SUN IN LIBRA

On September 22, 2024, the Sun will move from the mutable, earth sign of Virgo into the cardinal, air sign of Libra.  The element of air has to do with the communication process and our thinking.  All air signs (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius) are the thinkers of the Zodiac and are involved with the sharing of ideas and the spread of information.  Libra, however, is all about balancing life.  They require peace at almost any cost, are fair-minded, conservative, and most do not feel whole unless they are in an earnest relationship.

 

Relationship is a key word for many Libra individuals, and this can also apply to those who have Libra on their Ascendant and from an emotional connectedness, those with their Moon in the same sign.  Those with many planets in their 7^th house also have some of the Libran characteristics. 

 

Libra individuals make good collaborators and will see to it that things are just and fair.  They can make good lawyers, judges and mediators.  In part, Libra is here to bring evenhandedness into the world through negotiation and justice.  Libra is all about others and will willingly sit on the proverbial fence so as not to cause any rift, balancing themselves to keep the peace.  However, when it comes to those close to them, especially their partners, they can most certainly speak their mind.

 

Most Librans enjoy hosting parties, or at least being part of a gathering, if those in attendance are peaceful. They do not enjoy aggressive individuals and hate confrontation.  Libra individuals are gentle persuaders, kind personable individuals and in most cases, genuinely care about others.  Friendship is important but they should learn to choose their friends with care, although in most cases they do.

 

Being a cardinal sign, Librans are not the ones who will sit back and do nothing. They enjoy getting moving and making plans that suite all people involved.  They make good conversationalists, and their peaceful demeanor suits most people.  They do, however, sway from one perspective to another, but this is often because they do not want to ruffle any feathers.

INNER BEAUTY

Much of how we act today (and react if applicable) is reflective of our opinion of how and what has transpired in our life up to this point.  We react to life experiences and our response will enhance growth or stagnate or even deterioration.  Much depends on the resilience and attitude of each individual as they encounter life.  Some face life with resistance, some face life with observance, some face life completely open and some face life with fear.  Much depends on your upbringing, your inner personality, your attitude, your state of mind as well as the circumstances that life has provided.

 

Within most individuals, but not all, dwells a hidden face reflecting our inner beauty and affectionate response to others.  Some put on a tough exterior that they feel they need to protect them; some relax and show this inner face, some withdraw as they are deeply affected by what goes on around them and they take on other’s energies. 

 

We all need a place of solace and peace.  We all need a comfort zone. 

 

Some of us recognize the inner beauty that dwells within and bring it out into the open without fear of what others may think.  Some of us keep our inner beauty hidden beneath the surface for various different reasons.

 

Perhaps it’s time to reveal that softer, more gentle person that lies within, to reveal that inner beauty.  Perhaps we need to rise above our fears and be open to life. 

 

Letting go is not a weakness. It is faith in life that whatever transpired is meant to transpire as it should. It is faith in ourselves that we are who we should be.

FULL MOON LUNAR ECLIPSE IN PISCES

A Lunar Eclipse always brings to the surface the end or culmination of events.  It marks a time when we reap the rewards for our hard work or when we conclude that it is time to let go of something because what we began did not materialize or reach a viable conclusion.

 

Eclipses often bring a turning point and news of events that are far reaching.  If you find that during this period that nothing significant is happening to you, it is likely because the eclipse degree does not interact with your Natal Chart.  However, you may find that your friends or family members do experience events at this time.  A Lunar Eclipse’s energies influence last as long in months as the actual eclipse lasted in hours.  So, if a Lunar Eclipse lasts 3 ½ hours, it will have influential energies for approximately 3 ½ months.

 

This partial Lunar Eclipse will be visible over Europe, much of Asia, Africa, North America, South America, the Pacific, the Atlantic, the Indian Ocean, the Arctic and Antarctica, according to www.TimeandDate.com   You do not, however, have to have visibility in order to be influences by its energies.

 

Often something must come to an end for something new to begin.  A Lunar Eclipse is emotional in its nature, and we can feel sentimental.  Many times, the events that do unfold, if our chart is affected, can take place when you are not expecting them.  Quite often things that do unfold seem predestined or out of your control.

