YOURS TO DISCOVER
In life, we do not know what the road ahead will
uncover. We walk blindly down our road
of life, some with great intensions and others carrying the weight of the world. This road is ours to walk freely in whatever
direction we choose. The road ahead has
many twists and turns, many unexpected ups and downs and as our course slowly
unravels, we can learn the lessons that life offers.
There are some lessons that are very difficult to accept and
others that can only be described as pure bliss. Our reaction to these events creates our
course and pushes us ever forward. Often, life appears to direct us and push us blindly. We do experience life’s sometimes challenging conditions, yet we always have control over our reactions. We always have a choice on how we view our life, and these choices mold our reality. Belief structure is our “part” in this journey and our reactions to life’s experiences are in our hands.
Our life is always unfolding as it should. We need the lessons along the way to keep continually growing. Our life experiences are not by chance but the choice is ours do we grow from these events or do we choose to be a victim. We are the masters of our own reactions and we mold the future by our expectations. Follow your chosen path with arms open wide and experience it all, each and every moment.

AGES 34-38 IN ASTROLOGY
This Astrology post pertains to people who
are between 34-38 years of age. For
those of you that are over this age, you can reflect on just how this period
affected your life. For those that are
younger than this age, this post will help you to be prepared for the upcoming
period.
At roughly thirty-six, we all experience
the third Jupiter return (it takes approximately 12 years to complete a cycle)
as well as the third Saturn square to itself natally (in the birth chart). These returns inspire a growth spurt in our
lives. Whether this opportunity
encourages growth on a spiritual level or a material level, or both will be indicated
by the natal position of Jupiter in your personal Chart. A few examples could be material growth
(second house connotation) occupational growth (tenth house) or spiritual
growth (twelfth house) to name a few.
You are provided with opportunities to
review your life and the belief structures that you have developed. This is a period when you are able to improve
your life’s attitudes. In general you
will learn more about yourself and how you fit into the world around you. Often times there are transformations that
take place in your life’s path. These
transformations are in direct correlation with a maturing outlook that you have
been developing through the years.
There is a pronounced sense of freedom and
new beginnings taking place in your life that offer opportunities where you
feel you have vested rights and can now comfortably move into your future. You have a strong sense of self-confidence
and are beginning to understand that your life is in your hands. There is a revitalisation taking place where
you are now able to review your fundamental beliefs and move forward with more
confidence than before. There is a new
sense of direction and it comes from deep within your core. You are beginning to understand that the best
educator in your life’s journey dwells within.
During this same time frame, you also have
the Saturn transit affecting you. This
is a very organizational transit and it is vital as Jupiter’s energies are
ever-expanding and Saturn keeps things in prospective. Saturn requires you to set parameters and
boundaries on this new found freedom.
Saturn helps to unify and merge these new found optimistic attitudes and
self-knowledge. Saturn will offer some
restraint so that you have the opportunity to find your true potential without going
beyond your limits. The conflicts that
are often accompanied with these two opposing forces are arbitrated directly by
you. There is very little outside
influence. You are in control!

YOU ARE WHO YOU ARE
Amidst all the commotion of everyday life,
stay true to whom you are. Do not be
swayed by opinions or events. Stay
strong to your true identity. You are
who you are and as such, the potential within allows you to be the best person
you can possibly be. Stay committed to
your true self regardless of peer pressure and outside forces. Be yourself!
There is no one better for you to be than your own true self.
Do not let peer pressure define your
character. No one can force you to
change or take away any of your true characters without your consent. You are your purpose; you are your
destiny. It can take some individuals many
years to come to this realization and to accept it. Why wait?
Let your true self shine through now!
Worrying about what others think holds little significance. What other think of us is truly none of our
business. It is only their opinion and
opinions are not necessarily truths.
The road to self-awareness can be a bumpy
one, but it is not necessary. Let go of any
self-defeatist attitudes of self. Let go
of what “might” be and that which others want you to be. By living through someone else’s
expectations, you only serve to cage the true person you are. Be true to yourself and be who you are meant
to be. Identify with those character
traits that make you feel whole and do not fear ridicule from others.
You have come into this life for self-discovery
--to unravel your true identity and in attaining this you gently move into who
you are meant to be. Find yourself
through positive feedback which is generated from within your psyche. Identify only with what makes you happy and
content. The true self is these
characteristics. Holding on to any
negativity, whether it be someone else’s opinion or your own opinion, only
serves to hold back your progress and your understanding of who you truly are.

