELIMINATING NEGATIVITY FROM YOUR CONNECTION

If we allow ourselves a few moments to reflect on who we are, without condemnation, only paying attention to our most positive traits, what do you see?  How does this positive knowing fit into our perceived notion of who we are?  What frame of mind is this attitude originating from?

You have to take an honest look at who we think we are.  Once we are being open to these notions, we can eliminate or disengage ourselves from any preconceived notion that leads to forming a negative approach to our true identities.   

We are products of the concepts that we identify with.  Again.....we believe that our “perceived impressions” are who we truly are.  We are misled by notions that any perceived negative manifestation must be a part of who we are.

We are in a constant state of “becoming” and what we believe to be true, we create as our identity because through perpetual focus we create.  If there is something in our makeup that clearly misrepresents who we want to be, then it is in our hands to make a conscious choice as to whether we will allow this characteristic to manifest in physical and mental terms.  We are not at the mercy of our beliefs, unless we believe that we have no control of what transpires in our lives.

Who we think we are, is evidence of this.  Who we think we are now is a formulation of our current beliefs and it creates the perception of us for today.  We have manufactured this identity and it is our identification with this that allows us to perceive it as real.  We use the term “identify” over and over again.  If we understand the fact that our identification is what makes it so, we will understand why this term is used so frequently.  It makes us aware of the control we have over situations in our lives and the manufacturing of our perception of who we are becoming.

If there is something within us that does not sit well or does not feel right, we can let it go and stop believing that it is part of us.  We are the only person that makes anything in life truth for us personally.  We manifest our beliefs over time and where we are and who we are now flows in conjunction with what we have allowed into our consciousness.

The saying goes that we become who we associate with.  We are told this early in life.  We are told to pick our friends carefully as it is easy to form ourselves into what is in front of us.  However, we have actually chosen to take this characteristic from our friend and to make it our own.  It is all too easy to mirror what we see regularly.  Just as our thoughts, we mirror or manifest into our personality that which we think. 

We control the building of concrete materials and characteristics into our lives.  Do not place responsibility on others for what you experience in your life.  What has happened in the past is in the past.  What we do, say, think, feel today is a product of a choice we are making today.  Let the events of yesterday stay where they belong..... in the past.  When we learn to channel our focus and our identification of self, our focus materializes on our new reality.  The choice is ours.

Look within and find what feels comfortable and content and then hold on to those qualities.  Let go of anything that does not resonate in our core.  We can release ourselves from the grips of these qualities.  We have been practicing this exercise our whole lives but not fully understanding our ability to choose and create.  Now it is time to understand that we are manifesting our own reality on a conscious level through our intentions.

AGES 38-44

We are going to take a look at the life turning point at ages 38-44 and how it is indicated in our chart.

This is the turning point where we move from early adulthood to mid-life.  This is a period when most of us are evolving to the point that we can reconcile with ourselves and are more comfortable with who we truly are.  This is a time when we are restructuring our association with ourselves on a more profound level.  A sense of individualization is occurring (which can be at a very rapid pace), due to the major influences taking place in our lives. 

During this age frame, we are experiencing transiting Saturn in trine to its natal position and Neptune in square to its natal position.  These aspects signify inner transformations and a realistic approach to who we are.  There may even be a feeling of urgency with our quest in life, with dealings with our ego and the ongoing search for “who am I?” for those that feel they need answers. 

There is no formal training when it comes to what many term as the midlife crisis and no one can say they are prepared, particularly because no one knows exactly what to expect.  Each individual goes through their own personal issues and then an awakening takes place.  This is a time of great soul searching and a desire for inner change which often coincides with outer change, as one seems to affect the other.

The body is also undergoing physical changes during this time in our lives, and those who have placed too much attention on their physical appearance may become depressed with what they see in the mirror.  Many will go deep within to find out what they actually have to offer, as for some the appearance has been held in an elevated position most of their lives.  The ego is actually in a somewhat delicate state, as the inner self gains supremacy and control, at least for those who are searching for something more.

This is often considered a turning point as we truly begin to question who we are and relentlessly want answers.  Many turn to deeper more spiritual subjects such as Astrology and the mystical side of life, in order to further their pursuits as we hope to find some answers to some truly profound questions. 

This is an awakening stage as many who have been wrapped up in the material world and have come up empty, strive for a greater meaning in life.