The Kite formation is often in place when Fate and Destiny seem to take hold in life’s events.  Because this Kite formation is enhanced by the Grand Earth Trine, quite often this energy can speak of opportunities and easy flow when it comes to matters related to growth and development in earth type ventures.  Perhaps this speaks of goals or objectives that now have a chance to grow.  Perhaps this is work related or related to the purchase of material goods.  Something along these lines has the potential to materialize if your chart is activated.

 

The Opposition produces tension but brings forth action on your part as you strive for perfection or attempt to make things work.  You need the tension from the opposition and the sextiles to implement what you wish to set out to do.  The Sextiles present opportunities, and the opposition pushes you into action and often other people are involved.

 

Usually when we are looking to see if our chart is involved in the equation, we allow a 3° orb of influence and if you noticed that Transiting Pluto is 4° from exact which is rather far reaching but still activates the kite formation.  The conjunction, opposition and square from the natal chart to the position of the Moon (25° Pisces) are the most influential aspects in this configuration. TIMING

How do we know when the timing is right to move ahead or change direction? 

 

Are we ready for action or change? 

 

How will our action affect us? 

 

These are some of the questions we ask ourselves when we are planning.

 

We may hesitate because of our mind’s chatter, or we may hold back because of fear and anxiety.  These unfortunately can cause missed opportunities. 

 

So then, what guides us and how do we know if we should advance? 

 

Quite often we get what is referred to as “gut feeling or instinct”.  There is a part of us that knows whether or not we should do what we are about to do.  Sometimes we listen to this advice, and sometimes we ignore it.

 

This is not to say that we don’t do our due diligence.  That is the first step when we decide to move forward with a plan.

 

There will likely come a time when we look back and say to ourselves “I regret not taking that step”, or “am I ever glad that I listened to my gut instinct and worked towards my goal”. 

 

There will often be worries or concerns about actions taken, but if we sit back and never follow through, we will never know what could have been.  Fear is our greatest enemy and gut instinct is our greatest supporter.  We must learn to differentiate between the two.

 

Sometimes things just fall into place and sometimes we need to assert ourselves and work diligently towards that result we seek.  Have no regrets because of anxiety and fear that resulted in no action.  Push through adversity and know that whatever decision you make, it was the right one, no matter how it might look in the present moment. 

 

You always move in the intended direction.  What we consider a mistake is actually an experience teaching us a valuable lesson. 

 

Advice from others can assist, but ultimately, you make the final decision, so you take responsibility and the action.

TRANSITING URANUS MOVING INTO GEMINI

Transiting Uranus has been in Taurus (it’s fall position) since March, 2019 (without taking into consideration retrograde movement prior to this). Uranus moves through a sign about every 7 years.  Although still some 18 months away from moving into Gemini, we thought we would touch on this upcoming energy. 

 

All the planets have an exalted position, a detriment position, a fall position and their domicile position by sign.

 

A planet does not function well in its Fall position.  It is not suited well for the energies which are part of the planet in question and it’s position by sign.  Its energies are not suitable for this placement.  Uranus likes and pushes for change, especially when what was in place no longer suits its evolutionary quest.  It seeks change of direction so it can open doors to new perceptions, new opportunities and awaken to these possibilities.

 

Taurus on the other hand likes security and stability and does not like change.  It is quite comfortable in situations which provide structure, stability and are reliable.  Uranus is unpredictable by nature while Taurus is very predictable by nature.  As you can see, in short, these two do not work well within the structures they provide or are looking to implement into being.

 

Although Uranus in not exalted (exalted in Scorpio) or in its domicile (domicile in Aquarius), it will still be much more comfortable in this new amiable and explorative element of Gemini.

 

Gemini is ruled by the mind, is open to new ideas and does not resist change. It knows on some level that the exploration into new and inventive ideas can produce viable results.  Aquarius, the ruling planet of Uranus, and Gemini are both Air signs. Transiting Uranus moving into Gemini will work well.  Although Gemini is a mutable sign and Aquarius is a fixed sign, Gemini can mold into areas that Aquarius might infer. 

