PLUTO CONJUNCT NATAL NORTH NODE IN AQUARIUS

As Pluto’s energies can often be felt by as much as 3° prior to when it becomes direct, those with their North Node in the sign of Aquarius would have been feeling a shift in their drive and their life’s course for about 3 years.  Pluto’s final and lasting path into Aquarius will take place November 20, 2024. 

 

Pluto will slowly make its way through Aquarius over the next 24 years.  During this time, it will contact everyone who has their North Node in the sign of Aquarius depending on what degree your North Node falls.  This influence can last several years and take some time before you recognize that your path in life has gone through a metamorphosis.

FULL MOON IN AQUARIUS 2024

On Monday, the 19th of August, we will experience a Full Moon in the sign of Aquarius at 27°. This will be precise at 2:25 p.m. EDT. 

 

A Full Moon occurs when the Sun and the Moon are exactly opposite one another. 

 

This Full Moon, if making contact in your chart, will raise your responsiveness and open doors for you to receive understanding of what is happening in your life.  This information is not something new as it has likely been in your awareness for some time.  You may now receive clarity under this influence as you are receiving information either from within or from outside influences.

 

The Full Moon’s cycle is active for three days and allows you to delve into how you have been addressing mental activities.  Have you been self-destructive? 

 What now needs your attention? 

 

In many cases, this awareness was first noted when the New Moon was in the same sign of Aquarius some six months ago.  If the Full Moon is influencing your chart, the contact should be within 3° on either side of a planet or angle in your birth chart.  So, for instance, this Full Moon is at 27° Aquarius so either by conjunction (0°), opposition (180°) or square (90°), it needs to be within the 3° range either before the 27 degrees or after.  Trines (120°) and Sextiles (60°) are also activated but their energies are not as noticeable.

 

The Full Moon is the culmination of what was put in place when the New Moon was in Aquarius some six months ago on February 9, 2024.  The Full Moon in Aquarius may have something to do with fellowship and awareness.  Brotherhood and new beginnings sometimes come to us when they are unexpected, and over time, they change our course.  This is an evolutionary position and often an awakening period.  It could have something to do with future endeavors associated with the house placement of this Full Moon in your chart. 

 

This can have a profound effect on your emotional and psychological state because often we need to let go of something.  Beware of unexpected, undesirable reactions. These can come at the most unexpected times or in the most unusual ways.  This is not only due to the placement of the Moon in Aquarius but also because this placement is making a Square to Transiting Uranus which currently is at 27° in the sign of Taurus. 

 

Mercury and the Sun are in opposition to the Moon which makes this a time when others may be making us aware that changes need to take place. Letting go is likely what needs to take place.

 

There will be a strong need to be able to express yourself in a clear and concise manner.  It will not matter how others feel about your personal expression, although you will have to take some time to reflect before expressing your opinions. 

 

When you move in the needed direction, you will find it much easier to understand your feelings although Aquarius has never been known for its emotions as it is much more tied to the intellectual mind.

 

Be ready for change as a result of this Full Moon in Aquarius which is likely linked with fellowship and awareness.  Brotherhood and new beginnings sometimes come to us when they are unexpected, and over time, they may change our course.

SUN IN AQUARIUS TRANSITS (2024)

Happy solar return to our Aquarius readers.

 

Let’s look at some of the Sun in Aquarius transits (2024) that may be affecting Aquarians during their next journey around the Sun. 

 The biggest and most powerful aspect affecting those with their Sun in the early degrees of Aquarius is the conjunction of Pluto to their Sun.  Depending on where your Sun is in the birth chart, this area of life is now subject to massive change.  What was in place previously is now subject to deep reflection creating inner changes as well as the likelihood of changes and transformations taking hold to the current path in life.

 

Some inner ego challenges are likely and the need for an honest look at your life will provide the answers to what is unfolding or needs to unfold as time passes.  This will likely be a long-term adjustment where something, from the past from an inner perspective affecting your life’s path, will undergo a needed change. You likely have been aware of this needed change for some time.  In many cases, what goes through such intense change will now changed on a permanent basis.

 

Conjunctions are powerful energies where planets mold with each other and needed change is brought forth.  Pluto suggests that something needs revamping as it no longer suits your evolutionary quest.  It is almost impossible to ignore. 

 

In this case, you are best to listen to the inner voice that is beginning to make itself heard. Go with the flow.  A big part of you knows or understands that you should now change paths on some level and move beyond of what no longer serves a viable purpose.  Look for other indicators in your chart with transits and progressions which will provide you with defined information.

 

Pluto can be quite disruptive, and it is likely that you will encounter some disputes perhaps from others or within yourself.  Ego intervention and potential arguments can be part of the process.  Pluto is a force you must listen to for an easier adjustment.

 

Jupiter and Uranus moving through Taurus will align closely in the later stages of March, through April and ending into early May.  This alignment will create change for those who have their Sun in Aquarius from around 14° to 26°.  This aspect of these planets will be emphasized as Jupiter tends to expand things but usually in positive terms.  Uranus is known as the awakener and brings forth much needed change as does Pluto (With Pluto the change is usually quite complete while Uranus changes what needs to change and can leave the rest untouched). 

 

An awakening of sorts takes hold and a move in a new direction is quite possible, especially for those who are going through the Uranus opposition (ages 39 to 43).  These changes might be unexpected or erratic, especially in the eyes of others, but they are needed as things have now become dormant and a new road is in sight.  Uranus always pushes us in directions that, over time, will be suitable for us.  In many cases, we are not sure exactly what that picture looks like now with Uranus and this can be upsetting to say the least.

 

This should be an interesting period for those with aspects to different areas of their chart affected by these positions.  Look to see how Pluto and the conjunction of Uranus and Jupiter affect your chart even if you are not an Aquarius.

 

Astrology points the way, but it is up to us if we take the advice and use it to its fullest potential.

SUN IN AQUARIUS

We move from the Cardinal, Earth sign of Capricorn on January 20, 2024 into the Fixed, Air sign of Aquarius. 

 

Aquarians are one of the most futuristic signs of the Zodiac.

 

Aquarians are known to be humanitarians, moral and visionaries and are often ahead of their time.  Their thinking is progressive and because of the influence of Uranus, their ruling planet, they are on the lookout for new ideas that can stimulate growth and a movement out of complacency or stagnation.  They push for the new and leave behind anything that no longer contributes to their evolution.

 

They can be rebellious and are considered somewhat eccentric in their approach to life.  Their radical thinking can be visionary for some or offbeat for others.  Their motto is “I know” and their approach, as time progresses, is to live their life to the of their best abilities offering insights and wisdom for those who wish to listen.

 

They are independent and do not wish to be tied down.  Freedom of expression and the ability to live life the way they feel fit is their objective.  If their ideas and viewpoints are obstructed or interfered with, they can become impatient and restless as they are quite fixed in their opinions.  They walk their own road and are not ashamed of their uniqueness. Their wish it to leave something behind after death that can be used in aiding humanity on some level.  Whether this is for an individual or for the masses is not important but the more people they can help to reach their potential, the better the Aquarian feels.

 

They have an adventurous spirit, are better in groups than with individuals and often have trouble expressing their feelings, as they are focused on the mind rather than attached to feelings.  This, in some cases, can make them appear cold.  This does not mean that the typical Aquarian is unemotional. It is important, however, to check the full birth chart, especially the Moon, to get a complete picture of an individual’s emotional influences.