Doors that have been boarded up previously now beginning to open and a deep restlessness is awakening within.  The search continues and those longing for answers begin to question their existence, opening the channels from within and making a more intimate contact with the inner self.  The process has begun as we raise our consciousness and continue on with our mission.

At age 42, we are also experiencing the Uranus opposition with itself.  This intensifies the search and often we reach for something new to bring to the forefront of life.  Some reach out radical solutions and this is when some people become bored with life and want something that is exciting and exhilarating.  We can also become a bit eccentric.  We want something more that what the confines that normal life offers.

These new life expressions can often show up on short notice.  We can make untimely changes that will affect us and those around us.  These changes can often be quite disruptive for family members that are used to life being steady and remaining solid and secure.  Some but certainly not everyone may leave our marriage partners and start a new life.  In many cases, the change is sudden and comes without much warning.  As this time approaches, be prepared for change and transformation as this is a very intense period.  Be ready for disruption to the norm and be prepared to welcome the new.

BE HERE NOW

It has been said that if we are living in the moment, time seems to slow down. Most of us are continually looking ahead or reminiscing about the past.  Humour me for just a couple of moments.  Still your mind, at least as much as you can.  Experience the moment completely and each thought that goes through your mind, especially the ones that keeps repeating themselves.  Did you experience thoughts of “this is stupid!”, or “you are wasting time", or  "Go do something.”?  This is just your ego.  Ignore it. 

Some find that this short five minutes seemed like an eternity.  When we pay attention to the moment, time seems to move much more slowly.

For those of us that have experienced an accident, for example, will recall how time seems to slow down during the event.  The accident feels to be in slow motion.  How many thoughts go through our minds when we are experiencing an accident?  The mind races in and out of potential outcomes.  During these events, it seems as though there is no shortage of time.  It feels as though we have plenty to time to react and we can utilize completely the few seconds that it takes for the event to occur.

This is the mind focusing on the moment.  We can intentionally do the same thing, with practice, to slow time down.

Time is a man-made illusion and we cannot slow down the actual motion between seconds, but we can focus on the moment completely.  No one can escape the passage of time, but we certainly can control our mind’s focus.  Our mind works just as our muscles do.  It takes repetition to build our abilities of mind control.  When our mind wonders, we gently remind it of the moment so that it can be refocus again.  The more we practice, the easier it gets.

Be here now.  Capture the moment to live in the now. 

We truly only have this very moment.  Why waste the now spending it to think of what has been or what may be.  A minute wasted is sixty seconds we will never have again.  Do not waste the miracle of life that we have.

MERCURY IN AQUARIUS

Mercury remained in retrograde until January 25, 2016 and now has turns direct.  Mercury is known as the planet of the mind and it defines our thinking process, our attention span and our ability to digest information and experience.  It has to do with how we communicate, exchange information and our ideas.

Mercury’s sign in our chart indicates what kind of information will stimulate our conceptual visualization.  It also shows what we tend to relate to in our immediate environment.  When Mercury is in Capricorn, we may find that there is time spent digesting ideas and information about our career or what we might want to do with our education.  This may relate directly to the working environment and we may find that our mind is occupied by thoughts about work.  This may have been particularly strong during Mercury’s retrograde cycle.  During that time, it would have been wise to digest information rather than act.  Our reactions to these thoughts and the way in which we process this information will be written in our birth chart, by the aspects to Mercury and its placement by house and sign.

When Mercury shifts into the sign of Aquarius in mid February, you may note that your concerns and intents tend to turn to more humanitarian concerns.  This will be particularly so if your Mercury happens to be in the sign of Aquarius or if transiting Mercury is somehow connected to Uranus, or located in the eleventh house in your chart.  Your thoughts may shift to relationships with groups of people and this would be very beneficial if these individuals are of like mind.  You may want to share your ideologies and find common ground on information that leans toward the occult, scientific information, computers and technology.  You may also find that your interest in Astrology increases, and you may want to find out more on the subject.

If Mercury transits to make contact with a planet in your birth chart or in the progressed chart, Mercury’s energies reflect the energies of any planet it contacts, just as a chameleon.  Mercury’s energy is stimulated by the contacting planet.  For example if the planet is Neptune, your idealism runs strong and mystical insight would be enhanced.  You will want to unearth the mysteries of life if it is well aspected.  If in a challenging aspect, you may have difficulties resolving problems or you may try to avoid the truth of some matter that you actually need to be uncover.

