URANUS OPPOSITION NATAL NORTH NODE

If Transiting Uranus is in Opposition to the North Node in your chart, it is also Conjunction to the South Node.  The Conjunction is more powerful than the Opposition.

 

While the North Node has similarities in its energies to Jupiter, the South Node has similarities to Saturn. 

 

Transiting Uranus is currently entering into the sign of Gemini which suggests that if transiting Uranus is conjuncting your South Node, your South node is in Gemini and your North Node is in Sagittarius. 

 

Uranus brings a change of direction, and these changes can at times be considerably challenging, especially when we are speaking of the South Node’s interaction with it.  There may be a general feeling that change is due although not wanted.  It may be forced on you by opposing forces often linked to other people’s influence in your life.  You may be the subject of an unintentional change of direction and the beginning of a new start.

 

You may have felt quite comfortable with how things were, but we are not here to follow our South Nodes path (which is quite familiar). We are here to move towards our North Node objectives (which are new and unfamiliar).  Changes may be unexpected and challenging, and these changes may take you in a direction you do not desire.  As mentioned, they may be forced upon you. 

 

If by chance this change has to do with relationship issues (7^th house emphasis or potential 5^th house especially if the relationship is new), perhaps there have been issues within the relationship, undenounced by you, for some time and these issues are now surfacing.  Some things may seem to just come out of the proverbial woodwork, yet somehow feel destined, and you are forced to change directions or adapt to a new attitude.

 

If there are further implications stemming from the 12^th house, for example, then perhaps things have been going on behind your back, or you may have pushed things under the rug, preferring not to face the matter at hand.  This will affect you personally because your North Node is in the first house if your South Node is in the 7^th house. 

 

This connection with Uranus and the Nodes is a challenging one, and although things seem destined to take hold one way or the other, they are actually bringing you to where you need to be.  Adapting may be challenging but you likely have little choice. You must move in this new direction as it is your life’s path.  It may take some time to unravel and there may be some difficulties ahead, especially if Uranus goes into retrograde and passes over the same area again.  If it does go retrograde, it will take some time for things to settle as it will hit your North Node three times. The most challenging time is Uranus’ first pass over the placement. 

 

Transiting Uranus Opposition Natal North Node and Conjunct the South Node will bring about sudden changes likely brought on by others. Sometimes life must lead, and we must adapt to what it brings with it.  Letting go and moving forward may not be easy, but things happen for a reason. This is part of your destiny!

ENTHUSIASM OF A CHILD

In our early days, we live to experience and each moment in time is filled with enthusiasm.  We are wrapped in each and every experience without question, completely focused and content in the moment. Watch a children closely at how “in the moment” they live.

 

As we move into adolescence we are still very much wrapped up in the moment although now we look forward to milestones and make plans for our future. We are still quite enthusiastic about life, venturing forth with great vigor and eagerness. 

 

As we enter adulthood, we begin to enjoy our independence.  Some of us chose to begin our own families and become focused on our careers and new financial obligations.  If we have chose the family journey, we now have others to think about and support and begin preparing for what might occur in our future.  We become more focused on possibilities and live not only in the moment but also in the future. We need to keep checking our attitude.

 

By middle age, we reflect our life experiences in our personality not only because of those we have met and our life situations but also because of our attitude.  We have been preparing for our future saving money, paying off debt, gathering material abundance and experiencing.  Plan for the future but don’t lose your soul to it!

 

If we had a family, our children eventually enter their own stage of independence, and we can start to focus more on self.  It’s not that we care less but that we allow them to mature and grow.  It is important that we have time to enjoy the fruits of our labors, so we begin to explore more of what life offers on a personal level. 

 

Hopefully we are all blessed with what may be called the “evening” or “winter” of our lives.  We let go of our need to squirrel away money and learn to relax and focus more on the things that we enjoy in life.  There should be relief of some sort that retirement does not mean we are old and unable.  Quite the opposite for many of us.  We all carry forward, each one of us in different directions, some mastering techniques that we have been nurturing throughout life and others branching in new directions learning new things. 

 

This stage in life does not have to be an ending at all.  It feels more like a beginning and excitement is still there for those that allow.  Some may suffer from a belief that retirement means it’s all over, but most of us chose to do and experience whatever excites us.

 

Our lives are filled with experiences that foster in change at all stages. Who we were years ago is still a part of our consciousness, but we have changed dynamically and hopefully learned from each experience.  We are here to experience life to the fullest and enjoy what is in front of us. 

 

Life is magical and is perpetually changing. No matter what stage you are experiencing, remember to live and enjoy. Never lose the enthusiasm of a child living in the moment.  Every experience should excite you!

AQUARIUS FULL MOON 2025

 

 

As mentioned in our articles yesterday on aspects to the Full Moon August, 2025, on Saturday, August 9, 2025, we will experience a Full Moon in the sign of Aquarius at 17°.  Read more about the two kite configurations that will have an undeniable influence on those individuals that the kite configurations are activated in their charts: https://www.holmastrology.com/post/full-moon-aspects-august-2025

 

The energies of a Full Moon evolve around the completion of a cycle, and this is when we reap the rewards of our efforts for goals set when the New Moon was in the same sign some six months ago previous.  Again with this Full Moon, the sign of influence is Aquarius.  During the energies of a Full Moon is also the time for letting go of any old, outdated expressions or ways of living and moving forward in a new direction.

