Are you a puppet for those that insist on defining your life’s path?

 

You may choose to give up your goals due to different responsibilities at the time. Perhaps you are a parent, for example, and you are fulfilling your responsibilities to guide and nurture your children. Because of this, you have set aside other life ambitions to do the best job you can at being a parent. 

 

Taking it a step further, you may have become lost in the needs of others and find it impossible to fulfill your own wishes due to the obligations you have made to others.

 

Taking care of your children is certainly a priority. By deciding to have children, you have committed to being a parent and sometimes parenting takes up much of your time but you as an individual are still important.  Fulfill your responsibilities but also fulfil your duties for yourself!  You can’t be the best person possible if you are not caring for the very foundation your children rely on.

 

When young, your children must have your guidance, support and nurturing. As they begin maturing into themselves, especially in their teenage years, you will notice that they are more influenced by their peers. Letting go is difficult as you have always put them first. Have faith that the seeds of knowledge you have planted have germinated and will bear fruit. 

 

You are still there for your children but now it is time to let them utilize what they have learned and grow into the responsible adults you have helped groomed them to be.  By doing so, you can now prioritize yourself.

 

It is not only your children that can set the stage for your priorities. Perhaps these influencers are your parents or your friends, or perhaps your spouse or employer.  It is not selfish to practice self-care. The road of less resistance may be the vary road that steals your choices.

 

There are always mitigating factors that will try to influence your choices. If you have been neglecting what you know is best for you, now is the time to take back control.  Make a conscious decision to make yourself a priority.  Being pushed into choices you prefer not to make is still a choice.  Take responsibility! Walk the road of self-discovery and make your life by your design.

JUPITER SQUARE NATAL URANUS

Transiting Jupiter while in transit has an 11 to12 year cycle to return to its original position in the natal chart.  Its cycle for major aspects are:

12 years for the Conjunction,

3 years and 9 years for the Square,

6 years for the Opposition,

4 years and 8 years for the Trine, and

2 years and 10 years for the Sextile. 

 

These numbers are rounded off due to retrograde and the direct motion of Jupiter meandering through the Zodiac. These timing frequencies are tied to the time after its natal position awakening, (the natal chart configuration). 

The Square to Uranus during Jupiter’s transit always suggests challenging conditions and the learning of valuable lessons often attached to belief structures that have been built over time.  When transiting Jupiter makes a square to natal Uranus, the conditions surrounding this aspect are challenging but at the same time, brings valuable awareness. 

 

Because of this awareness which can lead to change, we learn precious lessons that can assist in our journey.  We may look at our life structures through the belief systems we have adhered to and make changes.  We often alter our perception and realign our beliefs in a much more structured manner, although unique in its expression and often brought on through unexpected life events. These changes point us in a new direction that is more suitable for our evolutionary path.

 

Uranus, because of its unpredictability and sudden awarenesses coming to our attention, can bring results that are unprecedented and uplifting after some challenging conditions.  In some cases, our religious views alter, our perception of life is challenged and then a shift takes place, affecting our philosophic ideologies. New doors are opened. 

 

The Natal position of Uranus by house and sign position will provide guidance as to how this unfolds and what area of life is involved.  Jupiter’s transiting position by house and sign will also add great insight into the potential of what is unfolding in a rather dynamic way at this time. 

 

With transiting Jupiter square natal Uranus, you likely will not look back to how you viewed your life as your new awareness is more integrating and puts you in a place more suitable for now, although tough to handle during the process.

When challenges arise, we need to know when to fight and when to let go.  Some circumstances are worth the fight, but others will simply wear us down and over time create more adversity and less peace in our lives if we do not let go.

JUPITER CONJUNCT NATAL SOUTH NODE

 (OPPOSITION NORTH NODE)

 

Since the Nodes are always exactly 180° apart from one another, when we speak of the South Node by Conjunction, we also speak of the North Node by Opposition.  

The South Node is said to be linked to past lives and the expertise learned from these lives can be used in the pursuit of what the North Node relates to in this life.  The South Node is said to be a “comfort” place where we should not be residing, and that we should be following our North Node’s direction even though it may be uncomfortable because it is unknown.

