LIFE MARCHES ON

Life experiences never cease to amaze.  Our journey bends and curves, has valleys and mountains offering great insights and experiences.  The experiences can be extreme, both up and down, but always moving forward even when we do not feel we the progress. At times it feels one step forward, two steps back. 

 

The voyage of life is our greatest teacher with guiding forces steering us as we venture forth. 

 

We are never alone, although at times it certainly feels that way.  We are surrounded by past family elders, current family members, friends and guides assisting us.

 

Life can be difficult at times pushing us into lessons we rather not have to experience, and we often question why things happen to us or to seemly other helpless individuals.  It is hard to rationalize through our earthy minds.  There are many things we simply do not understand. We cannot conceive because we are humans with limited concepts.  We think in human terms and cannot see the bigger picture. This is so apparent during the difficult lessons.

 

No matter what, life continues, even after our passing. Energy is perpetual so in some form or another we carry on, maybe even in a more engaged manner. 

 

All too often, some dwell on the negative experiences and forget to acknowledge and appreciate the good experiences. Let’s change that and make a conscious effort to review both the hard and the easy lessons we experience in life and then release and allow.

 

Life marches on. Our focus enhances whatever we concentrate on. With practice we can learn gratitude not a “why-me” attitude.  It takes work. There is no denying that but if you are persistent you will see the fruits of your labor.

FORECAST FOR SUN IN LEO, 2025

Today, we will look at some of the influences on Sun in Leo for the next year.

 

From late March, 2025 to late October (with a brief visit retrograded back into Pisces from October 22, 2025 to January 26, 2026), transiting Neptune will be in the sign of Aries. Neptune will make a Trine for those with their Sun sign in the early degrees of Leo.  You can give an orb of about 5° to feel the energies of this aspect in your birth chart and into your life’s experience.  The houses where the Sun and Neptune are located in your chart will play a significant role in what is unfolding over time.

 

For those that are connected to the spiritual realm, the influence of Neptune with your Sun can play a big part in your development over this period. Neptune moves slowly and will be in force for about 2 years creating an easier flow for those who wish to become more engaged in their spiritual journey.  Meditation and sleep/dream programming might assist greatly during this period. 

 

Saturn will also conjunct Neptune (strong from May 2025 to early September 2025, and then again from February, 2026 to early April, 2026), adding its influence of energy by making a trine to this configuration.  Saturn provides a reality check. Its energy will push you to make sure that what you are experiencing is real and not just imagined.  These two powerful planetary energies will work together, although they are quite different in their nature, as long as they are not challenged by the rest of the natal chart configurations.  During this aspect, it can be referred to as a testing period where the mystic takes on the practical applications of Saturn pushing for validity and confirmation of what unfolds for those involved.

 

Both planets are making favorable aspects to the placement of the Sun for those under this influence. Trines usually point towards easier flow, opportunities and general promising conditions, although Saturn will, as mentioned, test things.  Saturn would like you to ask yourself, “What can help in the transfer/learning of information?” and “How can I be sure that what I am receiving/learning is fact”.  These are perfect examples of questions that will need to be answered through careful reflection.

 

Pluto during the upcoming year and well into 2027 will be in the sign of Aquarius in the early degrees. During this time frame, transformations and potential regeneration take place in the lives of those that are touched by its influence.  Pluto in Aquarius creates an opposition for those with their Sun sign in Leo in the early degrees as well.  The sextile suggests opportunities to make changes, and to move into a new self-exploration phase.  You may find that you are making a shift, of significance, that will take time to unfold. 

 

There are, of course, other areas of focus during this timeframe, but we have focused on the spiritual side of our evolutionary journey. 

 

The forecast for Sun in Leo, 2025, suggest development and change. The houses involved indicate the areas of life that are influenced.  Use these powerful energies at hand to further your understanding of your purpose. You are so much more than what is seen on the surface.

LEO NEW MOON 2025

This is a significant New Moon coming up on July 24, 2025 because it receives several aspects from different outer planetary placements. 

 

This New Moon will be in the sign of Leo at 2°.  It receives aspects from Pluto at 2° Aquarius which is an Opposition, a Trine from Saturn and Neptune which are 1° and 2° respectively in Aries, and Uranus which is 0° in the sign of Gemini making a Sextile. 

