Have you ever sat down and thought about
your acquaintances and your close family members. What is their purpose?
You undoubtedly have come to terms with
friends coming and going in your life.
What was the reason for their “being” at that particular time? What did you learn and what was shared that
made that connection important?
Long term close friends certainly play an
important part in our life. Besides
comradeship and the sharing of special times, they sometimes seem to know just
what to say in times of stress or during the questioning stages that we all go
through. They have been brought into our
lives for specific reasons and if you look deep, you will uncover some of the
answers.
Most seem to fade away for some reason and
some leave us unexpectedly. They must
have served their purpose. We gained a
little insight and growth from each one of them and carry a part of who they
were with us (through their influence or impact) as we continue on our journey
without their physical presence.
There are the few, the very few that have a
lasting quality and we share much of our lives with these individuals. We grow together and share our experiences together. They are the special ones; the ones that have
undoubtedly linked up with us in previous incarnations. Pay special attention to these individuals. They have something specific to teach us and the
lesson is, more often than not, found within their personality.
Our close family members also have a
special role to play. These people too
have undoubtedly shares previous incarnations with us. In several cases, we have shared lives many
times with these special individuals. I
am not suggesting that these relationships are easy ones as those individuals
that we do not see eye to eye with are the ones that can offer the most
profound lessons in life.
It is not always under pleasant conditions
that we are joined, but sometimes the hardest but most successful lessons come
through these channels of learning. We
learn to adapt to these people and love them even when we have issues with
them. In most cases our loved ones are
special. We share much of our lives and
could not image living without them. Whether
you relationships are easy flowing or difficult, appreciate the growth that is
found through your experience with them.
Count your blessings each day. Pay attention to your relationships with each
person around you. You might be
pleasantly surprised. After close
examination, you may come to a new understanding and appreciate them in ways
that you did not before. They walk the
road of life with you. Enjoy the
company.