When Mercury is in Aquarius, you may have a stronger desire to stir up others and help them to move out of life conditions that have gone stagnant.  Aquarius wants to help others review their lives and to assist them in making changes that will help to foster growth on some level.  You may have an intellectual plan that ultimately will help them or help yourself move through conditions that no longer serve a significant purpose to the evolutionary process.

You may find that you are more intuitive especially if Mercury is somehow linked to Neptune, Uranus or Pluto, although each of these planets acts in different ways.  Pluto, for example, will make you dig deep within and search for answers sometimes causing psychological reflections over the matters that come to the surface.  To understand the influence of Mercury, you will have to dissect its natal potential.

LENDING A HELPING HAND

What does it cost to assists someone in need? 

How often have friends, family or associates given us assistance when we were in a bad way or needed their help, if even just a shoulder?  A few gentle words or a few minutes of your time can help lift someone.   An ear is a wonderful dose of positive medicine.  Often this is all that is needed and not difficult to do.

Sometimes the simple act of expressing your concern gives sufficient support to help those in need move toward to heal.  Nothing more is required.

That elderly lady coming out of the grocery store, imagine what it would mean to her to assist her with her cart to her vehicle.  It costs us nothing more than a couple of seconds of our time but to her it could spark a great feeling within and a feeling that someone cares.

That car flashing their lights at you to pull over into the right lane; did you every question what their urgency may be?  It may have been impatience but it also could have been they were trying to get to someone laying in a hospital bed breathing their last breathe.  What is the cost to us to pull over in the right lane to allow them passage? 

We never know the circumstances of other people’s lives.  Being kind and helping where help can be offered will certainly not worsen their lives.  Lending a helping hand under any condition acknowledges and honours them as a living breathing person.  We will never know how great of an impact our actions may have. 

If we were in their shoes, what would we appreciate under those circumstances?

MOTION AHEAD

Is it time to re-establish your momentum? 

Is it time to abandon thoughts that no longer serve a real purpose? 

Are you trapped in a philosophy that amplifies and focuses on discord which stifles your growth and progress and leaves you heavy hearted? 

We have the ability to step out of these conditions and to experience happiness and peace.  We deserve every ounce of happiness that we allow ourselves to experience, without limits.  By releasing any form of belief structure that holds us back, we are allowing happiness.  This is a time to recognize that we are the architects of our own destiny.

We can let go of anything that holds us back.  We can let go of any thought that cultivates sadness and shame.  We can let go of any thought that suggests that we will not succeed. 

We truly hold the key to our destiny.  If we are not on the path that we would like to see ourselves on, we can change our focus and change our journey.  

Accept the possibility that we deserve happiness.  Happiness is part of our journey.  It is not the destination.

We are perfect in every aspect for perfection is found within each and every one of us.  We are only held back by our perceptions and beliefs.  It is within our power to move in any direction, to take life and to mold it into whatever we want.  Simply believe...with your heart and your mind.  Live as thought our desires are already in place.

Start small to build your confidence.  Begin with something that you believe “might” be attainable, then set your sights on it and make it happen.  Now change your attitude from “might” to “undoubtedly”.  Over time and by applying this focus and these values, we will observe that shift and understand the truth that we are in control of manifesting within our life.  We will experience turning points and we will also have to fight past doubt.  By making the decision that we will only focus on positive affirmations and positive focus, we will create a positive outcome.  This does not mean that life will not present challenges, but if our focus is on the positive, we will see these challenges as building blocks not stumbling blocks. 

We are at the creation of our focus every step of the way.  Remind yourself that your focus is within your control.  Place your focus and evaluate your progress, not from where you have been, but from what potentially lies ahead.

FULL MOON IN LEO

The Full Moon will be in Leo at 3 degrees and 29 minutes on January 23, 2016 in our local area (Ontario) at 8:46 p.m.  The time and even the day of the Full Moon will vary depending on where you are located in the world.