THE ELEVENTH HOUSE IN ASTROLOGY
The eleventh house deals primarily with
group endeavours, clubs and organizations that you would like to be or is
affiliated with. Within these groups,
you seek to find fulfillment and often as a group you define your ideals and
ambitions. This is the house where we define
our goals. These are often inner goals
and through the discovery of these aspirations, you can uncover your
contribution to the world.
How we uncover these involvement is to look
at the sign ruling this house cusp and the planets found within the house. The relative ease or difficulty in reaching
these aspirations is influenced by the planets within the eleventh house and
the aspects formed through contacts with other planets.
The eleventh house is also the house of
friendships. The ruler of your eleventh
house together with any planets found within this house will define the type of
individuals that we associate with. Friends and acquaintances are often found
within a group consciousness and the gatherings of like-minded
individuals. Planetary links and aspects
to these planets will define the degree of difficulty to maintain these
friendships and/or the relative ease in forming them.
The fifth house is the opposite house to
the eleventh house and often defines the love that we give out into the
world. The eleventh house has to do with
the love received, usually through friendship and group acquaintances. If the eleventh house ruler is under
developmental tension, defined by the sign’s ruler and aspects to this ruling
planet, there are often difficulties when it comes to a balance between love
given and love received. Often the
individual feels as though they are doing all the giving and not enough is
returned.
In summation, if for example you have
Scorpio ruling the eleventh house, then the ruling planets would be Pluto and
Mars. This would suggest that the
organizations that you would want to be involved in would probably have
metaphysical undertones and this could be a driving force within the structure
of these groups. Much of your maturation
developed through interchanges within these groups would lead to
transformations that at some point in life would cause you to re-evaluate who you
are, and what you could do to change the world around you.

CONCEPTUALIZING GOD
If we were to define our concept of God, we
would have to define who and/or what God is to us.
Are we not all one with God? As pure energy, are we not all the same? As energy there is no difference between a
tree or a mountain goat.
God encapsulates everything, including the
food you eat, the pets we love and the mountain side that amazes our
senses. God is all around us and is the pure
essence of life. This universe and far
beyond are part of God, the oceans are part of the vast whole, the sky, each
drop of rain, each grain of sand are all a part of this vast whole. Those things that you cannot put our hands on such
as our thoughts encompass this oneness that is.
Our pure essence or God lives in all energy....in everything that
exists.
Breathe in a breath of fresh air and you
take in this pure essence. God gives you
life. God dwells internally and
radiating externally in all that is. More
majestic than the awe inspiring experience of standing at night and staring
into the night sky seeing for distances beyond our comprehension or standing at
the edge of a vast seemingly endless ocean view, this pure essence is simply
love. God is love and all things affiliated
with love --compassion, gentleness, tranquility, harmony, peace, kindness.
Encompass God. Radiate love, as love is the key to unlocking
all things that bring true happiness.
The only way for us to find Love which is God in its/his/her purest form
is to be love itself. You cannot “find”
love outside of self. No one can show
you the way. You have to experience it from
within. Once you have learned to love
yourself, only then can love radiates externally into your world. Share your love with all of life. This will bring peace to your world. It begins with you!

GENERATING LOVE
One of our greatest attributes is to “be”
peace and find ourselves through reflecting inwardly. We are all in search for love and happiness
and it is our right to experience these emotional expressions. Each and every one of us is deserving of these
attributes. Life is always offering us
these rights but all too often we feel unworthy or simply do not recognize that
which is in front of us. Accepting love
and maintaining this acceptance seems to be a continual pursuit. Some feel love comes only in small segments and
then leaves them with mere memories remaining.
At times it is the act of searching that
holds us back, because we are so busy trying to find the love that fits our
personal definition that we have our eyes closed to the ever-present love that envelopes
us. We create our own definition of what
love should be. We look to others for
this expression and compare ourselves to those around us which only serves to
emphasize that which we feel we are missing within our identity and in our
lives.
We must come to an understanding that in
order to experience love we have to be love.
Love is not something that is found externally. We must learn to love ourselves for all of
our goodness and even our shortcomings.
Love can radiate if we allow it.
We are the ones that generate the love we are in search of.
Accept yourself for who you are. Love yourself first and foremost but not is a
selfish way that is destructive towards other.
This is simply ego and the struggle for power. Love is giving and caring. Love is accepting. Allow this love to flow. True love cannot be contained. Once you learn to love yourself, this love
with spill over into your outer world.
It with overflow to touch each individual you come in contact with. Your inner love will grow to fill your
world. What you put out in life is
always returned. Open that door! You hold the key and the initiator to
fulfilling this loving is you.