 

This Full Moon will affect those with planets in their natal chart that are either Conjunct or in Opposition within a 3° orb to the position of the Full Moon (again 17° Aquarius).  To simplify, we are strictly focusing on the Full Moon itself in this article and not the two kit configurations. 

 

Due to the influence of Aquarius and its ruling planet being Uranus, this can be a time of deep-seated change which, by some, could be considered radical in its expression.  This may come due to a sudden unexpected realization that the way things have been now need revitalized or a new, and different approach.

 

Not only is this energy personal but because this Full Moon is in the sign of Aquarius (the most humanitarian sign of the Zodiac), it will also influence mankind on some level.  How has your approach to your personal life made a difference in the lives of others? 

 

What do you now need to leave behind to formulate a plan that fosters change that is so needed in our world? 

 

Change begins at home and within the framework of your own personal circle and then spreads outward because of the ripple effect.

Aquarius brings needed change, often disruptive and unexpected due to its ruler Uranus, but the change that is required is often recognized by us beforehand. We are provided with time to make the required changes and if we don’t address the situation then quite often the change comes at us from all different directions, and the energy of the change may not be as enjoyable because it is forced on us.

 

With the Aquarius Full Moon 2025, it is important to act and make changes when the requirement is first recognized. Take the initiative so that the change is not forced on you.

FULL MOON ASPECTS AUGUST, 2025

We are going to focus on the aspects to the Full Moon we will experience on August 9, 2025. Watch for our post August 6, 2025, for more details on the Full Moon’s energies specifically.

 

The current aspects form a Kite configuration.  See the blue lines (trines and sextiles) in the chart picture included.  Although this configuration does not directly affect the Full Moon’s placement which is at 17° in the sign of Aquarius, this Kite formation will have a profound effect on many because of the tight configuration in the early degrees of several planets.

 

The chart diagram shows the configuration which is in effect for approximately 10 days from August 5 to August 15. The most powerful time will be when the Full Moon is in effect on August 9, 2025.  Anyone having their birthday in or around this date will have this configuration in their Solar Chart. This influence will last approximately one year. Use an orb of about 3° influence.

 

Because of the influence of the Grand Air Trine on this configuration, there is often a hint of good luck, potential for personal growth and opportunities attached to those individuals with this configuration affecting their chart.  This is a powerful placement and can enhance your life’s goals, affect personal relationships, development in many areas (depending on the house positions) and speaks of individual strength because of the added influence of the Opposition (red line in the centre) forming the Kite.

 

The focal planet in our highlighted kite formation is the conjunction between Saturn and Neptune at 1° in the sign of Aries.  Aries’ energies are about personal push and aggressive action because personal change is required.  Saturn suggests that this will likely not be easy, while Neptune suggests that something spiritual or enlightening has potential to enhance the situation and create a needed change that can affect your personal journey towards an awakening of some sort.

 

The Sextiles from Uranus and Pluto are powerful indicators that something needs to change and likely in very dynamic ways.  There might be ego struggles, power implications, a requirement for you to push in a new direction and a strong belief that you can make a difference even if it is only in a minor manner.  Some individuals can make major changes, especially those in positions of power, because, don’t forget, this configuration creates energies affecting everyone worldwide who have these planets making contact especially in the early degrees.  The configuration is a very tight one (close in aspect to one another) and suggests urgency and a powerful impact.

 

The Opposition between Saturn/Neptune and Mars is the driving force behind what unfolds.  In many cases, the highlighted Kite, although offering some favorable outcomes because of the opposition especially from Mars, there is potential for disruption and power struggles.  The final outcome is likely to take some time to come together, and we will have to be patient. Patience, however, is not normal when Aries and Mars are involved.

 

Change is due, and we all know this is true.

 

The Full Moon aspects in August, 2025, are unique forming two kite formations. Use these energies to create the change that you need and create something of value on a personal level. Hopefully, leaders throughout the world will respond in kind and make beneficial changes as well.   

 

You will also note that there is a kite formation involving Mercury which is not part of the highlighted lines in our picture.  Mercury will help with decision making in the second kite formation.  Because of Mercury’s opposition to Pluto, transformations are powerfully indicated.

URANUS SEXTILE NATAL NORTH NODE

Transiting Uranus entered the sign of Gemini on July 7th, 2025, and due to retrograde motion, will have its final stay in Taurus from November 8th, 2025, through April 26th, 2026. Those with their North Node in Aries or in Leo will experience a Sextile from transiting Uranus to their North Node. 

 

The Transit of Uranus takes about 7 years to move through each astrological sign, so over approximately the next 7-8 years, Uranus will Sextile all those with their North Node in these two signs.  It will also trine the South Node’s position for those with their Nodes in the positions set out here.  (NN-Aries, SN-Libra, NN-Leo, SN-Aquarius).