During this Leo full moon, we will harvest the fruits of our labour that we planted in July, 2015 under the Leo New Moon at 18 degrees Leo.  At that time, we would have experienced a time when we could have stepped forward in new and uniquely creative ways.  This would have been a time when we could have set in motion something that we would have called our own, something that we could have engraved our own personal stamp on and owned.  As mentioned, this could have been on a creative project where we would have held a leadership role.  Self-promotion would have had a part of the process.  We could have taken some risks and it would not have been promised that we would have been successful, but this drive would have pushed us in the direction we wanted to go.

This could also reflect a personal relationship or a business partnership, although moving forward alone in business would have undoubtedly been the best chance for success.  If you decided on moving into a new relationship at this time, there may have been drama attached to it in some way.  Nothing slips by Leo without some sort of personal drama showing its face.

The results of your past actions are now available for harvest.  All of our hard work may now be paying off.  If we did not pursue the idea or relationship with vigor, the harvest will be less bountiful.  If our seeds were planted in connection with a personal relationship, we may now be experiencing a new level of commitment, or a finishing off of the relationship, depending on other aspects we have to Leo at 3 degrees in our Astrology chart.

Take a look at your own personal chart and decipher what it promises.  The natal chart always holds the energies.  The transits and progressions set the stage for what is taking place now. 

Continue to organize, make plans and to set things in motion.  There are always times that we have to make adjustments to all ventures in life.  We may have to have a clear plan as Neptune’s energies may still have influence over us, but we should follow our heart.  Our gut instincts may now pay off.  If we were diligent when we set things in motion earlier during the New Moon cycle, we can now reap the rewards of our labour.

Children and young people may also play a part in the process.  This is a time of play.  Enjoyment is enhanced for many and especially thrills seekers.  This now is a time of fun and entertainment, but we need to ensure that we keep the reigns in hand and be in control.  We should continue setting things in motion and if we do, we can be the energy behind the “roar”.  Enjoy the festivities as this is certainly part of the process.  This is a time for self-expression and play.  Enjoy the thrill of the moment.

MIXED FEELINGS

Are you unsure of where you stand on certain commitments that you have made to yourself or in life? 

Are you unsure of the direction life is taking you? 

Do you feel lost yet determined to set things right? 

It can be very challenging to stand firm under the pressures of life at times and your commitment to staying on course can sway during these disturbances.  Do not be dismayed if you find yourself off course every now and again.  You are allowed to teeter here and there and veer off your “anticipated” path.  Actually every step you take is always on path.

Some commitments are made under duress, some even under circumstance long since changed.  Some commitments just cannot be upheld. 

This does not make us a failure.  Some portions of the journey can be tough.  We are human and we will revert back to old ways or look back to old conditions.  As long as we catch ourselves and refocus, we can continue forward.  Many times in life, until we learn a specific lesson, the issue keeps resurfacing until the lesson has been learned.  Shoving an issue or hurdle under the carpet in the long run is not the easy solution.  Face life’s issues head on.  Deal with them immediate.  Only then can we put them behind us and continue our journey forward

If we are unsure of our life’s direction, we can spend time in silence, away from the hustle and bustle.  We may not always have a great “ahha” moment but we will receive clarity as to which way to turn.  Take baby steps forward.  We do not need to have the full path mapped out in front of us.  The course may already be set but it is each step that is the actual life experience not the final destination.  We have lessons to learn and will experience life through different channels but these lessons will be met regardless of what course we take.  The lessons are necessary for growth and they can be taught on many different levels of understanding.

As mentioned, we are never truly off track and although there will be times of utter confusion and deep feelings of being lost.  Life will shift and we will understand the reasons for these feelings.  Down the road a little further, one day, we may even understand the “why” behind certain events that at the time left us befuddled.  We are on an adventure with many twists and turns on the path, yet every experience regardless of the challenges involved or the ease of flow we experience takes us precisely where we are meant to be.  Have faith in the process and understand that we are always being guided.

Eventually, we will see our course even though today we feel lost.  We will again regain our momentum even though today we feel stuck.  We are never alone in our journey although we take each step ourselves. 

Stay true to your convictions and accept what life offers regardless of what that may be.  We are on our way and nothing will stop us from achieving our required goals even if we do not understand what they are today.  Peace accompanies us every step of the way.  Are we allowing ourselves to experience that peace?

SUN IN AQUARIUS

The Sun moves into the sign of Aquarius on the 21^st of January, 2016. 

