FULL MOON IN SCORPIO 2025

We will experience the energies of a Full Moon in Scorpio at 22° on May 12, 2025.

 

A full Moon is a time for releasing situations that no longer serve a sustainable purpose.  Things are no longer working, and it is time to purge in order that something new can be brought forward into life’s condition for the next new moon.

 

A Full Moon can also be a time to reap the rewards of the efforts you put into your goals since the New moon in the same sign as the Full moon some six months previously. In this case, the Scorpio new moon last October. The New moon is a time to plant a seed in life and the Full moon is the time to harvest the rewards of your hard work. The work that you have been doing over this period, depending on how much energy was applied, is now reaching a culmination point and you are ready for a change of direction.

 

Sometimes this affects relationships of significance because there have been too many disputes or misunderstandings, and a resolution is now a requirement, for example.  The tension has been high and, because we are speaking about the energies of Scorpio, transformations are at hand and regeneration should be part of the process.  You want change, and this often requires you to go deep within, being honest about what now surfaces or what has been surfacing over the past few months.  You must face things as they are. You can’t expect others to change even if their input would be appropriate. This is your responsibility.

 

We are not suggesting that it is a one-way street. Both parties need to communicate and resolve any discrepancies that might be in place and embrace potential change.  The truth will surface, and it will involve the release of deep emotional connectedness as Scorpio runs deep when it comes to emotion but tends to keep too much inside.  Release is what this Full Moon required as do all Full Moon energies. 

 

Again, this Full Moon in Scorpio, which is a fixed sign, is at 22°, and because Scorpio is so fixed, it may be hard to let down your guard and shift, but that is what is required.  We allow a 3° orb of influence to confirm if this position has any influence in your Natal Chart.  The Conjunction and Opposition are the strong aspects. 

 

This positioning of the Full Moon in Scorpio at 22° is a little out of orb with transiting Uranus which is close to 27° in Opposition to this placement in Taurus. It does suggest, however, that the required change may come suddenly and unexpectedly and may cause disruption and some turmoil. Uranus, however, opens the door for change especially when things have either gone dormant or no longer work. Its energy will assist in the required change although it may happen in a somewhat disruptive manner.

 

With the Full Moon in Scorpio 2025, open the door and move forward with anticipation that a great change is taking hold in life and will take you to where you need to go.  It may take some time to realize that this move was required, and it may also take some time before things really settle in, but they will.  No matter how disruptive this may be, be honest and allow the truth to surface as this will have profound effects.  Intuition and psychic potential may be strong for those that are connected in these areas, and they can be a guiding force as you begin unlocking what has been hidden for some time.

FULL MOON IN LEO 2025

On February 12, 2025, we will be experiencing a Full Moon, (which is the culmination point of events started when the Leo New Moon six months ago) in the sign of Leo at 24°.  Because this placement is in the second decant, there will not only be an influence of Leo’s energies but also some influence by Sagittarius’ energies as well.

 

Full Moons and New Moons have emotional in nature and play with our sensitivities.  They bring things to the surface.  Again, the Full Moon is the harvest time of whatever began during the New Moon stage, so we now reap the rewards of our efforts over the past six months.

 

Emotions now likely run high, and this will be the time to correlate any unresolved issues and look at what we have done to bring them to the surface and deal with them head on.  Because this Full Moon is in the sign of Leo, matters of the heart will be a part of the energies.  You may now find that awareness comes to the surface, and you feel that you are in the know. As a result, you want to express yourself clearly and concisely.  You are open to dialogue, and everything comes from the heart.  For some, this may be difficult as they normally keep things inside, but now is the time to let them out and be open and honest.

 

Because of the issues of the heart, and if you happen to be in a relationship, this will be the time to either step things forward or hold back and retreat.  There may be risks in matters related to love and affection, and you may feel that you know best.  Things may not go smoothly, and you can expect the unexpected.  This is largely due to the Square from Uranus. Since during a Full Moon the Sun and Moon are always in opposition to one another, Uranus’ square is also square to both the Sun and Moon creating a T-square.

 

A T-square suggests things are out of balance, and because Uranus is involved, something new needs to take hold.  A revelation due to Uranus’ energies may come as a complete surprise or somehow be unexpected, but over time, you will begin to realize that the energy in place will push you in the direction that is required.  Uranus says, “wake up, it’s time to take notice and do something about it”.  Uranus is known as the awakener and pushes us out of complacency and asks for change, but if we do not move in that particular direction, Uranus will force us into it.

 

Something is missing, and once you pay closer attention, you will see whatever is missing is what is creating this imbalance. This is why change is essential.  The actual change does not have to be complete and total, as, sometimes only a minor change of attitude or direction is all that is required. In other cases, however, there is a strong need to move in a different direction. (A complete look at the Astrology chart will explain the extend of the change).  This will likely not be an easy solution, but pay heed, as what needs to change will be changed one way or another, with or without your consent.

 

Again, much will depend on the overall condition of the birth chart currently, including the aspects from the transiting planets to other planets and important angles during this time frame.

 

The Full Moon in Leo 2025 will involve issues of the heart. Emotions will run deep and due to Uranus’ influence, there may be a need for change, which can be unexpected. It is time for an awakening.

