LET GO AND ALLOW

Does it seem as though no matter how hard you try, you always seem to fall short? 

 

Do you feel stuck?

 

You know that sooner or later that feeling dissipates but the time must be ripe to move ahead.

Right now, it may not feel as though you will ever get through this period in life, and it may even seem to have been in place for so long that it now almost feels comfortable.  Sooner or later, however, life takes a turn, and a shift takes place. Sometimes, you must let go and allow before change starts to take place.

 

It is futile to push yourself if you are not ready. 

 

How will you know when the time is right? 

 

You don’t pick the time; the time picks you.  So let go of what you think you need to do and let life lead.  Allow the time to ripen before you “pick” your time to take that step.

 

Letting go is the hardest thing to do.  It is not giving up. It is recognizing that something outside of self also has input.  You will feel the shift. It can come out of nowhere.

 

Have faith in the process and allow.  Life always takes us where we need to go.

NEPTUNE SQUARE NATAL NEPTUNE

Transiting Neptune squaring its natal position is a generational aspect affecting many individuals.  This is due to its slow movement. Neptune stays about 14 years in each sign affecting all those individuals with their Natal Neptune in that particular sign of the Zodiac.  It can remain in some signs a little longer due to its retrograde cycle.  Neptune takes 164 years to make a full cycle around the Zodiac.

 

When it comes to the energies of Neptune, the areas affected by transiting Neptune squaring to its natal position will differ due to the placement of Transiting Neptune and Natal Neptune in their respective houses.  The houses involved will be the areas of life affected by the energies which can last as much as three years, but the intensity becomes more relevant as Transiting Neptune approaches the direct degree of Natal Neptune. This usually lasts about 12 to 18 months depending, again, on any retrograde movement.

 

Neptune in Square suggests that the energies are difficult to handle, and clarity is an important factor in determining which way to move forward or to adjust.  The square aspect is challenging enough, however, that under most conditions, it forces you into action. As a result, the desire is strong to find a solution.  Neptune can fog our imagination and causes us to see things unclearly.  In many cases, a close friend or family member can be of assistance to help us find clarity.  In some cases, you may want to seek professional advice to figure out how best to deal with the situation. 

 

Neptune can also bring visions, prophetic dreams, and insight, but you must be sure that what you are experiencing is real.  There can be mystical understanding after these reviews and enlightening experiences after some strife and confusion.  Confusion and dismay are often apparent during this contact, and although difficult to handle, the energies usually clear up about 2 degrees after the aspect has been direct. To give an example, let’s say Neptune is at 25° in the second house natally, and as Neptune transits this position, things usually become clearer at around 27°.

 

Much will depend on if Neptune goes retrograde inside these degrees to calculate how long these energies will be present.  The first impact when direct (so moving across the examples area at of 25°) will be the strongest and when Neptune moves into retrograde motion (if it does) the last time it moves in direct motion over the same degree will signify that these energies are coming to an end.

 

Using the same example, these issues would likely have to do with financial security or security as a whole.  Depending on where transiting Neptune is (which will be approximately 90° away from the natal position) you can also be affected by 12^th house matters or 5^th house matters.  The 5^th house affects security due to your children’s concerns, your romantic involvement, your creative expression, and the enjoyment of life.  In the 12^th house, this could mean the need to bring things to the surface because they have not been dealt with or subconscious involvement that may need to be addressed.  It may also involve hospitals, places of confinement and the psychic realm.

 

This is a short and specific explanation for Neptune square Neptune but the whole chart needs to be deciphered to get the full picture.

BEGINNER'S ASTROLOGY COURSE

We are reaching out because you previously mentioned you were interested in taking classes with Holm Astrology

 

Holm Astrology will be offering our 9 class Beginner’s Astrology course commencing April 8 and finishing June 24 (no classes April 22 & 29 and May 20), if there are sufficient students.  We require a minimum of three students

 

All classes start promptly at 7 p.m.  There will be 2 hours of lessons and one-half hour of questions and answers following each class. 

 

Classes are held 15 minutes north of Barrie. For those of your who have not been to our home, our address will be provided upon registration. 

 

Classes are $25 each payable before commencement of each class.  This fee includes any handout for the class, if applicable, and digital lesson notes after each class is completed.  If you choose to pay for the course in full prior to its commencement, we offer a reduced rate from $225 to $200.  Payments can be made via invoice (debit, visa, mastercard, amex), Paypal or etransfer in advance or cash at the first class.

MINDFULNESS OR IMPULSE

Life comes with many rules.  Some seem reasonable and others, it is hard to understand why they are in place.

 

There will be times when we know it is essential to speak up to help change our lives, our world or specific situations in our life for the better.  Parents, management, government, etc. that set the rules can be rigid and steadfast to old rules, but it is imperative to find ways to share our thoughts, especially in ways not to ruffle egos if we want to be heard.  Acting on impulse may not be the best way. After all, change is what we want, not recognition. We can leave our egos out of the equation as well.

 

The way we approach things is important.  With the right attitude and with mindfulness, we can help create favorable change.  It may feel restrictive with this approach, but it is far more important to accomplish what we set out to do instead of creating blockades because of our approach.

 

Most people are open to suggestions. The old saying goes, “You get more bees with honey than you do with vinegar”. 

 

There are many ways to get your point across.  Forethought and a gentle, respectful but firm approach is worth consideration.