GEMINI - ASTROLOGY
The Sun has now moved into the sign of
Gemini.. Those born with
their Sun in Gemini, the Ascendant Gemini or a strong emphasis of planetary
ties to the third house (ruled by Gemini) will identify with many of these
character traits you are about to read.
The Sun is the most powerful influence of
our Birth charts and is symbolic of the collective life force that is ever
present in each one of us. It represents
our consciousness and is closely identifiable with who we are. The characteristics reflective of the Sun
describe the inner identity.
With the Sun in the sign of Gemini, a
mutable air sign, those under this solar placement come from a place where
thinking is the most important life force of their character. They are extremely curious individuals who
intellectualize everything, often flitting from one thing to another. They are on a constant search, collecting
data, internalizing feedback, and storing some of this information to enlarge
their ever expanding knowledge reservoir.
They like to be on the move, to keep busy and
share their day with those around them.
Communication is the key and if they are not sharing life with others
verbally, they will do so using modern technology, never missing a beat. Some of these individuals simply skim along
the surface, but much depends on the sign in which Mercury is located in their
Natal charts. Other individuals under
this sign will go deep into all subjects, again depending on the placement of
their Mercury. Those that skim along the
surface, often have a tendency of leaving things unfinished which creates a
need to go back and complete the tasks of the day, although they have to deem
it important enough to do so.
These individuals have a love of variety
and need constant stimulation to be happy.
They easily become bored with routine and enjoy most things that life
offers. Reading, writing and learning
are prime objectives and furthering their knowledge on a wide variety of topics
keeps them satisfied. They are in
pursuit of intellectual stimulation.
These individuals are considered friendly,
cleaver and witty people. They truly
like most individuals and most people like them. They make great teachers, are quite able when
it comes to writing and communication of their ideas, love to share and display
their intellect and make interesting and exciting companions.

THE DAWN OF AWAKENING
Is this life a manifestation of a dream? Are we awake and conscious?
I have heard it questions if life could be
a dream. Is it possible to be caught up
in a dream and not realize it? Where do
we go when we are in the dream state? Is
that place reality or is this place reality?
It is undoubtedly safe to say that both worlds are reality for the individual
experiencing them. At the very least,
our dream state is as real as our awaken state as a learning tool.
Anything is possible. All we know with certainty is that our
conscious state is what we refer to as reality.
If we can alter our life’s course through mental processing and expectations
and even forecast futures, what is really going on? What is the big picture and how much of it do
we actually see or comprehend?
Many of us are aware that there is much
going on beneath the surface and that there are other energies about us
existing in a different state than we are.
It is impossible for us to define as we are only aware of our limited human
concepts. Many speak of spirits or
ghosts that live among us........far too many for us to ignore the concept. There must be some truth in what all these
people are experiencing.
Most of us will experience instances that
cannot be explained and some experience visions and dreams that warn them of
potential dangers. In dreams some of us
have visits from our deceased relatives and sometimes they provide us with
insight into coming events or assist us in our quest for understanding.
Many who practice regular meditation have
mystical experiences that are not easily defined by “rational” thinking. Sometimes, things just cannot be
explained. If you were to practice
meditate over a long period, you would experience events that might be
difficult to understand, but if you look deep for the answers, you can decipher
the meanings.
There is more to life than meets the
eye. Our earthly concepts are
limiting. Allow this awakening to unfold
in your life simply by believing and accepting that the potential is
there.
Allow your higher consciousness to emerge
and awaken your latent talents. Our
conscious awakening is forever moving forward.
Our world is awakening to the higher energies that truly exist. Believe!

MERCURY THE PLANET OF THE MIND - ASTROLOGY
As we are about to enter the sign of
Gemini, we thought it only appropriate to discuss its ruling Planet,
Mercury. Mercury is the closest planet
in orbit to the Sun and is never more than 28 degrees away from the Sun. As these planets are in close proximity to
one another, many individuals are born with these two planets in conjunction. A conjunction is defined as two planets being
within 8-10 degrees of one another.
There is also an aspect called the Cazimi (17 minutes separation or
less) and when this occurs between Mercury and the Sun, the energies of both
planets are greatly intensified.
Mercury is the planet of the mind. It rules our intellectual abilities and the
enhancement of the thought process.
Since Mercury brings delineation to whatever it touches in the Horoscope
and greatly affects the thinking process, the sign that Mercury is in at the
time of birth, the aspects being made to other planets with Mercury and the
positions in the Natal chart defines how the mind operates.
Mercury in the Birth chart determines how
we make sense of our lives and the world around us. It controls our speech patterns and the way
we communicate on a day-to-day basis. It
is our mental statement to the world and the sense of humor we display. It also rules quickness of thought. There is a huge difference between someone
with Mercury in Aries (which could be defined as quick responsive thinking) and
someone with Mercury in Capricorn (which would be described as slow methodical
thinking).
Some are born with Mercury in retrograde
motion (Mercury appearing to move backwards in the sky) and when Mercury goes
retrograde through transit and touches off the retrograde Mercury in the Natal
chart, the mind may slow down and may even become confused depending on the
relationship to other planetary forces within the individual’s horoscope. This is usually a time when these individuals
should be careful and perhaps even put off the signing of important documents.
Mercury retrograde at birth is often characterized
as an introverted mind when the individual thinks things through relentlessly
before making up their mind.
Communication is the key phrase when relating to the planet Mercury and
when we discuss the Sun moving into Gemini, which will be our next Astrology
post, you will see how the mind has a great influence over this Sun sign. Mercury is the ruling Planet of Gemini.

