There are many religious organizations throughout our world.  There are individuals that have great faith in their specific religious beliefs.  Most of us, whether we have a religious background or not, share one common goal and that is the pursuit of love.  We seek to aid one another through various acts of kindness and share a common belief of the existence of a higher force or the original pure essence.

For most religious leaders, their intentions are admirable for the pursuit is one of love and compassion for our fellow man.  We all walk this earth together.  Although our customs vary, we are still brothers and sisters at heart.  Surely the pursuit of love and compassion can become a common ground for all of us.  Surely we can walk this earth in peace and a shared feeling of unity.  Why is it taking so long for our religious leaders to band together and work in unity?  Religious, mystical or spiritual, each may have its own route but each is evolving.  We must respect one another for our end goal ultimately is the same.

Why must our differences segregate us?  Imagine what a force for good our world could experience if we could all unite.  Imagine what global interaction could mean to our poor, the lonely and the desolate?

We have the foundation required to join as one.  Inside all of us there is a place where we are in touch with our own pure essence.  Inside we each have our own temple of peace.  We are individual pieces of the whole but always linked through consciousness.

The next time you expend your energy on our differences (differences that only serve to divide us), remember that you could have been born anywhere--within any culture.  Count your blessings each and every day whatever they may be and spread love.  Teach our world by being a living example and let the wave of love encompass our earth. 

When we are born, we are all equal and when we depart, we leave this existence simply as a soul.  Neither our material richness nor our beliefs change our exit.  We came with nothing and leave with nothing as measured by the material world.  Our beliefs may alter and mature as we mature but our pure essence it always preparing us for that final day’s journey.  Our life ties us to the eternal moment and we all move in the same direction.  Our routes may vary but we all reach the final destination point.  Why should we not do this hand in hand?
