When Transiting Jupiter makes a Sextile to its Natal position in your birth chart, this will be a time of strong potential for advancing action in life.  The life area involved is determined by Jupiter’s natal house position in your chart as well as the house position transiting Jupiter is moving through. 

 

The prospect potential in the birth chart is determined by the aspects from planets and angles to Jupiter within the Natal Chart.  The reason for the term potential is that all aspects in the birth chart, regardless of whether challenged or not, can provide the impetus for gain and lessons well learned.  Some aspect’s energies are much more difficult to maneuver through.  Because of this, we often experience turmoil in these areas of life, but we will learn valuable lessons from these experiences.

 

Any experience within the natal chart must come from the energies of transit or progressions.  Otherwise, the potential written within the birth chart sits dormant.

When Jupiter reaches its own Natal position by aspect these potentials are heightened and much can be achieved during the aspect contact.  The Sextile implies opportunities in these areas determined by the houses involved, but they work much more favourably when we assert ourselves.  Little to no improvement will be accomplished if we choose to sit back and not act on the energies during this highly anticipated life event timing.

 

Using these energies is highly suggested. Examine not only the houses involved in the equation but also the signs involved.  The houses are the areas of life involved, the planets signify the energies involved, and the signs suggest how these can be applied.

Any dream or goal starts with planning but the most important thing to do is taking that first step.

 

Why not start now?

 

As a matter of fact, the longer we hold off, the greater the likelihood of our mind getting in the way and we talk ourselves out of moving forward. The mind tends to interfere with plans. Some call this egoic interference.

 

Where do you begin?

 

We begin with the planning and define what we are hoping to achieve.  Be specific! Do not overwhelm yourself with large ideas.  Build from the ground up.  Start small and have no expectations, positive or negative because “the universe” knows what it is that you need.

 

What is your focus….love, peace, comfort?

 

If you wish is money, is it really money you want.  Might you want comfort, security, freedom, happiness?

 

The ways our hopes and wishes manifest are endless but have no judgement on whether or not this is right for you. Know that what you wish to manifest in your life will help along the way and open doors in the future.

 

As mentioned, the mind will attempt to interfere with these objectives.  There may be thoughts that suggest failure on some level, or that you don’t deserve this outcome. Anything realistic is attainable and it is only the mind’s interference that begins the process of holding us back from achieving our goals.

 

Ego can work in several ways.  It can assist us or hold us back.  It uses many methods and, in most cases, the quiet little voice that is a positive push is the one we need to listen to.  Positivity is never forced on us and it does not guarantee results but it certainly makes the journey more enjoyable and opens many more doors than negativity.

 

Be patient and learn from your experience.  You can learn a lot about yourself. Are you filled with determination or the lack thereof? 

 

The road may not be direct or easy. It has taken us a lifetime this far to reach our current point on the road of life. Remember, belief structure and expectations are the ingredients that either work with us or hold us back, in some cases stifle us completely. 

 

Believe in yourself.  Know that anything can happen. Have faith in the process.  Be diligent, learn patience and grow from all experiences. 

 

Once you begin to realize small results from your steady work towards building the future you always wanted, the rest seems to follow far more rapidly. Step forward!

A LEARNING EXPERIENCE

Life is ever changing and offers experiences as it develops. We, at times, move through a life adventure seeking something of value and other times, are so absorbed in our heads/thoughts, that the events pass us by with little to no awareness from us.

 

When we are in the moment, these events bring with them much excitement, pleasure and/or learning potential, but if and when we are experiencing life on the surface or without focus, we gain little insight. 

 

The key to getting the most out of life seems to be to live in the moment and experience completely each and every event that life sends our way.  We tend to judge each event particularly by its monetary value. Judgment, however, is only a concept of what we believe has significance. 

 

Each experience teaches us something.  Each experience tells us something of ourselves.  Some individuals live to experience life, while some just pass through life experiencing the mundane and having no interest in what life is teaching or offering them. 

 

There are bits in life that are tragic, and these events can send us down roads that we wish we did not have to travel.  There are also events in life when everything seems to be miraculous, and life feels as though it teems with wonder and excitement. Oh, the influence of attitude!

 

We move through life, moment by moment, with great expectations at times and without any expectations at other times.  Perhaps it is best to have no expectations as sometimes we experience failure, sadness, despair due to our expectations.  We do, however, need to set goals for ourselves but with flexibility so that we can adapt with our ever-changing circumstances. 

 

Every passage in life prepares us for what is to come next or for what potentially lies in the future.  A bad experience (which is an opinion) does not necessarily mean that life will now always be stressful. This experience was a lesson from which we can grow and improve.

 

What we focus on, we magnify. If you focus on stress, then you will magnify the stress in your life. If you focus on gratitude and appreciation, then you will magnify gratitude and appreciation.

 

We really do not know what life’s lessons will bring, but we do have options on the way we perceive what life is presenting. 

 

Looking at life as a learning experience places “the lesson” in focus which fosters growth and development. With this focus, you are provided with a learning tool which has value.

SIGNIFICATORS OF CHANGE

Change is a guarantee in life. Sometimes change requires our participation and other times, change just happens.  It is my opinion that change happens because change is due.

 

There are times when we just know that our lives will take huge turns because of outside influences.  In some cases, who we become after the turn of events would be unrecognizable to our earlier self.  Significant changes occur especially when we are younger and learning the basics, when we morph into adults and again, later in life when we develop into mature adults.