A MOMENT IN TIME
Life is but a moment in time. At times the experience is
ownship of Essahem,
h th mental illness.strong and vibrant and at other times, dull and
mundane. In the overall picture, life is
brief. Staying focused and present in
the moment helps to make the experience seem more prolongs. Certainly by living in the moment, you will
not live longer but you will be more aware and experience life to its fullest.
Many individuals focus their attention on probabilities and
what the future MIGHT bring. Many others
focus their attention on the past. They
dwell on memories and lose the beauty of now.
The past does not have to refer to years ago. The past could be just yesterday.
We need to focus on the present--the moment and our
objectives within that moment.
The passage of time slows when we focus on the now--when we
live in the moment with no regard to the possible future or the past. The past cannot be changed and the future is
not here. Live life for the current
moment whether it be a wonderful experience or a difficult lesson. Process what needs to be and then move
on. Embrace the moments of enlightenment
and let go of the moments of anguish, but live them and grasp each concept.
Let go of the hurt, the disappointment and the failure. Accept that life is full of lessons and the
most difficult lessons are the ones that teach us, that motivate us, that
strengthen us. Hard lessons are just that--hard
lessons. They are necessary and promote
growth.
When you encounter a difficult lesson, go deep into the
situation, do not leave any stone unturned, then move on. Each day holds promise. BELIEVE.
Have faith that you are moving forward just as you should. There are no exceptions. Life is the ever present now!

SECURING LIFE'S FOUNDATION
In the process of building your “foundation”,
make sure that you have solid footings in place. A solid foundation is essential to withstand
life’s sometimes turbulent conditions.
Not only are you building this foundation
to preserve your essence but to build further with peace and love. These ingredients foster rewards that far
outweigh any foundation built on material security. Love will endure any condition that the world
can throw your way and withstand any adversity.
Love holds the only true value in life.
All of life’s tranquil conditions stem from this source.
You exist to be the conduit for the electrical
current that transmits love. You can
generate love simply by being love.
There is no stronger force in our world than love. Love is pure essence and can be directly
linked with all happiness. This is our
purpose--plain and simple. We are the
agents of love. It begins with you. You are the base and this essence resonates
with you always. Open your heart and
always believe.

SATURN TRANSITS MIDHEAVEN IN ASTROLOGY
Since Saturn is known as the taskmaster, it
defies anything new and looks for structure in life, we thought we would look
at the significance of a conjunction of Saturn to the Midheaven. This is not a “currently” mass aspect. Please review your chart to see when Saturn
is conjunction the Midheaven in your specific Chart.
The Midheaven, along with the Ascendant, is
the most significant positions in the Horoscope. They generally indicate, when transiting planets
cross these points, times of revelation and times of viewing one’s life from a
perspective that fosters us to begin anew or to strengthen what is already in
place.
With the influences of Saturn, the planet
of sure-footed structure, those with this aspect may find that they are
abruptly faced with new duties or they must become accountable especially
within the working environment. During
this influence, there is a need for some fine-tuning of the framework they have
been laying over the past 14 years or so.
Saturn takes approximately 28 years to complete its cycle around the Zodiac
and as a result, Saturn would have been in opposition to the Midheaven14 years
ago. This is usually a time when these
individuals are paying close attention to what they have been doing with your
life and may now begin a new chapter that will reach its culmination when
Saturn conjuncts the Midheaven.
The older the age of those experiencing these
junction points in life, the more relevant the issues pertaining to their
occupation, their standing in the community and their status. They will now view their actions that were
put in place some 14 years ago and watch as they come to fruition. If they have carefully built a solid
foundation in these areas of life and prepared for their future, they may feel
very ambitious and receive rewards for all of their hard work and
planning. If they have taken short-cuts
in order to prepare for this period in life, (they tried to avoid their
responsibilities), they may now have to come to terms with these shortfalls and
may have to alter the course of these actions.
The odds are that things are not working out as planned, and they will
have to assess the damage and rebuild making repairs and making necessary
changes to help alleviate some of these issues.
When Saturn crosses the Midheaven, it is
usually very apparent as this is the climatic point and although it may happen
rather suddenly, each of us when this occurs will feel Saturn’s effect for a
few degrees before it makes actual contact with the MC. Because Saturn delays all matters and often
leads to contemplation, its strongest effects are felt 1 to 2 degrees past the
actual Midheaven point.
You must face these results of what it is
you have been trying to achieve over the past several years head on. There is no getting away from what has been
done thus far and you will either prosper from your previous actions or pay the
piper and rebuild so you can create a more solid foundation down the road.

