REKINDLING OLD FRIENDSHIPS

It is quite amazing when an old friend from your past surprises you by dropping in for a visit, calling you or sending you an unexpected message.  Old acquaintances have a special bond.  Not only are they from a time long since passed, but they shared special moments that few in the present are aware of.

It is similar to taking a walk down an old country road where there is no traffic.  The trees and foliage are untouched by the present day world.  It is a page from the past brought back to life; rekindling an old feeling of comfort and a sense of joy.

If you are lucky enough to have someone come back into your life or if someone is lucky enough to have you back in their life, do not pass this special moment by and allow it slip to the wayside.  Seize the moment to reawaken that old feeling and to share the memories.  Resume that old friendship that always picks up right where it was left off.

It does not matter how long you go between meetings.  The old feelings for a special friendship never fade away.  This is the magnificence of a special relationship.  There are always those special moments in time frozen in our memories waiting to be reactivated anytime, anywhere and at a moment’s notice.  Indeed, special are the words and understandings forged and shared.

In retrospect, life seems to shoot by at an incomprehensible speed.  Grasp each moment as it presents itself.  Do not waste your time on things that are not important.  Enjoy and grow from your life’s experiences.  Sometimes, it is refreshing to sit with an old familiar friend to review the wonders of life.

Transits of Saturn in Astrology

When Saturn moves through the Natal Chart and makes its way through the houses or contacts Natal planets, its influence is usually very significant.  Saturn’s location through transit in the houses flushes out matters represented by the house it is in.  As houses pertain to areas of life, Saturn through a house is suggestive of areas of life that are now being tested and scrutinized.  Any planetary bodies located within these houses will be impacted and the energies and definition of these planets become challenged and will require your attention.

When Saturn becomes activated in a Natal Chart, by moving within orb (usually about 5 degrees), its influence becomes apparent, but most view it as an outward force that is basically in control of current life’s issues.  Quite often Saturn will operate on levels that are considered not pleasant, uncomfortable or challenging.  Sometimes depending on the natal position of Saturn and its aspects, this can be diluted somewhat, but its force draws attention to life’s issues that require your attention.

There is a fated quality to life when Saturn is strongly influencing your life, but on a deep level, your life is programmed through your own interaction and outlook.  Saturn will make you take a second look at your life and its complexities and force you to make changes that, on some level, are required.  Your universe responds to your attitude and belief structure and when Saturn moves into an area of life that needs some adjustments, it challenges your attitude and belief structure which in turn pushes you to make changes that down the road will enhance your overall experience of life.  They are necessary changes that you need to make and if by chance you try to ignore this calling, Saturn can be quite disruptive and will promote change on more intense levels.

Saturn is known as the teacher, the disciplinarian but if you move within its energies and follow through on the inner instructions that are taking place, the rewards far outweigh any challenges that push you to do what must be done.

A quick example of this might be that Saturn is making a conjunction to your Natal Sun in the first house.  The sign placement of your Sun must also be determined for further evaluation, and you would have to look for flaws within that particular Sun Sign as some of these characteristics may be part of the necessary changes.  Saturn would then be forcing you to take a closer look at who you are and how you express these characteristics in an outward fashion.  This would include your manner of communication, the way you appear and how you present yourself to the world at large as well as deeper ingrained character traits of the Sun sign.  If changes were required and under most conditions this would be the case, then Saturn would present obstacles or obstructions in the way and cause you to view yourself objectively.  It is important to remember under this condition that often the traits and characteristics you dislike or notice in others are reflections of what takes place internally.  You may need to review any negative feedback you pick up and see if these qualities are also in you.

Soul Mate

Do you believe that you have found the perfect companion and lifelong mate to accompany you in your adventure during this life?  Does the union itself seem fated or was your original meeting fated in some way?  Was it by chance that you just happened to meet or was it planned long ago by two souls that have been together countless times before?

Astrological Composite Chart

The composite chart is a chart drawn up for two individuals that are interested in how they would interact as a couple, either through a romantic relationship or business partnership.  This Chart can also be used to determine the relationship between any two individuals, such as parent and child or to determine friendship potential between two individuals.

The Chart is prepared from the Birth chart of the two individuals and the midpoint between each planetary placement as well as the midpoint between the Ascendant and Midheaven.  An example of this would be someone having their Sun in Capricorn at 15 degrees and the other individual having their Sun at 25 degrees Aquarius.  There are forty degrees between the two solar locations and dividing this in half, you would come up with 20 degrees.  This would make the midpoint 5 degrees Aquarius.  You would include the minutes as well as the degrees to come up with a midpoint system.  This is completed for all the planets, the Moon’s midpoint, Mercury’s, etc. as well as the Ascendant’s and Midheaven’s midpoints.  Most astrological sites will provide you with this Chart as long as you have the correct birth times for each individual involved.