 

Uranus, known for its free-thinking, original and often eccentric behavior, will be comfortable in the sign of Gemini, as Gemini is also a freethinker. Gemini can be original and has been known to act eccentrically and in its own manner.  Deep evolutionary thinking will most certainly be part of the process while Uranus is in Gemini.  Hopefully the humanitarian link of Uranus will have a kinder, more gentle expression while moving through Gemini.

 

In brief, (you can find greater detailed accounts at www.holmastrology.com), Aries North Node suggests that in this life you must stand on your own, working on private enterprises and self-development.  You are not to rely on others in your ventures and you need to address anything that stands in the way of progress or self-denial. 

 

With a North Node in Leo, you are here in a similar fashion, although you will likely not work on your own, but welcome others into your plans for achievement and you will gain recognition for your effort. 

 

Uranus will likely provide outlets that will assist in whatever adventure you are involved with and will also offer insight into any change that needs to take place to move in a certain direction where advancement is essential.  Uranus will provide the push, and sometimes in unexpected ways or in sudden eye-opening experiences, because you need to move out of complacency and address anything that requires your attention.

 

Sextiles are opportunity aspects but, in most cases, they require you to push forward and take the initiative.  Both Aries and Leo have no problem with taking the initiative, especially Aries, but it will be important to realize that you should think before you jump and that the moves you make will enhance life down the road provided you are working under the right conditions.  The other transiting planets in your chart will give you more insight into how your ventures may unfold.

 

With Uranus sextile natal North Node, think before you act. Do not act on impulse and know that generally these energies will take you exactly where you need to go but effort on your part is required.

THE CONQUEST OF SELF

Conquest or perhaps mastery might be a better definition of our focus today.

 

Our awakening can be a tedious process unlocking and facing hidden facets of ourselves.  Remember, however, no one is perfect!  The more we experience life, the most we can accept this.

 

Many of us spend too much time analyzing what is wrong with those around us and do not pay attention to what needs revamping within ourselves.

 

We must remain open and compassionate on how we view others.  We have not walked an inch in their shoes. 

 

In reviewing ourselves, we will find traits that are not pleasing to us or to those around us.  Why had we not seen these traits before?

 

How can we be blind to parts of ourselves?

 

The answers to these questions are not nearly as important as the importance of recognizing our true selves and seeking solutions to tweak, if necessary, what has been revealed. Today, we are not the same person as we were yesterday. Let go of the past and embrace the now. Be kind to yourself, and forgiving for that matter.

 

It is irrelevant what others think of us, but self-awareness is essential.

 

During these evolutionary periods, it will be important not only to take heed to our realizations but to act on them. What good is knowledge if not utilized?

 

Remember, however, to also take note of our pleasing attributes as they too must be recognized and celebrated.  Some things will need adjustments; other things are perfect the way they are. 

 

The conquest of self includes an honest and whole-hearted inner examination.  This will reveal what we need to know so we can move forward in gratitude and make changes where needed, no matter how difficult it may be. Commit to your evolution. Allow the real you to surface (as what we want is already a part of us). We would not be aware of these wishes or traits if they did not already exist.

SATURN TRINE NATAL JUPITER

Although when Saturn makes an aspect in your Natal Chart it is usually an indicator of challenges on some level, when it makes a Trine (and especially with Jupiter) there can be opportunities for stability, structure and reliability. 

 

Although hard work is part of the equation, Jupiter tends to alleviate some of the struggles that are associated with Saturn. This can be especially true if Saturn while in transit has been making challenging aspects to other areas of your Natal chart for some time.  Jupiter can bring an end to these difficulties, especially if you have been working diligently at whatever Saturn has been calling for (as indicated in your chart). Jupiter can bring expansion, more favorable conditions and an easier flow as it receives contact from Saturn through the Trine.

 

There may, however, be a feeling of questioning whether or not you should be moving ahead perhaps leaving something behind which has served its purpose, but you have outgrown. 

 

There will be a feeling of stopping and going with these energies and potential worries that things might not pan out as you want them to turn out.  You may worry about the consequence of the change that is contemplated and feel perhaps it is better to not make the change and stay the course.

 

Much will depend on where Natal Jupiter is situated by house position and by natal planetary alignments in your chart. 

 

If, for example, natal Jupiter is in the fourth house in your birth chart, good luck and growth on some level is indicated within the family and the home as it is touched by other transits.  When Saturn hits this position and by Trine such as in our post example, we may decide to buy a home or rent a house for the first time. To build on this example, if transiting Saturn is in the seventh house, then a relationship of significance could be behind the push at this time.  Perhaps a new relationship is forming, and you decide to move in together or it may be an ongoing relationship which has had its difficulties is now nearing its end.

 

Another example, if Saturn is transiting through the second house and Natal Jupiter is still in the fourth house then there may have been financial difficulties prior to this aspect and things might be getting better or stabilizing as Saturn trines natal Jupiter. This could also be related to the home or family.