The sign Aquarius is the natural ruler of the eleventh house.  The eleventh house deals with groups, inner goals and hopes and wishes.  The sign of Aquarius has to do with imparting knowledge often of a futuristic nature to the masses.  Although many will not be assigned to teach and communicate their innate knowledge to the masses, most Aquarians will most certainly have a skill at communicating ideas that are often considered unique, even eccentric, to those individuals that care to listen.

Aquarians would do well imparting their knowledge to or in groups of people who are of like mind and not only willing to listen to their approach to life, but also share their ideas.  Aquarians march to the beat of a different drummer and are quite aware of their uniqueness.  Fortunately, they are not ashamed of this.  They enjoy intellectual conversations dealing with matters related to the occult, psychic awareness and astrology to name just a few areas.  Astrology is actually ruled by the sign of Aquarius and the ruling planet is Uranus.

Their unconventional approach to life is said to be ahead of its time and the knowledge that these individuals impart could be compared to awakening.  This is the purpose of their ruling planet Uranus.  Uranus’ energies are to awaken people to a new understanding and to built on humanities principles. 

Aquarian individuals are independent thinkers and freedom of expression is high on their list of priorities.  They can be quite fixed in their beliefs and although they are altruistic in their nature, they are quite willing to stir up a life that has gone stagnant in order to awaken to something new. Aquarians have progression on their mind and will push others into thinking in broader terms and assist others to be led by their own ideas and follow their own dreams rather than being led by mainstream thinking.

Many Aquarians have difficulty expressing their emotional side; some are viewed as being rather aloof and carefree.  They are quite content in being alone, although they do need people in their lives.  In general Aquarius individuals are quite well liked and have an understanding of the varying journeys that others take.  They are always eager to learn something new.  Many Aquarians do not do well with compromise, and fairness and kindness are hallmarks of this sign.  They are truth seekers and will take any road in order to find it, inviting others along for the ride.

Most Aquarians are friendly, outgoing and enjoy adventure.  There is a need for personal freedom and if they are chastised by others and not given their personal space, they can become moody and distant.  Freedom of action is a requirement. 

Aquarians make good friends and they will never cross you.  In general they are dependable although somewhat absent minded.  If you make plans with them, you had better make sure you remind them a day or two ahead as they are quite likely to forget. 

Aquarians are students of humanitarian principles and will treat everyone with respect and equality.  Their key phrase is “I know” and pouring out the waters of knowledge to the world is their symbol. 

Aquarians have plenty of love to give and are ready to give to the masses.  They truly want the world to be a better place and will do their part to make it this way.  Many actually have a shy side and some are insecure, although this is often a part of an Aquarian that is seldom revealed.  If they open up to you and express this quality, you can be sure they trust you and are open to suggestion.  In general, however, they are quite self-sufficient and self-reliant although they need company.  A solitary life is not appealing but time spent alone is still a requirement.

It is important to understand and remember that when deciphering a horoscope, the Sun Sign is only one part of the puzzle although an important part.  This is why some individuals do not feel as though their Sun sign suits them very well.

RESTORING PEACE IN OUR LIVES

Restoring peace in our lives after experiencing stressful and frustrating conditions can be challenging.  It is far too easy to let our guards down and to get caught up in circumstance and drama when we are tired or busy.  If we take care of our human vehicle and rest our mind, we are far more prepared for meeting the day to day challenges and to stay focused on the present moment.  It is just as important to allow life to happen.  Not every event in life will match our expectations or line up with our goals.  This is normal and easier to accept if we live in the moment.

Many that have been through trying lessons tend to experience and hold on to frustration even after the challenges have lifted, largely due to the fact that they are afraid to move forward into the unknown.  Our ways of the past are familiar and we function without effort in what we know well. 

Now that change has been presented, many live in fear.  Others welcome the change but fear that the past will come back to haunt them.  We can never truly know what the future holds.  Embrace the moment and the wonders and beauty that the moment holds.  The past is gone.  The future will never come.  What we do have, however, is all that is contained in this very moment.  This moment is filled with all that we need, for this moment.

We can spend the next hour, day, week...contemplating potential future events but as a result we are wasting or squandering this moment in time that will never return.  Let go in order to live....forget just existing.  Shed the skin of worry of that which has past or that which may or may not materialize in the future.  The past cannot be changed and the worries for the future are strictly imagination. 