Upon completion, you now have one chart which could be used as an auxiliary Natal Chart.  This Chart describes the union of these two individuals involved.  This Chart describes their assets and the challenges that are now apparent within the relationship.  It describes how the two interact as a couple internally as well as on an external level.  Much can now be defined as to the overall condition of the relationship and its apparent attributes and how the two will mingle and interact as a unit.

Many individuals commission this Chart when beginning a meaningful relationship or starting a business.  It provides a comprehensive outlook at the overall compatibility between these individual and if there are deficiencies within the union.  There are always strengths and weaknesses apparent within all horoscopes, and this Chart defines the particulars that if applied in a unified and appropriate fashion can promote a lasting and opportunistic union that so many individuals seek.

Separation

Are you recently separated or are you contemplating making a change in your matrimonial status.  All relationships have their benefits and their struggles but each of your relationships are worthy of further consideration.  In many cases, the complications that hinder the relationship can be solved through communication, but these complicated issues must be approached from all sides.  Both parties must have equal rights when it comes to expressing their concerns and choices, and both parties must be willing to sit down and discuss all issues.

There are periods in all relationships where working out solutions is a necessary ingredient for the relationship’s longevity and survival.  Both parties should be willing to make changes.  A relationship is give and taken.  It is imperative to realize, if the relationship is worth saving, that acceptance of the other and their ways, good or bad, is necessary.  We cannot “expect” others to change for us.  We accept them for who they are. 

First, and always foremost, examine what you can do to make the connect function more smooth.  If both parties are willing to look at alternatives and make changes to themselves and to restore harmony, the relationship will have the potential to reach new heights now and in times to come.

On the other hand, if one or both individuals are not willing to make the required changes to restore the relationship and promote potential growth, then perhaps it is best that both individuals mutually decide to go their separate ways.  There is always a resolution and if the terms are not acceptable, it is impossible to resolve the differences.  To live life frustrated or stifled, only hinders personal growth and future potential.  Before making this permanent leap, be sure that you have earnestly pursued every available avenue to preserve your relationship.

 

Change can be difficult and frightening regardless of what the changes may be.  If alterations are required in your life style, internal changes also need to take place.  Expose the causes to the problems associated with this relationship and be sure that you do not move into the next phase of life without making those required changes.  Without taking some responsibility, undoubtedly the same issues will present themselves again and again.  The next presentation may be on a different level but it will undoubtedly be far more severe and the ramifications will far outweigh any previous experience.

If the time has come to move in a new direction with your life with or without your current partner, move into your life’s next chapter with the knowledge and willingness to learn from previous circumstances.  Move forward with confidence of self and with knowledge of lessons well learned.  Let go of resentment, as it harbours only negativity in your life.  A new chapter is on the horizon for everyone and there are always opportunities for growth and a chance to instill love into your life.  Accept this.  Life is always ready to lift you up and away from all of your anxiety.  The next phase of your life is only a step away.

Astrology welcomes the Sign of Aquarius

The sun entered Aquarius on Monday, January 20.  Sun in Aquarius individuals are difficult to decipher.  They seem to have two sides to their personality-- one being very outgoing, eccentric and high-spirited, and the other being shy, persevering and quiet.  They switch back and forth until they become comfortable with the individual they are dealing with.  They may still keep to themselves at times and figuring them out emotionally can be difficult.  Many Aquarius individuals appear to be standoffish and aloof when it comes to their emotions, (placement of the Moon will have ramifications with this) but these individuals are caring none-the-less.

Many are considered eccentric in their behaviour, have intellectual curiosity and with their mind always somewhere in the future.  They have difficulty staying in the present, and you may find them drifting away often.  They have an analytical mind.  Some Aquarius people are considered gifted and well ahead of their time.  The average Aquarian is usually very unique, and you many consider them a bit strange, although they are loyal and faithful friends.  When looking for romantic love from an Aquarian, you have to become their friend first.

Most Aquarians are friendly, and although somewhat removed from the public, are still considered quite approachable, social and very outgoing individuals.  They have a strong need to solve problems, especially on a big scale--the world’s problems, if you will.  They truly want to make the world a better place to live and work on a somewhat larger scale than most.  This makes many Aquarians less intimate and there is a great need for them to learn to connect with people on a more individual, emotional level.  The whole is more important that the individuals parts.

THE OTHER SIDE OF THE TRACKS

Take a moment to review your blessings.  Think of those people who wake of the pains in their stomach due to lack of food.  Think of those unable to sleep because of pain due to an illness that has no cure.  Think of those parents who helplessly watch their children struggle without proper nutrition, clean water, health care or education.  Think of those forced from their homes due to natural disaster or from unrest and war.

