Are you focused in the moment or are you thinking about what was or what will be?
Do you
notice all the little things around you, the colors, sounds, vibrations from
others, the sequence of events and all the words spoken in between the events?
When you
are focused like this, you are living in the moment.
If you have found that time is passing you by, this is likely suggesting that you are not focused in the present. Time seems to slow down when we live in the ever-present now. Most of us understand the concept of living in the moment, but how many of us actually do it?
Take back your focus. Live in the moment as we only really have the moment if we are living. If we are not in the moment, we are existing in our heads and that is just distracting chatter.
The past is
gone, and the future is yet to come. So
many individuals worry about possibilities, wasting time. What we worry about
seldom materializes. When challenges come up, we are seldom prepared because
worry does nothing to enable us.
Live your
life in the now. Let go of the past; it
will never be as it was moving forward.
Worrying
about the future only robs us of the moment and solves nothing.
