Uranus is known as the awakener and it brings
forth unexpected events. When it
conjuncts the planet Venus in the natal chart, Uranus’ action (which is pretty
much inevitable) seeks to either move away from unwanted or stale relationships
or unite with someone who can bring forth new and adventurous conditions into
life--sometimes both.
Venus is the planet of love and affection along
with comfort which includes luxury items.
It is also connected with social events.
Much of the action that Uranus will impose on Venus depends on the natal
aspects between these two planets and the state of each of these planets in the
birth chart. If for example Uranus and
Venus are in trine with one another in the birth chart, the potential for a happy
outcome and good things are exemplified.
However, if Uranus and Venus are in square to one another in the birth
chart, we can expect the unexpected and these events could be less than
desirable.
The effects of this conjunction in transit
are usually quite dramatic in their nature.
The desire for freedom and something new is often an offshoot with the
meeting of these planetary energies.
Much of this could pertain to relationships and if an existing
relationship has been going along smooth, the chances for disruption is often
possible if not probable; however, if the relationship is built on a solid
foundation and has stood the tests from challenges in the past, it will
undoubtedly be resilient enough to pull through the conditions Uranus may assert
on it.
Uranus wants to rebel against anything that
no longer serves a purpose and pushes for new direction. It needs freedom. It is not uncommon to meet up with an “electric”
individual who sweeps you off your feet during the conjunction of these two
planetary energies. This new individual
may be exciting and original in their approach, and there is something about
them that pushes you in directions you may not have taken previous to meeting
them.
Often things happen on the spur of the
moment and without warning; life just happens.
Expect the unexpected is what you can anticipate when Uranus is involved
and although this individual may be exhilarating, as quickly as they came into
your life, they may leave just as quickly. This is not to say that the relationship will
not endure, but there is potential that this new and thrilling person may have
come into your life to create some very necessary changes and then leave quickly
and expectantly. Uranus instigates and
promotes change when the current conditions in life no longer fit the criteria
that our lives now require.