These are daily living conditions for far too many human beings that we share this planet with.  They struggle to get through each and every day.  Countless individuals are dying from mal-nutrition and starvation and countless more are struggling with disease ridden bodies with little hope of recovery.  Stop for a moment and ponder their situations.  Many of us see the suffering on our television or read about the atrocities being carried out around the world, but pass it by as just something more on television.  Our minds simply render these visuals as illusion....just as any other television show.

Take a very close look at your life and recall just how frequently you complain about your living conditions.  They are now dwarfed when you compare how rich and fulfilling your life is in comparison to so many others.  The next time you begin grumbling about your day or how hard you have had it lately, reflect on those less fortunate than you and recognize your blessings.

You were born into this life of plenty and avoided the potential life that so many of your fellow brothers and sisters experience every day.  Imagine fighting for life as so many do the next time you complain about menial matters.  Always appreciate just how good you actually have it.  You could so easily have been born into a completely different life than the piece of paradise you experience daily.

Give thanks.  Truly give thanks and look at your life from a positive perspective.  Appreciate all the luxuries and opportunities you have.  Most of these often go unacknowledged because we expect them to be the norm.  We are truly blessed even when we are experiencing difficulties as many do.  Focus on what you have instead of what you do not have and appreciate every breath throughout your day.

Ask yourself, what can I do to make someone’s life a little better?  Sometimes, it does not take much!  Enrich your life even further--help someone less fortunately than you!

TRANSITING URANUS AND JUPITER ON MC OR ASCENDANT

Jupiter is currently in retrograde (appear to move backwards) and will be wavering between 10-15 degrees Cancer until May of 2014.  At the same time, Uranus is direct in motion (moving forward through transit) and will be between 10-15 degrees in Aries.  These two planetary forces will be in square to one another during this time frame.

If you have either your Ascendant or Midheaven at one of these degrees in your Birth chart, these two transits will currently be influencing your life.  The events that could unfold can vary considerably and depending on the aspect between these two giants in your Birth chart or Natal chart, you may be affected in constructive ways or in adverse ways. 

If these two planets are in good aspect between each other, it could be considered a very fortunate period in your life.  You may experience sudden changes in your luck which may affect your standing in the community, your work life and/or your status.  If either one of these planets in your Birth chart is connected to the second, fifth house or even the eighth house, you may experience income that would not normally be coming your way.

If these planets are linked to the Ascendant meaning that you either have an Aries or Cancer Ascendant between 10-15 degrees, you may experience sudden changes taking place on a more personal level.  You may become involved with someone of great importance, you may alter your appearance significantly, or your health could be affected.  With either connection, the need for freedom is accentuated during this period.

There is also a certain degree of restlessness that usually accompanies this period and you will experience impatience with any type of restrictions or delays with your plans.  There is usually some disturbance in your life and you are likely to see changes that are unexpected and sudden in nature.  The urge for freedom or need to break away from some restriction is strong and often people under this influence will suddenly make moves without proper forethought and consideration to do what is best, often afterwards regretting the outcome.

The ideal way of handling this influence is to take the necessary time to carefully weigh out the options before jumping into anything new.  Objectively view all possible outcomes that may result because of your intended actions.  Take your time and make sure that you are not just jumping due to restlessness or the need for freedom.   You may need freedom and change in your life but life itself may provide this for you without you doing anything to make it happen.  If you try to avoid moving too quickly and impulsively, you will more than likely succeed in your endeavors in the long haul, with less chances for regret from actions taken on the spur of the moment.

Take your time and look at the situation from all angles before jumping.  By doing so, you stand the best chance of moving in the intended direction with less friction and regrets.  Great advancements in personal liberation as well as new enlightening changes are strong potentials during these times.

LIFE’S GAME

As you start your day, regardless of what is forthcoming, start out fresh with good intentions.  Begin the day within the confines of a progressive attitude.  Relying on nothing and be ready for anything the day may hurtle your way.  This process enhances the potential for constructive results and rewards due to your direct effort.

As the day unfolds, what emerges during the day is not that important.  It is all about your attitude and your personal view on what transpires.  It is how you play the game that matters, not whether your day is viewed as a victory or a loss.  Do your best and remain optimistic that the day will bring about desired results, lessons well learns and opportunities for you to direct the course of your day.

Life will provide you with opportunities to change your perception.  Yours is the choice of your reaction.  It is a testing ground, of sorts, where you can sway the situation with your reaction.  You will be astounded at how you can change the course of the day just by your response.  Your reaction pushes the momentum in a specific direction, and people and circumstances usually respond either in a complimentary fashion, depending on your initial reaction, or the reply can be adverse creating situations that will provide you with yet another opportunity to change your view on the event.