 

If we were to look back even five years, we are not who we were then.  Our core identity, deep within, however, never seems to change. It just expands. 

 

Some of us refer to these changes as levels of enlightenment and awakening.  Some find that our destiny just seems to mold us.

 

Life circumstances change and we adjust.  Relationships change, occupation can change, lifestyle and appearances will change.  We either adapt or struggle with what life presents to us.  Sometimes life makes suggestions (or should I say insists) for change and we can’t ignore it. We get little hints that these changes are required along the way.  With these hints, we can dig deep into ourselves to rediscover or recognize who we are and what we are becoming to facilitate adjustments to enhance this masterpiece. If required, we can completely change direction and start anew, if need be.

 

Change is inevitable. We can decide to take that leap of faith and trust life with the changes it is presenting. Believe that change is for the better even when it does not look that way initially.

 

We must learn when to move ahead and when to stay where we are. We often get glimpses of what potential lies ahead.  We are not at the mercy of life as we can adapt and change with the circumstances. We are at the mercy of what we decide to take on as our own and our attitude towards life’s blessings and its lessons.

DO NOT BE DISMAYED

At times, we can feel alone, disenchanted, unloved and we feel abandoned.  This can be especially true around the holidays or when we are comparing ourselves to others.  We can become distressed, unorganized, worried, and anxious about where life is taking us or not taking us.  We wish for a glimmering hope of better days ahead.

 

We wonder if things will ever shift, and this is when most of us decide to find our way out. The first step would be to face these issues head on. Dive deep! Where do these issues stem from and what are they teaching us?

 

Push yourself to take the first step.

 

Challenges can feel like we made a wrong turn but there are no wrong turns in life. While in the midst of a challenge, especially one that we are trying to hide from, this concept may be difficult to understand let alone accept.  But running away from issues is not the easy way. More often than not, the issue keeps resurfacing.  It will persist until we have learned the lesson at hand.

 

If we dig in and are determined, we gain strength, self-confidence, valuable insight and knowledge from the experience.  All things pass, and if we persevere and push ourselves, the lessons are learned and our reality (or maybe our perspective) shifts.

 

Stand your ground as you are stronger than you think.  You will reap the rewards from your challenges even during those times it feels as though it is just one thing after another.  Sometimes life goes this way when you want it to go that way but life continually shifts. There is always valuable information and growth on the other side of life’s lessons.

 

Do not be dismayed.  You can and will make your way through.  Dig in and take charge!

OUR MIND CAN TELL US ANYTHING

Many of us live our lives in worry and fear and are drawn in by thoughts of failure, not being good enough, not living up to our own expectations or the expectations of others, or any other way of thinking that diminishes our value and our life’s experience. 

 

Recognize that you are not your thoughts; you are the one listening to your thoughts.  Our mind can tell us anything. Our mind can change the story over and over in a blink of an eye. You can either get caught up in the stories, or you can take what is relevant and use it for the benefit of your overall development and experience.

 This is not to say that by ignoring our mind’s chatter that we can escape our life’s lessons and circumstances. Life happens but we can choose how we respond to lessons and circumstances. We can allow them to rule our waking moments (and dreams for that matter), or we can rise above these invasive, non-productive thoughts simply by acknowledging them and then releasing them.

 

We do not have to be captives of our thought patterns. Recognizing these thoughts and where they are leading you is the first step to changing your focus or perspective.  Your life experience is truly all about perspective.  Your thoughts are something you experience but they are not you.

 

Take safety measures to remind yourself that you are only the listener. You decide if you hold on to the message or let it go.  Life happens but you are in control of your reaction and your focus. Change your attitude (focus), change your life.

PERIODIC SEGMENTS

You likely recall times in the past when you felt like you were moving to another level of consciousness, awakening to a new way of understanding and/or renewing with vigor with some of the things you had left behind. You may have experienced times when something comes along and creates a shift in life and a newfound freedom or newfound peace of mind. 

 

Some of these periodic segments in life that brought change may have been lasting or short lived but no matter their length, they taught you something very relevant and lasting. Life’s experiences can be completely life altering, bringing an end to certain conditions only to open doors to new and wonderful experiences.  These shifts open our eyes to new realities and bring into fruition what, in many cases, was needed at that time in life.

 

Are we at the mercy of life? 

 

Do we have choices? 

 

At times life does dictate and we feel at the mercy of circumstance. We see it all around us affecting those people who just seem to fall through the cracks or who just seem to be in the right or wrong place at the right or wrong time.

 

There are shifts throughout our life’s course that we will need to adjust to and familiarize ourselves with.  Some wonderful and some not so wonderful.  If we go deep within and ask ourselves what purpose might these events, enjoyable or stressful, have for our overall development, we will likely find the answers. There will be times we simply will not understand the “why” but will have to go with the flow and not swim against life’s current.

 

Accept life for what it is.  Appreciate your lessons and experiences; knowing that on some level valuable information is found within each of these events.  When life is going well, appreciate it fully and disregard what you may feel is missing. Focusing on the missing or on failures serves no positive purpose. It simply creates a focus on hardships and lacking. Your focus creates your reality. Be determined to learn and move through any adversity that befalls you.  You are stronger than you realize, after all, you made it this far so what are you truly capable of doing now?

 

Life moves quickly and we are here to experience it.  We are spirit living in a physical body, and we have profound knowledge within. Why do we place limits on ourselves?