 

New Moon’s suggest that it is the appropriate time to begin something new, make plans and orchestrate an action plan.  When the New Moon is in Leo, these energies will relate to self-proposed goals.  This indicates moving ahead with confidence with whatever you set in place and that there will be a strong potential for success.  You may have a strong feeling that you know what is best, and you will push ahead with confidence and assert your individuality regardless of any pushback.  The press for success is strong and it stems from the heart.  What you do now will have an influence on others in a positive way.

 

You can be assertive with your plans although with the Opposition from Pluto there is a suggestion that this will manifest in ways that regenerate and transform conditions that others may not approve of, or that others believe should include their input.  Others may want to direct your actions in ways that suit them or offer advice that may stagnate or change the direction you have in mind.  Other options are important, but you believe you know the best way forward. You likely will not listen to their advice as they may tend to dictate rather than conform to your ideologies.

 

At the same time, there is a positive relevance stemming from transiting Saturn and Neptune.  Neptune helps with your vision and creative potential, while Saturn offers stability and structure which may be required as you move forward to create some lasting results.  Reality sets in due to Saturn’s influence, and you understand that the path forward might not flow as smoothly as you might want it to. Your chances for success are highlighted because of the placement of these two planetary energies.

 

The Sextile from Uranus, which also has strong implications, will be in effect into the fall of this year (2025).  Uranus is about creating change because what has been in place now needs to be revamped or the direction of things needs to move out of complacency and into a new and better direction.  Uranus is known as the awakener and can bring sudden insights into the picture helping you to progress in new areas because of what you set out to do during this time frame.

 

The house locations of these transiting planets along with the placement of this New Moon in your Natal chart provides insight into the areas of life involved.  Check to see if other natal positions come into play as well, especially a Conjunction or Opposition to the New Moon’s placement of 2° Leo.  The overall chart will have to be delineated carefully to get the full picture.

 

Take advantage of the Leo New Moon 2025.  There is potential at hand. Move forward with confidence as a new direction is warranted and the chance of success is high.

SUN IN LEO

On July 22, 2025, the Sun moves from Cancer, a Cardinal, Water sign, into Leo a Fixed, Fire sign.  The energies shift from an emotionally sensitive sign which is nurturing in nature and quite receptive to the influences of its surroundings, to the strong, assertive, robust sign of Leo, the energies of which are associated to assistance for the betterment of whomever it deems is responsive. 

 

Leo individuals generally are generous, kind and considerate and considered bold in their actions.  They are energetic and action oriented.  They are leaders rather than followers and prefer to take a leading role when it comes to almost anything from organization to guidance.  They usually have a good sense of humor and are quite playful by nature.  They love adventure and excitement and enjoy the gamble in life. They are willing to try almost anything once.

 

Leo looks for appreciation, in some sense, for whatever they do for others.  They likes recognition and work diligently addressing the needs of those around them to aid them especially when in challenging situations.  Leonians are a helping hand in times of stress but also assisting anyone and this always comes from the heart.  Leo individuals feel they know what the best approach is for others when it comes to helping them.  This can create an issue as, although their intensions are good, not everyone wants their advice or assistance.

 

These individuals do not like being let down or disappointed.  Some may hold on to resentment over situations where they feel they have been wronged or not appreciated.  The Leo egos can be quite strong. They need a pat on the back and approval for their efforts, but they truly want to help.

As a sidenote, it is important to take into consideration whether the Leo birth date is on the cusp of either Cancer or Virgo as the Sun takes up an orb of 16°.  This will influence the nature and characteristics of the sign of Leo, as a cusping birth date will take on some of the energy of either sign depending on when the date of birth is.  Also, the house where the Sun falls in the natal chart will take on the natural ruler of the house and add to the influence of the Sun sign.  This holds true for any Sun Sign. For example, with Sun in Leo (1°) in the second house, Cancer tendencies would be detected with this individual as well as Taurus energies and tendencies as well (because of the second house influence).

DEVELOPMENTAL DELAYS

The feeling of being at a standstill or even moving in reverse can be perplexing. We can get caught up in thinking we have regressed. We may even feel we are losing the “muscle memory” of things we have learned and this knowledge or ability has run its course and may never return. 

 

Perceived notions can hold us back and actually stop us in our tracks. We can allow our beliefs to hold us captive and stagnated.  

 

Everything in life is subject to change. There are times when change is extreme and other times, when we are provided an opportunity to review and process. The latter tend to be the more quiet times in life, so quiet that we may feel stagnated.