You assist the events of your day by your response.  You plan the route for the direction you ultimately take through acceptance or through negative response.  Quite often the day begins on the terms of your initial programme for it.  If you wake up and begin your day with a negative attitude or negative response, the odds are your day will continue along a similar path.  You can, however, change the direction whenever you decide.  It is in your hands and you make the decision.  Will I fight the events of this day or will I accept them and move forward allowing life to roll off my back?

The unanticipated will always crop up in life and will affect you initially.  This in normal, but you have control over the continual flow as you begin to take charge of your reaction.  You activate outside stimuli by the direction of your expectations.  Consider your day to be like focused energy and you control the flow with your thoughts and reactions.  Whatever you send out into the universe is returned to you, as the universe does not judge good or bad.  It just sends you more of the same.

Unlock your potential first by accepting your part and obligation in controlling your day.  Accept any obstacles or lessons as they arise.  Do not own them, however.  Accept and release.  Do not give them energy or strength by reinforcing the situation.  Simply acknowledge and then let go.  Bringing about the changes you desire by refocusing and projecting your thoughts out into the universe.  This is the process and you activate this process on a constant basis whether you are aware of it or not.

Test the process if you wish by refocusing your energies, but you must remain steadfast until you begin to see the effects of what it is you are trying to manifest.  It is difficult in the beginning because you are accustomed to living your life without interaction and knowledge that you can change the course of the day.  Put it into practice and see what unfolds.  What do you have to lose?

CHILDREN’S PURITY

Do you have little ones running around the house, or grandchildren, or friends with young children?  Are these little ones not a true blessing?  There is a remarked innocence etched in their smiles.  There are long, sad faces when they are told it is time for bed.  There is constant love coming your way.  There is never ending laughter and short lived tears.

These are adults in the making.  They are a true blessing from the inside, out.  They provide non-stop excitement for everyone to share.  The simplest things capture their attention, and hold their interest intensely although only for a short, passing moment.  Children catch most everything.  They miss little and have a momentous memory which stores information and experiences.  These in turn slowly mold them into who they will become.

They grow and mature quickly.  They are as sponges soaking in every ounce of information and experience available to them.  We can learn from these absorbing minds.  We must allow our own minds to grow from our experiences in life yet keep the pure innocence and wonder of childhood.  Help mold them into happy, fearless and optimistic individuals and prepare them to take on the world.  Let them know when life is not safe, but teach them safety, not fear.   Fill them with confidence.  Allow them to be believers.  Teach them right from wrong.  Above all else, teach them that love in its purity must be expressed.  How can you teach these young minds, ONLY through example. 

Be your children’s, grandchildren’s or friend’s children’s best example.  Remember this when you are ready to lose your patience.  Even after a long hard day of work, the lesson is not over.  Be the example of compassion, patience, and love.  Teach them to believe in themselves.  To do this you must believe in you.

 

You are their pillar of strength and the model of perfection.  They hold you highest on their pedestal.  Do not disappoint, although they will always forgive.  Learn from them.  They have important life lessons to teach us purely through their innocence.  Watch them.  They will provide you with insight on how you should be living your life.  As they lean on you, be aware that you can lean on them.  They are wiser than you know.  Many are old souls that have come back to live out their lives with you.  Understand this and realize how magnificent this is. 

The children of today are reflections of the children we were, so long ago.  Hold them dear to your heart and pay heed to the little voices ringing in your ear.  They are the true expression of love and God’s gift to you.  Hold on to this.  Love them unconditionally as they love you!

TRANSITING NEPTUNE CONJUNCT THE NORTH NODE

The transit of Neptune in Pisces between 0-3 degrees conjunct to the natal North Node in Pisces at the same degrees will affect those born between December, 1951 to April, 1952; July 1970 to the end of October 1970 and between April to the end of May in 1989.  Transiting Neptune from February 2012 to February 2014 will conjunct the North Node in Pisces in your Birth Chart if you were born during the previously mentioned dates.

If you were to have a look at your Natal (Birth) Chart and you pinpoint Neptune’s and the North Node’s locations, they will indicated what area of life which will be affected.  This is where your future (which is the primary focus of the North Node) begins to unfold.  This could be termed a “date” with “your calling” in life and will be classified as a critical turning point in your life’s mission.

The North Node in Pisces deals with finding your spiritual mission and adhering to the higher principles in life--following a path of enlightenment.  It ventures to find a creative outlet through several different channels which is found within the house position of your North Node.  You will be pushed in this direction through a spiritual lifestyle or objective. 

During the linking together of the energies of Neptune and your North Node through transit, the objective is to permit life to happen, without interference, and to let go of any anticipations that your future might hold.  In other words, let life lead the way without restriction by you and have the faith to move with life, rather than trying to control life’s situation at hand.

My Part

How do I fit into this elaborate network known as life?  What does one single person mean when there are over seven billion people on the planet?  How could I possibly matter and if I do, on what scale?