FULL MOON DECEMBER 15, 2024

On December 15, 2024, we will be experiencing a Full Moon at 24° in the sign Gemini, the twins.  With the Gemini influence there are always at least two roads to choose from.  In some cases, they are completely different paths.  In other cases, they are linked with each other.  Much will depend on the areas of life determined by the Astrological house position of this Full Moon in your chart (which is, once again, 24° Gemini).

 

Gemini is about versatility and diversity and being able to change directions in a moment’s notice.  It is also about the need to remain steadfast once you make up your mind although this can be challenging, so as you can see, immediately there are choices to make, and fortunately, we can adapt to our decisions.  We can also go with the flow suggesting that we can adapt more easily to circumstances which may be determined by our course of action. 

 

This interchange of ideas or circumstance began some six months ago when the New Moon was in the sign of Gemini, and now we have reached a culmination point where we will need to decide to continue or change direction based on what has been leading up to this point in time.  We have likely been feeling the energy concluding in the past two weeks and may have an idea which road we wish to take.  Preparation since the New Moon over the past six months was key.

 

You will need to have planets within about 3° of this placement either by Conjunction, Opposition and to a lesser degree by Square, Trine or Sextile.  The Conjunction and Opposition are by far the most significant aspects to influence this energy. 

 

Fortunately, we also have a Grand Fire Trine that might help in our decision making as it will force us into action and help us to connect to our best choices.  Sometimes the choices we make do not look overly pleasing or we may not know where these choices will take us. Under most conditions, the road we choose to pursue will take us to where we need to go regardless of where that might be.

 

This Grand Fire Trine incorporates the energies of Mars, which will be the driving force, Mercury which will incorporate our decision making and is tied to the sign Gemini and the North Node which often indicates that an important figure is part of this process. It also indicates that the path ahead is significant in nature. 

 

This Grand Trine will help with an easier flow and may present us with opportunities and good luck in our decision making although the rest of the chart will, of course, play into what unfolds. 

The December 15, 2024 Full Moon in Gemini will provide us with different roads to choose from and the Grand Fire Trine will push us into action and offer easy flow and opportunity. Stick to it once you have made your decision.

 

You can expect the energies to influence our chart some two weeks prior to December 15 and last approximately one month after being exact.  Use the energies well and move ahead not allowing your mind and misconceptions to stand in the way.

FULL MOON IN SAGITTARIUS

On May 23, 2024, we will be experiencing the Full Moon in the sign of Sagittarius at 2° at 9:53 a.m. EDT. 

 

Those individuals that have planets especially by conjunction or opposition to this placement in their natal charts will be affected by this, the Sagittarius Full Moon.  You can give yourself a 3° orb of influence so planets 0° to 4 ° in Sagittarius or 0 to 4° in Gemini and back to the 29 ° of Taurus and Scorpio will have an impact. 

 

This Full Moon brings to focus the higher principles of life.  It can deal with your life’s philosophy, your religious outlook, your spiritual beliefs and the education of life that begins with your attitude about what the plan is for you.  The house position along with the planets or angles in question will play significant roles with the energies available.  The house positions, as the Full Moon has the Sun and Moon in opposition, will determine the areas of life involved and the planetary energies or the angle (if this is part of the picture) will combine and enhance the equation.

 

The Full Moon speaks about what began approximately 6 months ago and is now reaching its culmination point.  What started at that time, depending on the efforts used will now either enhance your life or will need to be revised or let go of in order for your to advance in life. 

 

If connected to the MC angle, for example, this may speak directly about goals and achievements especially related to your occupation and how this affects your home life and family.  If on the Ascendant, for example, this will deal primarily with a personal connection and have something to do with a relationship of importance, often the partner.  We do not have enough space or time here to incorporate all the other potentials. 

 

Plute, the planet of regeneration and transformation, is in the sign of Aquarius and currently (May 2024) is around 2°, making a sextile to the positioning of the Full Moon.  Pluto is currently in its retrograde cycle and turns direct on October 12, 2024.  During its retrograde cycle, Pluto’s energies are not working to their full capacity.  After the October date when Plut turns direct again, its energies are working to their full capacity.  During the retrograde cycle, this may be a time of regeneration but may be from a deep and personal perspective.  Once it goes direct, this may be the time when you begin to see how your life was transformed and what Pluto’s objectives might have been.

 

The emotional makeup is part of the picture, and with a Sagittarius perspective, you might believe or work towards making things better and there is a potential that you will find what you are wanting to find.  Sagittarius is very optimistic in its approach to life and looks to expand and make things better over time by looking at things from a realistic approach and knowing that the mind’s focus is of extreme importance.

 

The sextile from Pluto to this Lunar placement speaks of opportunities and is considered a favorable aspect which often suggests that things could fall directly in your hands, although it is always suggested that we work towards making things happen to our advantage and not just wait for them to happen.  Sometimes without working at our hopes and wishes, things do not work as favorably as they otherwise could have.  These energies are quite positive and should be used accordingly. 

 

In a nutshell, with the Full Moon in Sagittarius, work towards improvement both emotionally and physically. Be positive and take advantage of the opportunities at hand.