IF IT’S NOT YOURS DON’T OWN IT
It can be very difficult when a close
friend is experiencing a difficult experience.
We all have our moments. It is
always reassuring knowing that there are those individuals that are always there
to lend a hand when we are in need.
Life at times can seem unfair and it is
easy to allow ourselves to be swept away by circumstances that enter our
lives. There are times when answers seem
to be unavailable and relief seems very distant.
If you are assisting someone emotionally
through some life altering experiences, remember not to allow yourself to get
caught up in their emotions. You cannot
be of aid when you take on the emotion of their situation and make it your
own.
There are those that are so psychically involved
that they make other people’s issues their own, often without knowing it. They experience depression but do not
understanding why. You can reach out to
offer your help, your emotional support and to provide an ear for venting, but
do not get caught up in other’s problems and take on the emotional attachment.
Allowing others to unload is probably the
greatest assistance you can offer. Often
when we are experiencing stressful situations in life expressing their
frustrations is an important release. It
is often difficult to open up and be honest when faced with such situations.
A true friend will neither judge nor take
sides. Regrettably, it is their road to
walk and although we feel great compassion and honestly wish to help, change
and decisions are theirs to make. Some people
get so caught up in the moment that they truly are not looking for help or
advice. They are just looking for a
means of releasing and unwinding.
Be their friend in need, but do not harbour
their anxiety. Love them by showing them
you care, but leave the emotion behind when you have done your part.

The Tenth House in Astrology
Today we will take a look at Astrology’s tenth
house.
There are four houses known as the Cardinal
Points which are the first, fourth, seventh and tenth houses. These four energy channels are considered
action points in the Horoscope. The
first house cusp or the Ascendant and the tenth house cusp (Midheaven also
known as the MC) are the two most active areas in a Natal chart.
When Transiting Planets (the location of
the planets today) cross these areas of life (as all houses define areas of
life) events take place. Much of what
takes place depends on the planet crossing this area and the energy it
represents. Every house cusp defines a
particular area of life and these areas of life are enhanced when Transiting
Planet’s or Progressed Planet’s energy enters each house (crosses over the cusp). The Tenth and First house cusps far outweigh
the other remaining ten areas of life which are represented by each house cusp. We usually experience a shift as the Outer
Planets cross this threshold.
The Tenth House cusp or the MC describes
your occupation. The ruling sign often
is suggestive of the type of work you should be doing in your life, not
necessarily what you are doing with your life.
When doing an occupational profile this area of the Chart is the first
place an Astrologer would look to define what we should be doing. I should, however, pointed out that the
Moon’s Nodes are also very depictive of what we should be doing with our lives.
The Tenth House deals directly with your worldly
ambitions and your outer goals. It often
portrays the ego and some of its characteristics, although the Ascendant Sign
is even more descriptive of this. When a
planet in transit crosses this energy point, quite often there are changes to
our occupation and our status in life.
As the fourth house cusp is always directly in opposition to the MC,
when a planet crosses the tenth house cusp, it is also in Opposition to the
Fourth House Cusp. During these
transformational transition periods, the home and family will also be affected
by what is taking place within the occupation.
The sign ruling the tenth house cusp (especially
if it is a Cardinal Sign) can depict public recognition, (especially if it is
in a Cardinal Point which is between 29 degrees of the Mutable Sign before the
Cardinal Sign or 0 to 1 degree of the Cardinal Sign). An example of this would be having a
Midheaven sign of 29 degrees Virgo on the MC or 0-1degree Libra on the MC.
Natal Planets in this house and aspects to
these planets can provide the Astrologer with input into how the energy of this
house will be relayed to the outside world.
It also indicates if the individual will have an easy time in work
related ways and in his status in life or whether it will be challenging. Quite often a Gemini or Pisces MC suggests
two completely different occupations during the course of the individual’s
life. It is important, however, to
understand the concept of “success”, for success does not always pertain to material
worldly success.
In most cases, we must have Natal Aspects
that closely mirror events in the Transiting Planetary Energy for something of
significance to happen, but in many cases, even when there are no Natal links
to Transiting Planets crossing over the MC or the Ascendant, “things” may still
happen. As suggested earlier, these two
areas are action areas of a Chart and are very significant when deciphering
potential life issues when Transits or Progressions pass over these very
important areas of our Charts.

EMOTIONAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL ISSUES
If you have been diagnosed with depression
or any other psychological condition, regardless of its medical label, it is
important to understand that this is an earthly, body condition. This condition is not a reflection of you as
an individual on a personal level. This
body which includes our brains, glands, transmitters are strictly a vehicle at
our disposal. There should be no burden
of blame due to bodily ailment. Should someone
with genetic heart disease or Type I diabetes carry responsibility for their
physical ailment? .........of course
not.
These are diseases with symptoms that
usually can be lessened and/or controlled with healthy life styles and
medication. Modern medicine has many treatments
available to control or at the very least lesson the symptoms of most
conditions. We must appreciate the
progress that modern science has made. The
help may not be perfect but it is certainly beneficial.
Some individuals after accepting treatment
experience positive results but once they feel more in control, there is often
the urge to stop treatment. It is
important to realize that the treatment is lessening the symptoms. If you discontinue treatment without working
with your professional’s and adhering to their advice, the symptoms usually return. We must leave diagnosis to the professionals
and work with them to utilize the best possible treatments available for us...each
as a unique individual!
Society has to view mental illness, in its
many forms, simply as a physical body condition. It is not a choice and is no one’s
fault. We must lose the astigmatisms so
often associated with mental illness.
We are all equals. We all have disorders is some shape or form that
affect our lives at one point or another.
We each have to find our own way clear to deal with what we are
confronted with. Most of us will
experience some form of depression during our lifetime and will find ways to deal
with it. The important thing to realize
is that most conditions can be controlled either through medication or through the
mind’s focus. Positive reinforcement must
always be our focus. Each and every fragment
of thought control and mind manipulation can assist us. We are not at the mercy of life.
If your body (mind included) needs medical
attention and if using treatments and medications help to balance the body and
mind, be thankful that modern science and practices offer help to alleviate
these conditions in life.
Stay strong and know that one you can experience
healing and peace. Practice meditation
and do not allow negativity to control your life. There are always options. Know that you are not alone. Others care and love you. Love is the greatest healer.