Each of our lives is a connection point where the energy of like minds come together.  Each and every one of us affects the overall direction of the population.  How do you fit in?  You are part of that unity.  Although you may view your overall participation as minute, do you question on what level is your vantage point?  Your connection with the overall movement might actively be doing very significant work beneath the surface.  You may not be aware of the input you have on others or the effects from what you say or the example you set by the way you live your life. 

These factors have their impact, and leading by example may be your greatest asset.  Your view of yourself and your intentions are only a portion of what transpires.  Your view of yourself is limited to one person’s opinion and that person is you.  No one sees you the way you do and no one deciphers your daily activities the way you do.  Everyone sees others on a different level and receives something truly unique through each interaction.

Is it not then important to self-reflect and view yourself objectively?  Do not be harsh with your judgements on yourself.  Live from the inside out.  Following your heart and reflect on your positive attributes.  You only need to focus on your flaws long enough to correct them.  Giving them any more attention than is required to eliminate them only gives them energy to survive and flourish.

Judge to gain recognition of that which is important, but do not judge with harshness to belittle.  Study yourself, but do not obsess.  Find solutions but stay alert to further education. 

You are significant in our world and we walk together furthering our evolution individually yet as a collective whole.  You are divided only through your “belief” that you journey this life alone.

Decanates in Astrology

Your Astrological Sun Sign is a very small part of the description of your whole personality and even the Sun Sign can be broken down into a most concise description for each individual.  The degree of your Sun Sign gives a detailed description of the inner you.

The Sun sign is divided into three sections.  Each section takes up a ten degrees influence on the Sun Signs.  These three sections or triplicities are known as decanates.  For example, Aries is a fire sign, as is Leo and Sagittarius.  If your Sun Sign is in Aries at 11 degrees and 15 minutes for example, you are still an Aries (ruled by the element fire and the planet Mars), but the second Fire sign would be represented starting at 10 degrees Aries.  The second fire sign is Leo which is ruled by the Sun.  As a result, you (born 11 degrees, 15 minutes Aries) have an Aries Sun sign, ruled by Mars, but also have the colouring of Leo and its ruler the Sun influencing your Sun Sign character.

This is why you may find that the Sun sign suits your character traits to some extent, but in this example you also show Leo characteristics.  If by chance you have several planets in Leo or the fifth house which is ruled by Leo, your Aries tendencies may be watered down and the overriding influence of Leo may be much more noticeable in your inner character.  In some cases, this is extremely evident in people with more subdued Sun signs and stronger placements of these ruling signs and house influences in their charts.

Decants are significant in adding more colouring to your Sun sign traits, as are planetary links in signs and houses.  This explains why some people do not fit their birth chart Sun Sign very well, although if you were to ask them if they can identify with their Sun Sign, they will still say yes strongly, because the Sun sign is not always revealed as an outside personality trait.  It is far more an inner personality trait.

If you were born within the first 10 degrees of your sun sign, you would be considered double that sun sign.  The next sign of that element (fire, water, earth, air) would be the decant from 10 degrees to 19 degrees and 59 minutes of that element and the third sign of that element would be defined as part of your personality if your Sun sign was 20 degrees to 29 degrees and 59 minutes into its sign.

Your Sun sign is part of your mission in this life time and you have entered this existence to develop your whole self and to fully understand who you truly are.

You can do this anytime, anywhere.  It is always available and never-ending.  It is the escape route to self and always offers tranquility and solutions to all of life’s concerns.  It is unpretentious, honest and accessible for all.  With continuous repetition and training, you can focus your attention internally and you will find this place promptly with less and less effort.

Instead of getting caught up in the frustrations and limitations of the day, release your tensions and adapt to this reliable tradition.  Find the peace that resonates on an internal level constantly, and bring it to the surface.  With practice, determination and with persistent effort, you will make this peaceful place of solitude part of who you are on the surface and not just hidden away on the inside.  Life’s tranquil moments can become abundant.  Renounce the grip of tedious, frustrating experiences from your life.

COLD WINTRY DAY

Fear not winter’s fury.  Its force, although one to be reckoned with, is short lived and all of its splendor will soon be a thing of the past.  It is easy to get caught up in the moment and the anxiety caused by wintry conditions.  Step outside and look at the beauty the season surrounds you with instead of worrying about shoveling that driveway and the other mundane winter tasks.  Winter is actually a magnificent time of year.

If something is telling you that it is too dangerous to drive to work, perhaps you need a quiet day to stay home.  It is okay, once in a while, to have a day for yourself and not to be caught up in your paid duties.  Far more important is your safety.

