SCORPIO FULL MOON 2026

On May 1, 2026, we will experience a Full Moon in the sign of Scorpio at 11°. 

 

Scorpio has to do with intensity and there are no halfway measures when it comes to emotion and sensitivity.  In most cases, with Scorpio, the emotions are kept under wrap, hidden from others.  When the emotions do surface, however, they surface with force. 

 

To determine if you are affected by this Scorpio Full Moon allow a 3° orb of influence. The Conjunction and Opposition aspects are prime indicators to calculate what is now coming to fruition.  This likely started some six months ago when the New Moon was in the sign of Scorpio. This will involve things that have been buried and left unspoken and now need to surface.

 

There may be some secrecy involved. The current focus may have been hidden or kept under wraps previously but after some digging, these tend to come to the surface. This needs to come out and be dealt with so that you can move forward.

 

This may be personal especially if the first house is involved. It likely involves a relationship of significance because we should look at the opposite house as well.

 

If, for example, the second house is where the placement of the Moon is found now, then there would be circumstances involving financial situations and shared resources.  Much will depend on the other planetary influences in place at this time, especially the outer planets if they are making contact with this position or making important impacts to the natal astrology chart at the same time.

 

Scorpio is about an honest inner look at what needs to surface. It may be considered somewhat unpleasant or taboo on some level.  If it is personal, have an honest look and see what you can do on a personal level to bring about the dynamic changes needed.  In many cases, because of the ruling planet Pluto, transformations begin after an internal study. Once the internal look has been conducted, a new beginning will begin to unfold.  What no longer serves your evolutionary quest now needs to be released.

 

The influence you experience will depend on your response to it.  Some individuals look forward to change and evolution, while others may be fixed and do not appreciate change. Some may refuse to acknowledge that change is what is required. 

 

With the Scorpio Full Moon 2026, the work you put into bringing things to the surface will be reflected by what needs to take hold now. The harder you worked, the greater your rewards, even if you are not sure what comes next.

WITHOUT YOU, THE PUZZLE IS INCOMPLETE

Many of our readers have asked in many different ways how they can make things better.

 

Can one person make a difference?

 

We have talked about the ripple effect on many occasions. One small act can touch countless people.  

 

Currently, people are talking about the stress they are experiencing and the need for change on a deep level. We have heard that the world around us currently looks grim leaving many feeling anxiety and despair.

 

We can do our part to change the world for the better, even if in ways that feel minute.

 

Currently, we see and experience the effects of war but there is also much going on beneath the surface too.  The struggles we experience take a toll on each one of us in different ways.  Some hold on and keep everything inside, others react externally while others, through their discomfort, can, intentionally or unintentionally, cause difficulties for others.  We become enveloped in stress and anxiety by taking on the energies around us, both from people and from our judgement of their actions.

 

Is this a turning point or transition period globally? 

 

It certainly feels like it.  We are at the precipice of change.  Transition is always painful as we make way for the change.  Those with influence should take a leading role in making life better for those around them, pressing for peace and safety. 

 

What can one individual do to push for peace?  I’d love to hear your suggestions.

 

Don’t think that you and your little piece of the puzzle won’t or cannot influence the whole.  Without you, the puzzle is incomplete. You and your contributions are needed. Will you influence peace, hunger, isolation, loneliness, ………..?

JUPITER SEXTILE NATAL JUPITER

When Transiting Jupiter makes a Sextile to its Natal position in your birth chart, this will be a time of strong potential for advancing action in life.  The life area involved is determined by Jupiter’s natal house position in your chart as well as the house position transiting Jupiter is moving through. 

 

The prospect potential in the birth chart is determined by the aspects from planets and angles to Jupiter within the Natal Chart.  The reason for the term potential is that all aspects in the birth chart, regardless of whether challenged or not, can provide the impetus for gain and lessons well learned.  Some aspect’s energies are much more difficult to maneuver through.  Because of this, we often experience turmoil in these areas of life, but we will learn valuable lessons from these experiences.

 

Any experience within the natal chart must come from the energies of transit or progressions.  Otherwise, the potential written within the birth chart sits dormant. 

 

Jupiter brings with it opportunities and great potential for furthering our evolutionary quest.  It opens the door to further exploration, develops insight into ways to advance in life, fosters the energy needed to succeed and brings with it what is required to reach higher plateaus. 

 

When Jupiter reaches its own Natal position by aspect these potentials are heightened and much can be achieved during the aspect contact.  The Sextile implies opportunities in these areas determined by the houses involved, but they work much more favourably when we assert ourselves.  Little to no improvement will be accomplished if we choose to sit back and not act on the energies during this highly anticipated life event timing.

 

Using these energies is highly suggested. Examine not only the houses involved in the equation but also the signs involved.  The houses are the areas of life involved, the planets signify the energies involved, and the signs suggest how these can be applied.

 

Transiting Jupiter sextile natal Jupiter offers great potential and personal growth if you put in the effort to get results. This aspect will also help to provide the energy required.

ASPECTS FOR SUN IN TAURUS 2026

Today, we will look at some of the aspects affecting Sun in Taurus for 2026.

 

When we review the positioning of the major Transits, we note that Saturn and Neptune are both in the sign of Aries. As a result, they are making a semi-sextile to Sun in Taurus. 

 

We also note that Uranus is moving into Gemini on April 26 which will also make a semi-sextile aspect to the Taurus sun.

 

What is a semi-sextile?