COLLECTIVE CONSCIOUSNESS
Together as a group we walk the road of
life. We have entered this consciousness
to expand our inner growth through life’s experience. Life is the teacher and we are the
students. Our ongoing push for truth is
paramount in reaching our objectives in life.
Although we share this common purpose, we are also quite individualistic.
We are individualistic in our approach but share
a common goal of love, enlightenment and an awakening to our pure essence. We are energy formed from our pure
essence. Picture a camp fire. Our pure essence if that fire but
individually we are the sparks that form the whole. We are one people who share this energy. Individually we slowly move forward with our
goals but as a group we can manifest much more easily manifest our dreams.
Goodwill and love is our driving force and
we are all in search of these abilities that simply reside within each one of
us. Compassion and its energy can and
does promote peace in an otherwise unruly world. There are many of us who are quite aware of
this pursuit and are consciously working to this end. There are countless others that are beginning
this journey and understand the obligation we have to our world.
It begins with you, as you are the centre
of your world. By radiating peace, you
facilitate the same in others. People
feel your peace and tranquil nature and gravitate towards this energy. It is human nature to want love and compassion. Everyone is on this pursuit on one level or
another. We are generally a peace-loving
people with a few exceptions who are completely ruled by the ego’s demand for
power.
You are the motivating force behind this
growing movement. You are an integral
part of this energy spreading throughout our globe. This energy force extends to all corners of
our world. Many are actively working
together as a unit promoting peace and love everywhere. You are love and you express this quality in
your own unique way, unfiltered and unified with purpose.
Abandon self-promotion and understand the
workings of the universe. Reach out to
your world and do what you are meant to do.
Live your life within the bounds of love and make this expression a part
of who you are. It is already alive and
well living eternally within the confounds of your being. Release it and discover your own happiness
through peace.

THE NINTH HOUSE IN ASTROLOGY
The ninth house in Astrology is the natural
ruler of the sign of Sagittarius and the Planet Jupiter. Sagittarius and Jupiter combined speak of
optimistic expansion through the use of the mind and through life’s experience. This house seeks to expand the scope of the
mind’s focus using whatever means appropriate in reaching this
understanding.......whatever that understanding may entail.
Higher education is one means to finding
answers, whether this is through actual academic schooling or through the
school of life. As learning can come
from many sources in the ninth house, long distance travel, foreign cultures
and travel through the mind are all areas that relate to this house. Many of life’s issues and deeper
understandings can be attained while visiting foreign countries and the people
one meets along this journey. One seeks
to discover more of our world through communication with people of different cultures
to gain an appreciation of our own life’s meaning.
This house provides learned through
gathering of information gained through experience. It is the house of philosophy and religious
interaction, and planets found in this house use their particular energies to
uncover philosophic meaning to an otherwise conventional world. Within the realms of the ninth house, the
higher meanings of life can be unearthed by wisdom gained through experience of
whatever satisfies this yearning for truth.
Dreams and visions also come into play in
this house as the mind’s focus shifts and works through channels that
consciousness only discovers when delving into these states. Problems can be resolved through these
avenues and then modified to fit into the proper channels of your life which
are understood on a conscious level.
The ninth house is where we uncover the
truth through whatever channel that provides us with answers. It is the study of religion in its highest
order and through philosophic understandings and truths that we slowly grasp
while travelling our life’s journey.