If possible, seize the opportunity to be one with nature and explore some of the deeper regions of yourself.  Nature promotes peace.  If the opportunity presents itself, grasp the moment of tranquility, for the anxieties of work pressures each and every day can begin to weigh heavy on you.  A walk in the woods and spending time in nature can do wonders for the spirit and relax that tense mind.  There is something very soothing about nature and winter has its magnificence--the crackling snow under foot, the whistling winds in the tree-tops.  Enjoy this moment of solitude for soon all the wonderment will be lost once again.  Create a memory.

Sometimes you need to listen to the voice of life.   It talks to you on so many different levels and you have to be open to what it is saying.  Life is to be lived.  Life is to be shared.  Instead of staying inside on that cold winter day, get dressed and go for that walk in nature.  Let the landscape carry you away from your obligations, if only for today.  Rest and let go.  Enjoy your life and be one with nature, even on that snowy, wintry, cold and blistery day.  You will thank yourself for the respite and feel better from the experience.

ASTROLOGY'S NORTH NODE IN PISCES

As the nodes are depictive of our past incarnation and the purpose behind our chosen embodiment in this life, we thought we would discuss one of the nodal placements - Pisces.  As explained previously, if the North Node is in Pisces then the South Node would be the oppose sign Virgo.  Virgo would be descriptive of where you are coming from and the attributes and deficiencies you have brought with you into this life.

With the South Node in Virgo, in a past life, you would have been very disciplined and well-organized and during that life, you were in search of flawlessness particularly in worldly ways.  Typically, you would have analysed everything to the smallest detail and relentlessly insisted on putting everything in its proper place which would be aligned with your idea of perfection.

Many with difficult contacts to the South Node in Virgo have health issues.  Some becoming so focused on negativity that they become a hypochondriac.  There could possibly be some lingering issues that you have brought with you from the past and may now be highly sensitive to contaminants, easily absorb chemicals and must work on ways of purifying your body of these unwanted left over “shadows”.  Healthy eating would potentially invalidate these issues from the past.

If you find that you are busy categorizing everything and putting too much energy into critical matters, you are probably working out of the South Node and will need to shift to the higher octave found in the North Node of Pisces.

If you search within, you will find that you are mystically driven with originality and a strong sense of intuition, which will expand in its influence as you mature into your North Nodes placement in Pisces.  You have the potential and are here to address character traits in others that assist them with their ongoing journey and to teach them to have faith in their particular life’s mission.  You are able to put them in touch with their spiritual side and can help them come to the understanding that the greater whole resides within.

You now realize that there is more to life than the mundane ordered world that you have come from, which does somehow feel much more safe and guaranteed, but your mission is to get in touch with the real you and through meditation and spiritual practices move towards the intended Piscean path.  Old habits may be difficult to release and relying on practical reasoning is something that must be left behind, as the main ingredient to your life now is faith.  This is a difficult concept for one who has come from the ordered and practical side of earthly life.

INTENDED PATH

You are not here by chance.  The road you walk is predestined and you have come into this life to encounter all that life has to offer-- its ups and downs, its twists and turns; at time seemingly relentless and at times, in perfect peace and harmony.  Your life is unfolding constantly and you are here for the ride, but this does not mean that you are lost within life’s grasp.  Your divine purpose is to mold your reality into that perfect experience, where nothing can touch you, nothing can infiltrate your true interior, the real you.  The ego feels pain and failure.  The ego suggests that there is no hope but you are not your ego.

Yes, as life unfolds the events can be tumultuous to say the least and it can be difficult to pull yourself back on track again after intense inner turbulence, but you have the inner strength to conquer anything that life throws at you.  You are meant to recover and grow from all of life’s tribulations, its so called injustices and even its horrors.  Events can release inner anxieties that when identified as part of you can be the cause of great harm to you and your body.

People become “comfortable” (if this is the right word) with feelings of sadness and hold on to hurtful memories.  This often becomes the case of being lost within the drama, but you are not meant to live in this place for long.  Some find it difficult to move away from intense emotional experiences.  It is healthy to experience these emotions but not to hold on to them.  Acknowledge, digest and let go of every event in life.  Return your focus to the blessings received in life but not on what is missing.  By doing so, you will have the ability to move your life forward.

You attract into your life that which you focus on.  This is not to say that you have caused all the hard lessons experience in life--far from it.  It is up to you how long you choose to dwell in this place of sorrow and sometimes this place stems from feeling sorry for yourself.  You have to look at the big picture and know that life is unfolding as it should and even those terrible moments are there for a reason.

Hold on to the good moments, and draw your attention to all of the good that has been provided to you.  Do not pass anything by, even the smallest of details are significant and can help propel you in the appropriate direction.  It may be difficult to measure how good life is during times of strife, but this is the route to opening the door to better things.  Stay strong regardless of what happens and never give up.  There is only one way up and that path resides in knowing that you have what it takes to get you there.  You are the master of your life.  You are in control.  When you trip and fall, brush yourself off and get right back on your path.  Know that life will always help you get around that next corner into your light.