With a focus on love, compassion and forgiveness (for our own mental and physical health) we cannot hold onto anger, hate or resentment.  Over time because of our concentrated efforts, we will attract even more love, compassion and forgiveness into your life if this is where we place our focus.  The more we attract, the more noticeable it will be.  It all stems from our focal point.

Seek peace within and allow it to spread and touch those that surround us.  Foster an awareness of the love contained in our world (not the hate).  What we look for, we will find.  If we look for and offer love, we will see it more and more in our world.  Why not allow our love and understanding to touch the lives of those that do not comprehend it?  Hate will never be dissolved by hate but love can be nurtured through love. 

If we radiate our love outward and stay convicted to peace and compassion, these blessings will eventually reach all those that surround us including those that appear to be lost and forsaken.  We are all connected.  Invest in yourself through love offered to those who most need it.

THE HERE AND NOW

Finding your path is not tied to yesterday.  In order to enjoy our journey and utilize each step to its utmost we must be in the moment, with all thoughts of yesterday left behind us.  This present moment holds with it all that is required.  We cannot dwell in past events, regardless of how significant they may appear or feel.  These memories are simply fragments of a time gone by.

Many become caught up in life’s memories because of the false feelings of safety they provide.  That which is familiar somehow feels safe.  However, living in the past brings sadness and yearning, even despair for some.  Letting go can be difficult but necessary to continue on our path.  We change and grow through each and every moment.  We no longer are who we were yesterday or the day before.  Living there no longer fulfills our needs.  Who we were then no longer holds relevance to who we are now.

What once was, no longer is and we are building our future by how we live our lives this moment.  Our concentrated energies are completely tied to this moment (not yesterday or tomorrow).  All that we have or ever will have is contained in this very moment.  Nothing but this moment is guaranteed.  Tomorrow never comes.  Tomorrow can be planned for but can only be realized through the experience of this moment. 

Holding on to the past blinds us from our present moment and living for the future steals the value of now.

Release what used to be.  Embrace all that is.....right now.  We are constantly moving forward yet the moment is perpetual.  Be here now.  Let all that lived in the past remain there.  Have faith that the future will be as it should.  All that we truly have and can experience is in the now.

SATURN'S IMPACT AFTER ITS CONJUNCTION WITH THE ASCENDANT

We have previously discussed the effects of Saturn in challenging aspect to the ascendant.  What are the effects of Saturn’s influence after these challenging aspects? 

If you have planets within 5-8 degree conjunct the Ascendant, these plants would be in the first house.  You would experience feelings of release after the conjunction with Saturn.  The tensions created by Saturn will have lifted and its testing will begin to subside.  This may feel as though a great weight is being lifted off your shoulders--the pressure is easing off.

As Transiting Saturn tends to restrict and delay things, you may now be able to move forward with things that previously seemed to have been held up.  Things begin to move more easily and the flow of energy not only helps with life matters, but also you may feel more energetic as time passes.  Remember that Saturn’s most powerful influence is 2 degrees past direct, unlike other planets.  As a result, it may take as much as seven degree after it crosses your ascendant for you to finally feel its release and life begins to flow more smoothly again.

If life is still not moving freely, you will have to have a look at what might be further challenging life.  Do you have other planets making oppositions, squares or conjunctions to transiting Saturn?  If so the challenges may continue for a bit longer.  It is, however, important to understand that as mentioned in previous posts, these tests brought on by Saturn need to be addressed accordingly, as no steps can be skipped.  The changes that you made or the responsibility that you made will work out over the long run, as Saturn will reward hard work and disciplined efforts.

Saturn, although difficult to handle (tough love effects),does offer rewards for those individuals who are diligent enough to persevere through its testing periods and learn its lessons.  Saturn is the task maker but also a great teacher.  Hard work and discipline is its trademark but patience and structure are its benefits.  You have been building a foundation that will last for a long time which will be able to endure other hardships that will eventually come your way.  Your inner core will also be more resilient and will withstand life’s pressures on many more levels than it could before this astrological event.

Check to see what house Saturn is located in within the birth chart as this will be the area of life affected.  Also you should have a look at the aspects to both your Ascendant and your natal Saturn to understand on a deeper level what may have transpired and how the changes will have affected you on a personal level as well as those individuals that have shared this experience with you. 

It is never easy but the rewards are worth the pain.  You will now slowly begin to understand the process that has taken place and the lessons that were learned. 