Enter Spring
As life is a symbolic journey and we are now
into the season of spring, it is significant to pay attention to the seasons in
terms of our life’s course. Life is a
mirror’s reflection and spring is a time of renewal and a time of new life
emerging. As the perennials once again
begin to sprout and emerge from beneath the surface, we can feel this energy in
our environment and can join forces in the awakening that is taking place
around us.
Life is sprouting and starting anew and our
quest for awareness draws ever stronger.
We all participate in this process whether we are aware of this
consciously or not. Why are you reading
this post? It is part of the process and
we are joined together as one uniting in our ongoing focus on the emerging of
self as an individual but also as part of our pure essence.
Spring is a beautiful season, as the grass
begins to awaken with its brilliant colour, as the trees buds and as plants
push forward with the intent to bloom.
As new life begins to unfold in the spring so do you, although this
process does not begin with the seasons but resonates with them.
Our journey is ongoing just as the journey
of each of the plants that are emerging from the ground. They lie dormant for the winter, as we lay
dormant before our awakening process or during times of holding onto negative
energy. Life pushes through the surface
with great vigor but has to fight its way from beneath the surface as we do
when attempting to recognize our evolutionary growth. Breaking through the surface is always the
most difficult and in maintaining our pursuit, we must remain relentless. We have to push forward regardless of
restraints and obstacles, just as the plant emerges through the pressures of
the earth’s weight and obstacles in the way to finally break the surface.
Eventually we emerge just as the new
sprouts of spring. These sprouts are
nurtured by the atmosphere, the sunshine and the rain shared by the clouds. We in turn are nurtured by our attitude, love
and life lessons. It is obvious that we
are all joined by our essence, something far beyond the mundane concerns of
everyday living. Those small obstacles
that get in our way from time to time emerge initially as giants that penetrate
our otherwise calm existence, yet when faced and dealt with dwindle in
significance and no longer are seen as overwhelming obstacle. The emerging plant deals with such adversity
when stones and broken branches block the sunlight and obstacles which it too
has to has to overcome. If we are
flexible, we can bend to get around any blockage in our growth.
Our life plays out as a mirror’s reflection. If we pay close attention to our immediate
surroundings and the environment we dwell in, we will realize that our exterior
world is simply a reflections of inner self.
Take hold of life. Defeat the
challenging obstacles that hinder progress and allow your true self to emerge
from beneath the surface and blossom into the beautiful flower you have always
meant to be.

SATURN/URANUS INCONJUNCT IN ASTROLOGY
Beginning in the third week of June and
then strongly emphasized in July and then weakening in August of 2014,
transiting Saturn and Uranus are making an inconjunct to one another at 15-17
degrees in Scorpio and Aries. If you
have, for example, your midheaven in 15-17 degrees Aries or Scorpio (in
particular these two signs but other signs at the same degrees will also be
under this influence), you will experience a need for adjustment and
potentially a change of direction.
The inconjunct or quincunx is an Astrological
aspect of transition and adaptation and usually signifies the requirement for alterations
and adjustments to life. The quincunx is
not considered an extreme condition, such as a square and an opposition. Some Astrologers link the quincunx to an added
agitation which sometimes surfaces as health concerns, although not extreme in
nature. These stresses indicated by
other influences in the Chart will surface and may turn into health concerns
due to the strain of the initial contacts.
Inconjuncts suggest that one should face
the situation accordingly and not to try to rid oneself by ignoring the issue. It is important to actually face the problem
and challenge its validity. Once faced,
you can make alterations which will help facilitate change necessary to
overcome the condition. It is like an
added anxiety to an already difficult situation that exists. These require an adjustment and the
inconjunct expedites this action.
If your Ascendant or Midheaven is 15-17
degrees and particularly in the signs of Aries or Scorpio during the time frame
as we first mentioned, your working environment, your aspirations, your goals
in life and many aspects that affect you personally such as marriage and
partnership will be activated and affected.
Your status in life may go through periods of change, and adjustments
will be required during this time period.
If your Ascendant or Midheaven is affected
during this time and natally (in the Birth chart) they are well aspected, these
changes may not be very disruptive and may even be welcomed. If these areas in your Natal chart are poorly
aspected, you may experience turbulent times and abrupt changes that you will
have to adjust too. It should, however,
be pointed out that aspect regardless of their nature always have a silver
lining. In most cases, the final
conclusion of these events offers a new beginning and a chance for a new start.

influence of these two dynamic planetary forces and their affects in your
personal Natal chart, contact us at holmastrology@gmail.com. Holm Astrology prepares Transit and Progression

FOLLOW YOUR HEART
How frequently do you question what it is
you are doing with your life? Do you
currently feel stagnated and not sure which way to turn? Does your heart say something and you mind
tell you something else? What are you
supposed to follow – your heart or your mind?
How can you be sure if you are making the right decisions?
It is a question of faith. Are you following your heart’s desire? Are you listening to your inner guiding voice
or are you using logic to come up with a resolution to you concerns? Sometimes logical and emotional responses are
miles apart. What exactly are you trying
to accomplish? Will your decision meet
all of your needs? Other people also
play into the decision making, but ultimately, you have to do what is best for
you.
Make sure that you are not surrendering to
a situation and giving up the fight as there is always fight left in you.
Make sure you are not intentionally hurting
others with your choice. How will others
be affected by what you do? Be honest
and know that you can never fool yourself.
What will the ramifications be from your actions and how will it affect
you down the road when you move beyond the current conditions in your life?
If you have given yourself the time to
fully and honestly contemplate your actions, you have to trust yourself that
you will uncover the answer. There are
times that the decisions will be tough ones and you may have to go through some
challenges initially, but you will overcome all obstacles in your life. Know this and stay strong to your conviction. Know that once your action has been
initiated, you will need to stay true to yourself and your decisions.
There are those that feel as though they
have come to a point in life where there is no longer hope. You have to remember that this is your
current view coming from a vantage point that knows nothing beyond what is has
experienced. You will persevere and
reach the other side of this situation.
Do not give up. The answer lies
at the next juncture.
There is a life plan for you and you serve
a unique purpose. You WILL uncover your
path. You just need a little push to get
beyond that barrier and you are the only one that can do this. Meditate to receive assistance in your
decisions. The response may not be a miraculous
answer (although who is to say it cannot be) but without doubt, you will
receive guidance that will help you to keep putting one foot in front of the
other. Never give up! Know that your mission is tailor made with
you in mind. You are precious and
perfect. You just have to allow this
part of you to shine and you will. Have
faith. Meditate on faith. Know that the answers will come. Persevere.
Remain intent on overcoming all obstacles that come between you and your
destiny for these are the life lessons you must learn.