NEPTUNE CONJUNCT THE MC OR MIDHEAVEN

If you have your midheaven or MC between 28 degrees of Aquarius and 7 degrees of Pisces, this post will apply to you.  Between the spring of 2011 and the beginning of 2015, Neptune has been going in and out of retrograde.  Depending on the degree of your MC, Neptune will have been pushing its influence into your life.  If your MC is around 2-3 degrees Pisces, Neptune’s influence would have been very powerful during this time frame.

 

Neptune has a very powerful influence in your life, and with this connection, your life’s course and your assessment of yourself will be strongly impacted.  Depending on the Natal aspects to your midheaven, you may experience this time frame with a vague feeling of misperception in connection with what you have been doing with your life, particularly within the framework of your occupation and the direction of your life.  You may experience problems surrounding these areas of life, as well as your own personal view of how well you have been managing your life up until this time.

 

You may think that you have had a firm grip on your life’s direction and know exactly where you are heading, then suddenly life’s direction has become a slippery and clouded issue.  The ordinary route of your life may no longer feel satisfactory, and you may become intrigued with charity work, or doing something with your life that has a deeper meaning.  Neptune has a tendency to colour life somewhat and make things cloudy.  If you have been looking at a new direction in life, and consider it a viable course, it is suggested that you wait until Neptune is somewhat distanced itself from the placement of your MC.  Wait until it is about 2-3 degrees past your MC placement and ensure that it will not go into retrograde before making any type of commitment.

 

Some individuals experience psychic and spiritual tendencies during this time frame, where they feel the connection with the ego is dissipating and view life in a completely enlightened manner.  Most will have a sensation that they should go deeper into their own psychology and get to know themselves better.  This time can be an extremely enlightening period, but also quite a delusive time.  Once again it all becomes clear when the transit of Neptune no longer affects your midheaven.  Many of the changes both spiritually and materially will remain and solidify as time passes and a new way of looking at your life slowly begins to emerge.  Above all else, this transit of Neptune is a time of ego transcending and if the individual is evolved, new spiritual heights can be attained.  If the individual is not so attuned, it could be a time of confusion and life’s direction becomes very unclear.  This will pass, so it is wise not to become too judgemental, especially with matters of self until the transit has passed.

 

Those that experience this time as being confusing and void of clear purpose may uncover the reasons for feeling this way.  It is a time of self-discovery and if you have been going through difficulties perhaps you needs to view life appropriately and spend less time on self and concentrate the energies on others.  Neptune is all about self-less pursuits.  If you are able to see through the cloudiness of this transit, this can be a time of magnificent awakening to the splendors of life and much of what is gained through this period can become a life-long influence that will assist your growth in times to come.

New Year New Beginnings

Now that we have entered into a new year, many people will begin this period by making resolutions.  These resolutions are often short lived and although whole-hearted at the start, the intent quickly fades away into obscurity.  Have you experienced this in the past?  Are you now reluctant to make resolutions due to the possibility of failure?

Making a resolution to change something can be activated at any time, but for some reason many wait until the New Year.  It is as if one has a new slate to start from and a chance to rectify some of the problems or qualities that in the past have hindered our growth. 

Begin this day (regardless of what day it may be) with the spirit of a new beginning and with the intention to change something in your life to a more positive and effective method.  Each day we wake is a new beginning and a chance to start something new, or change your direction.  The timing or date is irrelevant as you can make changes now—today!

Pick one thing that needs your attention but do not make it too difficult.  Think of it as a practice run, but put your complete and full attention on this change, attainment or removal of  whatever you have placed you focus on. 

Failure when trying to make necessary or desired changes is that you have never truly and completely committed yourself.  We begin with whole-hearted desires and then when the going gets tough, we believe we can no longer continue and back off.

Understand what it is you are trying to change.  It is not so much the issue, as it is the mind’s interference with your focus and true desire to conquer the situation. The ego works in many subtle ways and as long as we are identifying with the ego’s intent, we hold ourselves back.  By recognizing the ego’s constant interference and by understanding what it is we actually want to accomplish, we can rectify any situation and produce any desired solution.

The ego is a hidden force that works beneath the surface and uses any means to satisfy its relentless pursuit of control.  As it loses its grip, it fights as if it is fighting for its life, and if the purpose is to relinquish the ego’s control, I suppose the ego is right.  Remember this as you move closer to completing your commitment and stand strong in the face of the ego’s intervention.  Know your place and understand the ego’s place.  Any thought of failure, in any shape or form, is ego intrusion and as long as you reminder yourself of this intrusion and what it actually is, you can conquer anything and change anything you set your mind to do.