The next challenging Saturn impact on the Ascendant will be in approximately 7 years.  The sextile and trine, both easy and influential aspects, will be on either side of this 7 year trend.

OUR VIBRATIONAL LEVEL

As we open ourselves up, we will become more aware of our souls’ or personal guides.  This all unfolds as it should.  We cannot hasten the process no matter how much we may wish to recognize the presence of these guides.  All events in life happen or unfold in their own time. 

We can feel the presence of our guides from time to time in different ways but whether we feel their presence or not they are always with us.  We will feel their presence in sublet ways and as we become familiar with these subtleties, we will recognize their continued presence more and more.  As we continually raise our vibrational level, we become closer to the vibrational levels of the spirit plain.  The gap continues to close as we continue our spiritual development.

Our quest is far from over, but the stage is set and we are on our way.  Many are moving along similar routes and we connect together.  Our development and growth is ours alone but we are never alone in our journey.

Have faith in the process and let go of control.  The process is out of our hands although our attitude and beliefs influence all.  Much is changing.  Eventually we will not be able to step back or deny what is.  Denying the truth is ultimately impossible and we will “discover” along our way…one foot in front of the other.

Take hold of your destiny.  Share it with those that are ready to understand.  Accept the process without restriction and the flow will accelerate.  We alone hold ourselves back.

TRANSITING JUPITER RETROGRADE

Transiting Jupiter went retrograde on January 8, 2016 and will remain retrograde until May 9, 2016.  It will be in the sign of Virgo and will move between 9-23 degrees.  If you have planets at these degrees and in particular planets in Virgo or linked by square, opposition, trine and sextile, you will be under the influence of this retrograde Jupiter.

The natal house position as well as the house that Jupiter is transiting will be the areas of life that will be being influenced in your chart.  The planets linked to this Jupiter transit will also have to be looked at and their nature and house placement will be part of the equation. 

There is the potential for dramatic change in these areas of life, but whoever is affected will have to put a lot of energy into making things happen.  Jupiter could be considered a lazy planet because of its positive attributes and the feelings linked to Jupiter are very easy going.  Although the energy is opportunistic, many affected will want to sit back and wait for something good to happen but effort may be required.  Sometimes we are able to just sit back and wait, although much depends on other transits to this position and the general condition of Jupiter in the natal chart as well as what is defined in the progressed chart.

Jupiter will offer a chance to truly get in touch with our inner personality and also our connection with spirituality and our own personal philosophy on life.  This is particularly true during this retrograde cycle.  This is a time for reflection on and integration of these philosophies into our lives.  We may reflect on life from a past prospective and desire to make changes to motivate us forward in a more progressive state.  We will, beyond a doubt, have to deal with ourselves up close and person.  We will have to take an honest approach and see things as they truly are.

As Jupiter makes aspects during this cycle, we can address these issues and make adjustments evoking a change in a positive manner.  This is a time of inner awareness and growth by activating desired conditions through a persistent effort.  Once again the area of life that may be subject to these desires for change is reflected in the houses under this influence in our own personal charts.  For example if the tenth house is part of the unfolding, you could work towards advancing your business or career.  If the seventh house is involved, you could set in motion the preparation for a wedding date or business venture with someone of great significance.

Jupiter in itself is very spiritual, altruistic and philosophic in its overall nature.  It promotes positive action, reinforces our connection with spirituality and is at its strongest during this period (and especially when it is stationing retrograde or stationing direct).  This could last for a few days upon the retrograde cycle and when it is finishing its cycle.  Check your 2016 ephemeris for the exact dates. 

Remember we will have to push ourselves forward during these times for any action to take place.

The house positions involved and the general theme of the progressions will define the details of this overall time frame.  This is a good time to review your choices in life and perhaps decide to take on more schooling or make plans for travel.  Investments of different natures under the right conditions, as defined in the overall condition of our charts, can be utilized and brought to fruition during this cycle. 

Some of the actions that take place during this cycle are coming to completion because of actions taken prior to this retrograde time frame.  This will be a direct result of past efforts by us and our affiliates.

Take advantage of this transit (although Jupiter does go into retrograde half of your life time), but use it now in correlation with your birth chart, progressed chart and other transits.  Have fun and enjoy the fruits of your labour.  Bring about positive transformations in your life.