THE ELDERLY
Most of us have aging parents, grandparents
and some of us are entering our senior years.
It can be difficult dealing with the aging process and the issues that
go along with it.
Those of us who have a relatively healthy
body and are able to move without restriction should appreciate this
miracle. Regardless of physical limitations,
it is important to keep as active as we possibly can and this includes mental
exercise. We need to continually
exercise our brains just as much as we need to exercise our bodies.
For those of us caring for elderly parents
or grandparents, the experience is not always a pleasurable one. For some, our loved ones are no longer the
people they used to be. It is difficult
to have to stand back and watch mental and physical ailments slowly steal our
loved ones from us and there is little we can do about it. It is important that we continually reassure
them that we still care for them and hold them dear to our hearts. Remind yourself when you are frustrated with
situations, how difficult it must be for them.
Unfortunately, for their sake, we should keep our emotional responses under
wrap to help them through their difficult transformations.
So many of our seniors suffer from and
recognize their memory loss. This
realization simply aggravates the condition that much more. Understandably, they fight to maintain
control of their lives. It is so important
to be aware of the effects of these diseases.
Educate yourself. You cannot allow
yourself to become angry or frustrated with those that suffer these debilitating
diseases.
There are many of these patients that live
in long care homes and receive little to no support from their families. Although they forget, and maybe not even
recognize their family members, they still enjoy a visit “from that kind
stranger” that came today. Small actions
on our part can have an enormous impact on them, even if only temporarily.
Give of yourself when you can. One day if we are lucky enough, we may reach
our own ripe old age and it would be nice if our loved ones did not abandon
us. Remember we all walk that same
road. How we deteriorate is yet to be
determined and how are last days are experienced may be in other people’s
hands.
Live a giving life right to the end and
help where you can. There is little to
lose and so much to gain. Live for today
as it’s all we truly have.

The Eighth House in Astrology
The eighth house is rather a mysterious
house, although not quite as mysterious as the twelfth. It is considered an occult house and many
undertones related to the mystic have their origins in this house. The occult is closely linked to this house,
as it is ruled by Scorpio which has its routes buried in the psychic
underground. This house is also ruled by
Pluto. Pluto regenerates and causes one
to delve deep into one’s own psyche and discover the undercurrents that push and
pull us to where we are meant to go throughout our lives. Pluto is all about transformations, life and
death issues which are all closely linked to the eighth house.
Death and rebirth can be brought forward on
many levels. This house deeply relates to
death and rebirth, when a transiting Planet passes through it. By the time this transit has completed its
course we will undergo a transformation which will focus on the energies of the
planet passing through this house. If
there are planets located in this house, such as the Sun in our Birth chart, we
will experience great changes to our core personality, especially if Uranus or
Pluto is the planet transiting our Sun in this house.
This house does offer support along with an
interest in uncovering our most inner characteristics, found deep inside the
places that we may not venture often.
When an outer planet is transiting through this house, we may be forced
to dig up issues that have been locked away in our subconscious for years. The support that this house speaks about
occurs when we confront these so called demons that have been dormant for years
and face them head-on and transform them into something that can assist us.
This is also the house of legacies, wills,
inheritance, alimony and taxes.
Depending on what needs to surface, a transforming planet such as Pluto
passing through this area of our chart may bring these areas to the
surface. Other people’s money is
governed by this house as well as joint finances. Often issues are resolved by the time a
planets passes through this house when there is a connection to these matters.
This is the house of the unspoken words,
and often there are other powers related to spiritual connections associated to
this house. People with many planets in
this house natally often have a marked increase in psychic experiences and
especially when linked to any signs that are in the element of water. It is a powerful house and often the
necessary changes that need to take place in a person’s life unravel during times
when planets are transiting through this house.
It usually takes a little time to uncover all the transformations that
have taken place, as much lies beneath the surface. You will have to uncover the hidden messages
that may be revealed during transits through this house.
Sex is also under the domain of this house. Much can be uncovered by looking at the
eighth house to ascertain the sexual undercurrents in a person’s life. The sign on the cusp will help to uncover
much of the sexual undertones of the individual and how they respond to sexual
content entering their lives.