 

To begin, with a semi-sextile, you can only allow a small arb of influence which should be no more than 2° from being direct. It is a minor aspect which is considered frictional. It may go by unnoticed. If we are attuned to the energies, however, and with considerable focus and adjustments taken where required, we can take steps that will bring growth over the long haul.  The energy needs to be moved forward and can have a lasting effect if a good degree of work is done.  Sitting by and doing nothing will not bring about rewards.

 

You must consider the planetary energies and the houses involved in the Taurean’s chart to reach possible conclusions as to how these energies might pan out. 

 

Neptune and Saturn have opposing energies. Saturn seeks steady, reliable, hard work to ensure lasting potential.  Neptune, on the other hand, connects with spirituality, intuition and abilities that lie beyond what would be considered “normal” or even static to inspirational insight and psychic intuitive knowledge.  Saturn is in the realistic material realm and Neptune connects to intuitive inspiration and psychic awareness.

 

When both Neptune and Saturn are in the sign of Aries, there is a giant push to do whatever must be done for oneself.  Sun in Taurus individuals must approach life by doing what they need to do and that is best for themselves, not for others, although in many cases others might be involved in the process. 

 

The houses in the astrology chart will indicate what areas of life are involved.

 

Uranus in Gemini speaks of a change of direction often through great transformational energies that we seek through mental reasoning. A new direction is often what this is about and in some cases the action is quick, decisive and possibly abrupt. A part of you will understand that this change of direction is needed, and you know what to do to make it happen. 

 

It is important to look at all other transits which affect this placement, as with all contacts.  This gives you a clearer understanding of what full energies are in play, either making this change easy or challenging.

 

Transiting Jupiter is making a Sextile to this positioning, while Transiting Pluto is making a square. 

 

Check your ephemeris to see where these transiting planets are in your chart and if they affect your Taurus Sun sign. The closer the degree, the stronger the energies.

OWN IT

Whatever you might be doing right now in your life, own it. Regardless of how it might look to you at this point, on some level it is supposed to be.

 

If this is a good experience, wrap your arms around it.  If this is a stressful experience, embrace the lesson as it is an educational experience.  The faster you learn the lesson, the faster you can move beyond it.  This too will pass.

 

I truly believe there are no co-incidences in life. There is something valuable behind everything in life, sometimes we recognize it and sometimes the value is hard to see. If you can’t find the “why” behind what is taking hold life, let it go. It will be revealed eventually.

 

Taking responsibility and making it your own are two completely different energies.  Sometimes life happens and the events are out of our control. We are not to hold the responsibility. Learn the lesson and move on. Do not own it. If we hold on to challenges in life, or take up residence in these challenges, we create an experience where we only see challenges and we are held captive.

 

We are at the mercy of some life experiences, and we cannot alleviate these lessons. We can, however, at them as lessons and change our attitude towards the experience.

 

Explore life below the surface. What lies there?

 

If we look at our experiences from a different vantage point (not as a victim) , we can find answers. There is a time for everything in life. Whatever is happening right now, own it just for the moment so you can learn from it and then move on. Life is to be lived!

SUN IN TAURUS 2026

The sun moves into the sign of Taurus on April 20, 2026.

 

Some of the general traits of a typical Taurus Sun individual include patience, perseverance and reliability.  They seem to have a no-nonsense approach to life, realizing that it takes hard work and a diligent effort to achieve the goals they set.  They know that it takes time, and this is where patience and perseverance come into play. 

 

Most Taureans are considered efficient, practical and reliable. They usually stay-the-course especially when working towards building financial security as they appreciate the finer things in life.  They will work towards a nest egg, and many begin saving at a young age compared to most other Zodiac signs. 

 

They can be quite stubborn and will relentlessly work towards their goals.

 

Ruled by the planet Venus, they are romantic and pleasure seeking. They can and will, however, commit to a relationships when they have found the right partner.  They are loyal and can be counted on to be persistent and stable once committed.  Romance is important to these individuals, and love and affection including closeness are valued character traits that they seek in a romantic partnership.

 

Sun in Taurus individuals are considered quite stubborn and do not like change.  They like the tried, tested and true. ASPIRATIONS AND GOALS

At what age do we begin setting goals for ourselves? 

 

Some begin very early in life to set financial goals, others wait until later and some never aspire to creating a “nest egg”.

 

Most of us wish to be comfortable, at the very least. It is quite normal to set goals for financial success. However, when setting these goals we must make sure that we are not coming from a place of shortages and that we are not becoming obsessed with the need for more.

 

We live in a material world, so there it is expected that we set these goals. However, should material achievements be our only goals?

 

We do not have to be fixated on material aspirations.  We can also choose spiritual or metaphysical ambitions. When we search for our spiritual connection (whatever spirituality may mean to you), we realize that this is not something that we need to seek, because it is already a part of who we are.  Look within and we can recognize that connection. Many of our readers have mentioned that they do not feel worthy of this connection and the reasons behind this vary immensely from person to person.

 

Knowing that our belief structure expands with focus, we need to pay attention to our beliefs, our expectations, our focus.  These will build and more will come your way. Focus is key. We need to regularly review our beliefs and expectations.  Are they advantageous?

 

Let’s keep our minds open. The only limitations are the ones that we put on ourselves.  We can focus on opening our minds as well as letting go, practicing and allowing. It gets easier with disciplined effort. 

 

Our thoughts, aspirations and goals have ripple effects.  We mold our reality with our belief structure and focus. What is possible?