PISCES NEW MOON 2024

We will experience a New Moon on March 10, at 5 a.m. EDT at 20° in the sign of Pisces.  This New Moon is in the 3^rd decant, and therefore, has some Scorpio influence.  It is also sextile to transiting Uranus which is at 19° of Taurus. 

 Being in the sign of Pisces, and having some influence of Scorpio, there will likely be a strong sensitivity during this new moon phase.  The emotions are subject to fluctuations, and although those affected will be highly sensitive and quite emotional, their outward expressions will fluctuate from overactive to hidden or subdued. As a result, if you are affected by this New Moon you can be quite unpredictable but the New Moon energies can offer opportunities for change on some level.  Much depends on the houses involved in your own personal chart.

 

This is the time for change because what has been in place no longer serves a workable purpose.  If influenced by this new moon, you may feel the need for change but may also not want to ruffled the feathers that have already settled in.  You don’t want to disrupt things, but you know that a change is coming, and this is the time for planting the seeds for this transformation.  It is a time of new beginnings that can take about 6 months to germinate, and you will see some results (if you put forth an effort) during the Pisces full moon in September, 2024.

 

If influenced, you are sensitive and may find that you lash out without reason, but you should also know that outside influences can weigh heavy on you now.  You feel with intensity and can pick up on what others are feeling as your intuitive side is being influenced.  You can be quite psychically influenced and may know things before they unfold.  You likely will tend to keep these experiences to yourself however.

 

This is the time to lay a lasting foundation. Although the change to do so may be disruptive and unexpected in the ways it may unfold, you will find that over time it was exactly what was needed as you are now be in a place that offers some growth.  You can awaken to a whole new set of circumstances and a new perspective on life.

HUMAN INTERACTION

Many individuals have grown uncomfortable interacting with others face to face. It may be as a result of the pandemic, it may be our reliance on technology or it may be due to other reasons.

 

It might be time to reacquaint ourselves with direct human contact and enjoy human interaction once again.

 

Human interchange is important to us as a whole. We need community.  It has been essential to our development as the human race. At our core, we have a need to belong. Of course, there are exceptions to every rule, but we all benefit from interaction with others.

 

Overall, humanity is good at its core. Our intuitive perception often warns us of those that might not have our best interests at heart. It is imperative to listen to the little voice inside that gives us these warnings.  We all have guides that help us along our road of life, no matter how alone we might feel.

 

It is time to truly start living again. Step away from worries and concerns, from anxiety and fear, and step back out into living as a community.

OUR TRANSITION THROUGH THE HOUSES, PART III

As discussed in our posts on February 26 & 28, thinking strictly of the energies of the houses, without focusing on the energies of the planets, comets or anything else that migrates through the Zodiac, there is a progression of learning which we build on as we transit the houses.

Let’s finish with the ninth through the twelfth houses. 

 

As we enter the ninth house, we should find our answers through a transformation that is in the process, because we are now going through a stage of higher learning and reaching out to find a philosophy that fits our growth.  We are expanding our consciousness and learning about the mystical side of life.  Some begin to venture into uncharted territory of religion, and some learn about the higher education that comes from life.  This may be a time for travel and a time to learn about foreign cultures. We may want to see how others live and recognize in many cases how fortunate we are.  We should be optimistic as we move forth and know that the deeper we go, the further we grow.  This is a time (and a life) of learning. We must be open to what life is teaching us.

 

Through the teachings of life often acquired in the ninth house, we now reach out to advance our goals and objectives.  Is our career satisfying?  Is this the path we wish to take?  Do we want to make moves or is life in a good position, so to speak? Are we satisfied with our success so far?  The path in life can now become quite clear as we spent some time in the previous stage developing and learning about what we should be doing, and we may now communicate this to our environment.  We may get recognition for what we are doing, and in some cases, this recognition can become extreme.  Our place in society and our life’s status may be subject to change or we might realize that we should have put more effort into our objectives and now we need to re-evaluate.  Perhaps we need to talk to someone, someone in authority or perhaps we need to look to a group where we can share our thoughts and advance our cause.

 

This is where the eleventh house raises its head.  We may be thinking about joining a group to advance our objectives with people to share our innermost thoughts.  We search for a group that suits our journey. We might make important connections which eventually become our most cherished friends.  Our hopes and dreams may now have a chance to materialize, and we can move in a direction that not only helps us but also pushes the whole of humanity, or at least humanity in our little corner of the world, forward.  We know about the ripple effect, and we along with our group of friends, might be able to do more than we could as individuals.  This can be a time of erratic change and new directions. The psychic realm may be right around the corner.

 

Finally, we reach the last stage of development as we enter the twelfth house.  This is the place where we can rely on our intuition and insight and even dreams seem to have their place in our reality.  We need to let go a little and believe or just accept that there are higher forces in place now.  Do we need solitude?  Have we lived our life in a place of confinement?  Are we ready to trust?  Is there anything that needs uncovering?  Are we seeing things as they truly are?  We are now being guided, (although we always have been). The twelfth house energies make us aware after careful evaluation, and Spirit is our guide as we become whole once again.

 

What lies ahead as we move into our first house again?

 

We now continue with our building. This re-entry into the first house is a fresh start forward building or continuing  what we have experienced thus far.  Life is a magnificent journey of learning and building.  We are the orchestrator of our life and by our focus and thought processing, we develop the story.  Be sure to use every tool available to you during this life’s journey.  Astrology is a very valuable one!