 

What seems like a time of inactivity is actually a time afforded to you to review, process, plan, etc. You are not at a standstill. Be sure to take advantage of the time afforded to you. You will only advance when you are ready. Moving ahead too quickly, no matter how it feels or where you think you should be at this time, is not beneficial.

 

Insight comes in many different forms, at times through experience, through reflection and at other times through different unusual channels, some of which you may not even be aware of. 

 

Be patient. All valuable lessons include patience. These are not developmental delays; they are times to reflect. You will move ahead when you are ready and no sooner.

URANUS SEXTILE NATAL JUPITER

Uranus, often known as the awakener and initiator of sudden change, points us towards an area of life (determined by house position) that needs alteration and a shift because what has been in place needs to adjust and move in a new direction. 

 

Transiting Uranus can cause havoc and sometimes bring rather drastic changes in people’s lives.  Uranus action is to push to liberate us from anything that could be considered unnecessarily traditional or restrictive in nature.  It often brings change in unusual or unexpected ways, fostering in a much needed new direction.

 

Currently (July, 2025), Uranus is making its final pass in the sign of Taurus and will move into Gemini lasting approximately seven years.  Uranus is humanitarian and speaks to universal brotherhood and will ultimately assist mankind to develop, evolving to what better suits us as time goes by.  Uranus is comfortable in the sign of Gemini which offers Uranus new perspectives, insight and directions that may not otherwise be available.  There are usually two or more paths to take when we speak of Gemini although Gemini is also quite versatile and adaptable so the change and disruption that Uranus promises will have avenues of expression that suit the evolutionary path moving forward.

 

Jupiter, known as the greater benefic provides growth and expansion into different areas of life, also determined by house position.  Quite often the placement of Jupiter in the natal chart is an area of potential growth and often brings with it good luck depending on what other forces are at work (planetary alignments to Jupiter).  Jupiter promotes the expansion of our consciousness and teamed up with Uranus, which will be in Gemini, can open doorways to healing where necessary, provide insight into the deeper workings of humanity and provide guidance where it may be needed.

 

The sextile (60° aspect) is an aspect of opportunities that often provides us with easy flow, like the Trine (120° aspect) although we must apply ourselves to get things moving with the sextile.  This is often unlike the Trine as easy flow often comes to us without much persuasion.  This aspect offers the opportunity for you to harmonize the energies of both planets, creating an aim for a favorable outcome. 

 

Uranus and Jupiter offer us a chance to make significant changes in our lives, fostering in the new. These may be opportunities we have been waiting for or have been preparing for.  Because Jupiter is involved in the equation, you can expect major changes of direction that over time will prove to be beneficial although it may be a little challenging for those that are not comfortable with change. 

 

The direction that Uranus is leading us in will be exactly what is required although we may not understand why these changes are taking place. We will understand the direction and the change in time.

 

Check the Natal position of Jupiter, its aspects, the transiting position of Uranus along with its natal position by house and aspects in the chart to get the full picture.  For those with less experience or education with Astrology, an experienced astrologer can provide information to help you understand the passage forward and how to adjust to where that might lead you.

 

Uranus sextile natal Jupiter will provide a sudden but beneficial opportunity that you must act on to reap its rewards.  Change can be difficult but the sextile to Jupiter will ensure it is beneficial if you act.

FREEDOM OF CHOICE

Throughout life there are crossroads, some that lead us into unknown territory.  As we venture forward, we adjust accordingly and cross our fingers that we chose the right road.

 

Sometimes the choice seems to be out of our hands and other times we give priority to the possible outcomes even though they are not guaranteed. When faced with these choices, it can be challenging due to the unknown.

 

Our road ahead can be clear and concise or rather dusty because we don’t see the future clearly. We are afraid of making mistakes. We can only base our decisions on what we have experienced in the past

 

It should be noted that even under the harshest conditions, on some level, these life lessons are meant to be, and learning and then moving forward based on that knowledge is important.

 

Freedom comes when we commit to our decisions. Our attitude towards those decisions is more important than the actual move itself.  If we spend too much time worrying about the ramifications of these decisions, we only see those things we perceive we should be worrying about, so our positive focus is imperative.

 

We always need to move ahead after a decision knowing that it will take us to where we are meant to go, no matter where that may be. All things are temporary but essential as these are the important lessons in life.

 

We have freedom of choice. We gain valuable insight & our attitude plays an important role in our journey.  Don’t become stuck in perceived possibilities. Your choice will take you where you need to go.