 

As we begin to feel the shift of Uranus which begins approximately 3° prior to moving into the next sign, we can expect the beginning of a concentrated focus on bringing something new into existence.  With Transiting Uranus moving into Gemini, we can open doors that have been closed and begin to feel the shift into an area of interest and excitement.  The mundane no longer will be in place, and we are now open to new upcoming intervals with an awakening of sorts beginning to take hold.  What was in place may have suited the environment previously but now needs to shift and move where it is much more comfortable and open to new avenues of expression.

 

Those with Uranus strong in their charts will be the ones most affected by this transition on the near horizon. The placement of Transiting Uranus by house and aspect in your chart will be where this implementation will be enhanced. 

 

Also, you will need to have a look at the natal potential and see what aspects your natal Uranus makes within the framework of your natal chart and its house position.  This will provide you with a greater understanding of what is yet to come.

FEAR AND OBSTRUCTIVE VIEWS

There is certainly justified fear.  There are many cases, when fear is in place to warn us of danger.

 

Fear, however, can also be a part of our life because of our perceptions and our belief structures.  We can live in fear of what might unfold even when there are no indicators that such an event is possible.  Our minds can trump good judgement and take us down roads that do not need to be travelled.  We can be swept away by our thoughts which are not based on reality.  We must step back and recognize our mind’s chatter for what it is and bring ourselves back into the moment (reality).

 

We cannot change what we do not recognize so recognition of the mind’s chatter is the first step.

 

Negative viewpoints on life events or people that we associate with can change the course of our relationships at home, with friends and co-workers. These viewpoints can also stand in the way of peace, mentally and emotionally. 

 

Forgive where forgiveness is appropriate. It is essential to look within at our own actions before we lay blame on others. Is our perception clear or is our judgement clouded?

 

If you are in danger or in an abusive relationship, do what you need to do to change this.

 

If someone has misspoke, a heartfelt conversation and forgiveness may be the appropriate action. 

 

Take the action needed to move forward whether this entails maintaining the relationship or moving on but do not hold a grudge.  Grudges hurt you; no one else.

 

Do not act out of hurt and haste when making decisions that are irreversible. Fear and obstructive views are detrimental. Haste and ego can lead to many years of wasted time or worse.

TRANSITING SATURN TRINE NATAL MARS

Transiting Saturn currently (September 2024) is in the sign of Pisces.  Pisces is a sign of spirituality, psychic energies and is not well acquainted with mundane earth matters.  It can resort to escapism, has creative endeavors or abilities, is feeling and intuitive. This intuition is likened to feelings rather than the thought process.

 

Saturn has to do with structure and discipline and is known as the teacher of the Zodiac.  It speaks of hard work, sometimes restriction and delays, and has its endeavors tied to business or working towards achievement. 

 

Saturn pushes us towards what is material and real while Pisces can be tied to service. When distressful situations surface, Pisces can have the tendency to avoid this at any cost.  Together they will force us to look at life from a deep perspective and although intuition plays into this scenario, reality will also surface.

 

When Saturn makes a Trine to Mars, (Mars being the planet of aggressive action and Saturn being restrictive and can create obstacles) there is a degree of hesitation to our achievement push.  Part of us wants to push ahead with great enthusiasm and another part of us says we need to slow down and make sure we are not only ready to work and move ahead but that there is little chance for mistakes along the way.  Saturn forces us to rethink what we might be venturing towards, and it can also make us worry about the validity of these endeavors.  So, there may be a push and pull situation at hand.

 

With Saturn trine natal mars, we may be often presents with opportunities and easy flow even when Saturn is involved although the energy does not flow without diligent work.  There are things in place that can help us move in our intended direction and chances are with the right preparation, we will succeed in our endeavors.  There may be some stumbling blocks along the road to overcome, but this helps us create the perfect plan and will also make sure that everything is done right the first time.

 

Look to the natal positioning of your Mars by house and aspect as this will provide you with further indicators of the area of life involved and how challenging or how easy the flow to achievement will be for you.  Saturn’s natal position will also give you more information along with its transiting position.