You are always in control, but can only prove this to self once you believe it.  You are the one that makes the final decision, the one that says “yes” or the one that says “no”.  Even the feeling of failure is ego generated.  Understand this.  Know this.  If it does not feel right or if it does not make your life better (or if it makes you feel better than anyone else), it is spawned through the ego.  Your life is in your hands.  Conquer the small things and then take on the bigger things once you gain your confidence.  You will succeed as long as you do not identify with the ego and all of its distinguishing features.

CLOSE ACQUAINTANCES

It is always exciting when you learn that there will be an addition to your family.  It is believed that most individuals that you develop a relationship with in this lifetime have shared time with you in a previous incarnation.  Your new nephew may have been your best friend, or your new daughter may have been your spouse.  No matter what you beliefs entail, we share our life and experiences together with the as we need one another to further our spiritual evolution.

The relationships shared are not all necessarily warm and loving relationship.  Some relationships are predestined to have difficulties and all relationships, no matter how good, will share some strife along the way.  The most valuable teachings are found in times of conflict and discord.  There are valuable lessons with significant life knowledge gained when a curve ball is thrown our way.  When you strike out in anger, stop for a moment to take the time to really listen to what the other is saying.  There is often a deeper meaning but the surface meaning is also important.

Our relationships are not always measured by one on one quality but they certainly are measured by experience and lessons learned.  It is important to be open to this phenomenon and realise the significance behind all relationships.  Those around us have joined with us to share their lives and encourage our growth.  Think about how important this is and how honoured you should be.  They choose you with the loving understanding that together you experience and learn far beyond what one could do so alone.  Do not take close relationships for granted.  They hold special meaning.

Why do some new relationships seem so fated?  Why is it so immediately comfortable when you meet some people?  These relationships are meant to be.  You are supposed to share time together. Know this and accept this even when the relationship has challenges and obstacles that require hard work.  Labour through your issues and activate that ingrained love that brought you together.

TRANSITING URANUS SQUARE TRANSITING PLUTO

The transit between Uranus and Pluto is, to some degree or another, affecting everyone alive today some on a more subtle level than others.  Please see the NOTE at the end of this post. 

Depending on what area of your Chart is activated by these two planetary forces, (houses location), you will be aware that areas of your life have been going through changes over the past two years and they will continue to be affected for another year and one half.  Longstanding and archaic structures that have been built up over your life time are being replaced by new and revolutionary concepts.  This could be psychological issues or actual life circumstances.  Pluto’s influence is all about transformation and Uranus represents drastic change.

The current positioning of these giant forces of Astrology will clear the way for new, original ideas and life changes.  They will push you in a new direction.  If you have been making adjustments to your life over the past several years, you may already have initiated the process and the changes that will continue to take place may not be that sudden.  But if you have been feeling a subtle need to make changes in your life and this need has been heightening but you have not made any attempts to change circumstances or personal thinking in any way, the changes that are taking place may be a little more drastic and abrupt.

This transit represents a time in everyone’s life when the pressures for change are reaching a climax.  The energy that these planets yield will insist that you review these old, outdated ways and release them in one way or another.  As mentioned, what the actual changes will be is unique to each individual, but these influences will produce necessary transformations that will over time help you evolve and push you in your intended direction.  People and situations that have been standing in your way, so to speak, will now undergo changes, some drastic, but all necessary. 

These influences affect our whole generation and are mostly beyond our control.  Your reaction to these necessary changes that are affecting everyone as a whole is crucial.  There is a general subtle sway in our consciousness and those that are highly tuned into these frequencies have felt this shift for some time.  One should accept the changes that are taking place and allow the old to fade and the new to begin to settle.  It is the way of the world and when this transit has passed and in about 5 years if you reflect back on today you will see the changes that had taken place and just how necessary they were.

It could be considered a time of new birth and a new beginning for many.  As we all move together in consciousness, be of aid to those that this transit plays havoc with and offer reinforcement and your assistance.  If you understand how we all move as one and interact on an unconscious level, you can further your evolution together with the whole as one force.  Listen to the inner voice and move forward with optimism, acceptance and love.

NOTE:  If these planets set off other configurations in your Chart, especially with your Ascendant or midheaven, you will be impacted on a much more personal level.  Check your Birth Chart to see if your Ascendant or midheaven is between eight and fifteen degrees.  If these degrees correspond with these points or are accentuated in your Birth Chart’s planetary placements, they will be influencing your life on a larger scale than everyone else.  If you are an advanced Astrology student, check the midpoints in your Chart and see if these planets aspect this area.  This influence is even stronger if you have them in conjunction with these points or planets.  Check to see if you have Aries or Capricorn in these degrees for greater intensity as the aspect will be a conjunction to one of these points.