 

Jupiter is associated with growth, expansiveness, fortunate conditions, or at the very least, the potential of creating something positive and gained experience through life’s experience. 

 

The South Node is often considered similar in its influence as is Saturn, suggesting challenging situations and delayed reactions or obstacles that stand in the way of success. 

 

The Conjunction to the South Node indicates an emphasis on the desire to fall back into what might feel more comfortable, although we know we need to press forward into change or find a different direction. 

 

For instance, if this has to do with a relationship (indicated with the South Node being in the 7^th or 5^th house, or perhaps in the sign of Libra) then perhaps the relationship is now not suitable for you moving forward, and although you feel the need to move out of it, a part of you still wants to stay in the relationship, because, even though it is not a good relationship, it is comfortable and familiar. 

 

Another example might be if the South Node is in the fourth house or Conjunct the IC, which suggests that the North Node is in Opposition to your MC. With this example, you might have been tied to looking after your family and domesticated duties Now you need to leave this because a career has the potential to be unleased and assist in your goals.  You are quite comfortable at home, but others might be suggesting that you take this job, because of the opportunities that it offers.  Oppositions often involve other people’s feedback or needs and sometimes these needs overshadow your own personal desires.

 

If this was another planet that might be doing the Transit rather than Jupiter, the conditions would be quite different. Jupiter will often produce positive results after some deliberation, and you will likely benefit from its influence.  Uranus, for example, would bring sudden unexpected changes, Neptune would dissolve the situation, and Pluto could bring arguments and struggles into play. 

 

Check to see where your North and South Nodes are located by sign and house as this will determine the areas of life involved.  If they are also being affected by other transits, this will have to be delineated to get the full picture.  Always look at the natal potential in the birth chart.

 

To summarize, with transiting Jupiter conjunct natal South Node, opposition natal North Node do not fall back into what is comfortable. Push forward and fulfill this life lessons. Jupiter will help!

SIGNATURE LIFE EVENTS

We experience events that act as steppingstones in life and these events propel us forward!  We also have events that foster growth through perseverance, diligent effort, experience and by what some would term chance. 

 

Often, we can feel as though we are at the mercy of life, when life seems to dictate and create struggles that are so overwhelming that we feel stifled and lose faith in our journey. 

 

In the next breath, we can experience what feels like a miracle which takes us to places we never dreamed we could reach. 

 

Either type of events can create major turning points in our journey.

 

At times, we work diligently for something we have set as a priority and we can fall short. There are even times when we complete a difficult life lesson where we feel we have actually moved backwards in our journey.  Remember, however, we learn valuable information from our shortcomings and blunders. The experiences can be very unpleasant, and our egos can be wounded; but we will remember the experience and use this new information or tool moving forward. Do not be emotionally hurt by failures. Our attitudes can make the experience excruciating or fill us with gratitude for the lesson. Remember, it is our ego that is suffering not us (we are not our ego).

 

We can enter some journeys or life lessons as one person and come out at the end of the lesson a whole new person. These experiences often set events in motion that further our evolution even more further down the road of life.  In some cases, we look at life from a completely different perspective after these life lessons. 

 

We can begin to recognize that the flow of life is gauged by expectations, belief structures and focus.  Magic is present with our expectations, and we welcome new adventures (lessons) that promote long-term healing and potential for further growth.

 

We should always remember that we walk our path with others and our actions have ramifications.  What we do in life affects others.  Life has profound ripple effects. Our movement can motivate others or hinder others, temporarily.

 

Walk your road, learn from your signature life events. You advance, fall back, push forward, persevere, deliver and accept. It’s part of the learning process. Life is a mystery but oh so magical, too.

VIRGO FULL MOON 2026 (LUNAR ECLIPSE)

On March 3, 2026, we will experience a Full Moon, Lunar Eclipse at 12° in the sign of Virgo.  This eclipse will influence your chart, (your life) if you have any planets or angles within 3° by Conjunction, Opposition and to a lesser degree Square, Trine and Sextile aspect to this position.  The house where this moon is located will be the area of life involved and its effects are said to last in months, the length of time the eclipse lasts in hours. 

 

According to timeanddate.com in the Toronto area, the eclipse begins at 3:44 am, is at maximum at 6:33 am and ends at 6:52 am, for a total duration of 3 hours and 8 minutes. As a result, the effects will be felt for approximately 3.25 months if your chart is impacted.

 

In Virgo, it will be associated with service on some level and the need for doing things right because you are very familiar with what is wrong with the situation.  You have seen all the little flaws in things, and you want to do the best you can to correct them if you can or at least to make them as perfect as possible.

 

Most eclipses get you moving and bring about an end of circumstances for something new to take its place.  In many cases, things move rapidly, beginning abruptly or in unexpected ways.  They can arrive in manners that you would never have thought of, and because of their advanced movement, you are requested to move along with the energies and make the changes to your life or they are likely to be made for you.  Things will go through a metamorphosis never to return to the way things were prior to this event.

 

Because it is a lunar eclipse, this time is likely to be very emotional, but you are meant to move forward just as the universe is suggesting.  This is often linked to a major turning point in life, one that will not be forgotten.  It brings things to the forefront and although it may not seem like this is a favorable time in life, (although it can also point in that direction) over time you will understand that what took place during the Full Moon Cycle was what was needed and it will work out in a favorable manner.

 

This Virgo Full Moon 2026 (Lunar Eclipse) will bring opportunities and once things come together, you will wonder why so many fear an eclipse.  Unless you have challenging aspects connected in your natal chart, there is little to fear. Change can be uncomfortable but beneficial.

2026 ASPECTS FOR SUN IN PISCES

Today we will highlight some of the aspects affecting Pisceans.

 

We generally only discuss the influence of the outer planets on any given Sun sign for our mini forecasts.  This is due to the fact that the inner planets are often quite fleeting and less significant, although if they go into retrograde, their energies can become more evident in our lives, lasting longer and having a stronger influence.

 

The main aspect taking hold, especially with those who have their Sun in the early degrees of Pisces, is the Semi-Sextile.  The Semi-Sextile is considered a Minor Aspect and needs a small orb 1°-2° to influence our lives.  It may be minor, but it is consistent in its energy.  It is an aspect of friction and gives us a minor push to integrate the energy of the planets involved into our lives.  The planets involved are out of element and are not in the same modality, so they do not have much in common.

 

From February to the end of March 2026, Saturn and Neptune are in the sign of Aries making a Conjunction with one another.  They each make a Semi-Sextile to those with their Sun in the early degrees of Pisces.  Check your ephemeris for greater details on what degrees each planet is at in that particular sign to establish if and when they will influence your chart.

 

The Sun in Astrology has to do with our vitality and helps us set goals and aspires us to find our path in life, among other things.  Saturn is about restriction, delays, achievement based on hard work and long-lasting influence with objectives if we persist and are diligent in our efforts to find something suitable and reliable.  Neptune has to do with the subtle energies linked to feelings and intuitive understanding, so together they work tirelessly to find solid foundations on which they can depend but these also need to be realistic and stable in their unfolding. 

 

The Semi-Sextile will require us to take baby steps to seek out goals for our future which will help us maintain and stabilize our life’s situation and goals moving forward.  This will likely not be an easy task, but we have the mental capability to see all sides of the situation and understand intuitively that unless we push for a result, everything remains the same, denying us progress. 

 

The houses concerned will define which areas of life now need to be studied and changed. 

 

The aspects for those with their Sun in Pisces 2026 are about slow and deliberate development because you are in the right place at the right time.  Long-term development is possible if you do what must be done but you cannot ignore what is right in front of you.  Baby steps; no need to rush into any situation blindfolded.  You need to know where you want to advance and how to move forward in a steady, purposeful manner.

 

There will be far more aspects stirring energy in your chart.  We have only looked at the Sun in Pisces for this article.
